    Revisit

    A few years ago, when COVID-19 was just starting to spread, my husband and I quietly stayed at this Property. The Room with a fireplace was comfortable, and the moor Onsen was pleasant. Wanting to visit again, we made an early Reservation for our 25th wedding anniversary trip this time. The Room with an open-air bath was spacious, had a fireplace, and was modern, exceeding our expectations. The open-air bath was semi-outdoor with a great view, allowing us to enjoy the Onsen leisurely while overlooking a courtyard with squirrels. We also used the large bath and sauna on the first floor, and then relaxed in the Room's bath, enjoying a blissful time. For dessert at dinner, they prepared a congratulatory plate and a commemorative photo, making it a wonderful memory. The meals were allergy-friendly, allowing us to enjoy delicious food with peace of mind. The late checkout privilege allowed us to have a leisurely morning, which my husband was very pleased with. The Hotel is in the city but quiet, and we enjoyed sightseeing in the surrounding area, making it a Property we want to visit again. Thank you very much.

    A highly satisfying stay

    The room was the type where you take off your shoes, so it was very relaxing. The bunk bed was very large, and the mattress was comfortable to sleep on. It was also nice to have a private space where I could charge my phone next to the bed. The breakfast was delicious no matter what I ate. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so I could take my time. The Onsen had a small changing room, but there were various types of baths, and the sauna & open-air bath were very pleasant. I would like to stay in this bunk bed room again.

    The kindness of people and the quality of the hot spring water

    I was very satisfied with the warm people and the quality of the Onsen. I usually choose a Hotel with a spacious Room, but here it was an ordinary Room. However, it was a Hotel where I could truly relax and feel at ease. I also had a wonderful breakfast that made me very happy, as I encountered squirrels in the morning. I would love to visit again.

    For those seeking a bath and sauna

    I stayed after a long time, mainly for the bath and sauna. The changing room is a bit small, but the quality of the bath and sauna is excellent, and I always end up taking a long bath. This time, I had the Tokachi Blessing Dinner, which highlighted the goodness of Tokachi's specialty vegetables and was very delicious. The room was also clean and comfortable, and it's a hotel I would want to stay at again when I visit Obihiro.

    The Onsen and sauna are wonderful.

    The lounge is available from 5 PM, so there is no welcome drink. Dinner was a kaiseki meal, but there was no white rice, and towards the end, grilled rice ball chazuke was served. I would have liked rice earlier. Also, the sashimi, hot pot, and chazuke were all salty, and I found it too salty. The view from the window was a healing space with trees, but the Nissan neon sign ruins the atmosphere. I think it would be better to increase the number of trees to hide it. The room was clean, with water set in the humidifier, and amenities were well provided. The large public bath was clean, and the mall Onsen had a rich concentration, which was nice. The open-air bath was narrow and surrounded by high walls, which felt oppressive. The sauna and cold bath were at the right temperature and allowed for good sweating. It was also nice to have towels always available in the changing room. Breakfast was self-service with bread and drinks, and both the bread and dishes were delicious. Overall, it was well-organized, with more satisfaction than dissatisfaction. It was a good Hotel that makes me want to visit again.

    A calm and comfortable Hotel

    I always stay at Hokkaido Hotel when I visit Obihiro. This is my fifth time. It is a classical hotel with tradition and history, and while the facilities are not brand new, they are very well maintained and lack nothing. You can feel the charm of old Japan, and it is very calming. The staff clearly take pride in working at this hotel, and their heartfelt service was evident. The highlight is undoubtedly the large public bath with moor onsen. I've tried various moor onsens in the area, but the quality of the water here is excellent (of course, it's a natural hot spring), and it's worth staying just for this. I only had breakfast, but considering the accommodation cost, I was fully satisfied. It has a calm and comfortable atmosphere that new hotels lack, and I will definitely stay here again when visiting Obihiro in the future. Thank you very much.

    A bath where you can relax and unwind

    I love the quality of the Onsen at the moor, and I take a leisurely bath twice a day. The food is delicious, and it's a Hotel that makes you want to come back.

    A hotel that makes you not want to go anywhere else.

