    Stay at the dream Hotel

    Stayed with a friend visiting from Tokyo. The facility was gorgeous, and the moment we entered, we were excited for a wonderful hotel stay. However, there was a noticeable difference in the hospitality of the staff. Some left a great impression, while others made us question if this was really the standard of this hotel, which was disappointing. There were moments at both the front desk and restaurant where interactions felt slightly unpleasant. I enjoy monthly hotel stays within Okinawa as a personal treat and had considered this accommodation as a potential repeat option, but now I’m unsure about returning. It would be appreciated if bottle amenities and skincare amenities could be provided in sufficient quantities for all guests in the room without needing to call reception each time—it dampens the mood during what should be an enjoyable resort stay. Considering that we didn’t choose an inexpensive room, attention to such details would have been expected. This accommodation came highly recommended by someone who stayed here earlier this summer, so it’s unfortunate that our experience didn’t meet expectations.

    A Hotel with a Sense of Hospitality

    Even at highly-rated Hotels, there are occasional concerns about staff behavior and attitude. However, at this Ryukyu Hotel, the policy of heartfelt service to guests seemed to be well-implemented by the staff. Their communication was not overly formal but polite and friendly, allowing me to enjoy a truly pleasant time after a long while.

    Overseas Resort Vibes

    There are many pools and a private beach, making it feel like staying at an overseas resort hotel. I stayed in a room with lounge access, where I could enjoy wine from the morning and a wide variety of bread, allowing for a relaxing experience. Sitting on the balcony of my room on the 10th floor, I felt that you can relax just as much in Japan without needing to go to Hawaii.

    Healing Trip

    This was my first visit. I had watched videos on YouTube beforehand, but the Hotel exceeded my expectations. My sister and I chose this place to escape from daily fatigue, and we were extremely satisfied. From the moment we arrived until we left, we were deeply grateful for the courteous and kind staff.     The best Hotel in Okinawa for family fun

    Stayed on August 26th with a family of five. We rented a car at Naha Airport and drove straight to the hotel. Although the distance was considerable, after passing the Senaga Island intersection, it was a comfortable drive of about 25 minutes. It’s even closer if you rent a car from Tomigusuku City. The next day, we headed to Nago City, and there is a highway entrance just before Naha City, making car travel convenient. Upon arrival, we had lunch at Restaurant Meijo, which I believe is the best in the area. After lunch and checking in, we played in the pool with our kids until sunset. This is truly the best accommodation for family fun in Okinawa! We look forward to staying again!

    The club lounge is excellent.

    The club lounge is excellent. I was looking forward to the breakfast bread, and it did not disappoint. I even wished I could purchase some to take home. Personally, the Chinsuko Melon Bread was my favorite. Each piece is carefully made, which I found impressive. The staff were incredibly pleasant, and this is a Hotel I would absolutely love to visit again.

    Very satisfied

    I visited southern Okinawa for the first time and stayed here for two nights. I was satisfied with almost everything. I enjoyed using the lounge at a relaxed pace. The bread and cocktails were delicious. At the evening lounge, I had tasty Okinawa soba, but I thought it would be nice to have a few more light snacks available, such as sandwiches or pizza. That said, my stay was very relaxing, and my husband and I are already talking about coming back next year. Thank you very much!

    What a waste!

    I stayed at this accommodation when it first opened and was impressed with everything, including the view, room, amenities, service, indoor pool, and saxophone performances by the poolside. I was looking forward to staying again during a season when the outdoor pool is available. However, my recent stay was disappointing in many ways and I don't think I'll stay here again. First of all, the staff did not greet us or assist with luggage. The room was supposed to be on a high floor but we were placed on the 7th floor with a poor view; cleaning was insufficient as there was trash near the walls. The lounge hours were short and most items provided were pre-packaged products. The piano performance had frequent mistakes. Despite bad weather and cooler temperatures, the indoor pool wasn't heated. Additionally, we couldn't secure reservations for meals; menu options had decreased; and there were extra charges if you wanted to have a proper breakfast—everything felt disappointing overall. Perhaps it’s my fault for expecting the same or better experience than before. The proximity to the airport and beautiful building are great features of this hotel; however, missing smiles and greetings from staff are critical flaws. As someone who loves Okinawa and hotels in general, this visit left me very disappointed.

    60th Birthday Trip

    I have been looking forward to staying at Ryukyu Resort every year since it opened. It’s a hotel where my grandchildren can fully enjoy summer by swimming in the pool and playing at the beach, but we are always running around and never get to relax. This time, I traveled with my husband, just the two of us, and we were able to enjoy a relaxing hotel stay. Since I mentioned it was a trip for my 60th birthday celebration, we were given a room on the top floor, which made me very happy. We also received a lovely message card—thank you so much! Next year, I think I'll be running around again with my grandchildren. Looking forward to it! (laughs)

    Rainy Okinawa

    It rained for three days, but I was able to relax while enjoying the ocean view from the Hotel lounge and balcony. The breakfast bread looked delicious, and it was a paradise for bread lovers! Even in the rain, car service was smooth, and the staff's attentiveness made it a very pleasant and meaningful trip. I hope to come back for another trip to see the sunset I missed this time. Thank you for your hospitality.

