    Hopping Lounge Access

    I used the club lounge. While the variety of food and snacks was not extensive, the atmosphere was very pleasant. You can also enjoy access to the lounge at Shin-Takanawa. I visited the bath at Sakura Tower as well. It was not crowded during my visit, allowing me to relax without any issues. A stroll through the garden is highly recommended. The towels in the Room were from Imabari. Bath salts are provided in the bathroom, and a charger is available in the drawer. The staff were kind and attentive, making my stay very satisfying. Thank you very much!

    Had a relaxing stay!

    Stayed to unwind from work fatigue! Checked in and immediately enjoyed café time at the Takanawa Lounge. The salted caramel macaron was absolutely delicious. Afterward, I strolled through the garden and had cocktail time at the New Takanawa Lounge. The shrimp appetizer was large, plump, and paired perfectly with drinks. I usually enjoy "cider," but it wasn't available this time, which was a bit disappointing. After cocktail time, I took an evening stroll through the garden. It had a completely different atmosphere from daytime and was truly enchanting. The Room was spacious and clean, with a large and pristine bathroom—absolutely wonderful! I lost track of time enjoying my stay! Looking forward to visiting again for another relaxing getaway!

    Club Lounge Service

    Overall, my stay was comfortable, but there was one incident that I found unacceptable. The club lounge was extremely crowded, making it difficult to secure a seat. I wanted to find a calm spot for my companion who planned to join me during cocktail time. When I approached an available sofa seat, a male staff member suddenly came from behind and placed an empty glass on the table, making it appear as though the seat was occupied. Puzzled, I asked if it was a reserved seat, to which he vaguely replied that "the guest has gone to the restroom." However, the seat remained unused for quite some time afterward. When I met my companion at the lounge entrance and noticed that the same seat was still vacant, we paused briefly near it. At that moment, the same staff member firmly stopped us by saying in a strong tone: "That seat is for someone else!" This left both of us surprised and very uncomfortable. Since we were informed beforehand that "lounge seats cannot be reserved," I could not understand why only we were prevented from sitting there without any explanation provided. The manner in which this situation was handled felt very disrespectful and disappointing. Although I refrained from raising this issue during our stay this time, should something similar occur again in future visits, I would like to discuss it directly with a manager or person in charge.

    The night view is stunning.

    We stayed at the accommodation for our 45th wedding anniversary. We were delighted to receive congratulatory words from the staff. The view of Tokyo Tower from the club floor, as well as the night view of Takanawa Gateway, was stunning. We would love to use this hotel again.

    The bathroom has been newly renovated!

    Thank you very much for your continued excellent service. I always appreciate the appropriate responses from all the staff. As I use this place quite frequently, I have sometimes been upgraded when rooms were available, but during the busy Golden Week period, I expected to stay in a standard small room... only to find that the bathroom and shower had been newly renovated! The mist shower was very comfortable to use. Thank you so much! I have already made my next reservation. Looking forward to it! (smile)

    Luxurious and satisfying accommodation

    The front desk and restaurant exude luxury, the rooms are spacious, and the air conditioning facility is perfect, making for a highly satisfying stay. With shuttle buses running every 20 minutes between Prince locations, it didn’t feel far from Shinagawa Station. The breakfast venue was mostly filled with international guests besides myself. I would love to stay at this hotel again.

    The Club Floor stay was relaxing, especially at Hanamiyabi. As with other Prince Hotels, the quality of razors could be improved.

    Lost and Found

    I forgot something in the lounge, but the process was very smooth, and I appreciated the careful packaging when it was sent to me. Thank you so much to the lounge staff for your effort despite being busy. The Takanawa side is connected to Sakura Tower on the opposite side, making it very convenient, and the garden view with cherry blossoms was lovely. The lighting at night was stylish and uplifting. The cherry blossoms visible through the large glass doors of the breakfast venue were breathtaking. The omelet was my favorite among all those I've had at any Hotel before. However, it would be helpful if payment methods were explained during check-in. Since room charges weren’t possible, I had to return to my Room again; a smoother approach would be more impressive. Although this Room has a refrigerator near its entrance, there’s also a luggage bench inside which is convenient. Amenities are well-prepared as well. I’d love to stay at this Hotel again during seasonal transitions like cherry blossom or fresh green periods! The location and price make it great value for money too! Thank you very much!

    A Hotel without greetings from a Business Hotel

    No greetings at all. I have used this Hotel several times because it is affordable and conveniently located, but the staff never greets guests, making it the worst Hotel. The club lounge also lacks any greetings and seems unmotivated. It has been like this for a while, but it’s getting worse. The Prince brand has reached its lowest level. Breakfast and lounge snacks are at the lowest standard—worse than business class these days. Is Takanawa Prince giving up? That’s the impression this Hotel gives off. Very disappointing.

