    I have stayed multiple times, and I think the overall atmosphere, meals, and large public bath (with sauna) are good.

    Everything is excellent.

    You can choose from three types of breakfast, all of which are exceptionally delicious. The French cuisine at the Bird Watch Café was also excellent, and the sommelier's knowledge and service were top-notch. The Room was clean, and the sauna provided a perfect way to relax your body. Everything about this Hotel was first-class.

    The Onsen was excellent.

    I chose this hotel because I wanted to experience the Moor Onsen in Obihiro, but couldn't make it to Tokachi Onsen. Although the hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the station and not very accessible, it offers a serene atmosphere that feels like being in a quiet forest, which was very relaxing. The lobby provides free drinks exclusively for guests, allowing for a leisurely time. There is an Aeon mall about a 5-minute walk away where you can enjoy dinner and shopping. The Moor Onsen was excellent. The tea-brown water had a smoky aroma, felt slightly slippery, and left my skin smooth. I enjoyed the onsen twice—once in the evening and once in the morning—and was very satisfied. Breakfast was served at a restaurant with views of nature outside its windows. The scrambled eggs made from their signature white eggs were delightful, and we even spotted squirrels among the trees! Any leftover bread could be taken home—a thoughtful touch indeed. As a Diamond member, I received ¥3,000 worth of vouchers which I used to purchase souvenirs at their shop. After check-in, I wanted to visit Rokka no Mori garden and took a bus from near Aeon mall. Since I didn’t want to carry heavy luggage around while exploring, the front desk kindly stored my bags for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Obihiro!

    Recommended Dinner

    We changed our plan and stayed at the accommodation on the last day of our trip. The course dinner was very delicious! We would like to stay again with a dinner-included plan next time. For breakfast, you can choose from three options: Western-style, soup curry, or Japanese-style. We ordered Japanese-style and soup curry separately. While the Japanese-style breakfast was served promptly, the soup curry arrived only after we finished eating the Japanese meal, which felt like eating alone. It would be great if the serving timing could be coordinated better. Additionally, there were no vegetables left at the salad bar or in the cheese fondue corner when we went there; other guests also requested refills. It would be appreciated if these areas could be checked more frequently for replenishment.

    The front desk service is excellent.

    I contacted the accommodation via email before and on the day of my trip, and their response was very quick, which was excellent as a guest. Although I arrived late, there was a FREE drink bar in front of the reception, which I found to be a very appreciated service during my stay. The large public bath features the famous Moor Onsen and was excellent. However, due to many users at certain times, the onsen became crowded, with limited washing areas requiring some waiting time. Additionally, as the public bath is compact overall, I had to wait for others finishing up in the changing area before I could change myself. There were only two hair dryers at the sink area, so there was also some waiting there, which was slightly disappointing. For breakfast, being able to choose from three options was great, and the bread was delicious!

    A place you'll want to visit regularly.

    A favorite hotel you'll want to visit regularly. This time, we stayed for our wedding anniversary trip. The location is within walking distance from the station, and the beautiful garden creates a wonderful environment. The staff's smiles and smart service are pleasant, and the natural moor onsen and sauna are comfortable. You can enjoy breakfast while admiring the greenery of the garden, though if you stay multiple times, you might find the breakfast menu a bit repetitive. That said, you can choose from three options: Western-style, Japanese-style, or soup curry. The view is also great, so it's highly recommended. While not very spacious, the onsen and sauna have excellent water quality. Since the sauna was renovated a few years ago, it seems that more guests now visit specifically for it with their sauna hats. Whether you're visiting for sightseeing purposes or looking to relax in an onsen & sauna or simply unwind at the hotel itself—this facility offers satisfaction for everyone. I love this hotel as well as Tokachi's scenery (quintessential Hokkaido!), so I hope to visit again in a few years. Thank you for your hospitality!

    It was a Hotel with a very pleasant atmosphere.

    The moment I entered the hotel, I felt very comfortable. It is a hotel with a great atmosphere. I reserved the room I had always wanted to stay in. Since there were three of us, the sofa was made into a bed, which made it a bit difficult for everyone to relax together. However, with the maisonette layout, terrace, and complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, we were very satisfied.

    I had a relaxing time.

    I stayed at the accommodation again for a refreshing experience. Being able to enjoy the onsen open-air bath in the room anytime I wanted and relaxing on the balcony afterward was the best. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was always delicious. Above all, the staff's service was excellent, and those who assisted with check-in and check-out were very kind. The shop also has a wide variety of items, which I look forward to every time. I will be back again. Thank you very much.

    This is my fifth stay.

