    Used by four generations

    We stayed with a group of 12, ranging from a 96-year-old grandfather to a 7-month-old baby. Everyone was satisfied with the comfortable space. The service was polite and friendly, leaving a good impression. We would like to use it again.

    9th night

    It was my 9th visit in a year and a half since my first visit at the end of March 2023. When I first visited, I decided to visit each season, so I went in summer, autumn, and winter. The staff's excellence, the delightful French cuisine with seasonal ingredients, the wonderful pairings, the 5:30 PM dinner to enjoy the staff meal, the usual island mother's breakfast, and the luxury of spending a leisurely time were all introduced to me. Recently, I have been planning and making reservations for visits as a drive after the delivery of my new car, but the delivery has been delayed, so I have been visiting almost every month. I look forward to the French dinner every time, as they change the ingredients and cooking methods. It is wonderful that Etajima-so has been nominated for the "World Luxury Hotel Awards 2024." It was a hidden Onsen Stays, but with more foreign guests, it has become difficult to make a Reservation, which is also a wonderful thing. I will visit with my new car next month.

    Always wonderful

    I visit every season. I always have a pleasant stay. The French dinner, wine pairing, late-night meal, and Japanese breakfast are all always very satisfying. I will visit again.

    Our all-inclusive refers to a plan with unlimited drinks during dinner and breakfast.

    All-inclusive means that meals, drinks, and activities are included in the accommodation fee. In other words, the appeal is that you can enjoy your stay without worrying about additional charges. However, at our Property, it was a free-flow Plan during dinner and breakfast. If this point is not understood, it could potentially cause trouble, especially with well-traveled Western guests. This is my first time experiencing such an all-inclusive Plan both domestically and internationally. Beer in the lobby lounge is charged. You can taste a small amount of wine and sake for free (white wine is not chilled). Private baths are also charged. The night bar is charged as well. The French dinner is not particularly distinctive but is ordinarily delicious. The all-inclusive (or rather free-flow Plan) menu is broadly categorized (wine, sake, beer, etc.) and does not specify brands. The amount poured varies depending on the server. Breakfast was simple but delicious. There is also a late-night snack. This time it was curry, which was also delicious. The service might still be in the development stage. Young staff often seem to be chatting happily among themselves and do not actively engage with guests. I had no particular complaints, but I felt that if friendly veteran staff guided them, the young staff could improve significantly. The guest rooms are not luxurious, but I thought the simplicity was best. The view of Etajima Bay from the room was very beautiful, and personally, I preferred it to the view at Miyajima. The Onsen is lukewarm but very warming. It was an Onsen where you could take a long bath. Etajima is a very scenic and wonderful place. Etajima-so is still a young Facility, so I look forward to its future development.

    It was excellent.

    It was really a shame that I arrived late! The lobby, terrace, and room were all very clean, and there were various surprises or things that entertained us, making it a very wonderful property! The food was delicious, and although the bath was a bit sharp and painful, it felt effective, haha. Anyway, I want to fully enjoy it again! It's definitely one of the properties I want to visit again!
