  It was a wonderful accommodation.

  This Accommodation appears to have been renovated, and the interiors and furnishings feel fresh and chic. The Onsen is also excellent, but above all, the food was truly outstanding. The all-inclusive plan—where drinks in your Room and with meals are free—is a nice touch. What impressed me most was dinner: instead of a standard set course, it’s an exclusive “free-course” style where you can order whatever you like, as much as you like. It’s not a typical buffet; you browse the menu while eating, place orders as you go, and each dish is freshly prepared and brought to your table. Individual portions are relatively small, but the variety is overwhelming—in a great way—so you can pace yourself and order according to your appetite. The seasoning felt slightly light overall, which I appreciated as someone who watches my blood pressure. And everything tasted delicious! For breakfast, you can choose either Western or Japanese style. I enjoyed the lightly seasoned Japanese breakfast, while my companion chose Western style and said the omelet was exceptional. The drinkable yogurt—apparently made by the proprietress—was also very good. I ended up giving full marks across the board: the staff’s smiles and their quick, helpful answers left a great impression. The Onsen Facility was clean, and there was also a posted mineral analysis sheet, which showed good attention to detail. This is an Accommodation I would love to visit again when I have the chance.

  It was a place I definitely want to visit again.

  We stayed on February 25. With our baby due soon, it was our last trip as a couple. To sum it up, we were 100% satisfied in every way and it’s a place we absolutely want to return to. As soon as we arrived, the staff warmly welcomed us and, before check-in, invited us to enjoy sparkling wine in the lounge—along with other drinks and light snacks. It was wonderful. We happily took them up on it, relaxed for a while, and then checked in. The hospitality from the proprietress, the manager, and each staff member was so pleasant that we were already thrilled. They even brought a cushion for my pregnant wife—such thoughtful care meant a lot to us. For dinner, we were told we could head to the restaurant anytime between 5:00 pm and 9:30 pm (I may be slightly off). When we sat down and looked around, we were surprised to see an authentic pizza oven. The property offers an all-inclusive plan, so dinner includes unlimited food and drinks. (Some items cost extra, but for normal dining and drinking there was absolutely no issue.) Rather than a buffet where dishes sit out, you order each item individually and can enjoy freshly made dishes as much as you like on the spot. And the food was unbelievably delicious… every dish was simply outstanding. Everything felt like it could be served at a fine-dining restaurant, and each plate was beautiful—like edible art. To have all of that included in an all-inclusive plan… we were completely won over. The head chef also came by to greet us, and explained that each dish is served in smaller portions so guests can try many different items. What a wonderful idea. We gladly took him up on it—and ordered until we were completely full. The morning bath and breakfast were also excellent. At checkout as well, they saw us off until our car disappeared from view. It was a truly perfect stay with nothing at all to complain about. They also had seasonal menu items, so we’d love to visit again in another season. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much!

  It was a memorable stay.

  From arrival to check-out, the attentive service made this a truly memorable experience. I stayed here for an anniversary trip with my boyfriend. We received celebratory appetizers and flowers.   The Accommodation you’ve always wished for is now a reality.

  Because I enjoy both drinks and good food, all-inclusive stays are always on my shortlist when looking for an Accommodation for a relaxing getaway. While narrowing my last-minute trip to Northern Kanto, I found an opening at Le Vent Vert Lake Village—an Accommodation I’d long admired—and made a Reservation immediately, even though it was the day before. The main reason I’d been dreaming of this place was the dinner. You can order creative Italian dishes in whatever style you like. After completing the Reservation, I kept browsing the official website and Review photos to build excitement—and on the way there, I did my best to avoid too many snacks at highway rest stops (laughs). We arrived safely. First stop: sparkling wine in the lounge. Having a lounge where you can start drinking right after arrival is a perfect 10/10. Then came dinner time—the moment I’d been waiting for. I hesitated for a second, wondering if I should hold back after seeing what others were doing, but when the staff said, “Please enjoy whatever you like, as much as you like,” I decided to take them at their word and kept ordering one dish after another. I ate even more than what’s shown in my photos. My goal this year is to learn restraint—and to diet (I gained 1.5 kg on this trip). Portion sizes were just right, making it easy to add more or share and enjoy at your own pace. Colorful edible flowers brightened each plate, and the Neapolitan pizza wasn’t heavy at all—so delicious I could have gone for another (but I restrained myself). They also offer seasonal menus, and I’d love to return and enjoy them along with Minakami’s changing seasons. I definitely drank too much and slept like a rock in my Room. The next morning, I woke up early and enjoyed the large public bath on my own. The temperature was perfect, my skin felt wonderfully moisturized—I felt completely revived. Breakfast afterward was equally satisfying: fluffy bread, a creamy potage soup so good you could drink it endlessly, and an omelet that was light outside with a soft, melty center—an excellent Western-style breakfast from the start of the day. I checked out feeling truly happy. The food goes without saying—but what moved me most was the warmth of the staff. Casual conversations while being served, chatting with the chef at breakfast, talking about Gunma with the proprietress at check-out, and even being seen off as we left… (I got so absorbed in our conversation that someone waited outside—I’m sure it was cold; sorry about that.) In an era where contactless service is becoming standard, this reminded me how wonderful genuine human interaction can be. Honestly speaking, it was the best hospitality experience of anywhere I’ve stayed so far. This is an Accommodation I want to make my regular place in Gunma. Thank you very much.

