THE HOUSE Koajiro Marina Suite

We visited to enjoy a family vacation. THE HOUSE has wonderful taste.From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love with the ocean view stretching across the entire window.We were also captivated by the sight of Mt. Fuji glowing in the sunset, and couldn’t stop taking photos.There was an original photo book casually placed there, and when we opened it, inspiring words appeared,which conveyed the lovely thoughts behind this place when it was built.Since it was Golden Week, Aburatsubo and Misaki Port were crowded,but coming back felt like returning to a secluded private villa where we could truly restand enjoy the quiet.Also, at a Hotel or Ryokan you can feel slightly rushed about breakfast times,so it was great to spend relaxed “THE HOUSE time” without that.Our dog could also stretch out and seemed very happy.Thank you very much.

Our family of four stayed for one night. We had all been looking forward to this day. When we arrived at the Hotel, the staff welcomed us with smiles and showed us to our Room, which made us even more excited. The Room was larger than it looked in the photos, and it was furnished with tasteful pieces such as a sofa, table, and artwork—we were thrilled.Outside the window were a pool, a jacuzzi, and a BBQ grill with a table and chairs. They also explained how to use everything and told us there was a private beach down the stairs leading to the sea. After lunch, we went down to the beach right away. The outdoor stairs were spiral stairs, so it was a little scary going down while looking below, but the water at the beach was very clear, and both our dog and kids had an amazing time playing.Although it was described as a private beach, there were a few other tourists there.The pool felt a bit early for the season—it was cold enough that we could only manage up to waist depth and didn’t really swim. Instead, we enjoyed the jacuzzi since it had warm water; we got in with our kids in swimsuits using float rings. It truly felt like an escape from everyday life, and we were glad we came.All meals were stocked in the refrigerator; we cooked them ourselves and enjoyed everything deliciously. It was also great to see squirrels coming down from the mountain. The sunset was beautiful, and we could clearly see Mt. Fuji’s silhouette as well.There was a sign saying only guests may enter the private beach area and that non-guests would be reported if they entered; however, I did wonder about security—there are huge windows (they do lock), but that point concerned me slightly.Overall, this is an Accommodation where we’d love to stay again as a family. Thank you very much to everyone at “the house” for taking care of us over these two days. It cost less than taking our family to Disneyland, plus we got to enjoy nature—an extremely satisfying trip for us all.
