    This was my second stay. As expected, the location is excellent. I was able to visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine during the quiet morning hours and took several walks to Yuigahama. The amenities are well-equipped, which is helpful. Thank you for holding my luggage both before and after check-in.

    A hotel where you can spend a wonderful time at the end of the year and the beginning of the new year.

    I use it every year during the New Year holidays. The Room is clean, the amenities are good, the bath is large and excellent, the breakfast is delicious with a New Year's menu, and the staff's response is wonderful. The location is great. I was able to see the first sunrise and visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, making it a perfect start to the New Year. Thank you. I will be in your care again at the end of this year and the beginning of next year.

    I was able to relax very much.

    Close to the station, the staff's hospitality was pleasant as per the reviews, and amidst the bustling crowds of Kamakura at the end of the year, I felt relieved when I returned to the hotel. It's not about good or bad, but I appreciated the hotel's approach that didn't overly focus on recent eco trends. I would like to visit again during a more relaxed period. It was very nice.     Close to the station, convenient transportation, and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is just nearby.

    I was unsure whether to stay by the seaside or in the city for my Kamakura exploration, and since I am not familiar with the area, I decided on this place in front of the station (I usually use hotels from the Metropolitan or Mets series, so I felt reassured). It is easy to find from JR Kamakura Station, and the first floor has a MUJI café and shop. The breakfast using local Kamakura vegetables is delicious. The room is modern with a sleek interior, stylish, and comfortable. The separate bathroom is spacious. It was the perfect location to visit shrines and temples, and when tired, I could rest in the room. You can also take a rickshaw from the hotel to various attractions like Tsurugaoka Hachimangu (reservation required), so I would like to try that next time. Noteworthy are the smiles, quick response, and attentiveness of the female front desk staff. Thanks to them, I was able to explore comfortably and lightly even before check-in and after check-out. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude. Thank you very much for this time.

    I was able to relax slowly.

    It was very cold that day, so I stayed in the Room after checking in, but it was comfortable and I could relax. The beer and nuts from the diamond benefits were delicious. The firmness of the bed was just right, and it was comfortable to sleep. I was alone this time, but next time I would like to stay in another Room with my family. There were various things available for breakfast, and even though I was alone, I had a comfortable time.

    We stayed in January this year for our wedding anniversary. We liked it very much, so we stayed again for my wife's birthday this time. We have enjoyed the breakfast here since our last visit and were looking forward to it. We were pleased with the room and the staff's service, and we would like to use it again.

    Last time I stayed with my husband, and this time with my daughter. The location in front of the station is excellent, but more than anything, it is a wonderful Hotel that matches the atmosphere of Kamakura. The service at the front desk during check-in and check-out, the smart guidance to the taxi, the perfect cleaning, and the elegant lobby decorations. Thank you very much. Also, the MUJI breakfast and all the staff are wonderful. I have decided that Kamakura means staying here, and I will visit again.

    I use it as my regular Stays when visiting Kamakura, and it is very close to Kamakura Station, making it very convenient for exploring Kamakura Ichien and dining. The staff's response is good, and it is a comfortable Hotel.

    The location of the Hotel was excellent, with a supermarket and convenience store nearby, making it very convenient. The Room had a calm atmosphere, allowing for a relaxing stay. I was able to enjoy my time comfortably without being bothered by surrounding noise. The table size was smaller than expected, and it would be perfect if there were bath additives among the amenities.

    It was very comfortable!

    I stayed in the Komachi Double Room for one person. The room is 20 square meters, and I initially imagined it would be slightly better than a typical Business Hotel. However, the large floor-to-ceiling window offered a view of the garden greenery, and the glass-paneled bathroom was bright, spacious, and very functional, which made me happy. The design is well thought out down to the smallest details—while not luxurious, it is modern and very sophisticated. I also appreciated that all essential amenities were properly provided. Being able to stay here at this price for one person is truly delightful. Its location near the station makes it extremely convenient! I would love to stay here again!

    First Trip to Kamakura for a Wedding

    This time, I traveled to Kamakura to attend a wedding and stayed at a hotel for the first time. The location is great, being close to the station and the bus stop for the wedding venue. The impression is that the hotel's room is clean, with a perfectly made bed and bathroom. The only slight disappointment is that the bed feels a bit short. Other than that, the room is clean and well-maintained. The detailed amenities in the bathroom, such as a hot eye mask and refreshing patches, along with cosmetics, are nice. The coffee machine next to the lobby is a delight for coffee lovers, allowing for a leisurely and enjoyable experience. The breakfast, provided by MUJI, is satisfying and delicious. Thank you for the wonderful stay during my trip to Kamakura for the wedding.

    I used the train to ...

    I used the train to get to the hotel, and since I had researched in advance, I was able to find the entrance without getting lost as it was close to the station. The interior was enveloped in a pleasant fragrance, offering a calm and quiet space different from the bustling city atmosphere, allowing for a relaxing stay. Although there was a bit of a wait during check-in and check-out, I was able to sit and wait comfortably, and the hotel staff were all very courteous, making for a pleasant stay. The room had a lovely atmosphere with a view of the torii gate of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu from the window. In front of the window, there was a raised area like a living room where I could relax comfortably. However, I was a bit disappointed to find some stains resembling coffee on the air purifier tank and the hand-washing sink. I did not include breakfast, but after hearing from a companion who did, I thought it might have been nice to have a leisurely breakfast. It was a stay that made me want to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    The view from the Room facing the back street is not good, but it is quiet. It is suitable as a Room to return to for sleep after a tiring day of sightseeing. The thoughtful touches like bath additives and cooling amenities are appreciated.

