    My sister and I planned this trip to make my elderly parents’ wish to “come again” come true, and we returned for the first time in three years. My father, who has limited mobility, was hospitalized a few times during those three years, so we were truly happy that we could all visit again together.In the barrier-free connecting room we stayed in this time, you had already prepared the same items as last time—such as a dining table and shower chair—before we even asked. Thanks to that, my father was able to relax and fully enjoy the hot springs he loves, and we had a very comfortable stay.Every dish over both nights was delicious, with so many courses that we enjoyed them with our eyes as well. Thank you also for your thoughtful celebration—it became an unforgettable memory for our family.We are grateful for everything: the cheerful and attentive care from the staff member in charge of our room, the warm hospitality from all staff, and the station pick-up/drop-off service with a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.This parent-child trip was only possible because of Aoyama Yamato, and we were able to spend peaceful time with my parents again after so long.This is an inn where we feel safe returning again and again.Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

  • A quiet and relaxing place to stay.

    This was our second stay.They prepared a spacious room on the 6th floor, which was convenient as it was on the same floor as the large public bath.There was a wide variety of yukata patterns, and it was fun to choose the colors for the obi and tabi socks as well.The meals were served in a private dining room, beautifully presented in colorful dishes, with delicate and refined flavors.I especially love sweets, so I was happy to enjoy three different desserts.The hot springs were wonderful—especially the open-air bath with its great view.It’s a quiet place where you can relax at your own pace, so I recommend it for anyone who enjoys taking things slow.I would love to stay here again.

  • Regarding Operations in the Event of a Natural Disaster

    1. Suspension of Services in the Event of Natural Disasters In the event of a power outage, the in-house elevators, water supply systems, and air-conditioning systems will stop. Bathing Facilities such as the large public bath will be unavailable, and we will also be unable to provide meals. As for lighting, emergency generators are available; however, only emergency indirect lighting will be provided (up to 2 hours). *Please note that it will be dimmer than normal lighting. In addition, if it is unsafe for staff to commute, we may be unable to provide in-person services. Therefore, if a typhoon with a risk of severe damage is approaching; if an “Alert” is issued under major earthquake advisory information; or if the Japan Meteorological Agency issues Alert Level 5 (“Special Warning”) for Ito City under its disaster prevention weather information, we may contact you in advance to terminate your Accommodation contract and suspend Ryokan operations. 2. When Typhoon Track Forecasts May Affect the Izu Peninsula and Public Transportation If the track forecast two days prior indicates a high likelihood that the typhoon will affect the Izu Peninsula, we will waive the Cancellation Fee. If you wish to cancel, please be sure to contact us by phone. If you made a Reservation with advance payment and cancel it yourself online/apply self-cancellation procedures, a Cancellation Fee may still be deducted. Likewise, if train services are suspended or expressways are closed on your check-in date due to weather conditions, no Cancellation Fee will be charged. In this case as well, please be sure to contact us by phone. 3. When Weather Alerts at JMA Alert Level 4 or Higher Are Issued for Ito City or Along Your Travel Route/Residential Area If disaster prevention weather information at JMA Alert Level 4 or higher is issued for your area of residence, along your travel route (itinerary), or for Ito City—and travel is deemed dangerous—we will also waive the Cancellation Fee. As with typhoons approaching our area, if you wish to cancel please be sure to contact us by phone.

About Hygiene Measures
At Aoyama Yamato, we are implementing the following measures as part of our COVID-19 prevention efforts to ensure a safe stay for all our guests. ● We conduct temperature checks for all guests at check-in. ● Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are installed throughout the facility. Please use the alcohol-based hand sanitizer provided at the entrance (in front of the front desk) upon arrival. ● All service staff wear masks and gloves. For the health and safety of our guests and staff, all service staff wear masks and gloves while on duty. ● We strictly manage the temperature and health conditions (such as fatigue, cough, headache) of all staff upon arrival at work. If a staff member has a temperature of 37.0 degrees or higher, or exhibits symptoms such as fatigue, cough, or headache, they are prohibited from coming to work for several days. ● Lounge seating at check-in is arranged to maintain distance between guests. In the 1F lounge, we guide guests to sit with a table's distance between them to ensure they do not sit too close to each other. ● We use FE Clean Water to disinfect and sanitize guest rooms, the lobby, and the large public bath before check-in. *FE Clean Water is a weak alkaline aqueous solution with sodium hypochlorite as the main component, obtained by electrolyzing saline water. It can be used for disinfection of rooms as well as for washing and sterilizing food. - Thorough disinfection inside guest rooms In addition to regular cleaning, we thoroughly wipe down rooms with FE Clean Water. We disinfect door knobs, telephone receivers, light switches, toilet levers, shoehorns, and more. - Disinfection and cleaning of public spaces such as the lobby, lounge, and large public bath are conducted thoroughly several times a day. - Keys to guest rooms and elevator buttons, as well as any surfaces touched by hands, are disinfected with alcohol or FE Clean Water. ● Guests with fever symptoms are kindly requested to refrain from entering the facility. In the case of reservation cancellations due to fever symptoms, the cancellation fee is waived.
