    A comfortable Hotel you'll want to stay at again and again.

    This was my third stay, drawn by the Hotel chef's exquisite cuisine. As with previous visits, I enjoyed the exceptional dishes prepared by the two chefs. Sometimes high expectations can lead to disappointment, but here, surprises and flavors beyond expectations await every time. Featuring rare delicacies like "Aomori Kuraishi Beef" and "Ito Fish," as well as seasonal ingredients from Aomori that are hard to find in Tokyo, the experience is always extraordinary. I was lucky this time as their summer menu had just started. Unfortunately, due to post-surgery recovery, I couldn't enjoy much wine on this visit. However, I'm looking forward to trying the sommelier's carefully selected wines next time. The aroma diffused throughout the front desk area and hallways on each floor created a refreshing atmosphere akin to forest bathing. While some hotels have signature scents at their entrances, it's rare to find one where you can enjoy such pleasant fragrances throughout the entire property. During my stay, I raised a concern about an issue which was thoughtfully addressed at checkout when staff personally followed up with me. This made for a very pleasant departure experience. Having visited 62 countries and staying at hotels monthly—including five-star properties in Tokyo costing over 100,000 yen per night—such attentive service is rare even among luxury accommodations. This is truly a comfortable Hotel that makes you want to return again and again!

    Hotel with Delicious Meals

    The breakfast and dinner are incredibly delicious, making this my third stay. Once again, everything exceeded expectations—the selection of ingredients, flavors, and presentation of every dish were outstanding. The room was just the right size for one person, with well-stocked amenities and user-friendly facilities. The bed was very comfortable as well. I also enjoyed the lounge. However, this time I was disappointed by the poor manners of some inbound guests and their improper use of the onsen (public bath). In the changing area, there were issues such as smartphone usage, guests entering without drying off their bodies leaving wet floors everywhere, and hair scattered around the sink area which was unpleasant to see. I even saw a foreign guest throwing a bath towel into a trash bin; while I informed them that it wasn’t appropriate to do so, it’s difficult for fellow guests to address such matters without risking conflict. Later on, when disposing of trash myself, I found face towels in the garbage bin—this kind of experience was truly upsetting. I decided not to enter until they left and reported smartphone usage in the changing area to staff members; however, their response felt indifferent with just an "Oh." Although they mopped up after being informed about wet floors in the changing area—there wasn’t even an apology like "We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused," which made me feel like a troublesome guest instead. When returning my key card at checkout too—not a single word from them—it left me feeling disappointed because this is one of my favorite accommodations where staff interactions used to make stays more enjoyable before things seemed different now despite many kind employees still present. I believe ensuring safety & comfort should be part-and-parcel responsibilities handled by hotel teams—for instance explaining proper bathing etiquette directly towards inbound visitors rather than relying solely upon signage likely overlooked altogether! Moreover whenever incidents arise providing reassurance through empathetic responses would help alleviate concerns better overall since nobody wants unpleasant experiences during relaxing getaways!

    A Hotel with Distinction

    Stayed at a conveniently located Hotel near the station. I initially thought it was just a slightly stylish Business Hotel, but I could feel the attention to detail in everything—from the items to the meals. I had breakfast, which was freshly prepared with a wide variety of dishes, and it was delicious. The eggs benedict had apple slices inside, offering a soft and gentle flavor while still feeling healthy. The large public bath was spacious and relaxing, and even the Room's private bathroom was very stylish. The view from the window was also fantastic. Perhaps due to station building regulations or the Hotel's concept, there wasn’t a smoking area nearby. One of my companions who smokes mentioned that even a small smoking area within the Hotel would have been appreciated. The staff provided excellent service with kindness and professionalism throughout our stay. I would love to stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality!

    Beyond expectations

    A new hotel opened in July last year. This is a healing hotel that is gentle on the body. The bathing facility is well-equipped, and there are various esthetic and counseling menu options available. Private onsen can also be reserved, and drink services are provided. Morning reservations offer discounted rates. I enjoyed the spacious onsen all to myself. During the counseling session, I received various advice from a professional public health nurse. The hotel is conveniently located above a commercial facility, making shopping and dining easy. I had breakfast at the hotel, which featured an extensive buffet that was very delicious. There was even fresh orange juice you could make yourself by setting whole oranges into a juicer machine. Next time, I plan to create a travel plan centered around staying at this hotel!

