    Sophisticated hospitality and impeccable cleanliness. Highly recommended!

    It was my first stay, but this was a wonderful Hotel that felt warm and reassuring—like coming home. What impressed me most was the staff’s perfect sense of distance: refined, top-class service while still friendly, making the entire stay truly comfortable. The Room was also impeccably cleaned down to every detail—perfectly spotless wherever you looked. You can really feel how much the staff cherish this Hotel. The room service beef curry I had in the Room had an astonishing depth of flavor—absolutely outstanding! I was completely satisfied with every aspect of my stay: service, cleanliness, and food. I’ve found a special Hotel I can recommend with confidence. Thank you for such an amazing time that left both body and mind fulfilled. Without a doubt, this is a special place I’d love to make my regular Accommodation.

    Enjoy the Tenjin Festival

    My trip to Osaka happened to coincide with the Tenjin Festival, so I stayed here to join the “Hotel Dinner and Tenjin Festival Viewing Evening.” It was my first Tenjin Festival, and I was able to enjoy the dedication fireworks comfortably without the crowds, making it a truly memorable stay. On the other hand, I was slightly disappointed with the front desk service. I fully understand that many guests were staying due to the festival and that it was a very busy day, but there were moments when I felt guidance and explanations were somewhat insufficient. Since I had been really looking forward to my stay at the Imperial Hotel, that part left me with a small regret. I hope this will be a Hotel where no matter which staff member assists you, you can always receive consistently reassuring, high-quality hospitality. Still, I am grateful that I was able to spend such a special day in comfort. Thank you very much.

    Excellent!

    We stayed on the Imperial Floor! Check-in was handled at a table. The lounge had an excellent selection of drinks, snacks, and ice cream. The view was great, and we could see multiple planes. At night, the city lights were beautiful! Breakfast also included Osaka specialties (niku-sui and kushikatsu), showing real attention to food. There was plenty of Japanese and Western cuisine, as well as desserts and fruit—very satisfying! The Room amenities were also well stocked. Nothing to complain about. We could also use the spa and enjoy a relaxing bath. We would definitely stay again!

    I stayed as a treat ...

    I stayed as a treat for myself and had a wonderful time from the warm welcome at check-in to my departure. The Room was beautifully prepared with great care, and although amenities have become simpler in many places recently, the selection here was excellent and truly reflected the Hotel’s high standards. I also enjoyed shopping on-site; everyone was courteous, making it a pleasant experience.

    [Imperial Floor] Deluxe Twin River View - Non-Smoking Thanks to the thoughtful care and warm smiles of all the staff, we had a wonderful stay. We also enjoyed dinner via room service for the first time.

    It turned into a wonderful birthday.

    We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. They upgraded our guest Room free of charge, and we were able to stay in a very spacious Room. I had requested a cake and sparkling wine in advance, and my husband was delighted by the surprise. As my husband has difficulty walking, I asked for a high chair in the bathroom, and they kindly offered to prepare handrails for the toilet and bathtub as well, which made our stay very comfortable. During turndown service, they replenished amenities and more—everything was taken care of. All staff members were extremely kind, with warm and heartfelt hospitality. The bathroom felt a little small compared to the Room, but it wasn’t inconvenient. The vanity area was very spacious and there was also a desk, which made it easy to do my makeup. We were both very happy that it became such a wonderful birthday celebration. We would love to visit again for another special occasion. Thank you very much.

    We felt truly welcomed and appreciated the warm hospitality.

