    First Time in Hiroshima

    I stayed for just one night, but the staff at the front desk and restaurant were very pleasant and accommodating. The Room was clean and comfortable. If I have the chance to visit Hiroshima again, I will definitely stay here. Thank you!

    Clean and Super Convenient Location

    I stayed here for a business trip. The hotel is directly connected to Hiroshima Station, so you can reach it without getting wet in the rain. Although it's on the opposite side of the Shinkansen exit, it's easy to find your way. The station has plenty of shops where you can buy souvenirs, drinks, and meals, making it super convenient. The Room was clean, and the bathroom allowed easy temperature adjustment for hot water. The bathtub was spacious enough to stretch your legs comfortably—it felt just like using my own bath at home! I would love to stay here again for a private trip!

    My first trip to Hir...

    My first trip to Hiroshima, and as someone in their 60s, I decided to challenge myself with a solo journey. I chose Hiroshima this time. I quickly made a Reservation at this Hotel because it was new, conveniently located near the station, and offered an excellent early booking discount. After exiting the Shinkansen gate and heading towards Hiroden, I was greeted by a welcome board inside the doors, which heightened my excitement. Upon arriving on the 7th floor, a staff member immediately approached me and smoothly took care of my luggage. The check-in process was also handled professionally, giving me peace of mind. The Room had no tall buildings nearby obstructing the view—great scenery—and it was impeccably clean to my satisfaction. There was even coffee available in the Room that I enjoyed during my solo trip. Breakfast exceeded Reviews; everything from Beni Madonna oranges to Hiroshima lemons and white rice was absolutely delicious! The variety of drinks impressed me as well—I loved being able to choose from so many options. Even the main dishes were carefully prepared, allowing me to fully enjoy the freedom of traveling alone. The customer service here is top-notch without question! Although strong winds stopped the ropeway up Mount Misen during snowy weather on Miyajima Island—leaving one dream unfulfilled—I will definitely return again someday. When that time comes, without hesitation, I plan to make another Reservation at Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate. Thank you very much for such an enjoyable stay! It would be great if nightwear with pants could be provided as an option too!

    I stayed here for my first visit to Hiroshima. The staff were all very kind and welcoming, which made my stay pleasant. The breakfast was also delicious. If I visit Hiroshima again, I would love to stay here.

    Located inside Hiroshima Station, with a streetcar stop right in front, the location offers excellent transportation access and is conveniently close to shopping facilities, making it perfect for families. Despite the New Year holiday crowds, the Room was quiet and free from noise or voices from other guest rooms, allowing for a relaxing stay. The Room was also very clean. The breakfast buffet was highly satisfying with a wide variety of delicious options—highly recommended. Being situated within the station makes it convenient even after a tiring day of sightseeing, and provides ample time for Shinkansen travel or other transportation the next day. We would love to stay here again!

    The location is excellent! The Facility is basic.

    The location is directly connected to the station, making it extremely convenient, and they kindly stored our luggage before and after check-in, which was greatly appreciated. One disappointing point... Despite being open for less than a year, I felt that more attention could be paid to the cleanliness of the bathroom. Water areas are a concern in any Hotel, but if cleaning is thorough there, it can make the stay much more pleasant. It was a one-night stay, but thank you for your hospitality.

    I would love to stay here again!

    Stayed for one night in a single room with No Meals Included. **Highlights:** - Excellent accessibility: The Hotel entrance is very close to the tram stop. - Friendly and attentive front desk staff. - Separate bathroom and toilet. - Thorough cleaning and tidiness. - Beautiful, calm interior design. - Spacious sink area with a large mirror and white lighting, making it convenient for makeup or getting ready. As a newly opened Hotel, it exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness and comfort. When I dropped off my luggage before check-in, the staff immediately asked if I needed assistance with storing my bags, and during check-out, they kindly inquired if I had any luggage to leave behind. Additionally, the quietness at night—no noise from neighboring rooms or hallways—was particularly impressive for me personally. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Hiroshima!

    Too convenient

    It was a comfortable stay. Just a few minutes from the Room to the JR platform. The tram is also accessible, and you can enjoy meals, tea, and shopping for souvenirs at the station building. Since it’s still newly opened, some staff might not be fully accustomed yet. Having separate bath and toilet areas is a good point. It would be nice if there were baskets in the changing area.

    Great accessibility!

