    Exceptional Hospitality

    I stayed here during my trip for a live event at PayPay Dome. To my surprise, the room I reserved was upgraded, and I was able to stay in a room twice the size, which was truly impressive! Since it is directly connected to the station, I could reach the hotel without getting wet. The room was impeccably clean and very tidy. The amenities were also well-stocked, which was especially appreciated by women. As expected from Okura, you can experience top-notch hospitality. I would love to stay here again when visiting Fukuoka!

    The hospitality is excellent.

    We stayed for two nights for our child's university entrance exam. Upon check-in, the staff recognized that we were here for the exam and kindly offered warm words of encouragement throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with an air purifier. The desk was just the right size for studying, and they even provided a lamp upon request. Since our room was away from the elevator hall, there was no noise from the hallway, allowing us to sleep soundly at night. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, enabling my child to choose familiar items (of course with higher quality), which helped them feel in top condition on exam day. Thanks to this wonderful experience and support, my child successfully passed their exam. We are truly glad we chose this accommodation. Thank you very much!

    Hospitality Rooted in Tradition

    This was my first visit to Hakata and my first stay at Hotel Okura Fukuoka. The hotel exudes the nostalgic charm and comforting tradition of Okura, creating a serene atmosphere. While the Toranomon location has been rebuilt into an impressive structure, I felt something was lost in the process, leaving me a bit wistful. However, I found that essence here. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality.

    I would like to use it again.

    I stayed for a show at Hakataza. I was very satisfied with everything. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was very delicious. I will use it again.

    Noise

    This is one of the top-class Hotels in Fukuoka, but it is concerning that noise leaks from the walls and doors of the Room, and noises from neighboring Rooms can be heard. Other services are provided at a level befitting a top-class Hotel. If soundproofing measures were improved, I believe guests could enjoy a more comfortable and restful stay.

    It is a comfortable Hotel.

    The location is convenient for subway travel and dining, so I use it occasionally. This time, it was for a concert at the dome. The compact Room is comfortable and I like it. Regarding breakfast, it's disappointing that the Japanese-style meal on the second floor has been replaced with only a buffet. There was a wait time, and even when I asked the staff clearing tables for coffee service, I had to wait a long time before they came on the second request. Next time, I'll allow more time when using this service.

    Simply wonderful

    I used it again after a long time. The stable quality is impressive. Although some aging is unavoidable, it is clean and not bothersome. The breakfast is also of a high level, just like in Tokyo and Kobe, and I am very satisfied. In terms of overall strength, isn't it the best in Fukuoka? I will use it again.     Disappointing

    I treated myself to a solo staycation as a reward. I was particularly looking forward to the pool and sauna, but unfortunately, it coincided with the monthly maintenance day, so I couldn't use them. It was my fault for not checking in advance, but I found out on the website two days prior. If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have chosen Okura. Starting off like this left me feeling disappointed at check-in. As an IKYU Diamond Member, there is a room upgrade benefit; however, it was declined due to full occupancy. While this depends on availability and is understandable, the front desk staff's curt response left me slightly disheartened. Next up was breakfast which I had high hopes for—but there wasn’t anything noteworthy about it. There wasn’t much that appealed to me; they did have ramen in true Hakata style but I didn’t try it. The mizutaki (chicken hot pot) consisted of small portions of chicken, cabbage, and green onions served lukewarm—it made me question if this could even be called mizutaki? It felt like there should have been more substantial dishes as main options. While aging facilities are inevitable in the room itself, everything felt rather formalized and lacking warmth or hospitality—which was disappointing overall.

    The Exceptional Okura Quality

    I stayed for one night. The Facility is a bit old, but it is well-cleaned. The quality of service was also satisfactory. What was disappointing was the breakfast Camellia corner—being neither asked "coffee or tea" nor attended to. It was the first time I experienced such a thing anywhere in the world.

    Convenient and Comfortable

    Directly connected to Nakasu-Kawabata Station and close to the shopping street, the location is excellent. Although the large number of guest rooms made the walk from the elevator to the Room feel a bit far, the standard Room had wide, bright windows, well-equipped amenities, and provided a comfortable stay.

    The staff is excellent, but the Facility is outdated.

