Founded in 1877 (Meiji 10), this historic sake brewery continued brewing Mitoyo City’s renowned local sake “Mitoyo Tsuru” in Kagawa until it closed in 2005. The former lodging where the brewers once lived while dedicating themselves to sake-making has been renovated and reborn as a private, whole-building rental Accommodation offering an immersive brewery experience. Inside, you will still find the large cauldron once used for brewing, the brewing water, and architectural details that reflect the craftsmen’s skills. In a space preserved with its original atmosphere, you can relax while experiencing the history and culture of the brewery. Enjoy a private bath and reclining bath created from the very cauldron once used to steam sake rice, along with a private sauna that captures the unique character of a sake brewery. An all-inclusive service featuring four carefully selected local sakes from Kagawa (four 720 ml bottles) is also available. Refresh in the sauna, unwind in the cauldron bath, and savor fine sake—experience a truly luxurious stay found only at a brewery. “TOJI” refers to the master craftsman who oversees sake-making.
