    A wonderful and enjoyable stay!

    Thank you very much. I had an enjoyable stay. I was very satisfied with the lounge, pool, breakfast, and lunch. The staff were extremely attentive and provided excellent service. It was unfortunate that the red wine in the lounge was unavailable for four days. It was also disappointing that sparkling water was unavailable for two days.

    Hotel with Stunning Ocean Views

    The front desk features a spacious pool with an open view leading to the sea, offering breathtaking scenery. The view from the room was also absolutely stunning. The room was very spacious, equipped with a kitchen, making it comfortable enough to live in. The drum-style washing machine was incredibly helpful. We also enjoyed the ice cream from the refrigerator—it was delicious. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, all of which were very tasty. However, our experience was somewhat marred by another guest—a young man at a nearby table—who suddenly raised his voice and made loud noises while eating, displaying poor manners that affected our mood negatively. We considered moving seats or addressing it ourselves but refrained as we did not want to cause trouble for the accommodation by potentially creating conflict between guests. While this issue is not the fault of the accommodation itself, we strongly feel that if staff members had noticed and gently addressed this behavior, it could have improved our experience significantly. It’s unfortunate that such thoughts occupied us during what should have been an enjoyable breakfast. Taking time off work to plan and look forward to staying at your hotel is precious time that cannot be regained once lost. While we understand you may not be able to issue strong warnings in such situations due to guest relations concerns, perhaps staff could discreetly and kindly encourage better behavior without drawing attention. We hope that in similar situations in the future, staff will take proactive steps for other guests' comfort as well. Okinawa is entering its peak summer season—please take care of yourselves during this hot weather! Thank you for your hospitality; we truly appreciate it!

    Everything is excell...

    Everything is excellent! The rooms are spacious, all with ocean views, and you can enjoy the sunset from every room. Breakfast is delicious, and the hairdryer provided is ReFa. The facilities and service are also satisfying. If we had to point out something, while the Onsen has a sauna, there is no cold bath. Additionally, as it is located along a national road rather than by the sea, it might not be ideal for those who want to relax by the pool or open their windows to feel the sea breeze and sounds due to noticeable car noise.

    Family trips with children

    The entire accommodation is very clean. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a washing machine, making it convenient to do laundry after sweating, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff at the accommodation were very friendly and welcoming. Although the public bath was slightly small, it included both a sauna and a cold bath, which was satisfying. I only tried the breakfast buffet, but it offered a wide variety of options. While the menu remained the same for three days, it wasn’t repetitive enough to be bothersome. There are both indoor and outdoor pools available. The atmosphere is pleasant enough for not just families but also couples to enjoy their stay. In the evening, there was saxophone music by the poolside, which was delightful. The accommodation fee is reasonable, and I would definitely like to visit again. Although entering through the hotel entrance required making a U-turn due to no right turn access, this wasn’t much of an issue overall.

    Excellent accommodation! Perfect for families with infants (2nd time staying).

    Our 3-night stay with a newborn was incredibly comfortable!! The room was spacious and clean, and the view from the balcony (especially the sunset) helped ease the fatigue of parenting and housework. The location is convenient, with plenty of takeout options nearby (such as poke bowls and tacos) as well as many Okinawa soba restaurants. Access to places like Cape Manzamo and Mission Beach is also close. Breakfast may not be Japan's best, but it featured fresh seafood and unique Okinawan ingredients, making it very delicious. Since we had a newborn with us, we contacted in advance and were provided with baby items such as a stroller, baby bath, baby bed, etc., all free of charge. The amenities and facilities were so well-equipped that it felt almost like being at home. The washer-dryer was quiet and efficient—I wish I had one at home! We would love to stay here again when visiting Okinawa Main Island!

    It was excellent.

    We stayed as a family of five, and the room was spacious enough. Amenities and meals were generously provided, leaving everyone highly satisfied. The pool, bath, and sauna were also excellent. If I had to point out one thing, while the view from the high floor was amazing, the road with heavy traffic in front made noise noticeable when opening the window. However, we understood beforehand that it wasn't beachfront accommodation, so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall, it was fantastic, and we would love to stay again!

    Elegant Family Getaway

    A relaxing trip with three generations of family. The Room and lounge allowed us to enjoy an extraordinary experience every day at a leisurely pace. However, there were two concerns: The attitude and response of the staff. The hospitality felt superficial, below even business standards. Relying on the Hotel's facilities and rankings, there were frequent moments of discomfort, with many areas appearing neglected and not worth the money spent. There was even a situation where a child almost got injured. While the spaciousness of the Room was impeccable and enjoyable, it felt like it lacked added value despite its size.

    Satisfaction guaranteed!

