    The view is nice, but...

    I stayed in a Corner Deluxe Room. As it was on the 32nd floor, the view was wonderful. However, as can be said of Nikko Hotels in general, this Hotel also has very limited space around the toilet and washbasin. At least for a Deluxe Room, the toilet and washbasin should be in separate areas, and having the toilet separated by only a thin door—so that sounds are clearly heard in the Room—feels like a cheap apartment. I strongly request improvements. For breakfast, the Japanese set is quiet and enjoyable, but while the buffet offers many items, many guests’ manners are extremely poor, so I think it would be helpful if staff could remind guests to behave appropriately.

    It was a first-class Hotel.

    We stayed for two nights for our daughter’s wedding. Even before check-in, you welcomed us with a smile and kindly showed us to our Room, for which we are very grateful. Every staff member was wonderful and consistently friendly, allowing us, even as older guests, to spend our time in comfort. Being able to be there for our daughter’s new beginning, along with the excellent service at this Hotel, made it a truly memorable experience for us. Thank you very much.

    I stayed here again!

    I stayed here when I visited Sapporo three years ago and was very satisfied, so I chose this Hotel again. First of all, the location is excellent—directly connected to the station. After arriving at Sapporo Station on the JR Rapid from New Chitose Airport, the Hotel is right there. I could leave my suitcase and head straight out sightseeing. The Room has a calm atmosphere and is very relaxing. What I look forward to most is breakfast. I choose the buffet, and everything looks delicious. I especially love the bread here, and this time the croffles that you bake yourself were amazing. Local specialties such as a seafood bowl made with salmon roe, salmon, and sweet shrimp, miso ramen, and soup curry were also outstanding. The front desk staff and doormen are very kind as well. This is my go-to place to stay in Sapporo.

    I always use this service.

    I always stay here when I’m in Sapporo on business. This time I didn’t dine here, but the hospitality and service were as excellent as ever. They also called a taxi for me without any issues, which was very helpful. I was too busy to use the spa this time, but I’d like to use it on my next visit.

    This is my second stay.

    I stayed again last October via IKYU. Last year, I couldn’t go beyond the “Women Prohibited” gate at Cape Kamui due to strong winds, so this time I came back for a retry. (It was windy again, but I made it safely to the tip.) I chose JR Tower Hotel because the scheduled sightseeing bus departs from Sapporo Station, which is close to the Hotel and very convenient, and because the views were also excellent. Breakfast featured many dishes made with Hokkaido ingredients, and the salmon roe in particular was delicious.

    I keep coming back f...

    I keep coming back for the beautiful night view from the window and the calm, quiet atmosphere. The lobby and front desk staff are wonderful, and their hospitality is truly exceptional. I had been a little worried because I heard pollen levels are high in Sapporo this year, but there was a high-performance air purifier in the room, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. I also appreciate that lobby staff are available even at night.

    The breakfast buffet is amazing!

    [Breakfast Buffet] With plenty of ingredients from Hokkaido, the selection is extensive and well balanced between Japanese and Western dishes—very satisfying. When I visited, there was a great lineup including Sapporo ramen, gelato, kashiwa-mochi, and homemade bread, and everything was delicious. I also loved being able to enjoy a panoramic view of Sapporo from the windows. The hygiene standards were well maintained, and everything felt clean. [Location] Directly connected to Sapporo Station with excellent access. There are plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, including Daimaru and other station commercial facilities. [Staff] Every staff member was kind and welcoming. When I asked a few questions about sightseeing, they responded thoughtfully and attentively. The restaurant staff were also consistently pleasant; even during busy hours they promptly brought coffee refills with a smile. Their warm care for elderly guests and those with disabilities made for a very comfortable stay. This was my first stay here, but I would definitely like to stay again—especially during the winter ski season.

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time in Hokkaido in 25 years, so I felt a bit unsure at first, but the hospitality was excellent, especially from the male front desk staff.

    I stayed here during the Golden Week holidays.

    I stay here a few times a year, and once again everything was excellent. This time, the spa was quite crowded, which didn’t bother me, but I was disappointed that many people left their spa bags in the washing area of the women’s spa, which limited the spaces available to use (mostly around the ReFa showerheads). Still, I was able to relax in the baths, so that was good. Also, the breakfast bread was very delicious. I will definitely stay again.

    I slept well.