    I stayed from July 17 to 19. Knowing how wonderful the Imperial Hotel Tokyo is, I made a Reservation and stayed here for sightseeing in Osaka. Hospitality varied depending on the staff member, and perhaps because my expectations were too high, I was disappointed at first. However, there were also staff members with truly outstanding hospitality, and I was able to check out feeling very satisfied. First, at the Imperial Floor Lounge: there was a male staff member—perhaps the person in charge—who was seated near the entrance. He was there on both the 17th and 18th. His kind service, polite manner of speaking, and impeccable etiquette really conveyed true hospitality, and I thought, “This is exactly what you’d expect from the Imperial Hotel!” Next, regarding dinner: on the 18th, I made a Reservation at Jasmine Garden inside the Hotel. Two male staff members took care of our table (one gave me an Imperial Time booklet as we were leaving after finishing our meal; the other was a younger male staff member). They also showed warm hospitality through their kind service, polite speech, and refined etiquette. In particular, I was very impressed by how thoughtfully the younger staff member answered my questions with added value. When I visit Osaka again in the future, I would like to stay at Imperial Hotel Osaka again. To all of the staff members mentioned above who assisted us—thank you very much for your wonderful care.

    The Imperial Hotel is truly in a class of its own.

    I stay here looking forward to the breakfast buffet at the Imperial Hotel Osaka. The omelets are simple yet showcase true professional skill, and the carefully selected vegetables and fruits are excellent as well. The bread section, in particular, offers a different lineup from the Imperial Hotel Tokyo, and everything—including the donuts—is absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, housekeeping is flawless, and the bell staff are quick and attentive—refined without being overbearing. Once again, I was reminded of what makes the Imperial Hotel so exceptional. Thank you always.

    The thoughtful hospitality is wonderful.

    I have stayed here several times. My birthday happens to be next week, and they had discreetly placed a birthday message and a small gift in the Room. I was very happy with their thoughtful care. This is a Hotel I highly recommend.

    Overall, the quality is very high. However, there were differences in cleaning techniques among staff, and the housekeeping after the first night was outstanding. They neatly arranged the items scattered around the bathroom area, placed paper under a used cup, and even covered it with a lid. When I returned to my Room tired, it felt like they had imagined what kind of presentation would be most pleasant. It truly felt like a veteran’s work. The cleaning on the second night seemed more by-the-book—but it was still spotless, so I have no complaints. I asked Room Service to warm up some rice, and they kindly included water as well even though I hadn’t requested it, which made me happy. The attention to detail—from the first night’s housekeeping to Room Service—was inspiring. I will definitely stay again!

    Luxury Trip to Osaka

    I had previously stayed in a guest room on the Standard Floor. After that, I was able to stay in a guest room on the Imperial Floor, which I had long admired and wanted to experience at least once. Since it was the day right after Golden Week ended, I was able to stay at a very good rate. It’s also convenient that there is a shuttle bus between Osaka Station and the Hotel. A 2:00 p.m. check-in is a nice bonus. Right after checking in, I went to the fitness club’s bath and sauna to refresh myself, then headed to the Imperial-exclusive lounge when it opened at 3:00 p.m. for an elegant coffee break. The room itself was wonderful as well—classic and refined, with high ceilings that felt truly luxurious. The bath amenities were also high-end. I went back to the lounge again around 5:30 p.m., chose four items from the menu, and enjoyed some sparkling wine too—everything was absolutely delicious. When I returned to my room, it seemed turndown service had been done, and the room had been prepared for bedtime. It was my first time experiencing such attentive service, and I was genuinely impressed. For breakfast, I ordered Western-style breakfast via room service. It was a graceful and delicious morning in such a lovely room. It was an unforgettable trip where I truly enjoyed an exceptional Hotel stay. Highly recommended for an anniversary or special occasion—please try staying here at least once!

    Wonderful.

    I have stayed here several times, and I feel the service from all the staff, including the front desk team, is outstanding. I was very satisfied with every venue—the Chinese restaurant, teppanyaki, sushi, and the lounge. However, this time I used the casual restaurant for the first time, and I was a little disappointed with the service from one female staff member. Since everyone else is so pleasant, it may have stood out even more. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    We used this Hotel for my family’s stay when they visited Osaka. Since an elderly family member was staying, we had some concerns, but they seemed to spend their time comfortably. There are many lovely shops inside the Hotel, and they enjoyed shopping as well. All of the staff were very kind, and we said, “As expected of the Imperial Hotel.” They were also very pleased with the clean, spacious, comfortable Room and the view of the Okawa River from a high floor. We will likely stay here again when visiting Osaka. Thank you very much.

