    Autumn Leaves of Mount Tanigawa and Kusatsu Onsen

    I decided on Bouun after researching various options for my first visit to Kusatsu Onsen. When we were shown to our room, we were immediately struck by the breathtaking view of the bright red autumn leaves right in front of us. The room, as well as the bathroom, was impeccably clean, and both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared and delicious, allowing my spouse and I to enjoy some drinks together. The autumn foliage at Akagi Mountain and Tanigawa-dake Ropeway was also spectacular, making it a very satisfying one-night trip.

    First Visit to Kusatsu Onsen

    It was my first time in Kusatsu. The location is just a 5-minute walk to Yubatake, making it convenient for sightseeing, yet tucked away enough to enjoy a quiet stay. The room and Onsen were clean, allowing for a relaxing experience. Meals were served in private rooms with partitions, which was nice. However, it was a bit confusing where to park the car upon arrival, possibly due to the Ryokan being under renovation.