    You can always enjoy a relaxing stay. The Moor Onsen is especially inviting, making you want to soak in it repeatedly. Meals are abundant with delicious local Hokkaido ingredients, offering a very high level of satisfaction.

    Favorite Hotel

    This is my second stay following last year. The kamameshi for dinner was delicious. The onsen was very relaxing, and I enjoyed it multiple times. However, I always feel that it would be better to have something like loungewear instead of yukata. It felt a bit odd to see people wandering around the lobby in yukata at a hotel.

    We stayed here for his birthday. The dinner service created wonderful memories, and we had a great stay. Thank you very much. The meals were incredibly delicious and left a lasting impression! There is just one point I would like to suggest for improvement: there was a line waiting for lockers at the large public bath, which was not very pleasant. These might be lockers for day-use guests, but it might be better to open them during busy times. Other than that, we were satisfied with everything. Next time, we hope to stay in a room with an Onsen. Thank you so much for your hospitality this time!

    Satisfied with the unique Onsen

    A spa resort in the city? Visiting it made perfect sense. The hotel exudes the history of Hokkaido, with tasteful interior and exterior designs as well as furnishings that create a relaxing atmosphere. I stayed for three nights and enjoyed breakfast, which offered a choice of three Japanese and Western set meals with a half-buffet option that changed daily. Unlike typical buffets where the restaurant can feel crowded and noisy, this setup allowed for a calm dining experience. However, considering it's a hotel in Hokkaido, I found the cheese selection lacking—only fondue was available. The onsen was satisfying, but I felt that better ventilation and air conditioning were needed as both the bath area and changing room were quite warm. All staff members were kind and attentive, making my stay very pleasant. Highly recommended for at least one visit!

    Just a garden, not a forest.

    I stayed in the Forest Spa Twin on the 6th floor. The room was as shown in the photos, but I was bothered by an odor from the toilet. The view from the terrace included large signs of a certain supermarket, which ruined my expectation of enjoying a relaxing stay at the Hotel with nice scenery. I tried to find an angle where I couldn't see them, but it was impossible. Both breakfast and dinner were nothing noteworthy—just what you would expect for the price. At breakfast, there was spilled salt on our assigned table that no staff cleaned up, so my child ended up fixing it. I should have researched more thoroughly beforehand.

    The Moor Onsen was wonderful.

    The highlight was the Moor Onsen, which was crowded during both the 7 PM and 11 PM hours due to families with young children on summer vacation. However, the Onsen water felt rich and effective. Be cautious as the floor can be quite slippery. The front desk and restaurant staff were efficient and left a good impression. The cleaning staff appeared to be mostly foreign workers (possibly Indonesian), though their language was unclear. The forest surrounding the Hotel was pleasant, and we even spotted squirrels running by. For breakfast, we chose Japanese cuisine again this year as we did during last year's Golden Week stay. While consistent in quality, it lacked variety or seasonal changes. However, rice refills were handled smoothly via a call button system. The Hotel room felt dated. There was a significant step between the sink area and toilet/bathroom, making it less comfortable. Additionally, there were small spiders in some corners of the Room that made it hard to relax fully. Diamond members receive a ¥3,000 voucher for use within the Hotel premises; I used mine at the shop to purchase souvenirs like hotel-made bread and cakes. The bread I brought home received positive feedback from my family. While Moor Onsen is highly appealing, I might consider staying at Hotel Nikko Northland next time I'm in Obihiro. The bus stop for airport transportation is located slightly away from the Hotel; umbrellas are available for rainy days with return stands provided near the bus stop pole. During this sunny summer visit with intense sunlight, I wished parasols had been available for borrowing instead!

    I have stayed at this hotel several times because I like it, but this stay was disappointing. The room cleaning needs to be thorough; there was dust and hair in various places. The air in the room also felt like it needed ventilation. Walking down the hallway, I could clearly hear cheerful conversations from the cleaning staff's break room. For dinner, the appetizer was the most delicious part... As the meal progressed, it became harder to comment on the dishes, and our conversation dwindled. I was surprised when pickles were placed between rice and miso soup at the end—lined up in a straight row: rice, pickles, miso soup. I shared some of my thoughts with the front desk staff. The front desk service, along with the moor onsen and refreshing greenery around the hotel, were redeeming aspects of my stay.

    The Onsen was excellent.

    We stayed at the hotel to visit five gardens in the Tokachi area. The staff's hospitality, greetings, and meals were all satisfactory, but the highlight was definitely the "Onsen." While the open-air bath was at a "basic level," the quality of the Onsen water was very pleasant. We hope for an open-air bath on the top floor with breathtaking views in the future (though we understand it might be challenging due to budget constraints...).

    Enjoy the exceptional experience of soaking in a moor Onsen while gazing at the Tokachi Plain.

