    Facility, environment, service, and meals are excellent.

    The facility, environment, service, and meals were excellent. It was very relaxing. However, the room was a bit small, and when we opened our suitcase, there wasn't much space to walk around. Also, as a couple staying together, it was disappointing that there was only one chair at the table in the room and no space for both of us to relax comfortably indoors. On the terrace, however, there were two chairs at the table where we could enjoy listening to cuckoo birds while relaxing. Next time, I would like to upgrade to a larger room for my stay.

    A hotel filled with exceptional hospitality

    We stayed as a group of three: my mother, my university-aged daughter, and myself. When my daughter unexpectedly had an online job interview, the staff kindly adjusted the check-in and check-out times to accommodate us, which was incredibly helpful! They went above and beyond to support us and offered thoughtful solutions. I was deeply moved by their attentiveness. They were also very kind to my elderly mother, checking in on her multiple times. Since the hotel restaurant was fully booked, they recommended a nearby sushi restaurant that turned out to be absolutely delicious—we were very satisfied! Of course, the hotel's breakfast was also outstanding. The staff's hospitality deserves a perfect score of 100! The facility is stylish and well-maintained in every aspect. However, there were no mirrors or tissues in the room. As three women traveling together, this made makeup application and other tasks inconvenient. Additionally, only one bottle of water was provided in the room, so we had to visit the water station multiple times. In the public bath area, there are only four sinks at the washroom space which caused some waiting time. The bathwater temperature felt slightly low; it might be better if it were warmer for both indoor baths and especially for outdoor ones. The conditioner left our hair feeling rough as well. I’ve shared these comments because I believe addressing them would make this hotel even more wonderful (apologies for pointing these out after receiving such great care). Once my daughter's job search is over, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for everything!

    For celebrating your parents

    This was my second stay. I used the accommodation to celebrate my parents. The service, hospitality, room, and bath were all very satisfying. I gave 4 stars for the meals because the alcohol my father ordered took time to be served on both occasions, which led my impatient father to ask if it was ready yet. Even so, we had a very enjoyable time and were satisfied with our stay. I hope to visit again in autumn with my daughter.

    The location is so e...

    The location is so easy to find that you can get there without a car navigation system. The Room is efficiently designed, bright, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The meals are delicious. The staff are friendly, making it feel as relaxing as staying in an ultra-luxurious home.

    We used it for my pa...

    We used it for my parents' 30th wedding anniversary and our 3rd anniversary. We were captivated by the attentive service and wonderful morning when we stayed about two years ago, and wanted to visit again, so we revisited this time. The hotel and rooms were still clean. However, to be honest, the morning content and hospitality were much better the last time we used it. The plates were no longer ceramic, and the bottled drinks had decreased... It might be due to the season, but I was a little disappointed. Also, the staff seemed to be very busy, and I was a little surprised that they didn't make much eye contact or smile. But in the end, it was good because my mother was happy.

    It was very good.

    The Facility was new and clean, allowing for a relaxing stay. The bath was especially excellent. It was spacious enough, and with staff constantly cleaning, both the changing room and the bath were very clean. The meals were also delicious. The service was impeccable, but particularly memorable was the Nepali gentleman who attended our table on the second floor breakfast venue. He was more attentive than the Japanese staff and was full of hospitality. Seeing him working hard in a foreign land inspired me to strive for another year. The breakfast itself was very delicious, but meeting such wonderful staff made it even more enjoyable. I definitely want to use this Hotel again.

    I was able to relax.

    It was nice to have a Room facing the river, allowing us to spend a quiet and relaxing time listening to the murmuring stream. Thank you very much. The staff were also pleasant. If I had to point out something, it would be that the glass and shower in the bathroom had noticeable water stains. If possible, it would be nice to have a container for disposing of tea leaves. I was able to relax, so I would like to visit again someday.

    As always, it's a wo...

    As always, it's a wonderful hotel, but every time I use it, there are more foreign guests. There is no problem at all with the restaurant, but in the onsen, there are bath towels left in the washing area, and the changing room is soaking wet from people coming out still wet... The staff are all proficient in English, so I think if you could display easy-to-understand instructions, everyone could use it comfortably. I love this hotel so much that I make it my regular stay when I go to Karuizawa, so I hope you can make improvements.