    The location is excellent.

    Kamakura is a place you can visit for a day trip, but this time I chose to stay overnight. The proximity to the station is convenient for exploring, and I've always been drawn to the appearance of this Hotel. It's very convenient. The Room was a superior twin, with a calculated design that was neither wasteful nor lacking, making the stay comfortable. The bath is spacious, allowing you to relax as if you were at home. On the other hand, it doesn't have the extravagance of an extraordinary experience, but if you're familiar with Kamakura, you can spend your time as if you live there. Even if you're not familiar, there are plenty of shops and tourist spots around to enjoy efficiently. I opted for No Meals Included, and since I went to places I wanted to visit for both dinner and breakfast, I can't comment on the food quality. However, the tea and coffee in the Room were disappointingly like those at a metropolitan level. The hairdryer is also a simple one. It's better to think of these aspects as on par with a Business Hotel, but the bed and pajamas were better than those at a Business Hotel, so overall, I was satisfied. I understand that if you want more than this, you can't find it at this price, and I actually think it's good that this is a metropolitan. At this price, I can easily repeat my stay, and I really like it.

    I had another comfortable stay.

    As before, we stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. It is close to JR Kamakura Station, and even if you come by car, the underground parking (reservation required) is very convenient as it is not affected by the weather. The front desk staff are efficient and courteous, so even when it's crowded, it doesn't bother us. The room is spacious and well-equipped, allowing for a comfortable stay. There is a favorite restaurant within walking distance from the hotel, and staying at this hotel and enjoying delicious food has become a pleasure several times a year. The staff uniforms also had a resort feel and were lovely.

    The JR Hotel Group is close to Blossom Hibiya. The Room was spacious and clean, and the small elevated space in the Superior Twin was comfortable. There are skincare amenities (Sekkisei) and a hair iron (curl and straight dual-use) available for rent, making it recommended for a light Kamakura short trip.

    Recommended as a base for your Kamakura trip

    The location from the station is excellent. It is a clean Hotel. I stayed for one night, spent the day eating around, and had dinner at a restaurant I was interested in. Breakfast was a buffet at MUJI CAFE. I chose what I liked from Japanese and Western options and enjoyed it. If you are planning an active trip, I think it is just right.

    It was excellent.

    We stayed as a family of three. It was a Room with an extra bed and a raised floor area. The Room had a calm atmosphere with a wood texture theme. The raised floor area was very comfortable, allowing us to relax. The bath was also spacious and comfortable, and the hairdryer was a Panasonic nanoe, with every detail being very thoughtful and excellent. The pork bowl at the breakfast buffet was very delicious. We would like to use it again.

    I used this place for my first solo trip. They stored my luggage before and after check-in, allowing me to explore the area freely. This service was greatly appreciated. The staff were kind, which eased my anxiety about traveling alone. I would like to use this place again.

    At check-in, the staff picked up the child without confirming with the parents (they asked the child if they wanted to be held, but the child was too young to express refusal), and although it was likely out of goodwill to keep the child from getting bored, it made us feel uneasy and unsafe. It was disappointing because we have always been satisfied with the location and the Room.

    It was comfortable.

    Conveniently located near Kamakura Station. We were able to store our luggage before check-in on the day of arrival and after check-out on the day of departure, allowing us to tour efficiently. There is a MUJI shop on the first floor and a convenience store next door, making it convenient for small shopping needs. This time, we splurged a little and stayed in the Premium Corner Twin, but considering the convenience of the location, I think a cost-effective room would be more than sufficient.

    Kamakura is within a...

    Kamakura is within a day-trip distance, but we decided to splurge on transportation costs and stay overnight. With a MUJI store attached, I felt reassured that I wouldn't have to worry if I forgot something. Inside the Hotel, everywhere was very stylish yet had the warmth of wood, creating a very comfortable space. The Room was also very functional and comfortable, with a bath area where I could relax. The amenities included a full set of the premium line of Sekkisei, bath salts, cooling foot sheets, hairbands, and more, so I didn't feel inconvenienced at all. It also supported Netflix, allowing us to relax and enjoy watching at night. I couldn't turn off the footlight under the raised floor (probably to prevent tripping), which bothered me a little when sleeping, but the bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep quickly. It was a wonderful Hotel that I would love to stay at again soon. Thank you very much.

    This was my first time using this service. Initially, it was a bit difficult to find the entrance, but the location is close to the station and great for sightseeing.     I would like to use it again.

    Thank you for the three days. When you go around the front desk, they immediately greet you kindly. Although I joined during the Olympics, I forgot that I was a JR Hotel member because I couldn't use it during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, at check-in, I was informed that points would be awarded and that check-out would be at 12:00. Thanks to that, I was able to relax on the third day when I was tired from walking too much. The hotel was clean, and above all, having a separate bath was comfortable. Since the washroom and toilet are also separate, I think it can be used without hesitation by those staying in groups. The partition door with the bedroom was also lovely. The free Kamakura walk with the former rickshaw driver was a lucky bonus. The downside was the raised floor. It was relaxing in its own way, but I stumbled. I was advised to be careful at check-in, but I fell spectacularly on the first day when I wasn't used to it. I placed a chair to make it more noticeable. Other than that, it was comfortable and turned into an enjoyable trip. Thank you very much.
