THE HIRAMATSU HOTELS & RESORTS Atami
Shizuoka Prefecture/AtamiA luxury “stay-and-dine” retreat with just 13 rooms, set in a scenic location.
A Luxurious Gourmet Journey by Hiramatsu― Atami, a land blessed with the rich nature brought by Sagami Bay. Known for its vast ocean views, mild climate, and exceptional hot spring waters, Atami has flourished as a healing retreat and remains one of Japan's premier summer resorts loved by many historical figures and literary greats. Nestled in this scenic area with panoramic views of Hatsushima Island, the Izu Peninsula, Oshima Island, Miura Peninsula, and Boso Peninsula is Hiramatsu's "European Ryokan." Welcoming you is an exquisite sukiya-style architecture crafted by modern master artisan Koichi Kinoshita. Indulge in fresh seafood nurtured by Sagami Bay while enjoying a harmonious blend of Japanese and European aesthetics for an elegant and luxurious experience.
This was our second stay at a Hiramatsu Accommodation, and we were able to relax and unwind. As always, the staff’s service level is exceptionally high. It was our first time staying in Atami, and it exceeded our expectations. When we arrived, so many staff members welcomed us that we were genuinely moved—I still don’t know how they knew exactly when we would arrive. We weren’t asked about checkout or taxi arrangements until the next morning, so we could take our time without feeling rushed. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful attention to detail. We would love to stay again.
Mixmax 6/11/2026We had planned to visit Hiramatsu in Okinawa this time, but our flight was canceled due to a typhoon. Although it was a last-minute Reservation made the day before, we quickly changed our plans to Atami. I had stayed in Atami once about eight years ago, and every time I visit, the reason I can enjoy such a comfortable stay is thanks to the wonderful hospitality of all the staff. A staff member who had transferred from Okinawa to Atami said, “It’s a shame about Okinawa this time,” which made me feel relieved and truly happy. The female manager also remembered our conversation from eight years ago. I was feeling a bit down about not being able to go to Okinawa, but the kindness of everyone on the team comforted me, and it became another great trip. I truly felt that Hiramatsu properties across The whole country offer outstanding service and teamwork because the management philosophy is exceptional.
