A world-renowned art museum Hotel — THE POWER OF LEGEND

Opened in October 2025 on a site overlooking Nagoya Castle, which brought 260 years of prosperity to Owari Nagoya, this Hotel is based on the concept of an “art museum Hotel the world can be proud of.” Artworks throughout the building—featuring motifs such as Rinpo Kiryū (Kirin, Phoenix, Turtle, and Dragon) and “kachō fūgetsu” (flowers, birds, wind, and moon)—are showcased alongside Japanese craftsmanship. All 100 guest rooms feature a balcony and a view bath. The Hotel also offers six “Art Collection” suite rooms created by six artists. The Hotel has eight restaurants. On the 4th-floor restaurant level, you will find a specialty French restaurant as well as Japanese cuisine, sushi, tempura, teppanyaki, and more. In the basement is a spa & fitness area featuring luxury product treatments such as “Lapidem,” made with naturally derived ingredients (the first in the Tokai region), and “Augustinus Bader,” favored by celebrities worldwide. Facilities also include a pool and natural Onsen bathing facilities. Multiple banquet venues are available as well, including a banquet room that can accommodate up to 1,700 guests.

    Thank you, as always, for a wonderful stay experience.With this visit, I have successfully completed my 8th stay, and have now completed two full rounds of all four venues included in the “Gastronomy Plan.”Compared to when I first stayed, the staff’s service feels even more composed, and I truly sense that an excellent environment has been established. The quality of the club lounge has also improved significantly, making my stay even more comfortable. I am scheduled to stay again next month and am very much looking forward to it. It is wonderful to see the General Manager and all staff members growing day by day as you aim to become one of Japan’s top Hotels.This is a Hotel I hope will continue striving for even greater heights.Reviewer FACT: Certified sommelier.   • The entire Hotel is a work of art.

    I stayed for one night in April. I had previously stayed at the former Castle Hotel and was curious to see how it had changed after the renovation, so I decided to book a stay. From the exterior to the entrance and all the way to reception, I was overwhelmed by the lavish spaces. Everything is luxuriously designed, yet brought together with exceptional taste and elegance. Breakfast was excellent, and I also enjoyed the pool and morning yoga experience, but above all, the in-house art tour was outstanding. The female staff member who guided us listened attentively to what we had to say, which made it an especially meaningful time for me. It was a truly one-of-a-kind experience unique to this Hotel. Thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff, I’ve gained another wonderful memory. Thank you very much!

Our Hotel inherits the legacy of Nagoya Castle and the Owari Tokugawa clan, which prospered for 260 years, and was born in a rare location facing the castle moat. Since opening in 1969, we have also carefully carried on the history of the former Hotel Nagoya Castle, long cherished here, and will continue to pass its traditions on to the future.
