    On a high floor faci...

    On a high floor facing Wakayama Castle, the view was great, and at night we could see small fireworks. The Room was very easy to use. I have stayed here for a Multiple Night Stay over several years, and the friend who came with me also said it felt clean and nice.

    Both the Facility and the staff were excellent.

    I think both the Room and the Hotel were thoroughly cleaned; everything was very spotless. Perhaps because my Room was on the top floor, the view was wonderful, and I found myself looking outside again and again. The layout also felt spacious—there was plenty of room even with my suitcase opened on the floor, and I really appreciated having a table-and-chair set as well. The only downside was the shower curtain. Whether it was too short or not wide enough, the floor ended up getting wet all three times (and I’m usually careful when showering). From another perspective, though, the service from an experienced female front desk staff member was excellent. She kindly responded to my request for “a place within a 15-minute walk where I can drink quietly alone and enjoy good tuna,” and explained how to get there in a very thoughtful way. Thanks to her, I got there without getting lost—and it turned out to be the best tuna I’ve ever had. I was also able to relax and take my time. A Hotel with staff who provide such attentive service will surely help younger employees grow as well (sorry if that sounds presumptuous). It’s also a big plus that there is a restaurant, a 24-hour convenience store, and a bakery on the first floor of the building where the Hotel is located. All in all, I had a very pleasant stay.

    Not suitable for guests with infants or toddlers.

    I received a QR code for check-in, but at the counter I was told to write my child’s name. If that was required, it should have been entered during the booking process—this is a flaw in the system. For my child, we were given a towel, slippers, a toothbrush, and a handkerchief, but there was no explanation about the extra bed. Perhaps because of the machines, the front desk staff were very slow. I’m originally from this area and know people in Wakayama tend to be laid-back, but they lacked initiative, were sluggish, and showed little consideration. I don’t want to stay here again.

    We had a very pleasant stay.

    I had mistakenly made a Reservation for a smoking Room, but when I informed the front desk, they did everything they could and changed it to a non-smoking Room, which was a huge help. The entire property has apparently been fully renovated, and it was so clean it felt brand new. The Room—including the bathroom and toilet—was very comfortable to use. Breakfast was served in a bright, beautiful restaurant with an open view of Wakayama Castle. They offered many local specialties such as chagayu (tea rice porridge), umeboshi (pickled plums), Kinzanji miso, and Wakayama ramen—all delicious. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Wakayama. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    It was a comfortable stay!

    I was satisfied with the Room near the elevator with a great view overlooking Wakayama Castle. I also enjoyed the buffet breakfast, where I could have as much of what I liked as I wanted. However, compared to my previous stay, I was surprised at how quiet and empty the hotel felt.

    This was my first stay at this accommodation. I booked without any specific plan, as it was just a casual summer vacation. The hotel is located right in front of Wakayama Castle, and there is a bakery and cake shop on the first floor (the cakes are delicious). The hotel building and rooms are new and very clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the freshly made omelets. They were so well-prepared, with cheese and bacon inside, and two types of sauces available, making it feel like a luxurious treat in the morning! Although there is no large public bath, considering the price, the location is great, and the cost performance is excellent. I would like to make a reservation again next time.

    Good luck with the maintenance!

    As a new Hotel, it feels very pleasant. The twin Room was spacious and comfortable. The bedding was decent. However, the drainage in the sink was poor, which is disappointing despite its cleanliness. It should be noticeable during cleaning... I hope maintenance will improve!

    Located right in front of Wakayama Castle, the night view and sunrise were absolutely stunning.

    With Wakayama Castle right in front, I made a Reservation. It took less than a 15-minute walk from Nankai Wakayama Station. The bus stop is right in front, and there’s a convenience store on the first floor. The entrance to Wakayama Castle is just across the crosswalk, making the location extremely convenient. Breakfast was served on the third floor with a glass view of Wakayama Castle. It included three types of pickled plums for tasting, Yuasa soy sauce, Kinzanji miso, and Wakayama ramen—a great variety and very delicious. Unfortunately, customer service felt slightly overwhelmed as everyone seemed quite busy. At the 11:00 AM checkout time, there was only one person handling terminal maintenance and another at the counter—it seemed like they were struggling with limited staff. As a tea lover, I appreciated that amenities included high-quality loose-leaf tea bags and that breakfast offered an excellent selection of teas!