  I had high expectati...

  I had high expectations because the Reviews were good, but the food was disappointing. Every dish was beautifully presented, but the fried items I ordered at dinner were cold, which was a letdown, and the pizza wasn’t piping hot either. It’s supposed to be an order buffet with freshly made dishes, but that wasn’t the case. The next morning, shortly after starting the Western set breakfast, I asked if I could request how my egg dish was cooked, but I was told it wasn’t possible because it had already been made. Even then I wondered if it was really already prepared, and sure enough, when the omelet was served later after some time had passed, it was cold. It looked very nicely plated with vegetables and flowers, but it felt like too much focus on appearance. Shouldn’t hot dishes be served hot? It was my first time having a cold omelet—it tasted bad and I couldn’t eat it. The bread also had one piece that was hard and dry; I’m not sure if it’s due to how it was stored, but I can’t imagine how bread ends up that hard. The Onsen was very nice, but the food experience was far too disappointing.

  It was a wonderful time.

  I made a reservation to celebrate his birthday. When I contacted the accommodation about planning a surprise, they kindly responded that if I sent decorations, they would handle it for me. On the day of our stay, despite the cold and snowy weather, the staff came outside to greet us warmly. The room decorations were beautiful and perfectly captured my wish to surprise him, which made me very happy. The all-inclusive dinner was incredibly delicious, and I ended up eating too much! The snowy night view was breathtaking, and soaking in the private open-air bath in such a serene atmosphere truly felt like an "off" moment. Due to the cold wave with sub-zero temperatures, there were moments when the room felt chilly; floor heating or similar facilities would have been appreciated—4 stars for this aspect. The public bath was lovely as well; however, the floor in the changing area seemed unable to absorb water properly and became quite wet—4 stars here too. That said, it's hard to find such a satisfying 1-night-2-day stay at this price point! I would love to stay again in the future.

  Friendly service

  Thank you for your hospitality the other day. Despite our mistake during the Reservation, you kindly assisted us, and we are truly grateful. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy delicious Italian cuisine to our heart's content. If we hadn't been able to visit and discover this Hotel, I think we would have regretted it. The staff's hospitality was also exceptional. However, if I may point out a couple of things: the Room was slightly cold, and the water in the open-air bath was lukewarm. Perhaps it couldn't be helped given the season... Still, I will definitely visit again!

  I had a relaxing stay.

  Meals could be ordered in the desired sequence, making it very convenient. Each dish was visually appealing and delicious, leaving us completely satisfied. The bedroom had a bed and a small shelf with what appeared to be an outlet for charging devices. However, after plugging in overnight, we discovered it wasn't functional as the outlet was not connected. The cover on the outlet might have indicated this, but a clear notice would have been appreciated.

  The bath is amazing!

  The open-air bath in the room was excellent. It’s no exaggeration to say it’s the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed at. The location is great, and you can enjoy a unique dining experience by ordering your favorite dishes, which are prepared fresh. The room is not particularly luxurious but very clean. However, the balcony and exterior could use some renovation soon. Being close to the city center, I’d love to stay here again!

  This was my first ti...

  This was my first time using this accommodation for a trip to Numata and Minakami. The room was an Executive Twin corner room with a spacious layout, making it very comfortable. The view from the open windows and the Onsen open-air bath attached to the room offered a perfect blend of mountain autumn colors and Akaya Lake scenery. Meals were served in an Italian course style, allowing guests to order freely. Portions were small, enabling us to enjoy a variety of dishes, all of which were high-quality and delicious as expected. The staff's subtle attentiveness left a positive impression as well. One minor issue was that the elevator display showed "9" instead of "3," even though the building only has three floors! (laughs)

  Both the meals and the hot spring quality are excellent.