    A Memorable Birthday

    We celebrated a 91st birthday here. The Hotel kindly upgraded us to a Room with a view of the cherry blossoms and even gifted champagne for the occasion. Thanks to this, my elderly mother not only enjoyed strolling in the garden but also relaxed while admiring the beautiful scenery from the Room both during the day and at night throughout our stay. During our walk, Hotel staff kindly approached us and even took photos of us together. After returning home, I received an email from my mother saying, "This was the most fulfilling and enjoyable memory I've ever had." Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Hotel for your thoughtful gestures that made this birthday truly unforgettable.

    Club floor access with breakfast included

    I booked the Club Floor as staying there allows access to the lounge. I checked in at 3:00 PM and went to the lounge for tea, but it was crowded, and I couldn't get in. I was told to wait for about an hour. Waiting for an hour felt like a waste of time, so I decided to go out instead. It was disappointing.

    The cherry blossoms ...

    The cherry blossoms in the garden were at their best, and the nighttime illumination was truly beautiful. Although it is a bit far from Shinagawa Station, you can take a shuttle bus from Shinagawa Prince Hotel, which I recommend using. It is a very calm and relaxing Hotel with kind staff, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable and peaceful time after a long while.

    Sorry for the late r...

    Sorry for the late review. Thank you so much for arranging my wife's favorite room again this time. We had a relaxing time enjoying drinks in the lounge. I hesitated to mention this, but regarding the spa at Sakura Tower: In the men's bath, most of the guests were foreigners (which is understandable), but I noticed some individuals with full upper-body tattoos. This was quite surprising, and I hope it can be addressed as it might discourage Japanese guests from using the facility. Other than that, everything was comfortable, and we look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

    Relax in the serene garden.

    During my stays in Tokyo, I always choose this Hotel. I always book a Room on the garden side, where the greenery is truly soothing. The meals are delicious at any restaurant, with great views, making my stay at the Hotel enjoyable.

    I was initially worr...

    I was initially worried that the Facility might be outdated, but the bathroom was clean and easy to use. There were no skincare products like lotion in the Room, and I found it inconvenient to go to the front desk, so I gave up. Unfortunately, it was a cold rainy day, so the view of Tokyo Tower from the Room was blurry and disappointing. The garden illumination is beautiful, but it might be better to visit when it's warmer. The club lounge was convenient and not crowded, making it easy to use comfortably. Having beer available all day is a nice touch for a relaxing stay.

    Last summer vacation, I stayed at Shin-Takanawa and this time I invited my parents and sister to stay at Takanawa as well. Both have their good points, but I've become a fan of Takanawa. The lobby is calm, and the staff were friendly yet courteous in their service. Although lounge hopping was possible, I found the comfort of Hanamiyabi (Hanamiyabi) so pleasant that I spent most of my time there. If given another opportunity, I would like to stay again.

    Cheap and clean, but requires measures against dryness.

    For a hotel where two people can stay for 20,000 yen, it was sufficient. There was free water available, and we stayed without inconvenience. When heading from Shinagawa Station on foot, it's recommended to go towards the Grand Prince Shin Takanawa and enter through the hotel's garden. If I were to mention any drawbacks, although it's inevitable for a hotel, it was very dry and my throat was parched when I woke up in the morning. Also, during check-in, I wasn't informed about the location of the elevator and got lost (solved by looking at a map).

    A sense of security for adults, and a little more...

    As always, I appreciate the stable response of the staff. I was able to enjoy a luxurious and comfortable stay as I was upgraded due to a vacancy and my requests for wine glasses for in-room drinking were accommodated. While the property undeniably shows some age, there are no particular complaints. I have one request: when my partner wanted to use a stand mirror (makeup mirror), we couldn't find it in any drawer. The large mirror on the desk board might serve that purpose, but it's clearly different in terms of usability. Please consider providing one. Despite my various comments, I will continue to use this property as my regular choice. Thank you very much.

    Relaxing in the loun...

    Relaxing in the lounge and enjoying the hotel's sauna, which my husband loves, I thought he would be pleased. We used it to celebrate his birthday. A calm and elegant lobby, hallways with a pleasant fragrance, and kind reception staff heightened our expectations for the hotel stay. We stayed on the 14th floor in February. There was a stink bug on the pillow. The window was not open. I spent time worrying that there might be bugs throughout the room or that they might come out of the bathroom drain, which made it hard to fully relax. I believe they will increase from spring to summer, so pest control and cleaning would be greatly appreciated. Also, there were no skincare amenities like makeup remover available, so please bring your own if you plan to visit.