    I had a pleasant stay.

    As a newly built hotel of about 3 years, it was very comfortable to stay. Not only the facilities but also the hospitality of the staff were excellent, and their attention to detail was impressive. We stayed in a Panorama Corner Suite this time, which offered an incredibly open atmosphere with ocean views on both sides. The quality of the club service was also outstanding, and with breakfast & brunch available until 12 PM, we could sleep in without worry. At the Twilight Bar, bartenders prepared cocktails for us (though I requested a martini which wasn’t on the menu—slightly disappointing). The lounge-exclusive pool and Pool Bar Oasis were fantastic! The pool was practically private for us alone, yet there was still a lifeguard present for safety. After enjoying drinks at the Twilight Bar, we could continue with free-flow cocktails or whiskey at this location as well (they even had Yamazaki and Hakushu!). During our 4-day multiple night stay, we opted out of room cleaning on the second day and received a voucher worth ¥1,500 instead. However, when we requested room cleaning on the third day, unfortunately, they didn’t change our sheets—it was slightly disappointing to have used sheets throughout our stay. Other than that minor issue though everything else exceeded expectations; especially the Premium Club Lounge which offers incredible value for its price! The accommodation is conveniently accessible from the airport while being situated in a quiet environment that provided relaxation. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

    It was disappointing...

    It was disappointing that lunch could not be enjoyed in swimwear while using the pool, making it less convenient to fully utilize the beautiful pool throughout the day. Additionally, the lounge hours were inconvenient. The hors d'oeuvres and bar counter service ended early, and children were not allowed after evening hours, making it impossible for families with kids to enjoy the lounge at night. It would be helpful if child restrictions started from 9:00 PM instead. To make it to the pool's opening at 9:00 AM, starting breakfast in the lounge at 8:00 AM felt late, leaving no choice but to use a separate paid buffet option. For dinner within the hotel, family-friendly options were limited mainly to Soba Restaurant (Sanraku), with no room service available and a limited selection at the shop. Without a rental car during a Multiple Night Stay, dinner options might feel repetitive. Another downside was that when I called reception requesting children's equipment for loan, there was no response—possibly due to staff shortages. On a positive note, the pool facilities are outstanding. For preschoolers especially, features like slides and mini-slides without height restrictions in kids' pools are excellent amenities. The brunch provided until 12:00 PM in the lounge was luxurious enough that lunch wasn't necessary afterward. Being able to relax in the lounge before check-in or after check-out was very convenient as well. Additionally, having kid-friendly cutlery and chairs available in the lounge was appreciated!

    Why such a response?

    We stayed on the last day of our 5-night trip to Okinawa. We were looking forward to it, but we were disappointed with the room. Despite booking a premium ocean-view room, the sea was barely visible, and we were given a corner room on the 3rd floor. We requested a room change, but were told there were no available rooms. Even though we made our reservation well in advance, it was shocking to see that rooms seemed to be assigned only upon check-in. While it's understandable that you want many guests to visit, the service was extremely disappointing. Repeat visits and new bookings often depend on reviews as they are important for many people. It would be great if this feedback is taken seriously as it is such an important matter.

    We stayed for two nights on a family trip. The view from the room was truly wonderful and very relaxing. Our 3-year-old son had a great time playing in the pool and play area, making it an excellent hotel for families with children. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of options! We would love to stay here again when we visit Okinawa!

    The highest-grade Hotel in the southern region

    There were some new aspects, but it was a wonderful Hotel. The Hotel itself is nearly perfect. We initially planned to use the club floor just for light snacks, but it was so satisfying that we ended up feeling full. The pool was stunningly clean. The beach looked beautifully blue and clear from a distance, but once in the water, only the enclosed area lacked clarity, which was the only regret. Other than that, it was a fantastic Hotel that makes me want to visit again.

    Enjoy your days at the Resort Hotel.

    Thank you for the wonderful stay. I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing 4-night, 5-day hotel life. The proximity to the beach and pool was excellent. The room was convenient, and I was truly impressed by the delicious breakfast at the club lounge. The variety and taste of the bakery items were amazing—I couldn’t try them all even after four mornings! The clam chowder, ham selections, salads, and honey were delightful—thank you for such a treat. Having shops and a convenience store on-site provided peace of mind, and the laundry facilities were easy to use as well. I look forward to staying here again in the future!