    After all, the Imperial Hotel

    Although it was only for one night, it was a very comfortable stay. The Japanese and Western breakfast buffet showed the Hotel’s thoughtful attention to each dish, with a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. The bathtub in the Room fit perfectly and allowed me to relax while bathing. The staff’s service was natural and excellent. As expected of the Imperial Hotel. Next time, I would like to stay for several days.

    I love Snoopy!

    I love Snoopy, so I stayed at the Imperial Hotel. The meals, service, and staff were all very satisfying. I travel with friends often, and this Hotel ranks among the best! If I had one request, I’d be happy if there were loungewear instead of a yukata, since many Hotels we’ve stayed at provided that. It’s a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again. Thank you very much!

    A Relaxing Space

    The Facility, the staff’s hospitality, and the overall guest atmosphere all made it a very calming space. Breakfast at Café Couvert was just as relaxing, and I was completely satisfied with the variety of dishes, ingredients, and flavors. We visited as a party of two, but we were seated at a table for four, which gave us plenty of space—much appreciated! The card key has changed from the previous plastic one (?) to a wooden one; it feels great in hand and simply holding it lifted my mood. It wasn’t very warm on the day we stayed, so the toilet seat felt quite cold. I would appreciate it if a seat-warming function could be added. I brought an Amazon Fire Stick and tried to connect it but couldn’t get it to work. I asked at the front desk, but the response was vague. I managed to resolve it myself by looking online, but I would have appreciated more attentive support. The view from our Room was wonderful, and above all we were able to relax and unwind. There is also a shuttle bus to Umeda, which was very convenient—thank you! This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again. Thank you very much for all your help!

    Stay for a Wedding Anniversary

    When making our Reservation, I mentioned that it was our 30th wedding anniversary, and at check-in a female staff member offered us warm and thoughtful congratulations, which truly moved us. In the Room as well, there were subtle anniversary touches, and we felt once again that this long-established Hotel continues to evolve its heartfelt spirit of service. The gentleman who carried our luggage was also very handsome and treated us with genuine care. His expression didn’t feel forced at all; he seemed to share in our joy. Thank you for making it such a wonderful anniversary. We will definitely visit again next year. Thank you very much for your sincere hospitality.

    As expected of the Imperial Hotel

    The rates at this Hotel have been high lately, so it was my first stay in a few years. This time, I booked an affordable Plan on IKYU and stayed here. I had a very comfortable stay. The shuttle bus to Osaka Station is also convenient. However, if you want to take the train, you’ll need to walk a bit to Sakuranomiya Station. I used to stay almost every month, but I was asked at the front desk, “Is this your first time?”—understandable, but still a little disappointing. The Room has luxurious amenities and even a bathroom scale, which is quite rare these days.

    I stayed here with my family for the first time on my birthday. This Hotel has beautifully turned its 30-year history into a real strength, and I’m glad we chose to stay. The Imperial Floor was also a relaxing space where we could unwind at our leisure.

    Multiple Night Stay

    I stayed for three nights in Osaka for a meeting. The meeting was only in the morning, so I had free time in the afternoon and used the pool in Osaka for the first time (I have used one several times in Tokyo). It was excellent. 　My Room had a great view overlooking the river. I took a walk using the jogging map provided in the Room, and Osaka Castle was closer than I expected. On the way, I also passed by the Mint Bureau, famous for its cherry blossom tunnel. 　For breakfast, I went to Nadaman and Couvert, a casual restaurant on the lobby floor. At Nadaman, it was nice to be able to choose roast beef or grilled salmon as the main dish. At Couvert, I had previously tried a set meal there, but this time I felt that at Imperial Hotel, the buffet is definitely the best choice. I was impressed when the chef carved a large roast ham for me. 　On my last day it rained heavily, and I didn’t feel like going to my meeting with my luggage, so I requested a late check-out and returned to Hotel after the meeting to check out. The process was smooth and very helpful. Next month, I already have a Reservation at Imperial Hotel Kyoto. I'm looking forward to it.