    Ever since I was allowed to use the restroom during a trip to Hokkaido in 2005, I had hoped to stay here someday. Unlike the slightly small Rooms often found in high-rise Hotels, this Room had a chair and table by the window and felt very clean—hard to believe it has been open for over 20 years. There were plenty of amenities, including two kinds of tea, coffee, bath salts, and toiletries. The bed was fluffy, and the bathroom had a separate washing area, which made it easy to use. I slept very well. For breakfast, I chose the Japanese set meal on the top floor. The side dishes served on 12 small plates looked beautiful and tasted great. There were also salad, asparagus, tofu, salted squid (shiokara), potatoes, and more—I was completely full. The staff were kind as well and even explained the view from the window. It was a comfortable stay, so I’m glad I chose this Hotel for the last day of my Hokkaido trip.

    The staff are truly wonderful.

    We loved the attentive service from all staff and the breakfast buffet during our stay last year, so we chose this Accommodation again this year. Once again, the staff were wonderful; we enjoyed delicious meals while taking in the view at a relaxed pace, and our Room was clean—making for a soothing and enjoyable stay. Thank you very much. As our stay spanned two months, the flowers in the lobby had changed by morning, so we felt lucky to see two different arrangements. We will definitely stay again.

    This is the best Hotel!

    I’ve stayed here many times, and every visit leaves me 100% satisfied. The staff’s hospitality is outstanding, and the access from the station is excellent. This time I chose the Japanese breakfast restaurant, and both the beautiful presentation and the flavor were unquestionably high quality. From the high-floor corner twin room where I stayed, I enjoyed sweeping panoramic views of Sapporo—an incredibly luxurious experience. The price may be a little on the higher side, but it offers more than enough value to match. Being able to dine on a high floor as well made it feel truly special, and I was very satisfied with this luxurious, out-of-the-ordinary setting. If you’re unsure which Hotel to stay at in Sapporo, I highly recommend this one.

    So glad we chose this place!

    Thank you for your hospitality. The Room was spacious, and the view from the window was absolutely beautiful. Being able to choose breakfast on the morning of the day—buffet, Japanese set meal, or sashimi set meal—was very nice. The Room was well cleaned and there were no issues, but since it is an older Hotel, the bathroom fixtures are inevitably something you notice. In particular, the black mold on the packing under the bath door and the grout lines on the floor seemed quite noticeable. The ReFa shower head, hair dryer, and highly absorbent bath towels were great. We had a very comfortable stay for three nights and it became a wonderful memory. The cute bear welcoming us in the Room made us happy. Thank you very much.

    For the first time, I was disappointed.

    Whenever I visit Sapporo, I always stay at this Hotel. The service, meals, and spa have always been very satisfying, but this time there was one disappointing experience. When I went to the spa, I saw a notice saying that registering on LINE would give a small discount, so I told them I would register right away. However, the staff member said it had to be registered one month in advance. Although I have stayed here many times, this was the first time I had seen that notice, and I never received any information about it by email. Since it was my birthday month, I felt they could have been more flexible for guests who noticed it at the time. It wasn’t about the money—I was disappointed by the response. Other than that, my stay was very comfortable.

    Thank you for your continued support.

    Except in winter, I visit Sapporo almost every month from Chiba Prefecture and have stayed at Hotels around the station area and in Shin-Sapporo, but for some time now JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo has been my only choice. The Facility and service are truly first-class, offering a level of reassurance that stands out. Depending on the Reservation situation, I have even received a Room upgrade before. No matter which Room I stay in, the night view is beautiful, and I always make use of the spa. For breakfast I always choose Sky J; the menu is extensive, letting you enjoy seafood, Hokkaido specialties, and Hotel-made sweets all at once. This is a wonderful Hotel that I hope to continue staying with for years to come.

    Enjoy our breakfast buffet.

    Breakfast is a must—enjoy a wide variety of menu options from a window seat with a great view! I used the spa both morning and night, and fully enjoyed the after-bath ice cream and evening drink service. It was also nice to be able to go there in slippers straight from the Room. Next time, I’ll bring a light change of clothes. The convenient location near Sapporo Station makes this my top choice overall. I’ll definitely stay again!

    This is a wonderful Hotel.

