    This is a wonderful Hotel.

    The service, meals, and Room were all wonderful, and we had a comfortable stay from start to finish. The Room was spotless and well maintained in every detail, making it very relaxing. We were also able to enjoy the private bath at our leisure without having to wait, which felt truly luxurious. Above all, we were deeply moved by the unexpected surprise prepared for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff, it became an unforgettable special memory. It was a lovely Hotel that we would definitely like to visit again.

    An Ultra-Luxurious Stay

    We stayed here for his birthday trip. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such thoughtful care, and we experienced truly wonderful hospitality—from breakfast and dinner service to seeing us off when we left. Thanks to the warmth of all the staff, I genuinely came to love this Accommodation from the bottom of my heart. As it is all-inclusive, the welcome drink on arrival (I chose The Premium Malt’s), the alcohol and ice cream in the lounge, and even the ochazuke served during bar time were all outstanding—and being able to enjoy as much as we wanted felt almost too luxurious. The meals were carefully prepared; everything was refined and delicious. We were seated by the window, so we could relax while looking out at the trees outside. I hesitated until the last minute about which Room to choose, but I’m so glad we went with the maisonette type—it felt like a two-story house and was absolutely the right choice. It was more modern and spotless than I expected, honestly surprising me in a good way, and I’m really glad we stayed here. The amenities were more than enough for just two people, and it was such a stylish space that I think it would also be a great Room for families with small children. The time was so luxurious and happy that there were even things I wanted to do but didn’t get to, so I would love to return again soon. Thank you very much.

    We are truly grateful.

    This was my first time staying here. Because of the heavy snowfall that had been continuing since the day before, we got stuck in severe traffic, and our planned 3:00 PM arrival ended up being after midnight. The staff contacted us several times and encouraged us to come safely without pushing ourselves, which really put me at ease when I was feeling sorry for the trouble. We arrived late at night, but due to the snow we couldn’t drive all the way to the Hotel. We parked in a lot about 200 meters away and walked over, but a staff member came to meet us and carried our luggage, which was a huge help. It took a full 14 hours from leaving Tokyo to arriving at the Hotel, but I’m glad we made it safely. Even after we arrived, I truly appreciated the staff’s thoughtfulness. It was around 1:00 AM by then, but they kindly provided a light meal, which I was very grateful for. It was disappointing that we couldn’t have dinner, but breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. The snowy scenery was beautiful, but this trip was extremely challenging. I sincerely appreciate all of your kindness—thank you very much. I would love to visit again when the weather is better.

    Fifth stay—looks like you really love it here.

    This was my fifth stay. For an all-inclusive plan, getting a one-night stay for two people on a weekend/holiday eve for under 100,000 yen is astonishing value for money. My favorite Room is one without an in-room open-air bath—because the private open-air baths are available almost anytime, and they’re larger and more comfortable than an in-room bath. The lounge drink selection has also improved a lot, with many more soft drinks and upgrades like a draft beer server. (My wife says the canelés here are unbelievably good.) Champagne is now offered only at dinner, but it’s still all-you-can-drink. They also accommodate even picky pairings perfectly—sparkling wine with appetizers, sake with sashimi, white wine with fish dishes, and red wine with meat dishes. The karaoke room is free with unlimited drinks, and late-night snacks are also provided free of charge—it’s almost too generous. The large dried horse mackerel at breakfast is as delicious as ever; I can’t enjoy it anywhere else anymore. You can also ask the Accommodation to ship this dried fish—I sent some to friends and it was a huge hit. Since I’m not good with insects, I’ll definitely be back again in winter.     I had a relaxing time again.

