Thank you very much.
It was a clean Hotel, and the pool facilities were excellent. The staff were also polite and kind. The only drawbacks, which can’t really be helped, were that children are not allowed in the lounge after 5:00 PM and that it was difficult to use the washing machines (they were often in use, or people didn’t come to collect their laundry even after it finished). I understand these aren’t necessarily the Hotel’s fault, so I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I was able to enjoy another wonderful holiday. The balcony was even more beautifully maintained than last time, and I could relax while listening to the sound of the waves. It left me feeling refreshed and motivated to work hard again—and made me want to come back!

Birthday
We stayed here for my son’s birthday. I informed the property in advance that it was his birthday, and was told we would receive a congratulatory message and a small gift, but nothing was provided. I understand it was complimentary, but it left me feeling that special occasions like birthdays may be overlooked, so next time I will choose another place.

Outstanding support during the typhoon
We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days in a Premier Twin Room with club lounge access. We spent time in the club lounge many times and enjoyed a truly luxurious experience. The day before we were due to leave, we learned that our flight had been canceled due to a typhoon, so we stayed one more night in the same Room. The next day, our flight was delayed again because of the typhoon, and even after checking out, we were able to spend another three hours in the lounge before departure. Thank you very much.

During our stay, the...
During our stay, the pool area Facilities and the lifeguards’ support were excellent, and our whole family truly enjoyed that aspect. However, we experienced many extremely disappointing issues regarding the Hotel’s service and hygiene management. Hoping strongly for improvement, I am contacting you despite the bluntness of this message. Specifically, we have serious concerns about the following six points: 1. Front desk staff response The attitude was extremely cold and felt like the worst possible service with no sense of hospitality. This is deeply disappointing for a front desk that represents the Hotel. 2. Guestroom refrigerator hygiene management and staff response Upon entering the room, a salad—apparently left by a previous guest—was still inside the refrigerator. Moreover, although the inside was sticky and dirty, the staff member who came only removed the salad and left without cleaning it at all. This is unbelievable in terms of hygiene awareness and staff conduct. 3. Unfulfilled advance request (children’s pajamas) Although we requested children’s size pajamas by phone in advance, they were not prepared in our room. It seems there was no coordination at all. 4. Communication at the BBQ area We could not communicate in Japanese at all with a foreign staff member at the barbecue area, which made ordering and confirming necessary details very difficult. Please establish a system that allows at least basic communication. 5. Hygiene condition of washer-dryers The washer-dryers in the building were not maintained and were in a very dirty condition. As these are Facilities guests use regularly, please ensure thorough periodic cleaning and maintenance. 6. Incorrect amount at checkout At checkout, there was an error in the billed amount presented to us. Mistakes involving payment are critical issues that affect trust in the Hotel. While you have excellent hardware (such as the pool) and some outstanding staff (the lifeguards), I cannot help but feel that overall service quality, hygiene management, and staff training are far from adequate. I have stayed at many hotels over the years; however—and with respect—for a Resort Hotel in this price range, I must say that this stay’s service level and hygiene standards were among the worst I have ever experienced.

It is best to avoid staying during typhoon season.
We arrived fully intending to stay for 4 nights, but the restrictions were so tough that we moved to another Hotel partway through our stay. Unlike long-established properties, there was no flexibility in the rules or service: from the day before the typhoon, all pools and the beach were closed. Even though there was no wind, no rain, and the weather was still good, all exits to outside areas were locked. The indoor pool was overcrowded. There were no alternative events or activities either. This is very difficult for families with children. When I asked the front desk about plans for the next day, I was told, “We won’t know until tomorrow.” So I called another long-established Resort Hotel that had been my other option, and they said, “What? Our pool was operating as usual today. Tomorrow we’ll likely close only in the morning and open in the afternoon. The beach will be closed tomorrow but should be fine the day after.” I was surprised by how different their approach was. In the end, we changed Hotels immediately; after check-in we could use the pool right away, and on the following day even the beach right in front of us was open from morning—so we could truly enjoy Okinawa. Out of curiosity I later checked what happened at Ryukyu Hotel: full pool reopening wasn’t until the afternoon after the typhoon (closed for a total of 3.5 days), and it seems the beach remained closed until two days later as well. If we had stayed there throughout, I believe we would have been dissatisfied. I’m sorry this is a harsh Review, but I hope you will reconsider how you handle situations like this going forward.

