All the staff are wonderful, making this an excellent Hotel. The free, spacious parking is also a plus. Breakfast was very satisfying, and starting at 6:00 a.m. is very convenient for early departures. You need to be careful when climbing up and down the Room’s bunk bed, but you can sleep well. Above all, it offers outstanding value for money. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

In addition to the unbeatable location directly connected to Kyoto Station, I was impressed by the staff’s courteous and heartfelt service. The Hotel has a calm atmosphere, and the room was spotless, allowing me to relax in comfort. Even after a long day of sightseeing, stepping into the Hotel immediately brought a sense of relief and reassurance. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, each one carefully prepared. It also had a distinct Kyoto touch, making it a wonderful way to start the day. More than just convenience, the staff’s thoughtful attention made this a Hotel I’d gladly choose again on my next trip to Kyoto. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay in Kyoto with just a little extra luxury, I highly recommend this Hotel.

The location and the Room were truly wonderful. The staff’s greetings and service were very attentive, and they interacted with us at just the right distance, so we had a comfortable two-day stay. While many Hotels are cutting back on amenities, I was happy that everything here is high quality and provided in the Room so guests can relax and enjoy their time. This time we had lunch at the Chinese restaurant Hisuien, and both the food and atmosphere were excellent. It’s a place I’d love to visit again. Breakfast at Amber Court was also delicious. I will definitely come back to stay again. Thank you very much.

The historic building and the beautiful interior design impress me every time I see them. The staff’s hospitality is also truly pleasant, and it always makes me feel glad I chose to stay here. This time, the garden’s Japanese lilies and the trumpet vine on the terrace were in full bloom, and the sunflower floral arrangement in the lobby was a lovely seasonal touch. Dinner at Cascade was delicious as well, with summery dishes such as a chilled soup and a plate featuring seasonal abalone. I also look forward to enjoying my favorite Western-style breakfast pastry plate while taking in the view from the window. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

We stayed one night as a couple in a Suite Hollywood Twin. Since light meals were available in the lounge, we skipped dinner and planned to eat out if it wasn’t enough, but my wife overindulged in cake at afternoon tea and slowed down—so no dining out as planned! Even the light bites at cocktail time left us completely full. The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax in the large bath. We used valet parking, and when retrieving our car we were even given two chilled bottles of mineral water—we were truly touched by the staff’s thoughtfulness. It was an outstanding Hotel in every way. We will definitely stay again.

This was my first stay, and it exceeded my expectations—it was a wonderful experience. The Room was spacious and clean, and the food was delicious. The villa pool also made our children very happy. Since the grounds are very large, getting around by cart was convenient. The staff were kind and provided excellent service. I would love to stay here again when I visit Miyakojima!

I visited with friends in March, and this time I came with my son’s family. The food is simply delicious, and even my five-year-old grandchild can have fun at the amusement park and inside the Hotel. Beer was available after bathing and during meals as well, which made my daughter-in-law very happy. The meals were excellent—both grilled Hamana Lake eel (kabayaki) and white-grilled eel (shirayaki) were so good that I ate far too much. I usually don’t eat seafood bowls elsewhere (because they’re not tasty), but for some reason I end up having them here. And the staff who prepare the food are very kind. Next time, I’d like to bring my daughter’s family too. The desserts made with local ingredients and the small dishes are also delicious. I don’t think there is any other Hotel buffet as good as this. The only problem is that I eat too much and gain weight. Even breakfast has great variety, and even the scrambled eggs taste wonderful. The shirasu and eel onigiri-style rice balls were very satisfying too. With four adults and one small child, it’s hard to deny that the room feels a bit small. But since a larger room would have doubled the price, we ended up trying to save money. Well, we only sleep there anyway. This may be a bit rambling, but considering the price, all I can say is thank you very much. If possible, I think a dry sauna would be better than the current one in the bath area.

