    Birthday Trip

    Staying for a birthday celebration during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was my first time using IKYU.com. The Room was spacious, but I noticed that the bathroom, toilet, and shower were quite small, possibly designed for international guests. The birthday gift and dinner hospitality were exceptional as expected from Imperial Hotel. I look forward to staying again for special occasions and will continue to use IKYU.com in the future. Thank you!

    It was a comfortable stay.

    I stayed at the accommodation with my son during our trip to Osaka. Since our schedule was relaxed, we had the chance to use the lounge, and the staff's hospitality was always pleasant. This time, we opted for room service for all breakfasts and enjoyed them while admiring the autumn leaves. The suggestions about sightseeing provided during service were very helpful. I would like to visit again in a different season next time. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you very much!

    Always enjoy a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.

    This is a wonderful space where you can enjoy the view. With a panoramic view of Mount Ikoma and planes landing at Itami Airport, it’s the perfect location to enjoy a drink. Spending time here at your leisure brings an incredible sense of happiness.

    Highly Satisfied

    I stayed at this accommodation with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time while attending a sports match. Since the game was long and we arrived late, we decided to stay here to enjoy both dinner and the highly-rated breakfast, which I had always wanted to try—and it was fantastic. The high ceilings provided a sense of openness, and the beautiful interior design made for an excellent experience. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering not only Western options like omelets and French toast but also a wide variety of Japanese dishes, which was delightful. I also appreciated the attentive service with coffee and tea offered at thoughtful intervals. The weather was perfect, providing great views and making our morning walk very pleasant. I would love to stay here again!

    I always enjoy staying at this accommodation. I usually stay on the same floor and in similar rooms, but I was wondering if the bathtub sizes differ depending on the room. (It wasn't a major issue, but I felt it was surprisingly small.) This is not a complaint, just a confirmation to see if it’s my misunderstanding.

    Is the stay duration setting unreasonable?

    I chose this accommodation because of the early check-in time, as I had plans to visit the Expo in the evening. However, the check-in process was not smooth, which left me feeling a bit disappointed. (Perhaps due to being preoccupied with preparing the room, there was no guidance provided about Wi-Fi or other amenities.) The club lounge offered a great view and made for an enjoyable experience. The room was very comfortable with personal amenities and an ample supply of towels provided. The mist room felt slightly outdated; this was the only minor downside for me regarding the room. Since my stay was planned around visiting the Expo, it would have been better if the restaurant or room service were available until later hours. Breakfast via room service allowed me to enjoy a calm and pleasant meal in my own space. Aside from the check-in experience, my overall stay was excellent. I would love to stay here again if given another opportunity!

    Kind and courteous

    At check-in, I was worried about the payment changes, but the staff kindly and thoroughly looked into contact and confirmation methods, which was truly helpful. At check-out, despite my sudden request, they efficiently arranged for the Aqua Liner, allowing me to fully enjoy a cruise in Osaka's water city. Additionally, everything about the Hotel was highly satisfying—the luxurious and spacious Room and the relaxed check-out time until 12 PM made my stay very comfortable.

    I want to stay here again!

    Accommodation for Osaka Castle Hall use. A bathroom with a washing area to support relaxation time, and a breakfast that feels both traditional and fresh. A highly satisfying stay where you can experience Imperial Hotel quality in both service and facilities.

    As expected.

    I stayed here for the first time in a while as hotels near Umeda, Osaka, have become expensive. The atmosphere is classic and calm, with a building that retains traces of the bubble era. The ceilings are high, the Room and hallways are spacious, and the pool is large and not crowded—everything was excellent. Breakfast was delicious, and all the hotel staff were professional as expected. The only downside is that it’s far from stations or other facilities. Highly recommended!

    A Trip to Osaka with My Father and Sister's Family

    A trip after a year We came to Osaka with my 92-year-old father and my sister's family. It was a hotel we had always wanted to stay at together, so we had a great time. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed relaxing in the lounge and taking a pleasant walk along the Okawa River.

    Located by the river...

    Located by the riverside of Okawa, a bit away from Osaka Station, it offers a pleasant morning walk on sunny days. The staff's service and the hotel's quality make it reasonably priced.

    Free Upgrade

    I always stay here when visiting my hometown. I was unexpectedly upgraded to the Imperial Floor for free, and I am truly grateful! The amenities were excellent, and I was able to relax in great comfort. The cheesecake in the lounge was incredibly delicious. If given the chance, I would love to stay in the Imperial Suite as well.