Returning guests for three consecutive years
This is my fourth stay in the past three years. Compared to my first visits, the staff training has clearly improved, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The Hotel itself is very clean, and I use the club lounge every time—it’s consistently excellent. At night, you can also enjoy a beautiful starry sky. I travel to Hawaii every year, but this place truly feels like being abroad. I’ll be back again next year. If I can make time, I’d love to visit once more this year!

It was my first stay in two years, and a few things concerned me...
This was our first stay in two years, since our previous visit shortly after the Hotel opened. While the location, the newness of the Facility and equipment, and the variety of the breakfast buffet were still excellent, there were several situations that concerned us. - The wait time for check-in was extremely long—we waited about 40 minutes. → Having to spend that much time waiting meant we couldn’t do any sightseeing, which was very disappointing. My companion could only sit on a sofa in the lobby or stand around. → We were also told there weren’t enough staff to bring our luggage to the room, so we had to carry it ourselves. - Information we provided in advance was not reflected in our room or assistance. → Such as the number of children and their ages. - The breakfast venue staff seemed constantly rushed and not guest-first. → Many moved ahead without paying attention to their surroundings; we often had to give way to staff, and there was no thanks or even a nod. Overall, it felt like staffing levels were insufficient for a Hotel of this size. Since we had such a good impression last time, this stay was somewhat disappointing.

Stayed for a birthda...
Stayed for a birthday trip and some rest and recuperation. I love Okinawa and have stayed at various Hotels for over 20 years. This Hotel offers an amazing panoramic view of the ocean on clear days from the balcony on the upper floors, so I came again this year mainly for the sea view. During my stay, I just relaxed and took it easy at the Hotel. This year, unlike last year, I wasn’t kept waiting at check-in, there were more staff on duty, and it felt improved compared with last year—when Reviews often said “the facilities are great, but the service…” I was impressed by how smooth check-in was. However, unfortunately this year during my two-night/three-day stay—from check-in to check-out—the weather was heavy rain-level with thick clouds. Of course there’s nothing anyone can do about the weather, but if you can’t see that beautiful ocean view on a sunny day, it’s hard to feel excited or think “I’m glad I came,” even after paying high travel costs. It ended up feeling not worth the Accommodation price. There isn’t much around the Hotel area. Because of a chronic condition I don’t use the pool. (They give out complimentary beach sandals even if you don’t use them.) Breakfast is delicious with lots of variety, but there’s only one breakfast venue—having exactly the same setup both days felt repetitive. I wish there were more adult-oriented in-Hotel programs that adults could enjoy even on rainy days—such as Okinawan cooking classes or traditional weaving (hanaori) or pottery. I used to like it as a Hotel close to the airport where you can enjoy an amazing ocean view without going all the way to Onna Village—but will I come back again?

It is not luxurious.
Because it is a large Hotel near the airport newly opened in the southern part of the main island, I had been keeping an eye on it for a long time, and at last I was able to stay here with my daughter’s family. I posted a separate Review for my daughter’s family’s Premier Triple Room, so here is my Review of our stay as a couple. In short, it felt like a second-tier Macau hotel without a casino. Since it was our first stay, we didn’t know which location to choose when making the Reservation, and we ended up choosing poorly. As an elderly couple, we looked forward to watching our grandchildren play in the pool from our Room, but getting around took too long and the view was not good. The bed and pillows were on the level of a Business Hotel; the pillows also had an unpleasant feather smell, so I went to buy essential oil at the shop. The pillows went flat and I couldn’t sleep well—three nights was tough. That said, valet parking was available, and all staff were extremely kind and attentive to my husband in his wheelchair. I would like to express my sincere thanks. The system of no sheet changes or cleaning—towel replacement only—was very convenient. Breakfast was excellent: carefully handmade with an overwhelming variety. Outside are wide fields, and without a rental car you can’t really go anywhere from this location; I feel that if there were deli or bakery shops on-site, guests could spend their time more comfortably. It is close to the airport and convenient for sightseeing in the south; Itoman City also has great places for both lunch and dinner, which makes me want to return. However, as an extended-stay Hotel it feels somewhat unfinished, and when it comes to bedding comfort it falls far short of international brands. Except at check-in, all staff were kind and left a good impression—which makes this even more disappointing.