  We are a couple who love Onsen so much that we visit an Onsen accommodation almost every month, and we have stayed at this accommodation three times this year alone. That's how much we love everything about it—the warmth of the staff, the excellent quality of the Onsen water, the delicious and beautifully presented meals.   I visited for my son...

  I visited for my son's birthday. Since I made the reservation quite a while ago, I completely forgot that I had mentioned the birthday. When we received a celebratory flower from the staff, both my son and I were pleasantly surprised. My son was shy but looked very happy. Thank you so much. Actually, this accommodation was reserved by my husband for me because I love Catalana and am a fan of Koji Yoshikawa. However, due to sudden illness, we had to cancel the reservation. Since then, I've always wanted to visit but lacked the courage to stay alone until my son offered to accompany me for his birthday—making this long-held wish come true. My husband and I traveled a lot together; among all those places, this is one of the best accommodations we've ever experienced. The hospitality and attentiveness of the staff are truly exceptional—not an exaggeration at all—and it lives up to its reviews. The food—including pizza and desserts—was absolutely delicious! I even ended up eating two servings of my favorite Catalana. I would love to visit again when time allows—even if it's on my own next time.   Found a great accommodation!

  This was my first time staying in Sarugakyo, and it truly felt like a hidden gem. I decided to try this accommodation after seeing it introduced on one of my favorite YouTube channels. While some reviews on various sites mentioned that certain places are crowded with foreign tourists, making it hard to feel like a getaway, Sarugakyo seems to be a well-kept secret even among Japanese people, which made me choose it. As the reviews said, both the meals and the onsen were fantastic. When you visit, make sure to have a chat with the owner—it’s really enjoyable! To the hostess: I apologize for causing trouble when I forgot my wallet. I will definitely visit again!

  The Best Accommodation

  Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, especially the autumn menu featuring mushroom dishes, which were so good that I would gladly have them again. I was able to relax in the open-air bath while enjoying the view of Akaya Lake, and above all, the hospitality of the staff was exceptional. One suggestion would be to add hooks or similar fixtures in the bathroom area near the washbasin for hanging bathrobes.

  Enjoy delicious pizza and relaxing Onsen.

  This was my second stay. I visited because I craved delicious pizza after a long time. There were seasonal autumn menu options, and the freedom to choose drinks added to the enjoyment. The private open-air bath in the room was nice, but the large public bath was at a perfect temperature and almost felt like a private experience. It was very relaxing. Even rooms without baths seem fine here. I had fun chatting with the staff and Madam (not calling her "Okami" intentionally). I don’t have many complaints, but it would be convenient if face towels were available in the large public bath area. I’ll visit again during another season!

  Unable to forget the wonderful experience from our previous stay, we made a sudden Reservation due to my companion's strong wish, and we were delighted to visit again.   An accommodation that perfectly caters to solo travelers.

  Drawn by the unique combination of highly-rated reviews, onsen, and Italian cuisine (free-flow drinks and an order buffet where you can choose as much as you like), I visited alone in early July. About 20 minutes by bus from Jomo-Kogen Station, I got off at the nearest bus stop "Gakko Shita," where a staff member immediately came to pick up my luggage, leaving a great first impression. At first glance, it was the "romance-gray gentleman butler-like" staff member I had read about in other reviews. Led by him, all the staff were genuinely pleasant. It felt like the owner's vision was shared among everyone; their politeness and hospitality were evident. The open-air bath in my room offered breathtaking views and a spacious tub with perfect water temperature that I enjoyed multiple times. One of this accommodation's features is being able to dine at your preferred time; excitedly, I headed to the dining area right at 5 PM when service began. Other tables quickly filled up even on a weekday, showcasing its popularity. The dining area offers an impressive view of Lake Akaya through large windows. A shared appetizer was served first, followed by dishes of my choice from their menu focused on summer specials: ① "Tartare-style Squid and Okra" ② "Chilled Green Asparagus Cream Soup" ③ "Smoked Conger Eel with Arugula Peperoncino" ④ "Shallot Steak of Lamb" ⑤ "Mushroom Ajillo" ⑥ "Joshu Beef Arrabiata" ⑦ "Margherita Bufala Pizza" ⑧ "Catalana Dessert." For drinks, I chose Italy's Peroni beer—light and perfectly suited to my taste. Each dish was beautifully presented with flowers and tasted exquisite. True to Italian cuisine style yet reflecting the chef’s creativity and finesse. I had resolved beforehand not to miss out on trying pizza baked by the owner himself—it did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly baked: chewy yet light enough not to feel heavy—a must-try! Being alone raised slight concerns about finishing everything (laughs), but any leftovers were kindly delivered back to my room for later enjoyment after soaking in the onsen—they remained delicious even cold. This accommodation excels across all aspects: food quality, scenic beauty, relaxing onsen experience combined seamlessly with exceptional service—truly outstanding! I'd love another visit during a different season when menus change again. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay!