    We stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room for two people. The location, directly connected to Hiroshima Station and right in front of the Hiroden boarding area, was excellent. The room was new and very comfortable. A few points of concern: The bar for hangers in the closet was vertical instead of horizontal, making it easy to access only the clothes at the very front while those at the back were harder to reach and see. Although there is enough width inside the closet, there seemed to be wasted space on both sides, which made it less convenient to use. Additionally, despite having sufficient space near the bathroom door for changing clothes, there were no shelves or stands installed, so we had no choice but to place towels or clothing on the floor, which was inconvenient. A little improvement here would be appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind and helpful—overall a pleasant stay!

    Convenient Accommodation with Exquisite Breakfast

    Stayed for one night with a breakfast-only plan. The hotel is directly connected to the station, making it convenient to bring souvenirs straight to the room. The room, though not very spacious, was stylish, clean, and offered an excellent view for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring a wide variety of local ingredients in every item—drinks, bread, fruits, and more. Just looking at the selection was exciting! Local sake was even available in the morning. It felt like a breakfast packed with Hiroshima's delicious specialties that lifted my spirits from the start of the day. I would definitely love to stay at this hotel again when visiting Hiroshima!

    The room was surprisingly smaller than expected...

    We stayed at this Hotel on the first day of our three-day trip to Hiroshima as a couple. The room felt much smaller than the square meters listed on the site, which was quite surprising. I’ve stayed in many Business Hotels during business trips, so I’m used to small rooms. However, my husband usually stays only in City Hotels and kept saying throughout our stay, "This room is too small; we should have booked a larger room even if it cost more." Honestly, I also regretted not upgrading to a bigger room if it was going to feel this cramped. Perhaps because it was a corner twin Room with many windows or due to its layout where you enter directly into the Room from the entrance, it felt very tight and gave an overwhelming sense of confinement. As travel enthusiasts who stay at numerous Hotels and Ryokans throughout the year, we both agreed that among other City Hotels with similar square meters, this Room stood out as feeling exceptionally cramped. It even made our Ryokan Room in Miyajima on the next day feel incredibly spacious by comparison. That said, being directly connected to the new station building made this Hotel extremely convenient. The staff were all very pleasant and professional, and since everything is still relatively new, every corner of the property was impeccably clean—which we really appreciated. If we stay here again in the future, we’ll definitely book a larger Room even if it costs more!

    Breakfast is a must.

    Directly connected to Hiroshima Station. Staying at a Hotel directly connected to the station is always the best choice. You can immediately drop off your luggage and relax. I was considering a nearby Hotel closer to Peace Park for my visit, but I’m glad I chose this one. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. It featured plenty of local Hiroshima ingredients, and I was extremely satisfied. I envy those who can eat more! It even made me want to plan my next trip around enjoying the breakfast here again. The natural smile and excellent service from the male staff on the floor were also delightful. The Room was new, clean, and perfectly maintained. The spacious bathtub allowed me to stretch out comfortably, and there was even a bath stool in the washing area for added relaxation. However, it was slightly disappointing that static electricity occurred when entering the Room—likely due to the type of carpet in the outer hallway being prone to static buildup.

    Located above the station, making it very convenient.

    The room was clean and new, as the Hotel has just opened, and its location above the station was very convenient. Although I requested a high floor, it could not be accommodated, possibly due to the automated check-in system. I would classify this Hotel as between a City Hotel and a Business Hotel, but the pricing feels somewhat expensive. Check-out was also automated, so I couldn't gauge the level of staff service. It seems that since the summit in Hiroshima, there has been an increase in Western tourists, and both restaurants in town and tourist-oriented pricing appear generally higher than usual.

    Spacious bath!

    When reserving a hotel, I try to choose one with a separate bath to help me relax. Although most hotel baths are small and not as comfortable as home, the bath here was incredibly spacious and surprised me. If I had known it was this large, I would have brought some bath salts! The breakfast menu was also very extensive—there’s no way to try everything in just one day. Even the variety of bread made it feel like a bakery. The bite-sized orange juice was absolutely delicious. The only disappointment was being seated at a narrow two-person table between two large foreign guests in the breakfast restaurant, even though there were plenty of open seats available. When I asked if we could sit elsewhere, they said "Reservation," but as far as I know, breakfast reservations shouldn’t be possible here.

