What if there was a beach in Paris, France... That idea inspired the creation of THE HOUSE Koajiro marina suite. Location: "Koajiro, Miura City." Koajiro is located in the Aburatsubo area, a well-known villa district in Miura City. The transparency of the sea here is truly remarkable. You can always see yachts anchored, gracefully enjoying the beauty of the sea. Standing atop the hill of Koajiro is THE HOUSE Koajiro marina suite. This is an exceptionally luxurious building, even among the other THE HOUSE properties. The concept is "What if PARIS had a beach?" Originally, this building was constructed with exposed concrete. Everything about it was stylish, masculine, simple, and modern. It resembled a grand mansion you might find in Tokyo's Setagaya area. That was the image of the building. We wondered if we could add more natural, gentle, and resort-like relaxing elements to this symbol of "luxury" in a capitalist sense. What came to mind was the beach project held along the Seine River in Paris. A white sandy beach suddenly appears amidst the classic cityscape. It’s a space where modernity, classic charm, and resort vibes harmonize beautifully, creating an exciting and enchanting atmosphere! That’s where the concept began. This property is limited to three groups per day. Each of the three Rooms offers a unique way to enjoy your stay. Who will you go with? What will you do? What kind of time will you spend? You can choose based on these questions. Please enjoy a new luxurious experience in Koajiro.

  • A Long-Awaited Family Vacation

    We visited to enjoy a family vacation. THE HOUSE has wonderful taste.From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love with the ocean view stretching across the entire window.We were also captivated by the sight of Mt. Fuji glowing in the sunset, and couldn’t stop taking photos.There was an original photo book casually placed there, and when we opened it, inspiring words appeared,which conveyed the lovely thoughts behind this place when it was built.Since it was Golden Week, Aburatsubo and Misaki Port were crowded,but coming back felt like returning to a secluded private villa where we could truly restand enjoy the quiet.Also, at a Hotel or Ryokan you can feel slightly rushed about breakfast times,so it was great to spend relaxed “THE HOUSE time” without that.Our dog could also stretch out and seemed very happy.Thank you very much.

  • It was a wonderful accommodation.

    Our family of four stayed for one night. We had all been looking forward to this day. When we arrived at the Hotel, the staff welcomed us with smiles and showed us to our Room, which made us even more excited. The Room was larger than it looked in the photos, and it was furnished with tasteful pieces such as a sofa, table, and artwork—we were thrilled.Outside the window were a pool, a jacuzzi, and a BBQ grill with a table and chairs. They also explained how to use everything and told us there was a private beach down the stairs leading to the sea. After lunch, we went down to the beach right away. The outdoor stairs were spiral stairs, so it was a little scary going down while looking below, but the water at the beach was very clear, and both our dog and kids had an amazing time playing.Although it was described as a private beach, there were a few other tourists there.The pool felt a bit early for the season—it was cold enough that we could only manage up to waist depth and didn’t really swim. Instead, we enjoyed the jacuzzi since it had warm water; we got in with our kids in swimsuits using float rings. It truly felt like an escape from everyday life, and we were glad we came.All meals were stocked in the refrigerator; we cooked them ourselves and enjoyed everything deliciously. It was also great to see squirrels coming down from the mountain. The sunset was beautiful, and we could clearly see Mt. Fuji’s silhouette as well.There was a sign saying only guests may enter the private beach area and that non-guests would be reported if they entered; however, I did wonder about security—there are huge windows (they do lock), but that point concerned me slightly.Overall, this is an Accommodation where we’d love to stay again as a family. Thank you very much to everyone at “the house” for taking care of us over these two days. It cost less than taking our family to Disneyland, plus we got to enjoy nature—an extremely satisfying trip for us all.

  • Deck under the spiral staircase of Pool and Cave

    Vacation Rental / Typhoons / Falling Rocks, etc.

    The rockfall issue on the spiral staircase of the Pool and Cave Suite has been fully addressed. Thank you very much for your patience. We have reinforced the rockfall protection compared to before and extended the deck forward as much as possible to help reduce the chance of being hit, so you can enjoy your stay more comfortably.
    The spiral staircase itself has a significant height difference, so going down and up can be challenging, but we hope you will make use of it. Please note that we cannot completely control rockfall, so use is at your own risk.

    This Accommodation is not a Hotel or Ryokan; it is a Vacation Rental. As this is a Room rental, after we explain the Room at check-in, there are no concierge or similar services. Guests seeking Hotel-style services may not be satisfied; please refrain from making a Reservation. Also, if you plan to use all three Rooms, separate Reservations are required for each Room. Please note that this is not an entire-building rental.

    Facilities and equipment vary by Room. After completing your Reservation, please be sure to read the FAQ URL provided in our email regarding Facility details, how to use them, amenities (we provide only essential items), and nearby supermarkets. If you have any questions after completing your Reservation, we can assist by email or phone.

    As we are located directly in front of the ocean, we perform ongoing maintenance against salt damage; however,
    in case of Facility issues caused by disasters such as strong winds, heavy rain, or typhoons,
    restoration may not be possible immediately.
    In such cases, we may have no choice but to cancel the Reservation.
    We may offer guidance to other affiliated Accommodations or nearby Accommodations,
    or ask you to change your dates.
    Unlike typical Hotels, we have only three Rooms and therefore no alternative Rooms available.
    If use of the Facility becomes impossible due to such force majeure circumstances,
    please understand in advance that we cannot provide compensation for damages under any circumstances.

    Regarding the decision to remove the sauna facilities throughout the entire building

    Use of the poolside sauna at the Pool and Cave Suite, as well as the sauna at the Roof TOP LOUNGE (available depending on the Plan), has been suspended due to an urgent recall of the sauna heater. We will remove the units within this month and review the Facility setup.

    We have already contacted guests with existing Reservations. We appreciate your understanding if you are making a new Reservation.

    The Roof TOP LOUNGE view bath and BBQ facilities remain available as usual. If you wish to use BBQ, please choose a BBQ-included Plan or request it as an optional add-on. (For Pool and Cave Suite guests, BBQ equipment can be added as an option on the terrace. If you select a Plan that includes ingredients, no optional add-on is required.)

The only shared area is the courtyard. If three groups are checking in or out at the same time, you may be asked to wait in your Room or in your car. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. As a COVID-19 precaution, we ask all guests to have their temperature checked and use alcohol hand sanitizer upon entering. We also disinfect with alcohol during cleaning.

By car: Exit the Miura-Jukan Road at Hayashi Interchange and head toward Aburatsubo. Turn right shortly before the former Aburatsubo Marine Park. (Landmark: a small café called “IS Cafe” on the right, with a large parking lot just before it. Turn right onto the road just before the parking lot, then turn left at the end of the road.)

By public transportation: From Keikyu Misakiguchi Station, take a bus bound for Aburatsubo and get off at “Aburatsubo.” It is a 3-minute walk from there.