I visited again for the first time in six years (both last time and this time were almost the same date, just one day apart). I made a Reservation with a Plan of about the same grade as last time, but the price had inevitably gone up (which can’t be helped). The meal content also differed, and the final sea bream rice seemed a bit lower grade than last time (I later noticed there was also a Plan with the same content as before), but both the quality and quantity were excellent. They preserve long-standing traditions while incorporating new touches, and even the tableware is thoughtfully chosen—there’s clear attention to detail that keeps it visually engaging as well as delicious (I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, and this is my favorite in this price range). The service was also excellent. There seemed to be relatively many younger staff members (as I recall feeling last time too), but they are well trained and very attentive without being overbearing, so I was able to relax throughout the night. Since six years have passed since my previous stay, I expected the Room might feel worn, but it was well maintained and felt just as clean as before. I would definitely like to visit again. My daughter and her family had a wonderful stay. It was a birthday celebration trip, and they were delighted that the meals were truly delicious. They were especially touched that the proprietress came to greet them in person at dinner. Even with small children, they were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen in their Room, and they seemed completely satisfied with everything. Next time, I would love to visit with them. During our previous stay, both my wife and I were captivated by the charm of Myojinkan, and this time we returned for a long-awaited Multiple Night Stay to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I had always thought, “Someday I’d like to stay multiple nights,” and it exceeded our expectations by far. Over two days, we discovered the atmosphere of the Accommodation that we hadn’t noticed in just one night—the stillness of the forest, the murmur of the stream, the gentle flow of time… We even forgot to check the clock. Completely freed from everyday busyness, it was two days that truly Cleared both mind and body. Precisely because it was a Multiple Night Stay, we felt we could fully savor what Myojinkan cherishes: “the luxury of doing nothing.” This time, we enjoyed Japanese cuisine for the first time. The French meal last time was wonderful as well, but Japanese cuisine moved us in a different way. Each dish’s dashi was genuinely delicious, and every course carefully brought out the natural flavors of its ingredients—we found ourselves looking at each other again and again saying, “This is so good.” Rather than being flashy, it was deeply flavorful and delicate food that reminded us anew of how profound Japanese cuisine can be. Of course, the Onsen remained just as exceptional as ever. We soaked many times while admiring scenery that changed with each time of day, feeling healed in both body and mind. Above all else, your hospitality was once again warm and effortless, giving us a comforting sense that “we’ve come home.” No one ever seemed rushed during our stay; yet every detail was thoughtfully attended to. It made us realize once more that this Accommodation’s comfort comes from each staff member’s character. This is a special place for us—an Accommodation not merely “to stay,” but a place to restore oneself. We will return in another season to experience this forest air and Onsen again—along with your delicious food and everyone’s smiles. Thank you very much for everything.

I stayed in a newly renovated Room and enjoyed a brief escape from everyday life, surrounded by the warmth of wood. Choraku is an Accommodation where you can enjoy both the gold and silver hot springs, so if you’re looking for a place to stay in Arima, I would recommend Choraku without hesitation. Flowers were beautifully arranged throughout the building, and their thoughtful hospitality was truly appreciated. The meal served in the Room was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the fun conversation while they explained each dish—I couldn’t stop laughing. The extra-large TV wasn’t working properly, but the front desk staff came right away and fixed it. Shortly after I returned home, I received a thank-you letter from Choraku. I travel often, but I have never stayed anywhere with such attentive service. I also booked through IKYU.com, and there was a surprise roast beef dish at dinner. I would like to take this opportunity to thank IKYU.com as well.

This was my second stay since April, and I stayed for two nights again this time. There was a different selection of books than last time, and I finally found one I’d been curious about for a while—I ended up reading it straight through to the end. The in-Room Onsen and the open-air bath downstairs were amazing! The Häagen-Dazs ice cream and juices were delicious too, and it felt so good to relax after the bath—sipping juice in the dimly lit space while absentmindedly watching short films. The meals were also excellent—everything was carefully prepared with seasonal ingredients. The food felt gentle on the body. For lunch on the second day, I had the summer vegetable curry, which was delicious as well. The property is always quiet and calming, so I was able to unwind at my own pace and truly relax on my own. It was an amazing three days. I’d love to come back for another two-night stay within this year. Thank you very much!

If you’re staying in Shiretoko, I highly recommend this Hotel. The Hotel is new, clean, functional, and wonderful—but more than anything, I can’t count how many times I was moved by the staff’s thoughtfulness toward guests, their natural smiles, and genuine hospitality. Unlike the recent trend in big cities, they weren’t overly ingratiating, and the comfortable sense of distance felt truly pleasant. I think it’s a Hotel worth going out of your way to visit—something as wonderful and valuable as Shiretoko’s nature itself. The meals were also truly delicious and never got boring; I was satisfied in every respect. There are so many great things about this Hotel, but it reminded me that it’s people who move people. I also saw staff training newcomers and teaching them various things, and their attitude and way of working were careful and impressive. It’s been a long time since I found a Hotel where the staff shine like TV stars. Just my personal opinion: people in the same industry in Tokyo who focus only on price and facilities could learn a lot from this place (lol).

