    It was a perfect sta...

    It was a perfect stay—10 out of 10. Of course, the reasonable price was a big factor, but I chose this Accommodation without especially high expectations, mainly for the location and name recognition. The illuminated garden was truly beautiful. There was a system where an AI provides various information, and even rental items were hung on the doorknob at the requested time. The next morning’s newspaper was also delivered to my Room. The Room felt very clean. The towels were bright white, and I found myself thinking, “Is it really okay for it to be this price?” I took a walk in the garden last time as well, but this nighttime walk was the best. Thank you very much.

    Staying with Club Lounge access and taking a stroll through the Japanese garden while enjoying lounges with different atmospheres was truly wonderful.

    We enjoyed lounge hopping as a family! We’d love to visit again.

    I came mainly to enjoy the wonderful architecture by Togo Murano (such as the neighboring Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa, Pamir), and chose a Club Floor stay with a lounge-hopping Plan so my family could enjoy it too. We used Lounge Hanamiyabi and the Club Lounge at Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa for afternoon tea, cocktail time, and breakfast. With IKYU Diamond benefits, we also had a 12:00 late check-out, so we enjoyed another drink before leaving. We loved every minute of it! Since children are not allowed during cocktail time, we stepped out and took turns so each parent could use the lounge. It was nice to have some time alone. Even while waiting, time flew by as we strolled through the illuminated garden or walked over to Tully’s at Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa. The buildings are large and glamorous, so walking around indoors and outdoors was great exercise—and our child seemed to really enjoy feeding the koi as well. When staying at a Hotel with a young child, we usually worry about where to eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner and whether there will be suitable options, and researching everything can be tiring. This time was easy thanks to lounge hopping plus Momiji at Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa—and for late-night snacks and sweets, there were plenty of choices including the 7-Eleven on the 1st floor. When our child is a bit older, I’d like to try the restaurants too. The Room and bath were clean, Tokyo Tower was clearly visible, and since the garden stays well lit even late at night, it felt safe when moving over to Sakura Tower’s sauna and whirlpool bath area. The only downside is that bath facilities close a bit early. They also prepared children’s amenities for us—especially the yukata was adorable, and we took lots of photos. We’d love to visit again!

    Bed (sleep) prioritized

    This time, the Room was small. As always, the staff were wonderful, and it was a very comfortable stay. The Room was small and had no table and only one chair, so when my partner and I had a beer after a bath, we used the shelf (which seemed to be set up as a business desk) by the window to place our canned beers. The bathroom had been renovated and was clean. That said, I will be staying again next week and the week after when I come to Tokyo, so thank you in advance.

    A Certain Event

    I’m hooked on the Tokyo Tower view and the relaxing lounge atmosphere.\nHowever, this time I had a disappointing experience in the lounge: while I stepped away during my meal, everything was cleared away!\nMy snacks…\nI was still within the designated hours and only went to get a drink—so why? And it happened in both the Takanawa and Shin-Takanawa lounges. I leave my napkin on the sofa when I step away, but with so many different guests, perhaps that kind of etiquette doesn’t matter. While a staff member wiped down my table with alcohol, I stood there holding my drink, and being told “Please wait a moment” as if I were a newly arrived guest felt really disheartening.\nMaybe I should have said something at the time, but it was nearly full and I didn’t have the courage—so I’m posting here instead.\nI understand it can be hard to tell whether someone has just stepped away or has left for good, so having some kind of marker—like the “still eating” cards often used in dining areas—would be helpful.\nAlso, personally, I’d love for Mio (sparkling sake) to come back!\nStill, the scent throughout the Hotel, the scent of Erbaviva shampoo, and even Tokyo Tower itself soothe me—and help me get back to work refreshed.

    Takanawa is one of m...

    Takanawa is one of my favorite areas thanks to its wonderful atmosphere. I’ve stayed several times because I love that booking the club floor includes lounge access. Visiting both lounges, I enjoyed draft beer and wine and had a great time. The courtyard is also lovely, with a pond where koi swim, and it’s beautifully illuminated at night. I’m glad I was able to stay at a great rate through IKYU.