Child Sharing Existing Bedding: JPY 6,000 per night (meals not included)
I checked in after being assisted by a woman at the Hotel front desk whose attitude felt completely inappropriate for a Hotel. I was told that Child Sharing Existing Bedding would cost JPY 6,000 per night, and that breakfast for a 6-year-old would cost an additional JPY 1,000. Since there was no price display on the reservation site, this led to a lengthy back-and-forth. An unexpected expense suddenly arose, and with no smile and an intimidating manner, it honestly felt like I was checking into some shady Hotel. There was no welcome drink set up, my family was kept waiting for a long time, and it was extremely unpleasant—especially since I couldn’t understand why they needed to struggle so much when dealing with Japanese guests. We stayed in a Premium Triple, but what exactly is “premium” about it? The view was poor, the beds were on the level of a Business Hotel, and the pillows went flat as soon as you lay down; they also had an unpleasant feather smell. It wasn’t relaxing at all. My 6-year-old grandchild even said the newer hotel near DisneySea we stayed at recently was better. Even though we were charged properly for Child Sharing Existing Bedding, the child didn’t seem to be counted as part of the occupancy at all—there were no children’s amenities such as slippers provided, and my grandchild couldn’t even reach the sink. The indoor pool was always crowded, and there were foreign adults spraying water guns up at the ceiling. The outdoor pool also felt quite cramped because large float rings and various items were not restricted. That said, the lifeguards left a good impression. What stood out most was breakfast: there was an impressive variety of options, everything seemed carefully prepared, and it all tasted great. It’s remarkable to be able to offer breakfast at that level these days. Although I carried the unpleasant feeling from check-in until the end of our stay, all other staff members were very kind and left me with a very positive impression.

The buffet selection and the restaurant staff are very good, but
The pool and dining are great, and the restaurant staff work very hard, but my overall impression is that the Room cleaning is lacking. This was my second stay. The pool offers a variety of options that both children and adults can enjoy. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection and tastes authentic. In particular, the curries are served with basmati or Thai rice, and the Chinese rice porridge is excellent—on par with specialty restaurants. The hospitality of the restaurant staff at places like Kanazawa and Sanraku is also wonderful. On the other hand, the Room was dirty, which was extremely disappointing. Last time, trash from a previous guest was left right in the middle of a chair; this time, there were clearly hairs that did not belong to my family, dead insects in noticeable places, and some unidentified clumps in corners. Compared with other Accommodations/Hotels, it’s obvious that cleaning is insufficient. Last time I informed the front desk, but this time I was so fed up that I didn’t even bother contacting them. It doesn’t seem likely to improve, so I would like you to provide something like a handheld vacuum cleaner in the Room.

Great location, great Facility, and even better service—we were very satisfied. We couldn’t do a Multiple Night Stay due to the typhoon, but both my wife and I would love to stay here again. Thank you to all the staff.

No mistakes.
I’ve stayed here about three or four times, and I think it’s the best Resort Hotel on Okinawa’s main island. - The Room is clean, spacious, and feels very open. - The breakfast selection is huge. Even compared with other Hotels in the same class, it stands out, and everything is delicious. There is no live kitchen. - There are many different types of pools, so you won’t get bored. I visited with two small children, and they happily played the whole time. They especially loved the tipping-bucket pool feature. - Access isn’t great if you’re planning to visit Churaumi Aquarium or sightsee in the northern area, but aside from that, it’s an excellent Resort stay with nothing to complain about. Every time I stay here, I want to come back again.

