Notice from the Accommodation

  • For your summer trip to Matsumoto

    Thank you for your interest.
    This is Sakae-no-Yu Ryokan.

    Season’s greetings for midsummer.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the recent earthquake.
We sincerely pray that those impacted will be able to return to peaceful everyday life as soon as possible.

Matsumoto has been experiencing hot days without exception, but the breeze in the early morning and evening eases the heat and feels pleasant.
Perhaps even the cicadas, as if avoiding the heat, seem to start singing a little earlier than usual.

In this season, you may choose to head out to cooler high-altitude spots such as Kamikochi or Utsukushigahara Highlands,
or enjoy an evening stroll while watching “Matsumoto Bonbon,” held in central Matsumoto City this weekend.
There are many ways to enjoy summer in Shinshu Matsumoto.

When you visit Matsumoto, we warmly invite you to spend a relaxing time at our Ryokan.
Surrounded by nature, soothed by our Onsen, and savoring our cuisine, you can fully enjoy a truly restful stay.

We also offer a carefully selected range of local sake to enjoy with your meal, which has been very well received.
Please be sure to try it paired with our dishes.

We still have some Rooms available on certain dates during the Obon holiday period.
We look forward to welcoming you.