    Accommodation after 2 years

    I stayed here for the first time in two years. Last time, I stayed in the Panorama Corner Suite Twin, but since children were not allowed in the VIP lounge, I chose the Premier Club Twin this time. I was looking forward to enjoying the lounge in the evening, but after 5:30 PM, only guests aged 13 and above were allowed entry, so my family couldn't enter together. It might have been my misunderstanding, but I felt like we could enter two years ago and didn't confirm it this time—my mistake. However, other accommodations don't have such age restrictions, so this was quite disappointing. That said, breakfast at the lounge was by far the most delicious among all four accommodations we stayed at during this trip. If they improve their age restriction policy, I would love to stay here again.

    Very clean

    The moment I entered the accommodation, I was moved by its beauty. As I arrived in Naha earlier than expected, before the check-in time, I mentioned using the pool until then. However, they kindly allowed an early check-in and prepared the room exactly as requested. I am truly grateful. The hotel, pool, and beach were all stunningly beautiful, allowing me to enjoy a luxurious and memorable time. Although it was unfortunate that I couldn't try stand-up paddleboarding due to strong winds during my stay, experiencing canoeing became a wonderful memory. The meals were also incredibly delicious. One suggestion: having a dinner buffet option would provide more choices during the stay and make for an even more satisfying hotel experience. I would love to stay here again!

    It was wonderful.

    When arriving by car and providing my name, it seemed that the young hotel staff did not have my name on their list. I was kept waiting as they repeatedly checked, and eventually, without confirming my name, I was told to park the car in the parking lot. After parking and still unsure about the hotel layout, I managed to find my way to the front desk. The same young staff member directed me to check in at the Club Lounge without any apology for earlier inconveniences, which left me feeling very displeased. At the Club Lounge, a different staff member handled check-in smoothly. However, when I decided to relax in the lounge for a while afterward, there were no available seats. None of the staff approached or guided me on what to do next. Feeling lost again, I decided to go to my Room instead and returned later at a different time. It would have been helpful if an explanation of how to use the lounge had been provided during my first visit.

    2 nights, 3 days without a rental car

    We chose the Ryukyu Hotel for our family trip as it is close to the airport, has a resort-like atmosphere, and we were traveling with a toddler without a rental car, so we wanted to minimize travel time. Two days before our stay, I called to request a diaper disposal bin and asked for the twin beds in our room to be joined into a Hollywood twin. At check-in, I was assured that "the diaper disposal bin has been placed in your room," which gave me peace of mind. However, upon entering the room, there was no diaper bin and the beds were still separated. We had to call for the bin to be brought up and pushed the beds together ourselves. While this oversight was disappointing, the room itself was spacious with great views. For dinner on our first night, we dined at Sanraku as per our prior reservation. Since we arrived early at 6 PM, it wasn’t too crowded inside; however, when trying to get staff attention despite two or three employees standing nearby, they were all facing away from us and didn’t notice us calling out right away. On a positive note though, they offered kids' meals that included both noodles and rice—something we appreciated. The next morning’s breakfast went smoothly as we arrived right after opening hours without having to wait in line. We were asked if we'd prefer indoor or terrace seating; choosing terrace seating turned out to be a mistake due to an overwhelming number of flies swarming around food—it made eating peacefully nearly impossible! While I understand it might not always happen year-round (and perhaps difficult for staff), some warning about flies when offering terrace seats would have been helpful! Needless-to-say day two meant opting strictly indoors where thankfully terraces weren’t even being used anymore anyway! The pool facilities impressed us greatly: clean wide spaces perfect relaxation moments especially seeing how much joy excitement radiated off children experiencing large pools firsthand! However dining options within hotel premises posed challenges meeting criteria like no pre-reservations required flexible timings suitable toddler-friendly meals limited choices available particularly inconvenient given lack personal transport club lounge access alternatives.(Even convenience store rice balls sold-out evenings!) Lastly extending gratitude towards front desk check-in/out processes alongside shop attendants whose service left lasting positive impressions overall experience!