    Satisfaction

    It was very beautiful. The lounge offered free drinks, and the guest room had a view of the sea. Very satisfying. The area around the sink was a bit narrow, but that's understandable. If I visit Aomori again, I will definitely stay here!

    Excellent!

    I had a bit of trouble finding the entrance to the Hotel, but the fourth-floor entrance was stylish. From the Room, I could see the station square and harbor, which enhanced my travel mood. As mentioned in Reviews, breakfast was delicious and stylish—I ended up eating too much! I definitely want to stay here again next time.

    A Reward for Yourself

    I stayed alone as a reward for myself. The room was clean, the scent throughout the accommodation was pleasant, I could do yoga, enjoy the onsen, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious, which made it a truly relaxing experience. The wellness counseling allowed me to check my health condition and reflect on my body, making it a valuable self-care stay. The staff maintained an appropriate distance in their service, making it comfortable even for solo travelers. However, I wish there had been amenities like a shower cap or headband available. Overall, I was satisfied and would love to stay again.

    The room is very cle...

    The room is very clean, with every corner spotless, and I felt a great impression of the staff who handled the cleaning. I stayed here to relax, and choosing this hotel was the right decision. I experienced most of the wellness programs, and all were excellent. I learned about my physical condition and areas for improvement, as well as the importance of self-reflection through yoga. The private bath was also amazing—90 minutes passed in no time. Over three days, I had a wonderful holiday. I'll definitely come back to refresh myself again. If possible, it would be great if "towel exchange + trash disposal" could be added as an option for multiple night stays.

    It was relaxing.

    Looking forward to visiting Aomori again. There used to be few beautiful and stylish Hotels in Aomori, so I’ll stay here every time from now on. I received counseling on the 6th floor and got a beauty injection. The price is affordable! Enjoyed a drink at the bar in the evening.

    Stylish and clean

    Thank you for hosting us for several nights. We appreciate the room upgrade, which allowed us to enjoy a very comfortable stay with a great view. The hotel is directly connected to the station, making access convenient. However, during certain times of the day, it can take a while for the elevator to arrive, so it's best to plan ahead. I enjoy Onsen hopping and was looking forward to this experience. For security reasons, guests need to check in at reception each time and receive a password for entry. Electronic lockers are used as well. I brought my mother along on this trip; while she could have gotten used to it eventually, going through reception every time and using electronic lockers seemed challenging for her, so she decided not to visit the Onsen. The hotel is new and clean with a unique concept not found in other hotels in Aomori. It would be helpful if there were systems displaying how crowded the Onsen or other facilities are. We received several drink tickets for the bar but didn’t use them. While we appreciate receiving these as part of Diamond benefits or similar perks, I don’t drink due to work habits. It would be nice if these could be exchanged for other beverages that can be enjoyed in-room instead—this would allow guests like me to relax more comfortably. Overall, the staff were kind and attentive. The two women working at the wellness center during nighttime left a particularly positive impression on me.

    Cozy Hotel

    Arrived at Aomori Station via the Resort Shirakami train from Akita. The location is unbeatable with direct access from the station. It was my first time in Aomori, but the comfort of the hotel made it the most memorable accommodation experience in Aomori. The interior is filled with soothing healing music and aromatherapy, offering breathtaking views and stylishly designed rooms. Upon closer observation, I realized I hadn't fully understood the hotel's concept. If I had known earlier, I would have signed up for yoga—what a regret! The next day we stayed in Misawa, but on our return to this accommodation two days later, my husband was already looking forward to staying again with excitement. This hotel is unique to Aomori Prefecture. We hope it expands across the whole country!

    Directly connected to the station, making it very convenient.

    This was my first time staying here. Although the area around the station is quiet with not much to offer, the hotel itself felt like a different world with its well-equipped facilities such as an onsen, spa, and gym. The bar was cozy, and breakfast featured many unique dishes, making me want to stay again just for the hotel experience. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, which made for a pleasant stay. One small issue: since the elevator is shared with the commercial facility at the station, I had to step outside after checking in at reception before heading to my room. At times there was also quite a wait for the elevator, which made it slightly inconvenient.

    Directly connected to the station and newly opened, I visited for the first time. I reserved a Tourist Room/Triple, and enjoyed a relaxing stay with a great view. However, I couldn't fully relax in the lounge as some foreign guests were speaking loudly during an online meeting. Additionally, in the large public bath area, some foreign guests were talking loudly and using the sink while soaking wet, which made it difficult to unwind. Water pooling in the shower booth (the furthest one) also needs improvement. While I understand that manners can be an issue at any hotel, I hope for stricter reminders regarding proper behavior.