    We stayed for 3 nights on a family trip. The hotel is in a convenient location for sightseeing, offers enjoyable facilities, is relatively new, and suitable for families with small children. Based on its high reviews, we decided to stay here. Overall, we were very satisfied. The room was spacious and clean. We were lucky to have great weather all three days, and the view from the balcony was fantastic. Amenities were fully equipped, including a hairdryer and hair iron. The washing machine with dryer was very helpful; however, it would have been even better if there had been something like a drying rack for clothes that couldn't go in the dryer as we struggled to find places to hang them. The staff were all kind and very pleasant. Breakfast had almost the same menu every day but offered Japanese, Western, and Chinese options so I didn’t get bored of it at all. The seafood bowl was delicious! Next time I’d love to try lunch as well. One concern I noticed was about the ceiling-mounted air conditioner in the breakfast area. There was visible mold and dust accumulated around it (easily noticeable), along with what seemed like water damage causing peeling wallpaper nearby—this made dining under it slightly uncomfortable. I understand maintenance can be challenging during busy periods but addressing this before peak seasons might be beneficial. Despite these points, overall we are satisfied! Our kids also said they want to come back again. When visiting Okinawa next time, we will definitely choose this hotel again! Thank you very much!

    Spacious Room with Excellent Interior Design

    First of all, the Room was clean and incredibly spacious. The pool was also beautiful, and the lobby, restaurant, and entire building were stunning, making for an exciting stay. The staff were very hospitable, truly living up to the Hotel's great reputation. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with unique offerings not seen at other Hotels, making it enjoyable to visit the venue every morning. Considering everything provided, it was quite reasonably priced, and I would definitely love to stay again.

    Unfortunately.

    The Hotel looks amazing, and the service is excellent. However, the door to the bathroom was narrow and wouldn’t close by about 10cm. When I informed the staff, they came to check and kindly changed my Room. Unfortunately, in the new Room as well, the door wouldn’t close properly (my husband, being tall with long legs, kept hitting his toes on it). Additionally, the built-in automatic washing machine had a broken spin-dry function display and didn’t work properly. We had to pack wet laundry into our suitcase for our next destination. We chose this place because it had a washing machine... It would be great if you could check whether all amenities are functioning during Room cleaning.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    If it weren’t for the noise of motorcycles racing along the national highway at night, and if the Hotel were on the ocean side, it would be absolutely perfect. The Hotel isn’t unnecessarily large; it has a souvenir shop, a small indoor pool, and an outdoor pool, which was more than enough. I could relax in the jacuzzi attached to my Room while having a drink, and I used the Onsen every morning and every night—it was wonderful. The food was average, but there were plenty of local specialties and I was satisfied. The in-room refrigerator was free and packed with more drinks than I could finish, and the ice cream was much appreciated. I saw many families with small children, and I think it’s a Hotel where you can bring kids with peace of mind. The teppanyaki restaurant inside the Hotel also had a kind owner who explained each dish, which suited my preferred atmosphere. It felt more like a city hotel than a Resort Hotel. I had a very relaxing stay.

    It was a relaxing Hotel.

    A twin Room on the 10th floor. Very spacious and clean, with Orion Beer and Blue Seal Ice Cream provided as complimentary gifts in the room. The activities were wonderful, including a guitar live performance by the poolside at sunset, which was truly relaxing. Morning yoga with the blue sea, sky, and white clouds offered a great sense of openness. Highly recommended Hotel.

    Very satisfied!

    I decided to stay because the hotel shares the same name as my daughter. I was looking forward to it even before going, and I was very satisfied with all aspects of the facility, including its amenities, hospitality, and service. The children were also extremely happy, and we were able to spend a special day. Thank you very much. It has become my No.1 place that I want to visit again someday.

    Experience the finest hospitality.

    This is my fifth stay at Hiyori Ocean Resort, and I am always amazed by the experience. All rooms offer an unobstructed ocean view, allowing guests to enjoy both sunrise and sunset directly from their Room, which is incredibly soothing. The breakfast is very popular and gets crowded early in the morning. The venue often reaches full capacity shortly after 6 AM, with a waiting list forming. However, I am deeply impressed by the staff's calm demeanor and polite service; they always greet guests with a smile despite the busy atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again!

    Thank you to the front desk staff for kindly accommodating changes to our dinner. We were also delighted when, during the teppanyaki dinner, small rice balls were made from the leftover rice for our child. After returning to the room, they happily enjoyed eating them. The moment when a staff member held hands with our child and guided us to the sofa seating for the birthday cake was truly memorable as our child walked joyfully. We have stayed here many times before and have used this accommodation for special occasions like first meals and birthdays for our child, always having a wonderful time. We look forward to staying again!

    The facility is excellent, but...

    The Facility is new and clean, with an excellent pool, large bath, and sauna. However, the service has many areas for improvement, and the hospitality is quite weak compared to the physical aspects. We hope it will improve in the future.