    This time, celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, we selected the premium cuisine course for the first time. The ingredients were excellent and overall we were satisfied, but there were a few disappointing points. One was the foie gras served at the beginning; it seemed undercooked and felt like eating raw foie gras, which didn’t suit my taste. Another was the beef comparison dish at the end; while the filet was outstanding, the sirloin—though likely high-quality meat—was overly fatty to the point of feeling like a lump of fat, which left me feeling heavy. Other than that, everything was excellent. However, because our expectations were high, these points left us slightly disappointed. As for service, all staff members were as friendly as always with no issues at all. However, since dinner started simultaneously for everyone at 6:00 PM and it took over 10 minutes after receiving our first drink for the initial dish to arrive—it felt a bit too long to wait. This had never happened during previous visits. Lastly, if I may make one request: while I understand preparations are necessary in advance—the late-night snacks in your lounge currently start at 9:45 PM; it would be wonderful if they could begin around 9:15 PM instead. Although this review includes some critical comments overall—we had an incredibly relaxing stay here again! We look forward finding another opportunity soon-to-visit again soon!     The hospitality was ...

    The hospitality was excellent. The staff were very attentive and created a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. The lounge offered unlimited drinks, snacks, and treats like canelés 24/7, which was amazing. Both dinner and breakfast featured carefully prepared dishes that were absolutely delicious. With unlimited karaoke access, we enjoyed our time at the Hotel from check-in to check-out. The only downside was the lack of a relaxation space after using the sauna. It was slightly inconvenient to have to get dressed and move to the adjacent open-air bath for relaxation. From arrival to departure, it was pure happiness. I would love to stay again and highly recommend this Accommodation to friends and family!

    Thank you for your patronage.

    The room was a Maisonette Twin. The open-air bath on the terrace was a circulation type, but there was no chlorine smell at all. Wearing a gown up to the edge of the bathtub reduced the cold, and hearing birds chirping while bathing was incredibly soothing. I had seen online that the bathtub was small and had no expectations, but it felt so good that I ended up using it five times during my two-night stay. Thank you for preparing a special dessert platter to celebrate my husband's birthday during dinner. Since we couldn't finish all the desserts, including the regular ones, they were kindly repackaged for us to enjoy in our room. You even took photos with our camera—such thoughtful service! Thank you also for accommodating dietary preferences. The ochazuke served during bar time lived up to its reputation and was delicious. On the second day, we received very detailed directions to Lake Ippeki. Thanks to this guidance, we were able to have lunch and return smoothly to the hotel without getting lost. I do have one request: During Multiple Night Stays when cleaning is not provided, it's great that necessary amenities or tea packs can be requested as needed; however, it would be appreciated if used coffee cups could also be replaced. Thank you for covering taxi fares from the station and providing transportation back to the station upon departure. All staff members were very courteous in their service. We plan on visiting again in March with our son as a group of three. Looking forward to another wonderful stay!

    We returned for a family reward trip. The warm hospitality and relaxing environment always make for a pleasant stay. Although there were some changes to the drink options, everything was delicious, especially the gelato, which our daughter loved. However, we noticed some areas like the hallways and changing rooms felt cold. It would have been nice if the pants of the yukata were slightly longer as my ankles felt chilly. Additionally, when we went to take a bath right after arriving (expecting it to be freshly cleaned), there was quite a bit of hair on the floor in the changing room, which was disappointing. The meals were all very delicious! We left saying we'd love to come back again someday.

    We stayed here for a family trip during the New Year. The day before, it snowed, and the taxi without snow tires had to stop midway. However, the staff kindly came to pick us up, which was a great help. Thank you so much! Since it was all-inclusive, we could enjoy unlimited drinks during the course meals. They even accommodated requests like "just half," allowing us to pair various drinks with our meals perfectly—very satisfying! On the other hand, one disappointing experience was during breakfast when I noticed an ingredient I didn't like on the menu. I politely asked if it hadn't been prepared yet and if it could be omitted if possible (but said it's okay if not). While one staff member kindly responded that they would check, another staff member loudly remarked to them, "Of course that's impossible!" which we overheard clearly. It made me feel very apologetic. For a Ryokan in this price range, I would have appreciated such exchanges being handled discreetly behind the scenes. Other than that, everything else was satisfying!

    The perfect accommodation to celebrate Christmas Eve.