    Following last week’s stay at Shin-Takanawa, this week we stayed in Takanawa. We truly appreciated the attentive service and support from all the staff in many areas, including luggage storage, guidance to the changing Room, and parking validation. Thank you for upgrading our Room to a Corner King—we were able to relax comfortably until noon. The sink, toilet, and bath area had been renovated and were very clean. My partner must have felt so comfortable that they slept soundly until 10 a.m. (laughs). We will be staying again next month as well. We look forward to your continued support.

    Enjoy the Club Lounge

    I love the garden view from the club lounge. I enjoyed all of the food and drinks provided, and the Japanese breakfast in particular was especially delicious. The Room is spacious and comfortable, so I can truly relax. It’s also great that you can use the Sakura Tower spa. Every staff member was polite and pleasant. This is a Hotel that makes me want to come back again.

    Enjoy lounge hopping.

    Each lounge had its own特色—such as Japanese and Western sweets, and Japanese- and Western-style snacks—so we enjoyed it without getting bored. It was a bit disappointing that the bathroom was a unit bath even though we booked a Club Floor stay Plan.

    Showa Retro Hotel

    Although renovated, the Room and furnishings retain a vintage Showa-era charm, which some may find appealing. I might be one of those people, but the small bathroom is quite inconvenient. Aside from that, it is a calm and relaxing Hotel with attentive front desk staff and a garden that showcases seasonal beauty. Additionally, the breakfast buffet is always something to look forward to with its excellent variety and delicious offerings. I sincerely hope this Hotel remains for years to come.

    This was my several stay as I always feel refreshed here. I was delighted by the celebration for my special occasion. Once again, I enjoyed lounge hopping during this visit. It wasn’t too crowded, and I spent a graceful time admiring the garden view. The food had slightly changed since my last visit, and I was surprised to see a pancake machine introduced. The pancakes with fruits were delicious and fun to enjoy. The selection of drinks, including beer and café menu items, remained excellent as always (though it was disappointing that cider from Shin-Takanawa was no longer available). The garden was well-maintained as usual, making the stroll pleasant, especially on the way to Sakura Tower’s bath area—it felt refreshing. The light-up display captivated me for a while. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff's service reflected their first-class professionalism—truly befitting of an established hotel. From my room where I relaxed while gazing outside, Tokyo Tower stood beautifully in full view right in front of me—I deeply appreciated being assigned such a wonderful room. The bedding felt so comfortable that it made me not want to get up. Once again, this stay healed me completely—thank you for providing such a wonderful time!

    Quiet with beautiful views.

    We stayed as a family and had a wonderful experience. The staff's greetings and hospitality made our stay very pleasant. The quiet ambiance of the hotel and the guest room, along with the stunning view of Tokyo Tower, were truly impressive. We also enjoyed exploring the Japanese garden and admiring the interior furnishings throughout the property. Thanks to your excellent service, we had a memorable experience.     Thank you for a satisfying day.

    I used the lounge before, but this was my first time staying at the accommodation. The day before, I stayed at Shin-Takanawa, but it wasn’t on the Tower side. This time, I chose a Takanawa Tower Side Guaranteed Plan, which was perfect. They accommodated an early check-in and held my luggage for me, which was very helpful. The room was smaller than Shin-Takanawa’s rooms, but since I stayed alone and had a view of Tokyo Tower, it didn’t bother me. However, when I returned to my room after 7 PM and took a bath around 8 PM, then turned off the TV around 9 PM to enjoy the quiet while looking at Tokyo Tower lights—suddenly there were loud banging noises like "Don! Don!" At first it was just annoying noise; however even after 40-50 minutes passed continuously ongoing sound made sleeping difficult so called front desk reporting issue initially told them if still persists past midnight will notify again yet situation remained unresolved hence contacted again later upon second call informed upper floors fully booked instead arranged another same-floor alternative quieter Room option provided additionally allowed access both original & new Rooms simultaneously moved immediately into newly prepared peaceful environment enjoyed uninterrupted view until tower light-out fell asleep comfortably thanks restful night overall appreciated their assistance greatly! Enjoyed Lounge experience too though not fond beer preferred drinking sparkling sake “Mio” available anytime morning-afternoon-evening Tea-time Honey-flavored tea delicious Dinner-time mixed cocktails self-prepared paired tasty dishes although repetitive menu noticed consecutive stays between properties understandable Overall satisfied Thankful!