    "Tokyo Brand, Osaka Blend"

    As always, I reflect on checking in with casual attire, even though it was after visiting the Expo. The view from this Room is truly unique to Sakuranomiya, allowing me to relax and forget the fatigue from the Expo. With its location befitting Osaka, the city of water, and the reliability of Hotel Imperial, I could spend my time comfortably and with peace of mind during my trip. I especially appreciate your effort in accommodating my specific requests this time—it means a lot to me. Looking forward to experiencing LEGACY again next time!

    Thank you very much.

    I always have a pleasant stay here. It would be great if there was a disinfectant deodorizer for clothes (though I might have just missed it), and aside from finding some hair in the bathtub, I appreciated the extra mineral water provided and had a comfortable stay. I look forward to staying again next week.

    I’ve always enjoyed ...

    I’ve always enjoyed staying here, but this time was different. At check-in, I was shown to a dedicated desk, but then left waiting for about 20 minutes. My luggage was also kept and left unattended during that time. Right in front of me, two front desk staff were absorbed in discussing charging a foreign guest’s taxi fare to their Room and did not acknowledge me at all. It felt like inbound foreign guests were being prioritized. The Imperial Floor lounge and the restaurant, however, provided the best hospitality as always.

    Exceptional hospital...

    Exceptional hospitality. Flawless service in every situation. During the busy Expo period, prices were higher, but the price gap with other Hotels narrowed, making it feel more cost-effective. I would love to stay longer next time.

    Simply outstanding.

    The service provided by the hotel staff is, in my opinion, the best in Japan. While it may lack the glamour of international hotels, its classic elegance is unique to Imperial Hotel. The facilities and rooms might be somewhat old, but they are well-maintained. At the breakfast venue, when I was about to pick up my egg dish from the chef, he kindly stepped out and handed it to me directly. This level of hospitality is truly characteristic of Imperial Hotel. As a side note, I really like the paper bags provided in the room at Imperial Hotel. They are sturdy and well-made; I took one home with me and my mother was delighted with its quality. Additionally, a staff member who helped carry my luggage to my room remembered that last year I had taken a taxi to Kansai Airport during my stay. This time as well, they thoughtfully asked if I needed a taxi again. Once again, this attention to detail exemplifies what makes Imperial Hotel exceptional.

    This is my favorite Hotel in Osaka.

    I stayed at this accommodation last year during the year-end and absolutely loved it. When visiting Osaka, I usually stay at an international hotel near Shinsaibashi for the first few nights, but for the latter part of my trip, I always choose Imperial Hotel. The staff's service and hospitality are outstanding. I believe the hospitality at Imperial Hotel is the best in Japan. In fact, I think all staff from luxury hotels across Japan should undergo training here. The staff here never ignore guests. Even if you're just standing idly, they will immediately approach you to assist. I'm truly impressed by how attentive they are to their guests' needs. The shuttle bus driver between Umeda and the hotel is also excellent. When I stayed last year, the hotel had perfectly remembered my specific requests from that visit. Although I hold top-tier membership with an international hotel chain, I've yet to encounter a foreign-owned hotel that matches the level of service provided by Imperial Hotel. Unfortunately, it seems that those living overseas cannot register as members of Imperial Hotel. If registration were possible, I would undoubtedly become a member without hesitation.

    Attention to detail is greatly appreciated.

    Stayed in early September to visit the Osaka Expo and relax. A 3-day, 2-night stay with the Expo on the second day. On the first day, I enjoyed a relaxing time at the Imperial Lounge. On the second day, I went to the Expo using a taxi arranged for me. After a full day of activities, I unwound in the mist sauna. I had knee surgery in July and was traveling with crutches as my recovery wasn’t complete. Despite this, my friend loved the breakfast buffet so much that we used it both times. Since I couldn’t carry anything due to my crutches, staff kindly assisted me by taking note of my preferences and serving me accordingly. Thanks to their support, I had an enjoyable stay. Even inside the elevator, fresh flowers were beautifully arranged, offering a sense of refined everyday luxury. I would love to stay here again!

    Very lovely. I felt so relaxed.

    First visit to Osaka in over 40 years. The bus from the station was very convenient and helpful. The Room was clean and relaxing, truly impressive. I enjoyed a meal through room service, and the setup was very pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful time. Looking forward to staying again!

    A comfortable stay with every convenience.