    This was our second visit following last year, staying in the same room, Room 202 on the second floor of the annex. The view of the forest from the window is truly soothing. Dinner began with a Japanese-Western fusion course, starting with an amuse-bouche of "Beef Tongue Pot-au-Feu" paired perfectly with turnips and carrots. The appetizers included four dishes: creamy "Taro Croquette," vibrant green "Oyster Gyokuro," bite-sized "Fuji Pork Confit," and colorful "Sakura Shrimp Quiche." Today's sashimi featured fresh catches from Izu's sea: bluefin tuna, onagadai, tairagai clam, grunt fish (isaki), and red sea bream (madai). Next came a special dish from the chef—"Ise Lobster with Yuzu Butter Aroma." Since I don't eat lobster, mine was substituted with abalone. The fish course was crispy-skinned "Winter Spanish Mackerel Meunière." A palate cleanser followed—a sweet and rich "Mishima Carrot Soup" topped with mackerel and shirako. After a refreshing interlude of “Apple & Cinnamon Granita,” it was time for the main meat dish: “Roasted Beef Fillet” served with slightly sweet apple sauce and karasumi powder for a delightful balance of flavors. Dessert featured Paris-Brest pastry alongside sorbet adorned by an adorable Santa made from strawberries—so cute it felt almost too precious to eat! The private Onsen baths and sauna are available starting at 5 AM. Both offer an incredibly refreshing first soak; however, since the sauna only reaches about 80°C (176°F), I found myself drinking lots of water as sweating took longer than expected. Breakfast consisted of a traditional Japanese set meal featuring an assortment in a colorful box resembling a treasure chest: chicken tsukune meatballs mixed with lotus root, potato salad (egg salad), Onsen egg, simmered squid in sansho pepper sauce, mirugai clam sashimi, grated radish topped with whitebait shirasu fish flakes; kamaboko fish cake slices; pickled vegetables—all beautifully arranged! This was followed by miso soup made using clams ("Asari no Miso Shiru") along w/ homemade steamed custard ("Kuya-Mushi") containing sesame tofu before unveiling their signature grilled dried horse mackerel fillet (“Special Ajino Himono”), which brightened up our table instantly! Paired perfectly alongside freshly cooked Nagano-grown Koshihikari rice—it became impossible not asking seconds repeatedly until full satisfaction reached! Finally ending breakfast journey via dessert bowl filled w/ chewy millet mochi dumplings swimming inside warm zenzai red bean soup flavored delicately yet richly enough leaving stomachs nearly bursting capacity beforehand—but determination prevailed finishing every last bite including soft chestnut gluten pieces therein completing entire meal experience memorably fulfilling manner overall! At lounge area’s free drink station selection proved equally impressive offering sparkling wines plus reds whites stored mini wine cellar units nearby chilled beer highball cans stocked mini fridge spaces further complemented ice creams snacks even instant ramen cups tasting surprisingly delicious earning top marks across board altogether though overindulgence led us crashing beds prematurely missing late-night snack service entirely repeating prior year mistake again despite best intentions otherwise resolved writing postcard reminder ourselves pledging return revisit next upcoming year instead rectifying past errors properly future ahead assuredly better planned outcome anticipated accordingly thereafter!

    An accommodation where you can spend special moments and space with a genuine feeling.

    Thank you once again for a wonderful stay. As the title suggests, this accommodation offers a special time and space where I can feel at ease, which is why I keep coming back. In these times when everything seems to be rising in cost, it's natural to see changes in what is added or removed. Even so, I truly admire the thoughtful efforts made here to maintain quality. What remains consistent and reassuring is the staff's perfectly friendly and pleasant service! I look forward to my next visit.