    A refined hotel where you can relax

    We stayed as a mother and daughter. We arrived before 3 PM, but since the room was ready, we were allowed to check in early. All the staff members were wonderful and experienced in customer service. The room was clean, and except for the window frames, it didn't feel old. The bath and toilet seemed a bit dated, but they were cleaned well and comfortable to use. The bed was also very comfortable to sleep on. Since our room was near the elevator, we could hear people's voices until around 11 PM. I thought that was a bit noisy, but it's not the hotel's fault. The nighttime garden illumination was lovely and could be viewed from our room. For breakfast, we chose the buffet at Shin-Takanawa Prince Hotel (Shin Takanawa Purinsu Hoteru). The hotel’s special curry was very delicious. We also added mentaiko or salmon roe on rice. My daughter said she loved the honey on pancakes and poured plenty of it. Not only is it close to Shinagawa Station (Shinagawa Eki), but all of the staff are pleasant, kind, polite, making us feel secure during our stay; I would love to visit again.

    One of my favorite H...

    One of my favorite Hotels. Things I like: 1. Being able to use the Sakura Tower's bath. You can relax in the jacuzzi. 2. Access to two lounges in Takanawa. Each offers a different kind of enjoyment. 3. The wide variety of drinks in the lounge. Disappointing points: 1. No longer being able to use the Sakura Tower lounge. 2. Unable to check-in and check-out at the lounge. 3. Would like to have a few hot meals in the lounge. Overall, it is a highly satisfying Hotel.

    My parents stayed here over the New Year holidays and enjoyed taking photos in the beautiful garden. The service was excellent, and they were able to relax and welcome the New Year comfortably.

    Panoramic view from the window

    I was looking forward to enjoying the view from the Room with a garden and Tokyo Tower view, as well as lounge hopping. As a result, it was a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much for providing us with a nice Room. From the large windows, we could see greenery and temples, and beyond that, the Tokyo Tower and skyscrapers, offering a view that could be enjoyed both day and night. We were able to admire the historical buildings and pond within the garden, and also enjoy the bamboo lights at night. It was nice that the lounges in Takanawa and Shin-Takanawa changed their food and sweets. I liked the tea time at Takanawa and the cocktail time at the Shin-Takanawa lounge. Although it is an old Hotel, the Room was beautifully renovated, and the interior was calm and relaxing.

    It was a very good Hotel. It was within walking distance from the station, there was a convenience store, and the dawn view of Tokyo Tower was very beautiful. The Hotel staff were also very polite. However, I thought the breakfast had a little less variety.

    I couldn't sleep well because it was noisy at night.

    This Hotel is quiet, so I stay here several times a year. The Hotel is old, but it is well cleaned, and the service and meals are excellent. However, from night until midnight, there was a continuous loud noise from the upper floor, like doors closing or something, and I couldn't sleep well. I hope this can be improved.

    A space where you can feel the greenery while being in the city!

    It is our regular stay to relieve the daily fatigue at our home. During the day, our sons enjoyed the gym and sauna, while my spouse and I leisurely strolled through the garden and relaxed in the lounge. In the evening, we spent quality time together in the lounge with drinks and delicious snacks. We would like to visit again during the New Year. Thank you for the wonderful time!

    There was only one disappointing thing.

    I have stayed at Takanawa several times. The blanket was set on the bed in the room, the bathrobe was soft, and the bed was comfortable, allowing me to relax without feeling cold. The convenience store on the first floor was also very convenient. Club Lounge Hanamiyabi is my favorite lounge, and since it was New Year's, the lounge breakfast included ozoni, abalone, king crab, salmon roe, and other osechi dishes, all of which were elegantly seasoned, allowing us to enjoy a graceful New Year. The staff at Hanamiyabi always make the stay even more comfortable with their attentive service and demeanor. This time, there was a guest causing trouble in the lounge, which concerned me, but a staff member who seemed to be a manager handled it smartly and skillfully, which was impressive. However, there was one disappointing thing. The response of the female staff at check-in. First, I was told that the room was not ready yet and to wait in the lobby for about 5 minutes and then return to the front desk. When I asked if I could wait in the lounge until the room was ready, I was told I couldn't because I didn't have a room key. After 5 minutes, I returned to the front desk and was told it was still not ready and to wait a little longer and return to the front desk. After another 10 minutes, I returned and was told it was still not ready and was sent back to the lobby again. My husband, losing patience, explained the situation to the lounge staff, who checked and said they would bring the room key to the lounge once the room was ready. Eventually, after more than 30 minutes, another male staff member and the lounge staff brought the key, for which I was grateful. I was not at all upset about waiting for more than 30 minutes, but the female staff's response, saying the lounge couldn't be used and to return to the front desk repeatedly, was disappointing. I understand the rule that the lounge can't be used, but there was no apology despite returning to the front desk multiple times, and the way of speaking was inflexible. Couldn't it have been handled a bit better? She didn't seem like a newcomer, but it was very sad as it was the start of the stay. All the other staff provided very good service. It was enjoyable. Thank you very much.
