    Stress-free service was provided.

    Luggage storage and check-in were handled very smoothly. Despite the last-minute request, they kindly arranged for the room I reserved separately from my wife to be next to hers. Check-out was stress-free with the automated process.

    It was a same-day reservation, but it was comfortable.

    Same-day Reservation due to late-night overtime and plans the next morning. The Room was upgraded, providing a comfortable stay. The Facility was so well-equipped that it felt like a waste to just eat convenience store food, take a bath, and sleep. Next time, I’d like to stay longer and enjoy it more.

    I always stay here when visiting Tokyo. The hotel is directly connected to the station, making it very convenient. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, which is great. The hotel's service is excellent, and the Room cleaning is thorough.     A Long-Awaited Stay

    Convenient and affordable. Excellent front desk staff.

    Conveniently located near the station, it was helpful to be able to move around without getting wet even on a rainy day. There is also a convenience store right in front. The politeness of the front desk staff was particularly impressive. Both during check-in and check-out, handled by different staff members, their attention to detail and subtle care were remarkable.

    Overnight Stay for Wedding Reception

    My wife and I stayed here for the first time. The accommodation is conveniently located near Shinagawa Station on the Shinkansen line, with easy access to Shibuya and Shinjuku via the Yamanote Line, and about 15 minutes to Harajuku, where our wedding reception venue was located. It’s just a 3-minute walk from the second-floor entrance of Osaki Station, making access to the hotel excellent. Previously, we used a business hotel near Shinagawa Station, but this accommodation was clean and comfortable with prices comparable to business hotels. We would love to stay here again for both business and leisure in the future.

    I used the day-use service. The internet connection was excellent, allowing me to work comfortably. I had a meeting at night, and it was helpful that I could use the room until late hours.

    It was my first time in Shinagawa.

    This time, I used IKYU.com again. Previously, when staying in Tokyo, I stayed in areas like Odaiba or Asakusa, but this was my first time in Shinagawa. First of all, there are a few points that caught my attention. The first is the unit bath or rather the toilet in the room; it has a slight odor. Secondly, though it seems to be a structural issue, there is quite a lot of noise from water flowing. I believe it's the sound of water being used in other rooms, but it echoes significantly and creates loud noises at night. While it's difficult to expect perfection in everything, it would be great if these issues could be improved. On the other hand, as for positive aspects: all staff members were polite and kind; I truly admire their professionalism. Both at reception and during dinner service, their courteous yet unobtrusive approach was wonderful and much appreciated. If possible, I would like to stay here again!

    Chosen for its convenience.

    I booked a Hotel because I couldn't catch the return bullet train after watching a ballet performance at night. The Room was old, and the constant sound of running water was a bit concerning, but it was clean and had all the basic Facilities needed without any issues. The female staff member from England at the reception provided excellent service with great politeness, and her hard work left a strong impression on me. The customer service deserves five stars. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The cherry blossoms along Meguro River are absolutely stunning.

    This is my fourth stay at this Hotel. I had never seen the cherry blossoms along Meguro River, so I checked for available rooms multiple times and made a Reservation. At check-in, I was told my Room had been upgraded, and when I entered, it was the spacious Room I stayed in during my first visit—truly impressive. The Room faced Meguro River, offering a view of the cherry blossoms—thank you! The Baumkuchen included is a great deal. I hope for a security box to be added to the Room. It would also be nice if breakfast offered slightly more variety.

    The front desk staff provided excellent service.

    The female staff at the front desk during the day provided very smooth, accurate, and prompt service, making the check-in process pleasant. It was a complete contrast to my previous experience and truly excellent.

    Close to the station with friendly service

    The location was convenient, within 30 minutes of Tokyo Big Sight. The 1-minute walk from the station was very appealing. There were a supermarket, drugstore, and 100-yen shop nearby, so I had no inconveniences. The only downside was that the humidifier already had water in it and the drawer handles felt sticky. Other than that, everything was perfect!

    One more needed.

    Stayed after a month, still very satisfied. Conveniently located within 5 minutes walking distance to the Yamanote Line without getting wet even on rainy days. Affordable accommodation fees for this era, surrounded by a competitive dining area, and the coin laundry is always available. Even if there are minor things missing in the room, it's within an acceptable range. However, the lack of a smoking area is disappointing. While it’s possible to manage with shared spaces, time and capacity restrictions are strict. Would it be possible to place an ashtray from a certain manufacturer in one corner of this spacious property? The food has great hotel-quality flavor; rooms are clean; service is just right; and the location is excellent—making it feel like such a waste not to address this issue. Still, I want to stay again! Thanks to my stays here, I’ve become familiar with staff at the neighboring "L" store!