    Convenient and Comfortable

    The garden is stylishly decorated, and the illuminations at night were beautiful. There are photo spots designed for great pictures. Although it was a bit disappointing that the bathroom and toilet were not separate, considering the age of the building, it seemed understandable. The lobby and rooms have been beautifully renovated. I stayed on the club floor again this time, and despite being a Saturday, the price was quite reasonable, so I would like to stay here again. Its proximity to Shinagawa and availability of an airport shuttle bus make it convenient; there were more international guests, but the staff was experienced and efficient.

    I have stayed on this club floor many times. The hospitality at Takanawa is consistently excellent, making my stay comfortable and reassuring. The garden is wonderful, and walking around it is enjoyable. I always look forward to the draft beer and hors d'oeuvres in the lounge. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

    Comparable to a Business Hotel

    Most of the staff lacked any smile. Everything felt purely business-like. Neither particularly good nor bad, it feels appropriate to describe it as comparable to a Business Hotel. However, the garden was beautiful.

    As always, excellent.

    I have stayed here several times already. As always, it is calm and pleasant. However, I was surprised at first to find renovation work being done from the main entrance to the parking lot, as I was unaware of it. As a result, I ended up using the garden entrance more often. I would love to stay again when the opportunity arises.

    A relaxing space in the heart of the city.

    A family tradition for us. Our family gathers once a year at "Takanawa." Convenient access to the city center and Haneda, while offering a relaxing stay in the city. We enjoy the lounge during tea time and cocktail time. The view of the beautiful garden makes it an exceptional experience, enhancing our enjoyment of drinks. Please note that children under elementary school age are not allowed in during evening hours, so families with young children should be aware. It would be appreciated if cocktail time could be extended a bit longer. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options. Starting the day with a meal while enjoying a different view of the garden compared to nighttime is perfect for kicking off your day. A highly revisited Hotel!

    New Year's Holiday

    I booked a room with club lounge access because I wanted to do nothing during the New Year holidays. Did I choose the wrong room? It was very small. However, I endured it since I could see Tokyo Tower. Unfortunately, I caught a cold on the day and couldn't explore the Hotel or enjoy daytime drinks in the club lounge. I also missed visiting Toranomon Hills and Azabudai Hills as planned. It turned out to be a disappointing New Year's accommodation experience.

    Prince Grand Takanawa

    As a long-time repeat guest, I have always loved this Hotel, especially as the meals have improved over the years. However, this time was truly disappointing. The most important point in any Review is the quality of breakfast, and unfortunately, it has changed. A year ago, the steamed vegetables were delicious. This time, even the broccoli seemed frozen? The lotus root lacked texture and felt like frozen food—it would have been better not to serve it at all. While I understand that vegetable prices are high, could you consider creative recipes using sweet potatoes or leafy greens like cabbage with nuts? The sweet red bean soup was also disappointing—lacking sweetness and substance—which made me genuinely sad. Couldn’t there be more effort in sourcing ingredients? With global warming changing everything and imported goods becoming expensive due to currency depreciation, I understand the challenges; however, simply changing items for appearance feels negligent on the Hotel's part. This is a Hotel originally built by Seibu Group; I hope its founding principles can be revisited. Foreign ownership risks losing Japan’s unique qualities—it’s heartbreaking to see Sakura Tower lose its charm. It’s not enough to say “it used to be good.” How will operations improve moving forward? Please explore more domestic products within Japan. This Hotel boasts a magnificent garden—a true pride worth showcasing!

    I had stayed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel several times before, but this was my first time here. The atmosphere was calm, and the view of Tokyo Tower from the room was fantastic. The location is convenient, and I would love to stay here again.

    A very lovely Hotel ...

    A very lovely Hotel with a calm atmosphere. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, making the check-in process pleasant.
