Thank you for your thoughtful emails even before our stay.On the day, our flight was suddenly canceled and we had to take the ferry, but you quickly adjusted the rental car arrangements.The food was cooked right in front of us, and both the taste and portions were excellent; the drinks were delicious too.The hot spring water quality was great,and we were able to truly relax in both body and mind.Everything was perfect!
鶴子さん 7/27/2026We returned after hearing the guest rooms had been newly renovated.There were plenty of towels, and the bath had a lovely hinoki scent.It was a bit disappointing that the TV was old.We upgraded our dinner, and it included everything we wanted—very satisfying.The sea urchin in particular was outstanding!Only the Iki beef felt a bit too fatty for us adults.

We approach each ingredient with simplicity and never compromise. We cook and serve only the finest ingredients, freshly harvested and at peak freshness, right on the spot. Even in major cities like Tokyo and Osaka, top-quality ingredients can be gathered from around the world, but they cannot be cooked in Iki at the moment they are harvested. In most cases, ingredients are aged to draw out their flavor, chefs add various touches to enhance both taste and presentation, and dishes are beautifully plated on exquisite tableware before being served. That is wonderful in its own way, but what we offer at Kairi cannot be replicated in the city. And of course, Iki’s flavors can only be enjoyed by coming to Kairi.
All rooms feature ocean views and private open-air baths with free-flowing natural hot spring water.
The golden, shimmering Onsen at Kairi Murakami is classified as “hypertonic,” indicating a rich mineral content. Long cherished by the local community, it has been valued as a therapeutic bath known for its minerals’ ability to penetrate the skin. With strong antibacterial and moisturizing properties, it is also a rare spring quality prized as a “beauty bath,” gently removing dead skin cells while keeping the skin hydrated.
