  • Puppy’s First Trip

    This was our first stay with our dog.All the staff remembered our dog’s name and called him by it, and we could truly feel everyone’s love for dogs, which made our stay very warm and comforting.The Room was very clean, and there was no odor at all—something that can often be a concern at dog-friendly Accommodations. The food was also excellent, and our dog happily finished his meal for dogs.We think this is a wonderful Accommodation where both dogs and their owners can relax with peace of mind. We would definitely like to stay again.

  • First Visit to Hakone Ungaiso

    For trips with our dog, we always choose the Regina group Hotels for their outstanding staff hospitality. This time, we finally made our first visit to this property, which we’d had our eye on for a while. With just 10 Rooms, it’s a compact Facility where you can complete everything—check-in and check-out, an open-air Onsen bath with excellent water quality, and carefully crafted kaiseki cuisine—all in your Room. The morning soak while enjoying views of the Hakone outer rim mountains from our second-floor Room was simply the best.

    A natural hot-spring-fed Onsen pool exclusively for dogs—opening soon!!

    Our popular, dog-only free-flowing Onsen pool is now open again this year!

    A truly luxurious free-flowing pool, unique to Ungaiso with its own private hot spring source.
    (On extremely hot days, water may be added to adjust the temperature.)

    This alkaline spring pool is known to be gentle on dogs’ skin and coat.
    Enjoy a special time watching your dog’s happy smile as they splash and play.

    “Can my dog swim?”
    No worries—life jackets for small and medium-sized dogs are available, so even first-time swimmers can enjoy safely.
    We also provide a dryer, towels, and a slicker brush.

    Starting this year, we’ve also introduced a night pool.
    Swimsuits, aloha shirts, and sunglasses are available—please take photos and videos of your dog enjoying their vacation!

    No Reservation required (available from check-in until 20:30).

We have also adjusted our services to allow you to enjoy your stay with your dog in a safe environment by avoiding "Three Cs" (closed spaces, crowded places, close-contact settings) as part of our efforts to prevent the spread of infection. Regina Resort Hakone Ungaiso is a specialized accommodation with only 10 private rooms. As such, we do not offer banquet or day-use lunch services, allowing guests to enjoy their stay without concerns about crowding or close contact. Implementation Period: Until further notice based on the status of COVID-19 infections. *Please note that these measures may be updated according to government and related authorities' guidelines. [Hygiene Measures] Alcohol Disinfection: We disinfect areas that may be touched by multiple people several times a day using alcohol-based sanitizers. In-room Infection Prevention: Before check-in, we thoroughly ventilate rooms and sanitize frequently touched areas such as door handles, remote controls, switches, and windows. Each room features large windows and spacious terraces where you can relax while enjoying fresh air from nature.