The lounge is absolutely amazing!
This was my second stay, following last year’s visit. I chose a Plan with lounge access and took the bus from the airport. When the direct bus arrived and I asked to Check Reservation, they immediately confirmed my Plan and guided me straight to the lounge. Perhaps my details from last year were still on file, because they skipped much of the usual paperwork and completed check-in quickly. I enjoyed the lounge right away. The drinks were great, but the lemonade was outstanding! Last year I was able to see the sunset, but unfortunately this year it was hidden by clouds—however, if the weather is clear, you can enjoy spectacular views. Breakfast was also served in the lounge. There is an incredible variety of bread! And every single one is delicious. My wife said the canelé was so good it’s unlike anything she’s had elsewhere. It’s easy to overeat in the morning. We stayed for three nights and were very satisfied with this Hotel. I’d love to make it our regular place whenever we visit Okinawa!

An Elegant Moment
This time, I made a Reservation for the Club Lounge Access Plan as a Multiple Night Stay. At the club lounge, every staff member was pleasant, and I was able to enjoy an elegant and relaxing time. In particular, thank you to the tall Mr. N at reception and Ms. E on the lounge team for sharing various Hotel information and providing heartfelt hospitality. This is a Hotel I would like to return to again.

I was really looking forward to it, so I was disappointed.
This Hotel was one my family had recommended, and I’d been hoping to stay here someday. From the photos I was shown, as well as the official website and Instagram, it looked like you could see the ocean, the pool, and palm trees from the Room windows—so I was really looking forward to spending Golden Week here and relaxing. We arrived at around 1:30 p.m., and were told check-in would be available from 2:00 p.m., so we waited in the lobby until then. When we went to the counter at 2:00 p.m., we were told we could check in but that our Room still wouldn’t be available. We had no choice but to leave our luggage and go to the pool. I wish this had been explained clearly from the start. Around 4:00 p.m., we finally checked in properly and headed to our long-awaited Room. Our guest room was on the 4th floor and very far from the elevator. When we opened the window… “?????” A lawn stretched out right in front of us, and we honestly wondered where we were. It was completely different from what we had imagined, which left us shocked and disappointed. Worried, I called the front desk and was told, “All Rooms have an ocean view, so there are no other Rooms available.” There wasn’t much more I could say. Because our expectations were high, it made me feel even sadder—so my husband called again. “We’ll check with management; there may be an additional charge,” they said. Since dinner time was approaching, we went to speak with them after dinner. - We could move Rooms for JPY 4,400 per night - It would also be possible for only one night starting the next day; however, they said we would need to check out once for cleaning purposes, so check-in would not be possible until after 5:00 p.m. We were truly shocked. We wanted to enjoy a better view—but if it’s only for the next night with a check-in after 5:00 p.m., that defeats the purpose… so we declined. There were also a few things that felt off: - A large notice about guidelines regarding customer harassment was posted at reception It made me uneasy—does this happen often? Is this because many guests complain about Room views? - The chlorine level in the lazy river seemed very strong; I couldn’t use it on day one (I also heard another guest ask when children would be able to enter) I’ve traveled to Okinawa many times and stayed at Resort Hotels often—and service has usually been excellent. However, something like this has honestly never happened before, and during our three-day stay I couldn’t fully relax because it kept bothering me. I’m writing this Review because I don’t want future guests to have the same experience.

We stayed on the Club Floor.
I stayed one night on the Club Floor. It was a relaxing time thanks to the wonderful facilities and service. The lounge menu was also delicious. Regarding the two cocktails on the evening menu, the finely crushed ice makes them hard to drink, so I think it would be better to change the size of the ice. As for the Room amenities, there was only one small bottle each of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. My friend who showered first likely held back and couldn’t use enough so as not to leave me short. I have stayed on Club Floors at various Hotels, and they always provide one set per person. This was my first time seeing one set shared between two people, and I felt sorry for my friend. I hope these two points can be improved. That said, I was impressed by the wonderful view and facilities. Thank you very much.