    The bath is simply amazing. The only downside is the narrow changing room, but the silky smooth Moor Onsen, especially the open-air bath, is the best. In the morning, you can hear the birds and sometimes even see squirrels. During the day, you can be soothed by the blue sky and fresh air, and at night, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, wrapped in silence and darkness. The sauna is famous, so it's worth trying, but even if you don't, you'll have a very satisfying day. I ended up writing mostly about the bath, but the breakfast is also wonderful, with a choice of Western, Japanese, and soup curry, making it hard to decide. This time, I chose the Western option. It comes with three types of pastries, and you can take home what you can't finish. The bag is also cute. There's plenty of time until 10 o'clock, so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful autumn garden. It's a bit inconvenient to get around since it's a little far from the station, but it's such a delightful Hotel that you won't want to leave anyway (laughs).

    First time using Hidaka Wing

    I have made this my regular Stays in Obihiro. This is my third stay. The staff's response was impeccable. However, it was disappointing that the presentation of the Diamond Member Benefit Voucher was delayed. I pointed this out before, but it was unfortunate that the female staff in the lounge were unfriendly, even though the coffee was delicious. The Room was a maisonette, and I was able to spend my time elegantly. The renovated floor was beautiful. The breakfast wasn't very tasty, but I was able to take the bread home and enjoyed it.

    The atmosphere is nice.

    The response from the reservation staff was very good when I inquired in advance, and I was looking forward to staying there based on the recommendation from the tourism bureau. I liked the room, but I was a bit disappointed that from the open-air bath in the room, you could see the garden as well as the road and company, and you could hear the sound of cars. It's understandable since it's a hotel in the middle of the town. The large public bath was as small as in the photos. The changing room was also narrow. I had the special lunch and breakfast, but honestly, the quality was not what I would expect from a hotel. It was not tasty. It was the first time I had such dry meat and fish. Well, maybe it's because I ordered a cheap lunch... I was surprised that the basket of bread for breakfast was served cold. It seems you have to warm it yourself. I understand if it's a buffet, but... The location is convenient, and the staff are nice, but unfortunately, it didn't quite suit me.

    A property I would like to stay at again

    Since it was my first time in Obihiro and I was staying for a Multiple Night Stay, I chose this Property because it seemed like a relaxing space and within walking distance to the zoo, and it was a great decision. The room in the Garden Wing was as spacious and clean as the photos, if not more, allowing me to relax comfortably alone. The onsen, which I hadn't researched much beforehand, was very pleasant, and after returning from the zoo, I wanted to spend more time in the onsen rather than exploring the area around the station, so I stayed at the Hotel the whole time. The onsen was equipped with both large and small towels and even had an authentic Finnish sauna, making me wish I could have stayed for about four nights. The breakfast was delightful with a view of the garden from the restaurant, and the small glasses for cold drinks allowed me to try various beverages. Additionally, there were notes suggesting that guests could take their coffee to the garden, and if you couldn't finish the pastries served with the Western breakfast, takeout bags were provided, which was very considerate. There was a space for guests on the first floor, but I wasn't informed about it during check-in. After checking out, I realized this, and since there was a wedding, the service when I returned to pick up my belongings after checking out on Saturday night was not the best (it depends on the person), so I rated the customer service as a 4. However, it is truly a recommended Hotel.

    It is truly a five-star Hotel.

    You can enjoy a five-star Hotel at a very affordable price. The entire building is brick-clad, surrounded by trees, offering a quiet and serene atmosphere. The bath features authentic moor Onsen, and after the sauna, you can refresh in the cold bath. The Japanese Kaiseki cuisine was also excellent.

    It was my favorite Hotel, but

    I love Obihiro and this is my third stay. Due to the weekend stay, I finally got a room on the waiting list. I was fully aware that it was a small room at 24 square meters, but the room I was guided to was completely unsettling, with only a pet, a small table, and two round rugs placed on a raised floor. Being an elderly person, I inevitably have to get up at night to use the bathroom, but this step is dangerously inconvenient. If I fall, it would be a big deal. Despite having such a large property, the smallness of the room stood out in comparison, making it extremely uncomfortable.

    I am impressed with the Onsen water. It doesn't have a smell, yet it's silky and smooth. It's a pity there are few washbasins, but I would love to enter the Onsen every day.

    A hotel I wanted to stay at once

    It is a bit far from the station, but I wanted to stay here at least once when I went to Obihiro, so I stayed. I chose a room with an open-air bath and was satisfied with the moor hot spring. The breakfast is a set meal, but I think it would be nice to have a half-buffet option.