    It was very disappointing.

    I rarely write a Review, but I’m posting because this stay was extremely unpleasant. The Room was spacious, which was nice, but the washroom area was cramped, and the toilet paper holder was awkwardly placed and inconvenient. The view from the window was wonderful. We had teppanyaki for dinner and a buffet for breakfast; both were average—neither particularly good nor bad. What disappointed me most was the staff’s response. I was asleep at night when repeated ringing of the doorbell woke me up—it was frightening. When I called the front desk to report it, they said, “We will check. Please wait in your Room.” They told me to wait, and although I was tired, I couldn’t go back to sleep and just waited. After a while they called back and said, “It seems another guest went to the wrong Room.” That may be true, but their attitude came across as if they were saying it wasn’t our fault and we had no responsibility—which left me stunned. You could say you go to a Hotel to sleep, yet my sleep was disturbed and it made me very uncomfortable. The incident itself may have been another guest’s mistake, so if the follow-up had been handled properly afterward, I could have accepted it as unavoidable. However, even at checkout they processed everything as if nothing had happened. Just when I started to wonder whether no one had even reported it internally until then—only at the very end did someone finally say something like, “It seems another guest went to your Room by mistake last night…” in a detached way. At a Hotel of this level, even for something minor that happens during a stay, you would normally receive an immediate apology at checkout—“We are sorry for the inconvenience”—to the point where you almost feel apologetic yourself. But at Imperial Hotel (Teikoku Hotel), not only were we inconvenienced; we were made even more uncomfortable. I will never stay here again.

    An Elegant Moment

    It was a wonderful Hotel that truly reflected the elegance befitting the Imperial Hotel. Check-in was available from 2:00 PM, and we fully enjoyed our stay, including a relaxing time in the club lounge. We had Chinese cuisine for dinner at the Hotel, and it was excellent. The service was outstanding with warm smiles and attentive professionalism, and the Room amenities were well stocked—this is a reassuring Hotel where we would definitely like to stay again.

    I was somewhat dissatisfied.

    No matter when I visit, the consistently reliable service makes me feel safe and at ease—this is the place in Nikko. This time, after changing my Plan, the room was on the opposite side instead of the river side. I was told it could be changed, but I left it as it was. I also chose a Japanese breakfast, but the menu is always the same every time I visit—perhaps some variety would be nice.

    As it was the 30th anniversary, the guest rooms and Facility did not have the latest features, but I was able to relax comfortably without any issues. However, there were no basic amenities for women (sachet type), and when I asked at the front desk, they provided exactly one set (isn’t there usually one for the next morning as well?). Having two razors didn’t really make sense either. For breakfast, I had Nadaman’s Japanese set meal, but I was disappointed because the rice in the ohitsu wasn’t tasty. Maybe my expectations were a bit too high.

    A relaxing Hotel

    What I liked most was that the bathroom is not separated into a bathtub area and a shower booth. At places like the Okura, there is sometimes a shower room opposite the bathtub, but here it’s more like a home bathroom, with a washing area right next to the tub. Also, there is a riverside promenade where you can enjoy a walk. I was also surprised to find tennis courts. It wouldn’t be unusual in Hakone or Karuizawa, but it felt rare for central Osaka. Next time, I’d love to stay with my family and enjoy playing tennis. One downside was that the first shuttle bus starts at 10:00. I would appreciate it if it started at least at 9:00. The breakfast buffet pastries (croissants) were a bit disappointing. The Japanese breakfast at Nadaman was delicious, but it was disappointing that the miso soup was the same every day. At other hotels you can choose red miso, white miso, or blended miso, and even the ingredients change daily. That was also somewhat disappointing. Still, I found it to be a comfortable Hotel and would like to visit again next time.

    Professional hospitality service

    We recently stayed at the Imperial Hotel Osaka with our children for the first time in a while to celebrate a special occasion. From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were wonderful, and the Room was impeccably clean. I’m impressed every time. Their thoughtful hospitality for our celebration made it an outstanding Hotel where guests can truly feel comfortable throughout their stay.