    This was my third stay at the accommodation. Although I arrived about 30 minutes early for check-in due to my excitement, I was warmly welcomed—thank you so much. I was also very happy to be greeted with "Welcome back" during this stay, just like during my second visit. It made me feel glad to return here again. From November, some rules have changed: the refrigerator now only contains water, and other beverages can be taken freely from the lounge; dinner time is unified at 6:00 PM instead of choosing between 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM; and the lounge is now accessible 24 hours a day. Personally, I found these changes very convenient and appreciated them. In previous stays, my wife enjoyed alcoholic drinks while I opted for soft drinks since I don't drink alcohol. During this visit's dinner, a staff member kindly asked if it would be okay for me to have dessert containing alcohol before serving it. While I'm fine with alcohol in desserts, their thoughtfulness in remembering that I don't drink alcohol and taking the time to confirm really touched me. Once again, thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff, delicious meals, and relaxing onsen experience, I felt completely refreshed during this stay. When leaving by taxi on our departure day, several staff members waved us off enthusiastically—I couldn't help but wave back just as energetically (laughs). The three days and two nights flew by so quickly! This place truly feels like somewhere I'd want to stay over and over again. I'll definitely come back!

    Always satisfied. The Room and Facility are well-maintained and clean. Dinner portions are appropriate, with a focus on quality. The grilled horse mackerel at breakfast is impressive and delicious. Additionally, the bar is available until checkout, so there's no need to worry about the room refrigerator. However, the tasty Mago Chazuke for a late-night snack is only available until 11 PM.

    We used the accommodation for our wedding anniversary and were very satisfied. The service and food were especially excellent. The open-air bath was nice, but the tub felt a bit small. For the private bath, availability is checked via QR code, but while moving from the room to the bath, other guests sometimes got there first, which was slightly inconvenient. The amenities were perfect in both quantity and quality. We would love to stay again.

    We had a wonderful time.

    Decided to relax nearby and chose Ito. It was my first time staying at an all-inclusive Hotel. Checked in at 4:00 PM, had dinner at 6:00 PM, and checked out at 12:00 PM without watching TV even once during the stay. Enjoyed a relaxing bath, delicious meals, karaoke, and had a truly wonderful time. What impressed him was that they noticed he was left-handed and provided a dessert spoon and morning chopsticks designed for left-handed use. Also memorable was the male staff member who waved us off so enthusiastically as we departed. Thank you for the many Diamond Member special souvenirs!

    Kaze no Kaori

    The Hotel truly felt like being in the middle of a forest, as its name suggests. The private bath was just the right size, and the Room was quiet and comfortable. The meals were good, but they didn’t quite match my personal taste, so I gave it four stars—sorry about that. I took a morning walk to Lake Ippeki, but it was disappointing that there were no clear signs for guidance and it was very hard to find. It’s also unfortunate that some walking paths were closed due to disputes over private property.

    Enjoy a Relaxing Time for Adults

    We stayed at Kaze no Kaoru Mori for a birthday trip. Wanting to escape the daily hustle and bustle and simply relax, we chose this exclusive accommodation with only 7 rooms for adults. From the moment we arrived, we felt confident that our choice was perfect. The interior was clean and serene. Our room, complete with a private onsen, was exceptional. The quality of the all-inclusive service was also outstanding. Every staff member provided warm and welcoming hospitality. As for the meals, they were truly impressive. The fusion course created by the head chef with a background in Japanese cuisine was beautifully presented and deliciously highlighted each ingredient's natural flavors. Even breakfast brought joy through its carefully selected tableware; the grilled horse mackerel had an unmatched size and flavor compared to any ryokan we've visited before! I usually can't finish my breakfast, but this time I wanted to eat every bite—and I did—surprising my partner! A photo taken in front of the hotel upon departure captured us smiling brightly thanks to the staff's perfect coordination during photography. There wasn’t a single downside; everything exceeded our expectations at this hotel. While it is slightly pricey, it is absolutely worth every penny. We’ve decided to make this our go-to accommodation for special occasions. Thank you so much to all of you—including the assistant manager—for making our stay unforgettable!