    Our regular accommodation in Obihiro, Hokkaido Hotel. Finally, I was able to visit with my wife. We reserved the long-awaited Forest Spa Twin for two of us. Enjoyed the rich Moor Onsen, carefully selected shops, and a delicious breakfast while admiring the beautiful garden. After breakfast, we strolled through Midorigaoka Park and relaxed until the 12:00 check-out time with Diamond Member benefits. It was a hot day, but both my wife and I were soothed by this historic hotel in Hokkaido. Thank you very much!

    I would like to stay longer next time.

    The Onsen was amazing!! I wish I could have enjoyed it more. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and attentive, making it a wonderful stay.

    Fully satisfied with the Room featuring an Onsen

    The room was excellent and having a bathrobe made it very comfortable. The Onsen was also very relaxing. Once again, the restaurant staff stood out for their kindness and attentiveness. Thank you so much for accommodating my request regarding not being able to eat raw fish—I truly appreciate it. Although there are taxis available in front of the station, which is convenient, it would have been nice if there were a shuttle bus from the station as well, considering there's one to drop off guests. That part was a little disappointing.

    Close to the city ce...

    Close to the city center yet quiet and serene, the atmosphere was truly delightful. Surrounded by trees, it felt as if we were in the middle of a forest. For dinner, we chose the Western-style course, which turned out to be an excellent choice—absolutely delicious. The open-air bath in the large public bath could have been even better with a more scenic view.

    We visited for my daughter's birthday trip. When I called in concern as my daughter fell ill shortly before the trip, I was deeply moved by the warm words of support. Thankfully, she recovered, and we were able to visit. At check-in, the staff showed care and even made thoughtful gestures for her birthday. This is truly a wonderful hotel that always leaves a great impression. It is our go-to accommodation when visiting Obihiro, and we look forward to staying again in the future!

    A City Hotel with a Great Atmosphere

    The location, atmosphere, and charming facility of the hotel made it feel truly wonderful. The moor Onsen was also exceptional. Both dinner and breakfast featured dishes made with plenty of local ingredients, which were delicious and visually delightful with beautiful presentation and design. There was a billing error, but it was promptly resolved. Although it was just a one-night stay, I thoroughly enjoyed a lovely hotel experience.

    I felt relaxed.

    This was my second stay this year. The staff's service was excellent, especially the female staff member at check-in who provided outstanding assistance. The room, onsen, and breakfast were always satisfying. The bread was delicious, and I bought cakes as souvenirs for my family, which they greatly enjoyed. It was a very relaxing experience, and since it is one of my favorite hotels, I would love to stay again.

    A Hotel in Obihiro City Offering Onsen and Sauna Facilities

    This Hotel is recommended for enjoying Onsen in Obihiro city, even though Tokachigawa Onsen is also available nearby. Breakfast can be enjoyed at the restaurant with a choice of Japanese or Western cuisine while relaxing and appreciating the garden view. The hallways, rooms, and beds are kept very clean, providing a pleasant experience. However, despite renovations, the building itself is quite old, and noises from upstairs or downstairs were noticeable, which personally affected my sleep quality. Additionally, there was an unpleasant odor possibly leaking from the pipes in the bathroom where a toilet is installed. Customer service was average for a Hotel (though breakfast service felt slightly rushed—perhaps due to the presence of group travelers).

    Enjoy a relaxing stay while exploring Hokkaido.

    Although it was unexpectedly cold in Obihiro, the Onsen was so relaxing and comforting. The Room had a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden, which made for an incredibly serene and delightful stay. For breakfast during our 2-night stay, I had Japanese-style on the first day (while my friend chose Western-style). The meal included steamed vegetables with pork, grilled hokke fish, spinach ohitashi, miso soup, multigrain rice, and pickles—all delicious. I especially enjoyed the tofu cheese; it was delightful! My friend's Western breakfast featured an omelet made from eggs laid by chickens fed with special rice—it looked amazing! The bread also seemed delicious. I tried a bit of their yogurt accompanied by beans and grapes—it tasted wonderful. On the second day, we both opted for soup curry. It was perfectly spiced with plenty of vegetables; though I couldn’t finish all the rice due to being full from just enjoying the flavorful soup itself! The Yotsuba milk was incredibly tasty as well. We also savored white coffee that left us feeling warm and satisfied.

    The sauna temperatur...

    The sauna temperature and the quality of the Onsen were better than expected. However, I think it would be nice to have a clock (sand timer) in the sauna.

    Excellent, just one more thing.

    The Room and breakfast were both wonderful. However, I think it would be nice to have loungewear like pajamas. When I sleep in a yukata, the sash moves up, and the front opens, making it difficult for me to sleep.