    The staff and managers at the front desk and restaurant were truly first-class, as expected from Okura. It was a service with Japanese attention to detail. However, unfortunately, the room's WIFI connection was poor, and although I stayed for work, it significantly hindered the preparation of presentation materials. I have stayed at hotels of the same level or higher in Japan before, but this was the first time experiencing such an issue. Although it is overseas, perhaps it is because various things are old. The Chinese restaurant was also delicious, and the service was excellent. The room was cleanly maintained.

    The service at the long-established Hotel was perfect.

    The spaciousness of the lobby, the greetings from the hotel staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the amenities were all perfect. The room's TV was multimedia-compatible, and it was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The location is also excellent and wonderful. I would choose this property again when staying in Fukuoka.

    It was a comfortable time.

    I have been taken care of for the past few years. They always provide comfortable service whenever I visit. It is very convenient as it is very close to the restaurant where I want to have dinner. It is a wonderful Hotel where I want to stay forever.

    Stays in Fukuoka is Okura

    Thank you for your hospitality. I stayed this time because there was a concert. I was surprised by the unexpected surprise gift!     The well-maintained ...

    The well-maintained and comfortable Room, along with the attentive and thorough hospitality, ensured a reassuring stay, just like at other Okura properties. This was my first time in Fukuoka, but it was conveniently located just two subway stations from Hakata Station, close to Nakasu, and only one station to Tenjin.

    Thank you for the comfortable time.

    I left my luggage before check-in and went to Tenjin. It's very convenient to have a Hotel located in a place where you can walk and enjoy the illuminations in both Nakasu and Tenjin. The next day, I walked through Kawabata Shopping Street to Kushida Shrine. The room, as well as the entire Hotel, was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with both Japanese and Western options, and the use of good tableware made it feel luxurious. I was very pleased that they provided plenty of good quality vegetables and fruits, even though they are expensive now.

    After all, Osai is the best!

    This time, we stayed in a slightly better twin, so the Facility and Room, including soundproofing, were great. Also, the hospitality from check-in to check-out was excellent. The breakfast was delicious, and my partner, who usually doesn't eat egg dishes, happily ate the omelet. I was unprepared for not receiving a non-slip mat for the bath. Thank you very much.

    The moment I entered...

    The moment I entered the lobby at check-in, I strongly noticed the smell of Febreze. Dust in the corners of the Room is quite noticeable. When the sunlight hits, you can see the dust piled up whitely.

    I stayed for a piano concert at Fukuoka Symphony Hall. The hotel staff were very pleasant and made me feel at ease. The room is also clean. The breakfast was delicious, and I wished I could have enjoyed it more leisurely. What concerned me was the smell of the pajamas in the room... The odor of aging around the neck and front chest area was unpleasant. Is it inevitable for the ingrained smell to remain...?

    Okura Quality

    This is my regular Stays in Fukuoka. I always use it, and I'm impressed by the Okura quality, which truly understands what is expected from a Hotel, such as restrained services and collaboration with Park Valley. What I find amazing is that not only the Japanese staff but also the foreign staff thoroughly embody Okura's service. Hotels are gradually increasing indiscriminately, but I believe that in the end, analog services will make the difference. In Fukuoka, Okura is the only choice without a doubt.

    A hotel better than expected

    I used it for the first time. It was very smooth with just one subway ride from Hakata. Since I arrived a little early, I left my luggage and explored the area around the Hotel before checking in. A lovely Hotelier with a wonderful smile attended me to my Room, and I took a breather. After that, I wanted to go somewhere, so I asked the concierge in the lobby about how to get to my destination. After checking the map and waiting for about 10 minutes, they printed several ways to get there, including timetables, which was a very thoughtful guide. I was moved by the best smiles and behavior of everyone at the front desk, Hotelier, and concierge. Thank you very much.

    As expected of Okura.

    I stayed after several years. Above all, the hospitality of the staff was wonderful. Everyone greeted me with a lovely smile, making my stay pleasant. The room was well-cleaned, and the amenities were good, allowing me to relax. The breakfast buffet at Camellia had a wide variety, with a good balance of Hakata specialties and familiar dishes, and it was so delicious that I ended up eating too much. Thank you very much.