    One-of-a-kind Indigo

    Was Karuizawa good around the Meiji era? It seems to have turned into the current superficial culture village since the post-war era with the likes of Shirasu. I love indigo blue, so I use this Hotel group, but this is the best. The only dissatisfaction is that there is no indigo blue inside the Hotel.

    Perfect for the autumn foliage season!

    I was able to spend a quiet and comfortable time in the stylish, three-story low-rise Hotel from the lobby. The garden you pass through when going to meals or the large public bath is well-maintained, and the autumn leaves were very beautiful and soothing. I would like to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

    A hotel where you can enjoy a stylish atmosphere

    I used it for a trip with my mother. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very trendy and wonderful. We reserved four types of course menus at the restaurant, and the salt bread and sirloin steak we had for an additional 2,000 yen were particularly delicious. I would like to use it again. The room is stylish and lovely. I was especially pleased with the amenities from Biology, which suited me very well. However, the staff's response was not very good, and in terms of service, I feel it does not match the price. The large public bath is ordinary compared to other hotels. I felt that it might be a type of hotel that doesn't get too involved with guests. It had been a really long time since I visited Karuizawa, so I would like to stay at other hotels of the same rank and compare them.

    I was satisfied.

    Since it is still new after opening, the facility and guest rooms were very pleasant. It would have been even better if the large public bath was a natural Onsen. The drawback is that it is a bit far from the station.

    Hospitality that even parents will be satisfied with!

    It was my first visit, and first of all, the Facility is stylish and clean! The design, which gives a sense of warmth from the wood, enhanced the Karuizawa feel even more. Furthermore, the high level of hospitality from the staff is wonderful! During dinner, my father spilled his drink, but they promptly provided a new one, and my parents are saying, "We want to come again," because of the hospitality. It was a pity that the Onsen was not a natural Onsen, but it was still a Hotel I would like to visit again.

    I stayed with my husband to celebrate my birthday. Among many options, I chose this property because of the fireplace in the lobby. The real thing was more wonderful than I imagined, and I was soothed by the sound and scent of crackling firewood. Also, thank you for your various thoughtful gestures for my birthday. The room was just the right size, clean, functional, and had everything I needed without any unnecessary items. The colors and paintings displayed were warm and very calming. The meals were delicious, especially the dessert and the French toast in the morning were exquisite. All the staff were kind, attentive, and friendly, making it easy to talk to them. The uniforms were lovely! And above all, the garden was beautiful. You always pass through it when moving from one building to another, and during the day, the autumn leaves were beautiful, and at night, it was lit up. The reflection on the water's surface was so captivating that I took many photos. Although it was just a one-night stay, I was very satisfied. If I have the opportunity, I would like to visit again.

    First Time in Karuizawa

    There is a large street and parking lot in front of the building, but the front building, restaurant building, accommodation building, and spa building are well arranged to create a private resort feel. Since it has just opened, the facilities are clean and have a modern and stylish atmosphere. Spending time on the balcony attached to the room, gazing at the greenery, was a luxurious experience. The staff was very attentive to children, and although we caused some inconvenience at the restaurant, they responded promptly, which was greatly appreciated. Karuizawa has many different Stays, and there were many other places that caught our interest, but it was a wonderful hotel that made us want to stay again on our next visit.

    The lobby has a warm fireplace and a cozy atmosphere. The large public bath allows you to soak up to your shoulders and relax. The restaurant, with its relaxing ambiance, offers delicious breakfast and dinner. The courtyard, meticulously maintained by the gardener, is colorful with autumn leaves, and the night illumination is magical. The guest rooms, which convey a sense of care and warmth, are quiet, and the view from the guest room terrace is You can enjoy a leisurely cycling experience by using the bicycle rental service. I thought it was a Hotel filled with everything you seek in an autumn trip. Thank you for your hospitality. I will use it again in a different season.

    We used it for our 30th wedding anniversary trip.

    I made a reservation for two rooms for one night for four people, including my husband and my daughter's family. When we parked the car at the entrance, a nearby female staff member smartly opened the door for us, which made us happy. I had secretly requested an anniversary cake (strawberry tart) room service during check-in for my husband, and I was grateful for the thoughtful gesture of providing four sets of cutlery, allowing us all to enjoy it deliciously. Thanks to the smart and kind support from all the staff, it became an unforgettable and wonderful anniversary. Thank you very much! Before the trip, I was worried due to various reviews about the staff, but after actually visiting this time, I was very satisfied and began to doubt that the negative reviews might be malicious, which made me feel sorry for the staff. I will use the service again to see the smiles of all the staff.