    Stayed from 11/16 for a 2-night stay. Asked questions about nearby facilities at the front desk, but honestly, the response was disappointing. I was told to check the guide for the station building next door, even though I wasn’t familiar with the area... It cast a shadow over my trip to Hiroshima. However, the free drink service until 7 PM was excellent! The variety of alcoholic beverages and snacks was very satisfying. Although there were no additional chocolate options, I enjoyed Hiroshima's local sake as an aperitif for two days. And the breakfast buffet—what an incredible selection! So many types of bread and even Japanese sake available in the morning. Japanese cuisine, seafood, Western dishes—warm ramen, sukiyaki, salmon, roast beef—it was all top-notch! While there were issues such as poor front desk service and multiple instances where no staff were present at restaurant entry points (not sure why), the taste, presentation, and variety of food were absolutely outstanding. The double room on the top floor offered great views and cleanliness with well-stocked amenities; their handling of Multiple Night Stays was also exceptional. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you for your efforts; I hope you continue striving for improvement!

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time staying here. The place was very clean, and the Room was comfortable. However, I noticed that the closet had no partition and was directly in the Room, which caught my attention. Being directly connected to the station made it very convenient. I would like to stay here again and recommend it to my acquaintances. Regarding meals, I wished there were a space to place trays in front of me so I could pick various items more easily. Without such a space, it was particularly difficult to serve miso soup. As for the pillow, I think it could be slightly firmer.

    First Trip to Hirosh...

    First Trip to Hiroshima Directly connected to the station, making it very convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. It was actually my friend's birthday, so I asked if any surprises could be arranged. When we entered the room on the day, there was a birthday card I had requested along with an adorable gift and message card from the hotel! Not only my friend but even I was deeply moved. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and kind words of celebration, making it a truly memorable and enjoyable trip. If I have another chance to visit Hiroshima, I will definitely stay here again!

    Convenient and comfortable.

    Stayed in a Superior Twin Room with a friend for a live event. The wooden flooring in the room was clean and very appealing. Enjoyed the breakfast with a Setouchi vibe, and the staff's service and smiles were excellent. After check-out, they kindly stored our luggage, allowing us to freely explore Minamoa, making it a comfortable trip. Thank you!

    Directly connected to the station, the entrance is easy to find by simply turning left after exiting the central ticket gate (towards the tram platform), making it very convenient even for someone like me who struggles with directions. The room was lovely, with beautiful indirect lighting and a great view from the high floor. Security felt reliable, and with four elevators available, there was no waiting time, making it a comfortable experience. As for concerns, I found that the sink area was only wide enough for one person despite staying as a pair, there was no microwave available, and I personally didn’t like the scent from the diffuser at reception. Other than these points, everything else met expectations without issue. I understand that staff members are busy and deal with guests from various backgrounds; however, I think paying attention to facial expressions when visible to customers at places like reception would be beneficial. While I appreciate their hard work and understand how repetitive questions can be frustrating, it was disappointing to encounter staff who appeared unhappy during both check-in and check-out times.

    Conveniently located near the station, but not cost-effective. Cost-cutting design noticed.

    A new JR-affiliated Hotel has opened at the south exit of the station, offering an excellent location with extremely convenient access to railways. However, for a hotel of this class, there is no human touch in hospitality due to automated check-in and check-out systems. The Room I stayed in was south-facing with a nice corner view, but opening suitcases for two people made it impossible to secure passage to the sink, toilet, and bathroom. Additionally, the floor was not carpeted and seemed designed with maintenance efficiency in mind. This class of Hotel typically offers more personal hospitality interactions; however, it felt like cost-cutting measures were prioritized over guest experience. The luggage storage after check-out also used a self-service wire system that could be remotely operated but lacked any communication or interaction such as "Have a nice day" or "Welcome." The lobby was simple and did not give off the impression of a luxury Hotel. The older Granvia on the north side seems sufficient by comparison.

    The location was excellent.

    Stayed for 3 nights during a trip to Hiroshima. Arrived late at night, but there was a delicious izakaya just a short walk from the first floor, which was very convenient. From the second floor, you can step out directly in front of the Hiroden tram stop, making it extremely accessible. The Room was a corner room, so it was bright and pleasant. The recycled brown slippers were slightly concerning. I appreciated having a smart TV but was disappointed that I couldn't watch TVer. The bathroom was spacious but felt slightly dimly lit. Check-in and check-out could be done via machines, which made it easy and stress-free; however, I feel it might get crowded if someone struggles with using them. It would have been even better if there were room service available—though with so many shops nearby, perhaps it's unnecessary. The price is slightly high due to the location but very convenient; I might stay here again in the future. Thank you for this experience!

    Last year, I had a great stay at Granvia Hiroshima, so this year I stayed at the newly opened South Gate Superior Twin. Directly connected to Hiroshima Station, the room was spacious with a great view from the window, making my stay very comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were separate, allowing me to enjoy a relaxing bath, which was delightful. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and tasted excellent—I ended up eating too much! I would definitely love to visit again.