This was my first time staying here. A long time ago, I stayed at a Hotel in Kobe from the same group, and I had a great impression then—so that was the deciding factor. Just as I remembered, both the interior and exterior have a classic, elegant, and charming atmosphere, and I felt excited the moment I walked in! The staff member at the front desk guided me very politely, so check-in was smooth and pleasant. I also really appreciated receiving a chilled hand towel, salt tablets, and a cold drink right after check-in. The Room was well stocked with a coffee machine and plenty of bottled water, and I was able to relax quietly. The breakfast buffet had far more variety than I expected—I was amazed! I went at the earliest time slot, but it was quieter than I thought it would be, so I could enjoy my meal in a calm setting. Personally, the mini baguettes and croissants in the bread section—and especially the omelet made right in front of me—were delicious. There were also soft-serve ice cream and a semi-automatic pancake machine, which made breakfast really fun. They even offered a service where you can take coffee back to your Room after your meal—it made my morning feel perfect. Since I had a late check-out Plan, it was wonderful to relax in the Room even after eating until I was full! Everyone on staff was kind to me, and honestly the service was so good that it made me question whether the price could really be right. Thank you very much for such an enjoyable stay! I would definitely love to visit again if I have another opportunity.

I often stay here for business, and the check-in and check-out times fit my schedule perfectly, allowing me to plan my work appointments with plenty of time—this is always a great help. No matter how many times I stay, the Room is always kept clean and well prepared, and I had another comfortable stay this time as well. The staff are consistently polite and pleasant whenever I visit, so I can always stay with peace of mind. I have stayed five times, and it is a Hotel that satisfies me every time. I would like to stay again on my business trip next month.

We had to cancel our Okinawa trip due to a typhoon. Then I remembered Iojima, which my husband’s mother had recommended, and looked it up. Because it was last-minute, the only availability was a BBQ Plan in a dog-friendly Room, but we made a Reservation anyway—and it turned out to be amazing! We don’t have pets, so I worried about odors or hearing dogs from other Rooms, but everything was spotless and we didn’t notice anything at all. The Room also had an ocean view and felt incredibly refreshing. For dinner, we thought two days of BBQ in the summer heat might be too much, so we asked the front desk—just in case—if we could change one day’s meal. They kindly accommodated us, and on the second night we were able to enjoy a course dinner. (This may have been because we originally booked an upgraded option above the standard BBQ.) The BBQ itself was delicious with plenty of variety, and eating while looking out at the sea was fantastic. For breakfast, we could choose from three different restaurants with different menus. Guests could also enjoy complimentary lemon water and chilled tea at various spots around the island. There were lots of activities: sports and games in the gym; ocean athletics and marine sports (extra charge) by the beach; a manga corner near the baths; an indoor pool; Onsen facilities; and even an open-air bath with ocean views. We truly had an incredible three days. Since each area is spread out, you can rent bicycles for free, and there is also a shuttle bus that circulates around the island. All of the Accommodation staff were kind and attentive, helping us create wonderful family memories. Thank you very much.

A safe and comfortable Hotel directly connected to Kansai International Airport. Convenience stores like Lawson and FamilyMart are nearby, and you can also find places to eat 24 hours a day in the area. The breakfast buffet even had champagne in the morning. At the live kitchen, two types of plated dishes are always prepared. Arriving on the last flight on Friday after work, it’s helpful that there’s very little travel needed afterward.

I was able to relax and enjoy both the open-air bath and the large public bath. The Room was clean and spacious, and the bath in the Room was very pleasant as well. The food was truly delicious—I was impressed. The staff were very courteous, and I wished I could have stayed one more night. I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but my friend and I agreed this Accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way. I’d love to stay again. Thank you!

I first stayed about 10 years ago. The hospitality was wonderful, and since then I’ve been staying at Sennentei once every few years. This was my fourth visit. This time, I informed them in advance that a family member has difficulty walking. Upon arrival, they kindly prepared a parking space close to the entrance when welcoming us in the parking lot—thank you very much. They also showed great consideration with our Room, and our whole family had an enjoyable stay. Perhaps because of the season, there was also a free firefly viewing tour, and we were moved to see fireflies for the first time. It became a great memory. Next time, I’d like to stay in a higher-ranked Room! Thank you again, and we look forward to coming back!

I had business in Shibuya and chose this Hotel because it’s close to the station. I made a Reservation thinking I’d stay at a more upscale Hotel, and it was absolutely the right choice. The night view was wonderful, the Room temperature control was comfortable, and I opted for breakfast (Japanese style)—the rolled omelet and freshly cooked rice were excellent. Next time, I’d like to use the lounge.