I had another comfortable stay this time as well.
I stayed for two nights right after the Golden Week holidays in May. The weather was rainy every day due to an early start to the rainy season, but I still enjoyed the club lounge and the gym. Breakfast in the lounge was, as always, bread-focused, but this time there were many smaller portions so I could try a variety. The lemonade was outstanding—I had it every day. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. I’d love to stay again and look forward to my next visit.

We had a relaxing stay.
I love Okinawa and travel there almost every year. This time, I wanted to stay at a Hotel I hadn’t tried before, so I chose this one. What I liked was that it’s closer to the airport than Hotels in the north, the pool facilities are excellent, and since it’s a relatively new Hotel, the building and Room were very clean. We stayed in a top-floor Room, so the view was beautiful. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was very tasty, but it would be even better if there were at least one live kitchen station where a chef prepares dishes on the spot. Also, I couldn’t find makeup remover, so I wish the amenities were more complete (these days even Business Hotels tend to offer well-stocked amenities). The beach right in front of the Hotel is in its natural state, so I recommend bringing marine shoes.

Checked in at 3:00 PM.\nHowever, there was a very long line at the front desk.\nIt was Golden Week, so it couldn’t be helped.\nStill, each party took more than about 10 minutes, and those waiting were getting a bit irritated.\nIt might be better if the operation around that could be improved.\nDinner was BBQ. It was Hotel pricing, but we enjoyed it very much.\nThere were plenty of lifeguards at the pool keeping a close watch, so we felt safe letting our child swim.\nAlso, thanks to IKYU, we had a late check-out.\nBeing able to stay that extra hour made us very happy.\nThis was our third stay.\nIt’s a Hotel we’d like to stay at again.\nThank you very much.

My Favorite Hotel
This is one of the Hotels I always stay at when traveling to Okinawa. It truly feels like a resort, and looking out at the beautiful ocean from the Room balcony really makes me feel like I’m in Okinawa. The Room is clean, and the Hotel staff are always courteous and attentive. It’s a very comfortable Hotel. I’ll definitely stay here again next year. Thank you very much.

Etiquette for Group Guests
The location is so convenient—close to the airport, with the pool connected to a private beach. The buffet was excellent, and the staff’s hospitality was wonderful. This was my fourth stay, and my first time using the club lounge; we could enjoy light snacks and drinks (including alcohol) at any time, and once again we had a very meaningful stay. However... at the limousine bus stop that connects directly to the airport, there must have been more than 15 sheets of copied paper taped to the Hotel wall with handwritten group names! On top of that, it had turned into an improvised storage area for a huge number of suitcases. That spot has an impressive large Hotel name built into the wall, and my wife and I always take commemorative photos there—but this time even directly under the Hotel name there were handwritten copied papers stuck on with packing tape, completely ruining it, so we didn’t take any photos. Since it’s also where guests get on and off the bus, I was shocked by how little consideration there was for the scenery. Of course I assume this is done with permission from the Hotel, but wasn’t anyone thinking about how individual guests would feel!? Or did no one mind having papers posted all around such a fine Hotel logo? It really made me question their sense of judgment. One more thing: there was live music at night near the suite-only pool. We were staying on the 9th floor of the club building; we could hear it clearly, and when we stepped out onto our balcony we could distinctly hear a great singer. I thought it was only held on Fridays and Saturdays as announced, so I gave up—but I had no idea it would be happening on my final night (Wednesday). If you had informed us earlier in some way, I could have enjoyed my last night with a drink in hand—so that was disappointing. We plan to visit again in June. Because this is such a wonderful Hotel that we truly love, I hope you will provide better consideration and clearer announcements so nothing like this happens again.

