    Used for a trip with my parents.

    I used this Hotel as a birthday gift for my parents. It was conveniently close to the station, and the entrance was slightly dim with calming lighting, which my elderly parents also appreciated. We stayed in two Rooms: a Superior Corner Twin, and a Double Room with an extra bed added. From the Superior Corner Twin, we could even see the torii gate of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and the view was great. The amenities were also excellent, including a coffee maker and a ReFa hair dryer. The bathroom was spacious, with two sinks and plenty of vanity space, making it very easy to use. On the other hand, in the Standard Room, the changing area is shared with the toilet and sink area, so there is no place to put clothes or towels and it feels cramped and less convenient. However, it is new and clean overall, so it wasn’t particularly unpleasant. The Hotel staff were calm and professional, creating a pleasant atmosphere that made our stay very comfortable. Thank you for taking care of us for two days.

    Relax in the ancient city of Kamakura

    A Hotel offering a quiet, relaxing space in front of the second torii gate of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, away from the bustle of Komachi-dori near Kamakura Station. The Rooms are spacious, with separate toilet and bath, and a generously sized washing area. Perfect for walks: 9 minutes on foot to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and 7 minutes on foot to Koga-tei.

    Fun for Couples

    Thank you for your continued support. Staying at this Hotel is a special pleasure for us as a couple. In summer, we stay here after SUP in Zushi, and in winter, around our wedding anniversary. The location is incredibly convenient—close to Kamakura Station and just steps away whether you want to shop for souvenirs or buy freshly harvested vegetables at Renbai. The moment we step into the Hotel entrance, that distinctive scent brings us back, and it makes us smile. All the staff are kind and provide truly pleasant service. That’s why we never feel like trying another Hotel (laugh). We’ve already made our winter Reservation! Until then, we’ll keep working hard.

    Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay.

    This time, I visited by train to celebrate my friend’s birthday. It was my friend’s first stay at this Hotel, and they were very pleased with how beautiful the view from the window was and how clean the Room was. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. Overall, our one-night, two-day stay was very satisfying. However, before our stay I emailed with a request and felt uncomfortable with the tone of the reply. Because we were traveling by train and wanted to reduce our luggage, I asked whether you could accept a courier delivery. Your response was: “We can accept it, but please send it prepaid.” Of course it would be prepaid. I have made the same request at many Hotels and have never once been told “prepaid,” so I was very surprised. Whenever we visit Kamakura, we choose this Hotel. During our stays we use the Room carefully and also try to make it easy to tidy up at checkout. I believed we had built a relationship of trust. At other Metropolitan group Hotels (Marunouchi and Sendai), I have never been told or written anything like this—this is the first time. Does this Hotel often host guests who would unreasonably send their own luggage collect-on-delivery? Have you had bad experiences in the past? This came on top of my disappointment regarding items such as cutlery for the birthday cake. In the end, instead of shipping our luggage, we brought three pieces with us. I hope you will improve this process.

    It was very comfortable.

    The building, Room, and Facility were all clean and new, making for a very comfortable stay. It is close to Kamakura Station with convenient access to transportation. The breakfast was also excellent and plentiful. Overall, it was so satisfying that I would definitely like to stay again.

    I always stay here during hydrangea season. It’s close to the station, and this time I stayed in a Room with a garden, which made it very relaxing and restful. However, I would appreciate it if the lobby coffee were available from check-in time.

    The peace of mind of MUJI

    Disappointing meals.

    I stayed for four nights. The breakfast selection was very limited and almost the same every day. It would be better to rotate the menu on a five-day cycle to avoid guests getting bored. I also wish there had been boiled eggs and rice porridge.

    It was very conveniently located near Kamakura Station and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, with excellent access. The room was clean, and the amenities were more than sufficient. I was also satisfied with the breakfast.

    Certified as a Regular Accommodation in Kamakura

    I was reminded once again of how great the location is. Early-morning temple visits, strolling, shopping along the market street— and being able to return to the Hotel and head out again with ease— made it possible to enjoy Kamakura to the fullest and very efficiently. The front desk staff were excellent, and the Room was clean. I was very satisfied.

    A relaxing and soothing stay.

    As I did last year, I stayed here again during hydrangea season. With the station nearby, it’s extremely convenient for sightseeing and dining. From the moment I arrived at the Hotel, the welcoming scent and the staff’s smiles made me feel like I was coming home, and it was truly relaxing. The Room has a calm, bright wood-grain design, and the bathtub’s curved shape is very comfortable. Breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh items—more than I could finish. When I come to Kamakura again, I’d love to stay here again.

    The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the station. The Room felt clean, and we really appreciated the complimentary water service and well-stocked amenities. One of the deciding factors at the time of Reservation was having a separate bath and toilet, and after walking a lot while sightseeing in Kamakura, it was wonderful to be able to relax in the bath. I stayed with my mother, and she was very happy as well. The staff were also polite and kind, which made our stay very comfortable. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

    The Most Convenient and Comfortable Hotel in Kamakura

    The Facility (especially the Room) is designed to be extremely comfortable, and I was satisfied. However, although the restaurant is operated by MUJI and simply set up, the breakfast selection was somewhat disappointing.

    Excellent access

    My friend and I stayed here together. As someone from the Kansai region, this was my first time sightseeing in Kamakura. I wanted to visit during hydrangea season, and after doing some research, I made a Reservation expecting great access, a delicious breakfast, and comfortable service at this Hotel. It exceeded my expectations. The thoughtful amenities were wonderful—cooling sheets for your legs after walking around Kamakura all day, and eye massage sheets that really helped relieve fatigue. The bathtub depth was just right, and I was able to relax with bath salts. Breakfast at MUJI CAFE was also delicious and very satisfying. The coffee service in the lobby was great too—I could take a relaxing break while planning my travel Plan. All of the staff were pleasant and welcoming, and I would love to stay here again next time.