    Highly recommended.

    The location was great, and the view from the restaurant was excellent, making the overall experience satisfying. Although the elevator took a while to arrive and the vegan dishes didn't quite meet expectations, breakfast was delicious, and the new Facility was clean and comfortable.

    The Hotel offered high-quality service.

    The restroom in the lobby offers cloth towels, which was surprising for a Hotel at this price range! The luxurious marble spa provides complimentary towels and bottled water, as well as comfortable pajama-like loungewear that can be worn within the facility—exceeding expectations for its price. I also used the private bath for 50 minutes at 8,800 yen. At first, I thought it might be expensive, but after using it, I found the service to be fully satisfying and worth it. It's unfortunate that it's too far away to visit Aomori again anytime soon. I wish there were a Hotel like this in a more accessible location!

    The parking lot was ...

    The parking lot was disappointing. Due to the pressure from the bus terminal, it was impossible to unload luggage in front of the hotel, and the parking lot was old and narrow, causing various difficulties. The accommodation seemed to have many international guests. I had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed dishes made with ingredients from Aomori, offering a volume and content suitable for middle-aged and older guests. The glass of wine was also quite good.

    The direct connection to the station was very convenient as I was traveling with my elderly mother. It was a lovely Hotel with a sense of cleanliness and attention to detail. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Aomori.

    Extensive Dinner Menu

    Stayed on a Dinner and Breakfast Included Plan for the 2nd and 3rd nights. Dinner was enjoyed at the restaurant within the hotel. The 2nd night featured the regular winter menu, while the 3rd night offered a special Xmas arrangement menu. Completely different menus were provided, showcasing how wonderful this accommodation is—I would love to stay here again. Even with a multiple night stay on a dinner-included plan, you won't get bored and can truly enjoy your meals. The highlight was the main dish from the Xmas arrangement menu: "Aomori Kuraishi Beef Fillet Steak with Truffle and Madeira Wine Sauce," which was absolutely exquisite.

    A Hotel You'll Want to Visit Again and Again

    Stayed on the opening day and was impressed by this wonderful hotel, prompting a return visit in January to enjoy the snowy scenery. Previously stayed using a JR Hotel Members Plan, but this time booked here attracted by a 40% discount. On 1/15, stayed with a breakfast-only plan. On 1/16-17, stayed with a dinner and breakfast included plan. Additionally opted for Wellness Counseling by Public Health Nurse and private Japanese-style onsen rooms "Jade" and "Amber." Through Wellness Counseling, I could understand my physical condition with tests like "Autonomic Nervous System & Vascular Age Check" and "AGEs Test," which are not part of regular health checkups. Enjoyed two private Japanese-style onsens as well as drinks at BAR THE BLUE while chatting with the bartender about Kyunpasu stories—had an enriching staycation experience. *Although local sightseeing was planned, it became impossible due to train suspensions caused by snow. This year’s long-term suspension of the Ou Main Line made both arrival and departure worrisome.* Breakfast was excellent; having tried various hotel breakfasts in Tokyo, I believe this hotel's is the best. The signature dishes—“Triple Truffle Omelet,” “Aomori Strait Salmon Smørrebrød,” and “Eggs Benedict ReLabo Style”—were particularly delicious. For fully Japanese-style onsens, while Amber is more spacious, Jade offers better relaxation for full enjoyment. The staff also recommended Jade; if you’re considering using one, Jade is highly recommended. Being directly connected to Aomori Station makes it easy to move from station to hotel even during snowy winters while carrying suitcases—a major plus point! A personal downside would be that each room has an independent WiFi access point requiring setup every time upon repeat visits. As someone who frequently uses JR East Hotels where shared WiFi networks are available across properties without reconfiguration needed each time—it feels inconvenient here since saved access points become meaningless after checkout when they need deletion too. Despite some dissatisfaction points mentioned above—it remains an outstanding hotel worth revisiting again in summer (already reserved!).

    I enjoyed a drink at...

    I enjoyed a drink at the bar in the evening, and the service was excellent, leaving me very satisfied. Although there were inconveniences such as not being able to find the entrance from the parking lot due to a lack of signage, I would definitely come again. I've grown fond of Aomori!