    I chose to stay at the Imperial Hotel for a relaxing experience during my visit to the Expo. I booked an exclusive plan for Diamond members, which allowed me to stay on the Imperial Floor at a great value, making it a very worthwhile accommodation. Although the hotel is not new, the room was impeccably clean, and the amenities provided were more than sufficient for a comfortable stay. While not specifically mentioned, the hairdryer was a Panasonic Nanoe, which left my hair feeling incredibly smooth—so much so that I considered purchasing the same model for home use. Breakfast was as delicious as expected, and I ended up enjoying a hearty meal that could almost be called brunch. After check-out, I needed a space to work and, although the lounge was not available, the front desk kindly directed me to the business center. Thanks to their assistance, I was able to handle some urgent tasks, which truly showcased the exceptional service of the Imperial Hotel. Overall, the staff's hospitality was outstanding, and I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

    The hospitality and service are excellent.

    This time, I stayed with a no-breakfast plan to visit the Kansai Expo. The staff kindly guided me to the room with very attentive service. I received complimentary pool and sauna discount tickets, so I enjoyed using the large public bath. Thanks to this, I was able to fully enjoy the Expo. Thank you very much.

    Excellent

    I had a very comfortable stay. The riverside view Room (attached) was, of course, wonderful, but the staff were also excellent—approachable when needed and offering just a greeting otherwise. At the restaurant, I truly appreciated their thorough accommodation of my somewhat complicated allergies. The only downside was that the tablet provided in the Room was not very user-friendly.

    I stayed at the accommodation again after a long time. Both during my previous and this stay, I was impressed by the thoughtfulness of all the staff. Additionally, we used Nadaman for lunch, and I was truly surprised by their attentiveness when they noticed my wife's poor health. It turned out to be a wonderful family trip. Thank you very much!

    The view from the Room is absolutely stunning!

    A pleasant 5-minute walk along the riverside promenade from Sakuranomiya Station brings you to the Hotel. The upgraded Room we were kindly offered featured an arched window with a 180° panoramic view. Right in front of us were the Okawa River, a green promenade, and airplanes flying nearby, creating an enjoyable scene. At night, the sparkling city lights resembled scattered jewels, and suddenly, magnificent fireworks lit up the sky, leaving us in awe! Reuniting with a friend after 20 years in such a comfortable space allowed us to share many stories, making it a memorable experience. The bubble bath in the Room was incredibly relaxing, easing the fatigue in my legs, and the body lotion had a soft, gentle fragrance that was soothing. The high-quality amenities were delightful, and the bedding was so comfortable that I had a restful sleep. Waking up to a sunrise that filled the window and the softly lit streetlights along the river was breathtaking. The view reminded me of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, which I visited years ago. I am grateful for the wonderful Room provided. However, one disappointment was the lounge. I was excited about the afternoon tea and evening plate, but the offerings were underwhelming, with both featuring the same food. Perhaps I had set my expectations too high, especially after experiencing the Club Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Osaka, where the difference in quality was striking. That said, considering the price difference, it’s understandable. The location and the view from the windows make the Imperial Hotel exceptional. The warm hospitality and smiles from the staff truly reflect the high standards of the Imperial Hotel, just as I experienced at the Kamikochi Imperial Hotel during a previous stay. Strolling along the promenade in front of the Hotel during cherry blossom season must be delightful. Next time, I would love to try the well-equipped and wonderful fitness club. The fresh and beautiful floral arrangements in the lobby and lounge conveyed a heartfelt sense of hospitality. Thank you for the excellent service and a memorable stay.

    As expected of the Imperial Hotel.

    During check-in, I mentioned that my birthday was last month, and I was delighted by the surprise of receiving a towel birthday cake and baked treats. Additionally, as part of the Imperial Floor benefits, I was able to enjoy the fitness center, pool, bath, and sauna. The staff kindly explained how to use the machines, and I had such a great workout that I ended up with some muscle soreness, which I hadn't experienced in a while. The members were also very kind to us as visitors, which truly reflected the exceptional hospitality of the Imperial Hotel. The bar had a wonderful atmosphere, and I enjoyed cocktails, making for a sophisticated and relaxing time. However, I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't have the sandwiches or congee I had during my previous visit to the Imperial Floor, and the breakfast buffet's danishes and croissants couldn't be warmed up. Still, from checking in at 2 PM to checking out at 12 PM the next day, the time flew by as I had such a fulfilling stay, and my friends were equally delighted.