    We stayed for two nights. It’s a truly wonderful Hotel. First of all, all the Hotel staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We were assigned an Executive Room. The Room isn’t very large, but it was extremely comfortable. All amenities were color-coded, so even with two people staying, it was easy to tell whose items were whose—very convenient. We really appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. The pajamas were a separate top-and-bottom set and very comfortable to wear. We didn’t use it this time, but the bathroom also had a separate washing area and looked easy to use. We used the spa (public bath). It was spacious with a great view, and the relaxation area had a lovely atmosphere as well. There were hair dryers from three different brands available to try, which was a nice touch. The breakfast quality is outstanding—excellent selection and taste across the board. It’s a beautiful restaurant where you can enjoy the view, and we had such a pleasant breakfast experience from the start of the day. When we visit Sapporo again, we will definitely stay here again, and we would confidently recommend this Hotel to family and friends. Thank you very much for your hospitality—we are grateful to all of the Hotel staff.

    The Room bathroom is very small, and the large public bath costs extra even for guests. Ah...

    The large public bath (marketed as a “SPA,” but in reality inferior to today’s super sento, so I would call it a large public bath) feels outdated and not very clean. Even for hotel guests, charging several thousand yen to use it is something I have never heard of at a Hotel in this class (about 50,000 yen per night). It is hard to deny that the management’s attitude feels somewhat stingy. If the Room (called an “Executive Room”) had a comfortable bathroom, that might be acceptable; however, although the Hotel opened in 2003, the bathroom is a cramped unit bath with the toilet and tub together—worse than many newer Business Hotels. Overall comfort and value for money were low.

    Although it’s close to the station, the access route is inconvenient and getting around is difficult.

    What I thought would be the biggest advantage—being close to the station—wasn’t very meaningful, as the route from the station is inconvenient and getting there with luggage is quite difficult. In hindsight, it would have been easier to stay at a Hotel with direct access from the underground pedestrian walkway in front of the station, or take a taxi toward Susukino. The lobby was crowded with tour groups from China. It may be a good location for those who arrive by tour bus and are satisfied dining at restaurants in the station building.

    Everything was spotl...

    Everything was spotless, and we were very satisfied. My daughter and I stayed here on a trip together. The place was very luxurious, and the bathroom was clean and wonderful. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    It was comfortable.

    I had a very comfortable stay. The amenities were well stocked, though I was disappointed that there was no body lotion. Since I came back after a concert, it ended up being just a place to sleep, which was a shame. With prices soaring during the event, I felt the rate here was very reasonable. I’d definitely like to stay again on my next trip to Sapporo.

    The towels are worn out.

    The towels seem like they’ve been in use since the Hotel opened and were worn out. I think they should be replaced—these days, even a Business Hotel would be better. The toilet also feels outdated. The price is too high. The only good point was that the Japanese set breakfast was delicious. The restaurant staff were also kind.

    Ultimate Satisfaction

    When I arrived early and went to the lobby, the staff assisted me without any unpleasant attitude at all. The spa was excellent; it was my first time using it, and I felt relaxed with the amazing view. The Room was not small, very clean, and comfortable to stay in. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Attentive service

    It was my first stay in a while, and the hospitality felt like it had declined. That said, it may simply be that it used to be exceptionally good, and I still think it ranks among the better Hotels in the area. Also, setting the Room air conditioner to 25°C was too warm. The Room didn’t seem to allow ventilation either, so even with the air conditioner turned off, the heat lingered until the next day. The MIKIMOTO shampoo provided in the Room was great. I also appreciated that the hair dryer was a ReFa. The bath salts were a nice touch. I’m grateful for newspaper delivery as well—few places offer that anymore. It would be helpful if there were a humidifier.

    I stayed here again ...

    I stayed here again for the first time in several years. The location is convenient from the station, and I felt the service was excellent. Unfortunately, there was an unbearable sewage smell coming from the bathroom drain in the Room I was shown, so I asked to change Rooms. I was told it was due to recent pipe cleaning, but it did feel like age-related wear and tear throughout, including the Room.\nThe view from the Room was great, and I was able to relax until check-out. Thank you very much.

    I was very satisfied.

    Although it was only for one night, every staff member who assisted us from check-in to check-out provided excellent service. The paid large public bath was also very relaxing, with great views and high-quality hot spring water. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered a wide variety, and the next time we stay in Sapporo, we will gladly choose this hotel again.