    Stayed during Golden Week

    My husband had a break and we returned to Okinawa. Although it’s rare for us to stay at a hotel within the prefecture during the busy Golden Week tourist season, we decided to treat ourselves as a reward for our hard work and made a last-minute reservation. Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted by the hotel's signature scent and received a warm welcome with drinks while staff provided detailed explanations. Being close to the main road, car noise was noticeable, but the view of the ocean and sunset from the balcony offered relaxing moments when weather permitted. The public bath was compact but allowed us to feel connected with nature, especially with rain outside enhancing its open atmosphere. However, since there were many families staying, changing rooms felt quite cramped when children were around. My husband enjoyed using the gym and was very pleased that he could wash his workout clothes in our room's washing machine afterward. With late check-out available, we opted to change breakfast into lunch so we could enjoy a leisurely hotel stay. The pancakes—something I don’t usually eat—were delicious! Overall, I was satisfied with both the facilities and services of this hotel; their hospitality truly provided relaxation and comfort. I would love to stay here again in the future—thank you very much!

    It was a comfortable Hotel!

    We stayed for 4 nights. During our stay, we enjoyed breakfast every day and had dinner twice. On the last day, due to our flight schedule, we changed breakfast to lunch. The lunch was more satisfying with options like pasta, potatoes, and cakes, which made the children very happy. The room was very spacious and comfortable; after the children went to bed, we could close the bedroom door for privacy. With a kitchen and washing machine available, I think this accommodation is perfect for families traveling with children. However, since we stayed during Golden Week (GW), it might have been a seasonal issue—every night several motorcycles passed by making loud noises near the road. Even inside the room, the noise was quite disturbing at times and made it difficult to relax on the balcony in the evening. (Although this is not a fault of the hotel itself, it was unfortunate given its location.)

    Not luxurious

    We had to add one more person to our reservation at the last minute, and while other hotels adjusted the booking through their system, this Hotel only informed us of an additional charge without reflecting it on IKYU.com. The additional fee for one person for two nights was 80,000 yen. While this may not seem significant to the Hotel, it does affect how guests feel. Although we stayed on the top floor, the location near a highway meant constant traffic noise that lasted late into the night—surprisingly loud. It's puzzling why this Hotel has such high ratings on IKYU. Considering there are many hotel options in Onna area, I would recommend choosing a location where you can relax more for this price. The food was particularly disappointing. Breakfast was below average. We ordered dinner via room service; however, dishes arrived poorly presented—noodles were overcooked and soggy under blue plastic wrap, and a T-bone steak arrived cold with a bill exceeding 30,000 yen. The seasonal fruit Caprese salad claimed to include pineapple, dragon fruit, and strawberries but came with kiwi instead of strawberries—a shock as I avoid kiwi due to delayed allergies. Kiwi is an allergen; such oversight shows fundamental issues in food service at this Facility. Staff accustomed to handling complaints apologized frequently but seemed insincere or unhelpful overall—it became tiresome even trying to communicate concerns anymore. When requesting reheating of my steak dish after its poor initial state upon arrival (cold), they insisted on remaking it entirely from scratch instead—which took over an hour! By then everyone else had finished eating already; leaving me unable fully enjoy what should’ve been premium beef left uneaten feeling regretful wastefulness involved here too sadly… Towels provided felt thin/flimsy resembling cost-cutting measures disguised under SDGs sustainability claims perhaps?     Excellent service and stunning views from the Room!

    The room was spacious and absolutely wonderful. Since we were traveling with children, having a kitchen and washing machine was very helpful. The fridge was stocked with drinks and ice—such generous complimentary service! The breakfast was the best we've had in a long time. Unfortunately, our child got fussy, so we had to leave after just five minutes... If only we had chosen the takeout option from the start (which I believe is available), we could have enjoyed it in the room instead—what a shame! The front desk staff seemed to be mostly young but were all incredibly kind and helpful. My husband also loved this Hotel, saying it was amazing! Thank you very much for everything.

    The Ultimate Staycation

    The purpose of my stay was to relax in the room, and the room's size, cleanliness, and comfort were impeccable. The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary water, Orion beer, Sanpin tea, Blue Seal ice cream, and there was also original roasted coffee for hand-drip brewing. (The welcome snack HIYORI chips were delicious!) I enjoyed playing my favorite music on the Bluetooth speaker while relaxing in the room for a while. Later, I had fun at the pool and listened to sunset music by the poolside in the evening (it was a cello performance that day). Afterward, I enjoyed a delicious meal ordered through in-room dining and ended my night with cocktails at the bar. The next morning started with a yoga session that felt incredibly refreshing! Following that, I visited the public bath (though it’s labeled as such, it’s slightly small; both the bath area and sauna might feel cramped if crowded). Since I had arranged to switch my breakfast buffet to lunch instead, I spent a leisurely morning relaxing in my room. Overall, it turned out to be an exceptional "hotel vacation." What made this experience truly outstanding was undoubtedly due to the high level of hospitality provided by all hotel staff. Every staff member was polite and kind; their guest-oriented approach made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Having stayed at various accommodations before where even one instance of poor service left a lasting negative impression—sometimes from one person or even multiple—it has been disappointing on those occasions. However this time around every single staff member exceeded expectations allowing me an entirely pleasant experience from start-to-finish! Thank you very much!