    It was wonderful.

    We stayed at the B&B, and the lounge was very convenient to use. We could also adjust the air conditioning ourselves, so our stay was very comfortable. The water garden was beautiful and relaxing.

    Kamakura Stroll

    I had a very comfortable stay. The location was excellent, close to Kamakura Station. There was no large public bath, but the in-room bath was spacious and helped me relax after a long day. The Room was also clean and well maintained. I especially liked that coffee service was available 24 hours a day. I would like to stay here again when visiting Kamakura. Thank you very much.

    A Hotel with a Calm Japanese Atmosphere

    The calm Japanese ambiance, with fresh flowers and tasteful furnishings, was wonderful. The Room had a separate bath and toilet, plus a washing area, which made it very convenient to use. There was also plenty of hot water. Breakfast was at MUJI CAFE on the first floor; the tofu and Saikyo-yaki fish were delicious. One small note: the lobby fragrance was quite strong, so I felt it would better match the Hotel’s atmosphere if it were toned down a bit or replaced with a tea incense burner.

    We were extremely satisfied.

    I’ve visited Kamakura many times on day trips, but this time I chose to stay at this Hotel because I really wanted to experience an overnight stay. They upgraded my Room, and I was able to relax and unwind completely. Dinner was a delicious kaiseki meal at Araju, and breakfast also featured gentle dishes that made the most of the ingredients. The Room was thoughtfully equipped with convenient features, such as a grab bar by the toilet and a chair provided in the bath. Even the paper cups for coffee in the lounge were stylish. Walking along Dankazura lit up at night and taking an early-morning stroll to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine made for a truly special time. Finally, I joined the Hotel’s early-morning walking tour and had a wonderful time. I’m already planning another stay.

    Kamakura Stroll

    This was my first stay. It was just a few minutes from the station and easy to find. The Room had a double bed, and although I stayed alone, it was very comfortable and convenient. There were plenty of complimentary bottled water and amenities, so you can stay with minimal luggage. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and I could stretch out and relax in the tub. The tea is provided in tea bags, but there was also a teapot, which made it especially relaxing. One of the highlights of staying here—the breakfast buffet—offered a wide variety of options with a well-planned layout. It never felt crowded, so I could enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. Everything was delicious, and I was very satisfied. The staff were very kind and courteous, making my stay pleasant. I would love to stay here again when visiting Kamakura.

    My husband and I stayed for one night. It was unfortunately raining when we arrived, but when the staff saw our wet suitcase, they offered us a towel. We really appreciated it.     This Hotel is just right.

    I stay here 2–3 times a year. It’s the perfect Hotel for meeting classmates in Kamakura, enjoying great food, and spending a fun time together. The Room is always clean, and the amenities are just the right selection. It’s close to Kamakura Station with a great location, yet it’s quiet. I really like it.

    A consistently high-quality Hotel you can rely on

    [Room & Amenities] I booked the Premium Corner Twin expecting it to be the largest and best Room, as a change from my usual Corner Twin. However, when I heard it would be on the 2nd or 3rd floor, I wondered why there were no options on the 4th or 5th floors. In the end, it did not feel as spacious as I had imagined—I mistakenly thought it would be a larger Room stretching along the road. That said, being a corner Room with large windows made it bright and airy, and it was nice to have a close view of what seemed to be the second torii gate of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. If it had been on a higher floor, I wouldn’t have worried about people’s eyes from outside and could have kept the sheer curtains open; unfortunately, I only opened them when taking photos. It may be that higher floors offer doubles rather than twins. Also, I badly hit the top of one foot on the step up into the raised area; several days after my stay it is still swollen and painful to wear shoes, so if I stay again I will pay closer attention to differences from my usual Room layout. The amenities selection was extensive and very well provided. [Service] There was no special interaction, so nothing particularly memorable—but not feeling uncomfortable at all may actually be the best kind of service. JR Hotels membership may include a one-hour late checkout, but due to my schedule I usually leave 2–3 hours early anyway; personally, benefits like free parking would be more helpful. [Onsen / Bath] By my own standards, this was top-level satisfaction for an Accommodation without a large public bath. The bathroom was spacious enough and the shower was easy to use. [Facility & Equipment] There may be building restrictions in town, but having only five floors for guest Rooms feels slightly limited. Still, everything is always impressively clean—almost like new—and that consistently satisfies me. [Meals] The breakfast buffet is MUJI-affiliated, and at ¥3,000 it wasn’t just reasonable—it offered more than enough variety. This time my favorite was the mixed rice (takikomi gohan). As I’ve mentioned on other travel sites before: because I often need an early checkout schedule-wise, starting breakfast 30 minutes earlier would help greatly. This time as well (again), I ended up arriving a few minutes late for my next engagement. [Satisfaction] This time the Room differed from what I had pictured beforehand and felt slightly less convincing for the price; even so, overall satisfaction remained high. [Overall Rating] No matter what details I write here, overall I am very satisfied.

    Simple Stay

    Stayed in late April and was upgraded to a better Room as a courtesy from the Hotel. They said it was due to the Hotel’s circumstances, but other guests received the same, so they may upgrade you if there are vacancies. I was happy that the amenities included foot-care sheets and warming eye masks. The shower height in the bathroom is adjustable, but the angle is not. The shampoo and conditioner were fine, but not my favorites. Breakfast is at the MUJI restaurant on the first floor. Many guests arrived right at 7:00 when it opened, but it was a downside that some dishes were not yet available. Overall, it was a satisfying Hotel with clean, user-friendly Rooms.