    A comfortable Hotel with a beautiful view of Wakayama Castle.

    You can enjoy a beautiful view of Wakayama Castle from the room window. The castle changes its appearance with the time of day—at sunset, when lit up at night, and during the morning glow—making it a delightful experience that truly lets you feel you're in Wakayama. The room is spacious, meticulously cleaned, and beautiful. The bed offers a comfortable night's sleep. It's a great Hotel. Thank you very much. One small concern: there is no hair tie included in the amenities for washing hair.

    There are only two large elevators available. It can get crowded in the morning!

    It was relaxing and enjoyable. However, there are only two elevators, so during the morning rush, it may take some time. It is recommended to plan ahead and act earlier to avoid delays.

    The Room was clean, and the view of Wakayama Castle was excellent. Overall, satisfaction with the Hotel itself was high. However, it was disappointing that the attitude of the female staff at checkout was poor. When I simply asked for parking ticket validation, she gave an obviously unpleasant look for some reason.

    Wakayama Castle right in front of you

    Stayed in a Room with a view of Wakayama Castle, and the castle was clearly visible, which was great. The Hotel's Facilities were new and well-equipped, so there was no inconvenience at all.

    A Hotel that satisfies with scenery, comfort, and convenience!

    I always enjoy a comfortable stay. This time, the view from the window on the high floor was exceptionally beautiful. I was thrilled to see the sunrise, sunset, mountains, sea, and even the mouth of the Kinokawa River flowing into the sea and the bridge. The weather was perfect, and the sky was a beautiful gradient of orange, pink, and light blue, with clouds sparkling in the light. At night, the castle's illumination and the street trees' lights were beautiful. The amenities are self-service, but there are two types of drip coffee, and having morning coffee by the window in the Room was extremely relaxing. I took out a fruit tart from the cake shop on the first floor. It was reasonably priced, not too large, and the custard cream was incredibly delicious. The staff was pleasant, and I could purchase just one without hesitation. With a cup of drip coffee in hand, I admired the clear sky, the castle, the mountains, and the sea. Large ships moved on the sea, and when I opened the window slightly, the morning breeze felt pleasant, prompting a deep breath. I was very satisfied. The Room was newly renovated, clean, stylish, modern, yet calm. The TV and internet were comfortable, and there was a charging cable. There was a floor with a microwave and a convenience store, so I could heat up the deli food I bought. It was very convenient. Of course, the transportation was good, and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to use it again. Thank you very much.

    The walls are thin, ...

    The walls are thin, and I could hear terrible noise from the next room and the room above. It continued through the night and early morning, and I could hardly sleep. Moreover, the cleaning staff started making loud noises and preparing before 8 AM, waking me up just as I finally fell asleep. According to the hotel's information, cleaning was supposed to start at 10 AM, but they began at 9 AM. When this happens in the next room, it's so noisy that I can't stay in the room. I couldn't sleep at all, couldn't work, and wondered why I even stayed. It was exhausting. I believe guests have various purposes for their stay, such as relaxing, sleeping, or working. Unfortunately, this hotel has no awareness of providing a comfortable room for guests to achieve their purposes. Regarding amenities, other Roynet hotels in different prefectures offer very helpful amenities, but here, only the bare minimum is provided. It seems the hotel's efficiency is prioritized over the guests.

    Year-end and New Year

    From the time of the reservation, we received courteous service and were able to have a wonderful New Year with our family. The New Year's buffet was also very satisfying, with delicious dishes including traditional New Year's food and Wakayama specialties, all while enjoying the view of Wakayama Castle.     I stayed to see Wakayama Castle. I was very satisfied with the view of the castle from the room. The property was just renovated this year, so the bath and toilet were new, and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you to all the staff.