    The location and Facility were comfortable and excellent. It is also convenient for walking around the city. The bath was clean, and the apple juice in the lounge after bathing was delicious. The Hotel staff's hospitality was fresh yet pleasant. The breakfast bread was delicious, and there were options mindful of low sugar, which was very nice.

    Full of services appreciated by travelers

    A new hotel in Aomori City, my first stay despite being within the prefecture. Opened alongside the renovation of Aomori Station, allowing easy access to the front desk without braving the cold. Having stayed at Jogakura Hotel and Tsuta Onsen before, this experience was pleasantly surprising in a different way. A city hotel equipped with facilities catering to inbound travelers. The breakfast was particularly notable, offering counter-prepared menu options. I ordered Eggs Benedict, and for visitors from abroad, the vibrant yellow of the egg yolk is strikingly bright. With a variety of muesli and nuts available, I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast overlooking Aomori Port. As for the bath, I couldn't confirm if it was an onsen or not; however, it featured a sauna, cold bath, and excellent towel service. My partner also enjoyed morning yoga during our stay. I look forward to visiting again during off-peak times!

    Overall, it is a lovely Facility, but there is room for improvement in customer service.

    This was my second stay at the accommodation. Due to my mistake, I made a reservation for only one night instead of two, which caused some inconvenience. However, the price ended up being about 5,000 yen higher than the original reservation price, and it took a few minutes to provide guidance on how to proceed due to the irregular situation. This made for a slightly disappointing start. Even if it takes time, I believe it would be better if staff could handle such situations with a calm and reassuring attitude. Additionally, on the morning of the second day around 9 AM while I was sleeping, a male cleaning staff member suddenly entered my room. Although he apologized and it seemed like an operational mistake assuming I had checked out already, adding an apology from front desk staff during check-out would leave a better impression as part of hotel service. If the guest were female in this situation, they might have felt fear; therefore, ensuring proper communication within the hotel and offering sincere apologies is highly recommended. The facility itself is very clean and breakfast is among the best in Aomori. I look forward to seeing further improvements in service expertise to make this an even more outstanding hotel.

    Clean and welcoming with a pleasant fragrance

    Upgraded to the top floor for our wedding anniversary. The view from the lounge was beautiful, with two types of apple juice available, allowing us to relax. Despite a short stay due to sightseeing, we enjoyed the Onsen twice—at night and early morning—and had a morning smoothie in the lounge. The bedding was very comfortable, and even foreign staff spoke fluent Japanese. Staying at this class of Hotel in Aomori felt like being in a big city.

    I was amazed by the wonderful Hotel.

    The staff's service, the interior of the hotel, and the lounge exceeded my expectations and surprised me. In particular, the breakfast and dinner were wonderful. I recommend a two-night stay with both one night including two meals like this time, and another night with No Meals Included to enjoy nearby restaurants. It was the best among the hotels I've stayed at recently.

    Hello. I stayed for three nights during the New Year period. First, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the front desk staff for their very kind assistance to foreign guests. However, I was very dissatisfied with the staff's response when I used a private family Onsen at my own expense due to my tattoo over three days and when I requested children's pajamas at the front desk. First of all, despite hanging a cleaning request sign at the entrance of the Room, the cleaning staff only cleaned half of it and many amenities were not replenished. Furthermore, when borrowing children's pajamas previously, staff suddenly collected only pants or separated children's clothes on different days, resulting in having to return to Hotel and request again. Similarly with other pajamas, pants or tops were suddenly missing without understanding what criteria they use for collection nor were they replenished. Additionally, although garbage was sorted into multiple bags as classified waste beforehand; after three days' cleaning only half was done leaving trash uncollected leading me confused by scattered insufficient work done by cleaners which left me perplexed about this situation overall! Moreover no tea or beverages requiring refill had been restocked throughout these 3 days which is quite disappointing indeed! While Room rates may be inexpensive considering family-exclusive Onsen usage fees plus additional breakfast purchases made separately - expecting thorough cleaning isn't an excessive demand from our perspective. However foreign female front desk staff on Onsen floor provided excellent service being very kind even though language barriers existed between us she handled procedures/orders politely giving great impression making us want revisit again! Overall there seems room improvement regarding guestroom cleaner services also if breakfast menu offered more variety choices satisfaction level could have increased further too! We kindly ask you understand this feedback hoping it helps improve future services provided hereafter!