    We stayed here for a memorable trip with two close friends. The concept of our trip was "chat as much as we want!" but we also wanted to prioritize private time for rest. After searching for a hotel that could meet these wishes, we found the Platinum Suite Plan, which offers an entire floor rental at this hotel. The room included a spacious living-dining area and three twin bedrooms. We could enjoy meals, Onsen, and even karaoke all on one floor, making it perfect for our cozy chat-focused getaway. The meals were plentiful with just the right portions, allowing all three of us to finish everything deliciously. However, the grilled horse mackerel served at breakfast was so substantial that it alone made us feel full (laughs). The staff were all pleasant and provided attentive yet unobtrusive service, which felt very comfortable. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this hotel but would like to mention two points that could have made our stay even better: 1. While there was a wide variety of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks available, as non-drinkers we would have appreciated more sweets options. At the lounge on the first floor, there was only one type of canelé and gelato available; compared to other hotels' lounges offering cakes or baked goods, this felt lacking. Since there were many coffee and tea options available too, having sweets to pair with them would have been ideal. 2. The Onsen within the floor felt cold due to its spaciousness; additionally, the shower water pressure was low which made shampooing take longer and left us feeling chilly during use. Of course, soaking in the bath warmed us up again—perhaps turning off ventilation fans during bathing might help maintain warmth better? Meanwhile in contrast though—the showers in private baths had sufficient water pressure. Despite these points mentioned above—we thoroughly enjoyed uninterrupted time together chatting endlessly & singing karaoke while creating wonderful memories at this hotel! Thank you very much!

    The room was a maiso...

    The room was a maisonette type, but it was not relaxing. The stairs were steep, and the upper part was carpeted while the lower part was wooden, making it easy to slip if not careful when going up or down. I almost slipped on the wooden part while descending but fortunately avoided injury. Additionally, there was no light on the staircase, and since the toilet was only in the lower room, I had to leave the lights on in that room at night to use it. However, as there were shoji windows in the upper bedroom, the light from below made it too bright to sleep comfortably. The bed also had a thin mattress and was placed on an elevated platform that was difficult to climb onto and uncomfortable for sleeping. Overall, this room is not suitable for elderly guests. As for meals, I had been looking forward to them; however, "today's special dish from the chef" during dinner featured shrimp with poor texture and mediocre taste (possibly due to old ingredients?). The breakfast offered variety but fell short as well—the main dish of grilled horse mackerel (aji) was undercooked and disappointing.

    I had a relaxing time.

    It was our annual onsen trip with close friends. This luxurious journey, staying at various accommodations, marked its 22nd year, and this time the reviews from everyone were quite positive. We enjoyed an all-inclusive experience in a spacious room. The late-night magochazuke was delicious. For a large group, having three bedrooms was perfect, allowing everyone to relax comfortably in their own beds. The only thing missing was a standout dish to make it truly exceptional, but overall it was very satisfying. When I shared the experience with my family, they were intrigued and made an immediate reservation. My sister will be staying there next May; please take good care of her!

    It was excellent.

    We visited to celebrate my husband's birthday. We chose a maisonette twin room. The open-air bath in the room had the perfect temperature, and the water was very smooth and pleasant. The room was quiet, and having several types of hair dryers available was convenient. For dinner, we opted for a sashimi boat platter, which turned out to be quite large and surprising! However, it was fresh and delicious, so we finished it quickly between the two of us. The meals were very satisfying overall. The ochazuke during bar time was also delicious. With fewer rooms in the accommodation, the lounge felt spacious and relaxing. Having access to a karaoke room was also great fun—we thoroughly enjoyed it! The local specialty gift set for Diamond members included various items that made us happy. Unfortunately, as it rained almost continuously during our two-day stay, we couldn't use the chairs in the garden area. Additionally, since sandals for accessing the open-air bath got soaked from rainwater and even walking a few steps left us wet from rain exposure near windows without eaves or coverings—it would be nice if there were some protection there in such weather conditions! Breakfast with Japanese dishes tasted wonderful too! The staff's hospitality added comfort throughout our stay overall; everything exceeded expectations making both myself & husband delightedly satisfied—definitely considering returning again someday soon!!