    The design is lovely, but…

    As soon as we arrived, there were food crumbs scattered all over the carpet... We had high expectations, so it was really disappointing. When we contacted the staff, they said, “We’ll change your Room,” but the new one was just as bad and in a less convenient location... There was no point in moving. After telling them the previous Room was better, we had to move again. By then, two hours had already passed. In the end they upgraded us as an apology, but more than that I just wanted our time back. After that, my mood never really improved. Since we booked at a discount, it felt acceptable for the price paid, but at the regular rate it falls short in terms of service and hospitality. I probably won’t stay here again.

    Unfortunately.

    I watched posts on YouTube and was really looking forward to it because it seemed new and stylish. However, since it was a foreign hotel, the service did not match the price at all and felt sloppy. The bonfire display at the front desk was nice, but the cleaning was not thorough, with soil spilled on the floor, tables not cleaned and sticky, and the welcome drink spilled and dried without being wiped. Even though the room was only about two years old, there was pink mold growing, and the floor didn't seem to be cleaned well. Also, on the shuttle service back, when we were about to leave the hotel, the driver almost collided with a truck due to inattention, and despite the screams inside the bus after the sudden brake, there was no apology, and the bus just started normally. I will never use it again.

    Good customer service.

    We went with our grandchild, making a group of four, and during dinner, the dessert was too sophisticated for the child. However, a foreign staff member kindly brought vanilla ice cream, which made us very satisfied.

    It was a sophisticated Hotel.

    Unfortunately, it was raining, but I was soothed by the firewood flames at the front desk. The staff were all pleasant and I had a comfortable stay. However, since it was raining and I had to walk outside to the spa, I used the Room's bath, but the shower temperature was inconsistent, which was inconvenient. Dinner at the restaurant felt overpriced as it is a tourist Hotel, and the taste was average.

    It was better than I expected.

    I used it for the first time. The front desk staff at check-in and other staff members were friendly. The room was a twin room, and the pillow was perfect for me, allowing me to sleep soundly, and the amenities were well-equipped. Unfortunately, the sound of the toilet paper roll turning echoed through the walls, which was disappointing. I reserved a room on the river side, and the view made me feel like I was in Karuizawa. I used the large public bath (not an onsen, but there was a carbonated bath), and it was very comfortable, so I used it both at night and in the morning, and my fatigue was completely gone. Breakfast was a buffet, and I could feel that the kitchen staff prepared the jams, salads, milk, and green smoothies with care using local ingredients. I will probably use it again next time.

    Wonderful

    Stayed for the first time last summer. This is my second stay. Since then, I have used KagariBi several times, including this summer. The attention and care of the staff at this restaurant are truly wonderful, allowing me to start my day by enjoying a delicious breakfast while gazing outside. Regarding the room, it couldn't be helped, but it was a bit cramped and I couldn't relax. I think it's unavoidable, but for two people using one room, there was only one chair. Perhaps I felt the room was even smaller because I stayed in a suite last time... Anyway, even if I don't stay in Karuizawa, I definitely want to visit the restaurant, which is my favorite place.

    The entire Facility surrounded by nature is wonderful.

    The autumn leaves were my target, but they seemed to be delayed compared to usual years, so I couldn't see the bright red leaves. Even so, I was impressed by the beauty of the Hotel's garden, and the compact design made it easy to move around, with the parking lot, Room, large public bath, and restaurant all nearby. Since it's new, everything was clean, and I could relax sitting on the terrace chairs. The carbonated spring and sauna in the open-air bath of the large public bath were also pleasant. It was almost like having it all to myself. I would like to use it again when I come to Karuizawa.