    Dissatisfied with the location of the power outlets.

    There was no power outlet next to the bed, which was very inconvenient. Since it is a unit bath, there is no space for makeup, so I think it would be convenient to have a mirror on the bedroom side as well.

    About Front Desk Service

    I have major complaints about the check-in process this time. During this check-in, there was only one woman at the front desk. She was attending to an Asian customer before me for a relatively long time without finishing. A cloakroom staff member came to the front desk but did not say anything to me who was waiting, only saying "If you have luggage, please come here," which is my first point of criticism. After quite a wait, just as it was finally my turn to check in, a male staff member emerged from the back and started assisting customers behind me with two people on duty. Hey! Why didn't he come out when I was waiting? That's my second point of criticism. Then I checked in without even an apology from the female staff for keeping me waiting—my third point of criticism. To top it off, I was told that the touch panel system wasn't working and had to sign on paper for check-in—my fourth point of criticism. Isn't this too much? The front desk at New Otani Inn Tokyo (Nyuu Ootani In Toukyou). Or rather, is New Otani Inn's service level really just like this? Even if it's a Business Hotel charging tens of thousands of yen, shouldn't they provide at least standard customer service as part of their business? This level seems more like that of a Business Hotel costing only several thousand yen. It's terrible! Immediate improvement needed!!!!!!

    Stayed for the first time

    The location of the Hotel was good as it was close to the station, but the Room felt old, narrow, and cramped, probably because we stayed with three people. Among these, the most inconvenient was the lack of power outlets around the bed. Even though there were outlets near the TV, there were few in number. Also, it was mentioned in the amenities that nightwear was provided, but I would appreciate it if you could specify that it is a yukata. (If someone dislikes yukata, they can bring their own if it is specified.)

    I had a very comfort...

    I had a very comfortable stay! The facility was renovated and the equipment was new. It was close to the station, and the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely return.

    In the heart of the city's development

    The Room I stayed in had a large table and a household microwave. It was a wonderful memory to gather around the table with everyone bringing their own prepared foods, drinks, and desserts, talking about tomorrow's plans and today's events while enjoying meals, working, or reading. Although I struggled a bit with adjusting the Room's lighting, the interior was clean, very functional, and relaxing. The surrounding area also had convenient shops and a station, and what left a strong impression was how kind and friendly everyone was, both the Hotel staff and the people at the nearby shops, with their wonderful smiles. I had never gotten off at Osaki Station before, but thanks to staying at this Hotel, I got to know the area. I believe this Hotel can become a hub for promoting and developing the charm of the Osaki Station area. I would love to visit again for my next stay. Thank you very much.

    Convenient Hotel near Osaki Station

    We stayed as a couple after the Kabukiza night performance. It is convenient as you can quickly move from Kabukiza to Osaki Station by the Yamanote Line. The next day, Osaki New City shopping mall was right in front of us, so we took a leisurely stroll and explored. The room is stylish. The breakfast was also buffet-style and very satisfying.

    I think it was busy because it was the end of the year, but

    I made a reservation from the hotel's reservation website. I reserved a semi-double room, but since there was availability, they changed it to a double room without any price change. Thank you very much. However, there were some concerns. ① The check-in process took too long. When I lined up at the reception, there were about 10 or 11 people in front of me. Soon, about 3 more people lined up behind me. I was the fourth in line. There were three staff members at the counter. It seemed irregular for a pair of two foreigners, and one staff member joined to assist, making it two staff members handling them. The other staff member seemed to be struggling with the guidance on the parking fees. In the end, it took about 17 or 18 minutes until it was my turn. After signing and confirming the reservation details, I waited another 3 or 4 minutes to receive the reservation benefit amenities. I thought they should have prepared the amenities for today's check-in guests in advance, and at the same time, shouldn't the reception department leader or a senior staff member take over the time-consuming customer explanations and guidance, so at least one person can handle regular operations? I felt that the reason it took so long for one group of customers was due to a lack of such consideration. ② The room's air conditioning did not warm the room, no matter if I selected HI, MID, or LOW. I wouldn't complain if I chose a hotel because it was cheap, but this time, the weekend rate was about twice as high as when I used it before, so it was very disappointing. New Otani (Nyū Ōtani) isn't on the same level as AP ◯, right? ※ I believe it was extremely busy because it was the end of the year ※