  The ultimate resort Hotel that makes you feel, "I never want to leave..."!

  We stayed for a multiple night stay in mid-September. As a couple who has never stayed multiple nights at an accommodation on our first visit (we only do so when revisiting accommodations we both truly love), this time was an exception. The reasons were: "All-inclusive with a dinner featuring an authentic Italian order buffet that we adore" and "highly rated reviews." We decided to take two days to enjoy and try all the highly praised dishes, making this an exceptional multiple night stay for us. The result exceeded all of our high expectations—it was absolutely the right choice! The Italian dinner, from appetizers to main courses, was as amazing as rumored, with not a single dish falling short. Over two days, we managed to try every menu item except the pizza (the pizzas baked in the Italian stone oven were so filling that one was enough when paired with other course dishes). Beyond the meals, everything else—the beautiful location overlooking the lake, the elegantly designed and comfortable room in calming tones, and the high-quality onsen where you could soak endlessly—was of top-notch quality. However, what stood out most was undoubtedly the exceptional hospitality of all staff members. The level of service here felt more pleasant and sophisticated than what we've experienced even at renowned hotels in urban areas. It's hard to put into words just how wonderful it is; it's something you must experience yourself during your stay. To Madam Manager, Chef, Mr. T., Ms. S., thank you very much for taking care of us during our visit! Unfortunately, we couldn't try all remaining pizzas or complete some enticing seasonal limited menus this time around—but we're looking forward to revisiting during another season to accomplish that goal!   Delicious Cuisine

  It was my first visit, and I was very excited. The hostess and the male staff provided excellent service. The food was absolutely delicious. It would be nice if the appetizers served in the lounge had labels. I cannot eat shrimp, but luckily noticed it before eating as I had chosen a shrimp dish by mistake. Overall, it was truly a wonderful place!

  All-Inclusive

  Superior Twin Room with Dinner and Breakfast Plan. The room was spacious, stylish, and had a calming interior that made it very comfortable. The onsen open-air bath on the terrace offered a pleasant view of the lake through the trees. The other half of the terrace had a table and chairs, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the scenery. Dinner was Italian cuisine served in an all-inclusive style, allowing guests to order as many dishes as they like from the menu—something I haven't experienced at other accommodations before. Portions were small, so I could enjoy a variety of dishes such as appetizers, pasta, meat dishes, soup, and pizza. It was fantastic! The food tasted great with beautiful presentations featuring edible flowers and plenty of vegetables—truly delightful! For breakfast, there was a choice between Japanese or Western styles; I chose Western cuisine which was also delicious.

  I was very satisfied!

  If you use public transportation, the limited number of buses might make your schedule a bit tight, but other than that, everything was excellent—bath, meals, amenities, and service. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath. The water quality was great, and the tub was spacious enough for two adults to relax comfortably while enjoying the view. It was truly delightful to stretch out and soak in the bath. The highlight was definitely the food. I wasn’t entirely sure what "all-inclusive" meant at first, but it essentially means unlimited food and drinks! The signature Italian cuisine offered a wide variety of dishes that could be ordered individually, allowing us to try many options. Each dish was beautifully presented—almost too beautiful to eat—and every bite was absolutely delicious. I felt so impressed staying at such an amazing accommodation after a long time and have added it to my list of places I’d love to visit again!

  The pasta and pizza ...

  The pasta and pizza were truly delicious! However, the Caesar salad we ordered first used the same vegetables that accompanied every dish, whether it was fish or meat.   It was a truly satisfying day.

  The hospitality was excellent, and the Room was clean. Each dish was carefully prepared with attention to taste and presentation, reflecting the chef's personality and dedication. I will definitely visit again in the near future.

  We stayed as a group...