    Stay for 3 adults

    We stayed with three friends in October. If you arrive in the morning, there is no bus, and it's a bit of a walk from the station, but if the season is nice and it's just adults, you can easily walk there. There is also a convenience store nearby. The large public bath has basic skincare products (cleansing, lotion, and emulsion), and the Facility is new and clean. It's not very spacious, but there is a sauna and an open-air bath, which was sufficient. All the amenities have a very nice scent, but the shampoo is a bit rough, so if you're concerned, it's better to bring your own. The lobby, spa, and guest rooms are in different buildings, so you need a coat when moving around during the cold season. We visited in mid-October, but the fireplace in the lobby was not yet in operation. The smoking area is outside the lobby. It's nice to have a place to smoke. The Room was well-cleaned and tidy. There is a sofa on the balcony, and it was pleasant to have tea there. It's a bit cramped for three people, but we didn't spend much time in the Room, so it didn't bother us much. You can also rent bicycles, but it's a bit pricey. It's available in 4-hour or 6-hour packages, and the price doesn't change even if you return it early. They are not electric and have small wheels, so it's not recommended to go too far, but it was very convenient to rent and return them at the Hotel. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were very delicious. It's mainly Western cuisine, but there is also rice, rice accompaniments, and miso soup for Japanese food, which I think is sufficient. Dinner was a course meal, but other menu items looked very delicious, so next time I plan to make a Reservation for à la carte. The wine and soft drinks felt a bit pricey compared to the accommodation price. The staff, from the lobby to the cleaning staff, were all pleasant and kind. It's not excessive service, but they respond politely when you are in trouble or call out to them, which makes it very comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, not too big or too small, with just the right amount of everything. I will use it again when I go to Karuizawa next time.

    The checkout time was incorrect.

    The room was clean, and the meals were delicious, making for a fulfilling stay. However, despite booking a plan with a late checkout at 1 PM, I received a call after 11 AM telling me to leave the room as the checkout time had passed. Thinking it was my mistake, I hurriedly left the room, but upon confirming at the front desk, it turned out that the checkout was indeed at 1 PM, and the front desk staff apologized for their mistake. I was asked if I wanted to return to the room, but having already packed and left, there was no point in returning for just an hour and a half. If you are going to sell plans with perks like late checkout, please ensure that all employees involved are aware of which plan each guest has booked and what time their checkout is, and confirm the plan thoroughly before making reminder calls. It was very unpleasant.

    Repeat seems difficult.

    〇Guest Room, Amenities - Despite informing the hotel during the reservation that my wife is pregnant, we were given a room on the farthest end of the third floor, the furthest from the lobby. We did not request a change, but it required us to walk long distances back and forth multiple times. As mentioned in the review of the meals below, I felt there was a lack of consideration. - There were no major issues with the cleaning, but the glass door of the room's bath was covered with scales, and a used wet towel, likely from a previous guest, was left in the drawer. I was concerned about whether the cleaning was complete. 〇Customer Service - I appreciated the attention to detail, such as language use, especially in the restaurant. - However, there was a mistake in the billing during checkout. Some of the drinks ordered were not accounted for, and it took about 10-15 minutes to explain the ordered menu and recalculate. Although it was a short time, I believe this is not a hotel where simple mistakes are acceptable, so please ensure basic thoroughness. 〇Meals - As with the guest room, I clearly stated that consideration was needed due to pregnancy, but there was no response at the time of reservation, and although I informed the restaurant receptionist, it was not communicated to the hall staff who took the course order. They accommodated requests like decaf and well-done meat, which was very good, but having to explain the same thing multiple times was worrisome. I would like the hotel to proactively handle such sensitive matters. - The lamb with a hint of wood smoke was very delicious. The bread was also tasty but cold. I think it's common for hotels to serve it warmed with a heater, so it felt like a missed opportunity. - Similarly, many dishes at the breakfast buffet were cold. 〇Bath - The large public bath was good, but the material of the chairs was slippery. I think elderly guests need to be careful to avoid falling. - It was raining, and although umbrellas were provided, there were times when they ran out due to the roof being open. The scenery is beautiful even on rainy days, but it makes it difficult to use.

    A hotel where you can feel the seasons

    I stayed for two nights and three days. Since it was just the change of seasons, when I stepped out onto the garden view balcony, I could hear the sound of crickets from the garden and enjoy the scenery of pampas grass growing in clusters. When I tried to go out by car on Sunday afternoon, the traffic was terrible, so I decided to walk from the hotel to Karuizawa Station and was able to reach the station front quite quickly. I enjoyed shopping and used the shuttle bus when returning to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.
