Hotel Continental Fuchu

A 2-minute walk from Fuchu Station. This is a city Hotel with a directly managed farm, "Tohoku Ranch," in Aomori Prefecture. Enjoy ingredients such as completely pesticide-free vegetables, herbs, wild plants, and branded eggs cultivated through circular agriculture using compost from thoroughbred production and breeding. Savor seasonal dishes crafted by the Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine chefs and the executive chef at the three in-house restaurants.

Located in Shichinohe-Towada, Aomori Prefecture, "Tohoku Farm" was established in 1917 (Taisho 6) as a thoroughbred production, training, and breeding farm. Since then, it has been engaged in sustainable agriculture utilizing compost from thoroughbreds. Out of its total area of approximately 100 hectares, about 10 hectares are dedicated to cultivating vegetables and herbs without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and the farm is also challenging itself with pesticide-free and chemical-free rice cultivation. Additionally, the poultry farm produces branded eggs, "Aodama" and "Akadama," with about 800 chickens being raised. Since no chemicals are used in the soil, wild vegetables and herbs naturally growing on the premises are also harvested. Throughout the seasons, about 100 types of ingredients are directly delivered to the Hotel, emphasizing coexistence with nature and making the most of its abundant natural blessings.

The afternoon tea at the hotel's Colt restaurant features desserts made with an abundance of fresh wild herbs from the directly managed "Tohoku Farm," a popular menu that changes with the seasons.