  We stayed as a group of four, including my husband and our elderly mothers, and everyone was extremely satisfied. The staff's hospitality was truly exceptional from the moment we arrived to the farewell at departure—thank you so much. The meals were absolutely delicious, and we ended up eating more than we intended. Before check-in, we enjoyed a welcome drink in the lounge. During meals, sparkling wine and red or white wine were served to complement the dishes. Additionally, the room's refrigerator was stocked not only with tea but also with glasses, beer, Perrier, and cola. The room kettle had cold water along with coffee and tea options—it was very well-equipped. The complimentary ice cream after bathing was also a delightful touch! However, I rated the Facility/Onsen slightly lower because there were no handrails when entering the open-air bath in the public bath area, which made it somewhat challenging for elderly guests to use safely. While I understand that adding handrails later might be difficult, they would be helpful not just for seniors but for all guests since bathrooms can be slippery. Additionally, while I appreciated how sturdy the bath towels were in quality terms; there wasn’t anywhere inside our Room where these could dry properly afterward nor did asking extra replacements feel comfortable either hence having more available directly within large-bathroom areas OR pre-providing two-per-person inside each accommodation unit itself would solve this issue nicely! Next time around bringing along son who missed out previously means needing separate Rooms unless larger ones featuring private baths accommodate three persons instead ideally making such arrangements possible ahead-of-time planning stages better overall experience-wise altogether! Looking forward eagerly returning soon again someday hopefully under improved circumstances meanwhile thank-you-once-more warmly regards

  Upon arrival at the parking lot, you will be escorted to a luxurious lobby lounge where you can relax with a welcome drink. The staff will guide you to your room with care, leaving a positive impression. While the building shows its age upon closer inspection, the interior is stylishly coordinated as seen in photos—simple yet chic. Dinner is served in a style where you can choose from the menu. Each dish is beautifully presented in small portions, allowing guests to enjoy various dishes to their heart's content. The pizza, freshly baked in an authentic pizza oven, boasts excellent ingredients, crust, flavor, and aroma for complete satisfaction. A wide selection of alcoholic beverages is available with an all-you-can-drink option; for those who prefer premium drinks, they are offered at an additional cost. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options. My wife and I chose Japanese cuisine. Like dinner, each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. Despite the variety of dishes served in small portions, it was just right—my light-eating wife finished everything while I also felt fully satisfied as a big eater. Throughout our stay, all staff members provided attentive service at every step of the way.

  Despite arriving much earlier than the check-in time due to the rain limiting our plans, we were warmly welcomed with smiles and even guided to our room, which was greatly appreciated. As I don't drink alcohol, I had avoided all-inclusive accommodations (with drinks) in the past. However, at this accommodation, meals were fully customizable and we could enjoy as much of what we liked as we wanted, leaving us completely satisfied. The beautifully presented dishes adorned with edible flowers were both visually stunning and delicious, keeping us excited throughout the meal—we ended up dining for two and a half hours without realizing it (a rare occurrence for us who usually return to our room quickly). If I may make one suggestion: it would have been even better if there had been caffeine-free tea options other than coffee available after dinner at night (I opted for hot water since caffeine keeps me awake). The entrance of the accommodation looks like a roadside restaurant at first glance; however, on the room side, it is surrounded by greenery with a view of a lake through the trees—a very peaceful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the terrace or in the open-air bath while taking in the serene views and occasional bird songs—it was truly a wonderful experience. Personally, I was delighted that not only was there a coffee machine in our room but also Nina's tea available (as I don't drink coffee). The hospitality from both the owner and staff members was excellent—if given another opportunity, I'd love to stay here again. Thank you so much for your care during our stay! (Just one small note for future improvement: perhaps some additional deodorizing might be needed around frequently used areas of fabric sofas in rooms.)

  The meals are excellent.

  Located in a quiet Onsen area, the staff's hospitality upon arrival was excellent. The dinner, from appetizers to main dishes, pasta, and pizza, was outstanding. Additionally, unlimited refills of food and all-you-can-drink alcohol made the experience completely satisfying. At the end of the meal, we were greeted by the head chef who shared that all these amazing dishes were prepared with just one assistant—truly impressive. The Japanese-style breakfast was also exceptional in both quantity and taste. This is a facility I would love to revisit during a different season. While the Onsen felt adequate given the size of the facility, considering how incredible the meals were along with its value for money, this is truly an excellent accommodation!

  The food was very de...

  The food was very delicious, especially the pizza, which was as great as ever. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, I had a hard time dealing with an insect that resembled a cicada or moth in the middle of the night and struggled to get it out of the room. The onsen with natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source was also very pleasant. The stable and reliable hospitality and service made my stay comfortable. In an era where broken Japanese has become common at many accommodations, I truly appreciated this aspect even more.