A wonderful Hotel, just as rumored.
My spouse and I stayed for the first time for 3 nights and 4 days. For the past few years we had been staying at the Southern Beach Hotel in Itoman City every year, but this time we chose Ryukyu because of its exceptionally high ratings. Just as introduced on YouTube and in reviews, we couldn’t find a single point to deduct anywhere (honestly, I can’t understand why anyone would leave a negative review). The lounge was especially relaxing, and we loved that children are not allowed in at night. We also paid an additional fee for breakfast on one day (half price) to try the buffet—both the lounge breakfast and the buffet have their own appeal, so we definitely recommend trying the buffet at least once. There are so many on-site restaurants that it’s hard to choose. With our combined age being over 120, we didn’t go out anywhere—we simply enjoyed our time at the Hotel. Relaxing on the beach while looking out at the sea almost makes you feel like you’re overseas. At a Resort Hotel like this, you don’t even need to go abroad for a resort vacation—this place alone is more than enough to unwind and recharge. My wife was extremely satisfied and seems to have really loved it, so we’ve already decided to come back again next year. Thank you very much to all of the staff for your wonderful hospitality.

A resort close to the airport
We stayed 4 nights on a high floor and 3 nights on the club floor to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. This is a wonderful, new, clean Hotel conveniently located near the airport. I informed the Hotel in advance that it was our 50th anniversary because I wanted to make my wife happy, but it was disappointing that there was no comment or acknowledgment at all. In that case, I don’t think it’s necessary to include wording such as “Please let us know about anniversaries or special occasions.” Breakfast at “Nashiro” offered a wide variety of options, but breakfast in the club lounge was limited, which was disappointing. The pool facilities are excellent, and I think this is an enjoyable Hotel for families with children.

I will never go again.
I confirmed my Reservation in advance by phone and email, but the staff member who handled my check-in that day had no information and I had to explain everything again. After being shown to my Room, it turned out it wasn’t ready, and I was made to stand and wait in front of the door for about five minutes. There was no apology—only “I’ll check.” When I finally got into the Room, staff came in two or three times to retrieve items that had been mistakenly placed there (items intended for another Room), so I couldn’t relax at all. I have never experienced such a terrible check-in. The Accommodation is expensive, but the service is awful and it feels like staff training is inadequate. A Business Hotel would be far better. There was also no explanation of the Diamond member benefit of a 1,000 yen credit unless I asked. I cannot recommend this Hotel. I will never return.

We stayed here again after some time away as a treat for my wife. Thanks to your wonderful hospitality, we both felt truly refreshed. It was my first time...
It was my first time in a large Hotel in a while. The building is relatively new, and the Facility is very clean. There is a lounge, and from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM a bartender will make cocktails for you. Non-alcoholic cocktails were also available. Breakfast in the lounge is Western-style only, but there are over 25 kinds of bread—all delicious—and the clam chowder was exactly to my taste. There were also overseas tour groups, and it seemed to be a popular Hotel for families with children as well. I thought the view of Meijo Beach from the Hotel would have been amazing on a clear day. Even in the rain, the sea was blue. The view when you enter the entrance was outstanding.

We had a very satisfying stay.
This was our first trip to Okinawa in a while since COVID. We used to stay at Hotel Nikko Alivila often. At our children’s request, we chose this property with the conditions of having a reasonably sized pool and easy access to the beach, and it exceeded our expectations. Although the water temperature was a bit low during spring break, we fully enjoyed both the pool and the beach. The Facility is new and clean, and we had no complaints about the Room or the Facility. We had dinner once at “Sanraku,” which was reasonably priced among the on-site restaurants and very tasty. Breakfast was also excellent—we went twice and were very satisfied. Since there is only one breakfast venue, we were able to enter without waiting on weekdays during spring break; however, we felt that the spacing between seats was quite narrow (there were several spots where you couldn’t pass each other without yielding). We also felt that if guests could choose from two more restaurants for breakfast, it would help create a more comfortable flow. Compared with Alivila, there is a shop here as well, but it would be appreciated from a guest perspective if you could add something more like a convenience store. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
