In 2023, we opened new detached special suites featuring a private sauna and an open-air bath. In summer 2025, our main-building Japanese-Western rooms will also be renovated. With open-air baths at the main-building large public bath, a panoramic bath on the top floor of the West Wing, and 28 rooms (out of 44) offering in-room open-air baths—plus 6 ocean-view guest rooms with Onsen baths—you can fully enjoy private bathing. We promise you a relaxing, luxurious stay for adults. We take pride in our 100% free-flowing natural hot spring water from our own source—never diluted—and delivered directly from the spring. Dinner highlights seasonal flavors along with the signature touches of “Kaikatei Hana Gozen.” For both dinner and breakfast, we use no pre-made items; everything is carefully prepared by our skilled chefs. Savor Tango’s finest freshness to your heart’s content: exceptionally fresh seasonal seafood made possible by our seafood wholesaler operation, fruit from our own farm, and 100% Tango Koshihikari rice. Enjoy a colorful array of dishes featuring “seafood” available year-round and “Japanese Black Wagyu,” as well as winter’s king delicacy, Matsuba crab—showcasing seasonal ingredients from Kyoto by the Sea.
