Enjoy gold and silver Onsen at a seven-room resort Ryokan overlooking Miyazu Bay.

Amanohashidate Rikyu Hoshine is located in Miyazu City, home to Amanohashidate—one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views. Facing Miyazu Bay, it offers an exceptional setting with beautiful sea views and, on clear nights, a star-filled sky. With only seven Rooms, each featuring a different concept, your stay is designed to be truly enjoyed in the Room itself. Take in the ocean view while enjoying your private pool and two types of Onsen whenever you like. Cuisine features seafood from both the calm inland sea and the open sea, along with fresh vegetables sourced from contracted local farmers. Enjoy our modern Japanese creative kaiseki course that highlights seasonal ingredients at their best. Welcoming only seven parties per day, this is a special space worthy of being called a private resort—please relax and enjoy at your leisure.

  • Third stay. A Room with a pool, Kin-sen and Gin-sen hot springs, and a sauna—an endless loop from the bath to the pool to the sauna, then back to the pool and bath! You’ll feel completely refreshed. Dinner, as always, is exquisite cuisine rooted in Japanese flavors with refined Western touches. In the end, what truly stands out is the superb dashi. It’s not cheap, but I highly recommend choosing a Room with a sauna. The sauna Rooms also feature Tempur-Pedic beds for incredibly comfortable sleep—like sleeping on clouds. You can enjoy a relaxing day with your special partner.

  • Dinner included some Western-style dishes as well, and everything was delicious. The lobby’s complimentary drinks offered a great variety, and we enjoyed plenty without hesitation. We thoroughly enjoyed the Room’s Onsen (gold and silver springs), sauna, and pool many times. Thank you very much. We look forward to visiting again in a different season to enjoy the meals and Onsen!

■Kin Onsen (Open-air bath) A natural seawater Onsen with “thalassotherapy” benefits. This Onsen allows your skin to absorb minerals and other nutrients found in seawater, and is regarded as one of the most important elements of thalassotherapy, a practice with a long history. Minerals—one of the five essential nutrients—are expected to help activate cells, support the body’s natural rhythm, and promote the body’s innate healing abilities, offering a range of potential health and beauty benefits. Its spring quality is excellent at retaining heat, so you’ll stay warm long after bathing for deep relaxation. It is said to be especially beneficial for skin concerns such as atopic dermatitis, and is a rare Onsen in Japan that has drawn attention as a detox bath that supports healthy metabolism. *Please use the designated towel when bathing.*

■Gin Onsen (Indoor Bath) This Onsen is known as a natural “beauty lotion,” containing the skin-beautifying mineral metasilicic acid, which helps create smooth, finely textured skin. Metasilicic acid is also used in moisturizing skincare products and supports the balance of ceramides in the skin. The water is mild and silky to the touch, leaving your skin with a radiant moisture. Because it is well suited for promoting beautiful skin like a natural “beauty lotion,” it is also called the “Onsen of Beauty.” It is especially recommended for guests prone to dry skin, as it warms you thoroughly and offers excellent moisturizing benefits—making it particularly popular with women. Two types of natural hot spring waters with completely different qualities are available in every Room. Please enjoy an elegant stay in your own luxurious private space.

Meals are served in our dining area; however, we take every possible measure to avoid crowding. ・In addition to standard Room cleaning, we disinfect and wipe down Rooms using alcohol-based sanitizing solution. In particular, all Rooms are thoroughly disinfected on frequently touched surfaces (doorknobs, drawer and refrigerator handles, remote controls, switches, etc.). ・Enhanced cleaning in shared areas such as the lobby and lounge ・Thorough ventilation during cleaning ・Avoiding consecutive use of Rooms as much as possible ・Alcohol sanitizer available at reception ・High-temperature washing of tableware (plates and glasses) and cutlery ・Staff wear masks while serving guests within the property ・Strict staff health and hygiene management (temperature checks before work; regular disinfection) ・When using the restaurant: limiting entry numbers and arranging private rooms whenever possible ・When using the in-Room pool: adding pool chlorine ・Strict monitoring of residual chlorine levels