    Family Trip

    We had a relaxing family time at the Onsen after a long while. The Room was spacious, and the private Onsen in the Room was also large, allowing us to unwind and enjoy some drinks while forgetting about daily life.     30th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

    We visited to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. From the moment we checked in, the atmosphere was filled with elegance and luxury. Since I planned everything myself, my wife was pleasantly surprised and very happy. Checking the availability of the baths was easy through a smartphone, allowing us to enjoy the Onsen without any worries. The meals were perfect for someone like me who enjoys drinks with dinner, and I couldn't have been more delighted. The only downside was that when I showed the Instagram follow screen, I was told "later," but nothing happened after that, which was a bit disappointing. Still, it became a wonderful memory for us—thank you very much!

    From the warm welcome at check-in to the heartfelt farewell at check-out (waving from the gate), everything was exceptional. The all-inclusive drinks were satisfying, and the happy moments flew by in no time. Every dish was outstanding, and the dried fish served at breakfast had perfect seasoning—I've never had such plump dried fish before. This is an accommodation I would definitely recommend to others!

    We took a taxi from Ito Station, but the accommodation is closer to Kawana Station and is located near Lake Ippeki in a lush green area with a Western-style mansion design. The interior has a calm atmosphere, allowing for a relaxing stay. 〇 The all-inclusive service was excellent, especially the drinks during dinner which were very delicious. 〇 Unfortunately, due to rain, we didn’t use the open-air bath in our room, but the private bath and dry sauna were fantastic. 〇 There was also karaoke available, and we had so much fun that time flew by during our stay. 〇 The restaurant had great ambiance; every dish was delicious, and the staff's hospitality left a positive impression. The grilled horse mackerel at breakfast was thick and exceptionally tasty—unlike anything we've had before. This time we stayed in a maisonette-type room; however, as my husband struggles with stairs, next time we plan to book a non-maisonette room instead. On departure, my husband enjoyed chatting with one of the male staff members at the lobby who was very polite—he mentioned wanting to meet him again on our next visit! We were also surprised by receiving many souvenirs! Our stay was incredibly enjoyable—we look forward to visiting again soon!

    I felt relaxed surrounded by lush greenery.

    We had a very pleasant stay. The weather was great, and the open-air bath in the Room was at a perfect temperature, so we used it multiple times. Although the maisonette layout felt slightly inconvenient as we were not used to it, the Room was clean, and the large glass windows made us feel surrounded by lush greenery, which was very relaxing. However, the flow from the shower room to the open-air bath could be improved. Also, is it necessary for the entrance of the Room to be that narrow? The meals were well-thought-out and delicious, with just the right portion sizes. The seating arrangement allowed us to enjoy our meal in a calm atmosphere, for which my wife is also grateful. It was a delightful surprise to see a baby boar appear beyond the glass, creating a memorable experience. We enjoyed the all-inclusive beer and snacks multiple times (though I wish I could have tried the ramen). On a side note, I felt that karaoke might not suit the atmosphere of "Kaze no Kaoru Mori." Hearing "Ai no Memory" while soaking in an open-air bath surrounded by lush greenery under the blue sky felt slightly out of place. It seemed like a missed opportunity to fully enjoy the ambiance (just my personal opinion). The staff provided excellent and pleasant service. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

    See you again!

    The small birthday gift was wonderful. Unlimited access to the room's bath. The meals were delicious. Check-out at 12 PM allowed for a relaxing morning bath. It was amazing! Thank you so much. I have made a reservation for November next time.

    It's my first visit in a year.

    I revisited with the hope of experiencing the same wonderful impression as last time. As expected, the comfort from check-in was exceptional, and the lounge provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed various drinks without worrying about the cost (very important!). Even though I was full, I couldn't resist ordering ochazuke during the post-dinner bar time—a delightful experience in such a beautiful space that made me lose track of time (last order at 11 PM). Seeing others enjoying themselves in the lounge even close to midnight made me feel that everyone shared similar sentiments. Once again, I had nothing but positive impressions and strongly wish to visit again. If I may make one small suggestion—it would be nice to try a different type of dried fish for breakfast next time. If your horse mackerel is this delicious, I'm sure other options would be equally amazing! Lastly, as mentioned before—the ice-cold beer is simply perfect.