    Simply the Best Resort Hotel

    Everything was excellent. First, the location is about a 20-minute drive from the airport. On the way, you cross a bridge with an ocean view, which builds excitement as you approach. The area is surrounded by nature and becomes completely dark at night. At the entrance, torches are lit at night, creating a strong resort vibe. The parking lot is easy to use, making it convenient for those arriving by car. As soon as you enter the hotel, there’s an amazing scent that’s very relaxing and complements the stylish interior design perfectly. After check-in, staff members kindly carried our luggage to our room while guiding us around—truly showcasing their hospitality. We stayed in a High-Floor Deluxe Twin Room on the 9th floor this time—it was incredibly spacious and impeccably clean. From our room's window, we had a stunning view of both the pool and ocean; we could even watch sunsets from there! The scenery was simply breathtaking. The amenities were well-prepared and left nothing to be desired during our stay. One minor concern was that doors closed quite forcefully and sounds from neighboring rooms were somewhat audible—but with such beautiful views and an amazing pool experience available, these issues didn’t bother us much. The pool was consistently cleaned and maintained in pristine condition; it made us want to swim every day during our stay. For breakfast, we enjoyed a buffet featuring unique Okinawan dishes—it was delightful! However, since it can get crowded at times, choosing your timing carefully might be wise. In the evening without prior planning or reservations elsewhere nearby—we visited what seemed like a soba noodle shop? It turned out deliciously satisfying though improving staff English fluency would enhance experiences further! Regarding shops onsite: mostly souvenir-focused rather than resembling convenience stores entirely yet still useful selling items like sunglasses waterproof phone cases floaties underwear sandals etc., especially handy if enjoying pools actively despite closing early @21:00 disappointing slightly perhaps? Overall first-time staying impressions exceeded expectations thoroughly positively memorable indeed longing return someday leisurely relaxed manner rediscovering tranquil haven anew amidst Okinawa adventures aplenty beyond mere sleeping quarters alone deserving full appreciation uniquely special destination awaits future visits assuredly cherished fondness timelessly enduring appeal unrivaled satisfaction guaranteed repeat-worthy undoubtedly!

    Here we are again.

    This is my third consecutive year staying here. I always end up choosing this Hotel because it has a pool where kids can play freely, it's close to the airport, relatively new, and not an ocean view across the road. Although there are still some systematic issues like being charged separately for Child Sharing Existing Bedding or the lack of deli and room service options for meals, the Facility is excellent and offers an easy resort experience. There are no tourist izakayas or convenience stores nearby, so traveling by car becomes necessary. If the surrounding area develops like Onna Village, a complete Hotel stay might become a viable option. By the way, the breakfast venue gets very crowded, so I think the best solution for families with children is to skip breakfast at the Hotel, have something light instead, and secure a daybed by the pool early in the morning. Also, I always feel that it would be better if they designated North Wing for families and South Wing for adults while providing services tailored to each guest demographic in their respective wings.

    It was great.

    We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and truly enjoyed our time. The complimentary upgrade service was a delightful surprise. The room was clean, and the view from the balcony was the best we've ever experienced. As a swimming enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoyed the pool, especially the indoor one where I could swim to my heart's content. I also tried SUP, though I found the permitted area a bit limited for my liking. However, during paddling, I encountered turtles twice, which made it an unforgettable experience. We look forward to staying here again!

    The quality has improved.

    The Club Lounge is always amazing! Service, food and drink menus, everything is improving. (The limited-time lemonade is especially fantastic.) It would be great if the outdoor pool hours could be extended. Above all, the convenience of a Resort Hotel close to the airport is unbeatable!

    Perfect for those who prioritize the pool and the sea!

    We stayed with a toddler. There were many types of pools, and the private beach had clean sand. With cleaning staff always present, we felt safe and comfortable using the facilities. If I had to point out something, while the breakfast menu had a wide variety, the quality didn’t seem particularly high. None of the dishes left a strong impression. The location is close to the airport, so it’s recommended for those focusing on pools and beaches. About half of the guests were international tourists.

    Excellent service

    It was an amazing hotel. This time, I stayed in the VIP room and had a truly special experience. The room was, of course, clean and comfortable. Even beach sandals were provided for free, along with bags for going to the pool or beach, showing thoughtful attention to detail. At night, the view from the room was spectacular—I was moved thinking, "I can't believe such a place exists in Japan." I am truly grateful. Thank you very much.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    The top Hotel in the southern area of Itoman, Okinawa. High operational standards, clean, and attentive service. Although a large Hotel, the Premier Club Floor offers a relaxing, quiet, and leisurely stay. The morning lounge features a variety of bread as its centerpiece along with cheeses, several types of yogurt, and fruits. In the evening, there is an extensive selection of drinks and snacks; cocktails are especially enjoyable. By the outdoor poolside, occasional fountain shows add to the fun experience. Both indoor and outdoor pools are supervised by courteous staff who leave a great impression! The private beach-like sandy shore is also wonderful.

All the staff were kind and humble, offering warm and attentive service—thank you! The lounge was fantastic with a great selection of drinks and stylish, delicious light snacks. Breakfast in the same area was unique compared to other hotels, with refined flavors that left us completely satisfied. We went snorkeling via dragon boat, which became another highlight of our trip as we enjoyed the stunningly clear sea and blue skies. The rental equipment was clean, and the staff were friendly, making it an unforgettable experience. We look forward to visiting again!

    First stay in Itoman City Accommodation.

    Stay in a room with lounge access. The lounge was available for breakfast and brunch, which was very convenient. It would have been nice to have more cakes or similar treats during café time. The shampoo provided as an amenity left my hair feeling dry; perhaps there are other high-quality domestic options available. The turndown service was greatly appreciated!
