    We enjoyed a thoroughly attentive and thoughtful experience.

    I visited with my mother and wife. It was my late father's 63rd wedding anniversary with my mother on that day, and we were greeted with a beautiful bouquet of flowers upon arrival, which made my mother very happy. The Room and meals had a relaxing atmosphere, allowing us to unwind completely. Next time, I would love to visit during the fireworks season.

    My wife and I stayed at this accommodation, and we were able to relax both physically and mentally. Thank you very much. - Room & Amenities: The room was impeccably clean, down to every corner, providing a refreshing atmosphere. The view of Lake Suwa from the window was simply breathtaking. - Service: All staff members demonstrated exceptional hospitality skills. This hotel even offers a car wash service, leaving our car sparkling clean. Additionally, upon filling out the guest information during check-in and noting my age, we received a surprise bottle of juice as a birthday gift during dinner—such a touching gesture! - Onsen & Bath: The room had its own bath that transformed into an open-air bath when the windows were fully opened, offering an incredible view of Lake Suwa right in front of us. The bathtub was luxuriously designed with ample size and depth for comfort. Moreover, it featured natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source. - Facility: The entire facility exuded cleanliness and elegance. Several paintings adorned the walls throughout the premises, creating a refined ambiance complemented by touches of gold for a luxurious interior design feel. - Dining: High-quality ingredients befitting the price were used generously in every dish served to us—and they tasted excellent! Even as someone with a big appetite like myself, I left completely satisfied. - Overall Satisfaction: Every aspect deserves top marks across all categories! It felt as though profitability took second place to ensuring guests' needs were met with ease and grace—a truly remarkable accommodation that exudes confidence in its ability to deliver excellence on all fronts. The general manager along with all staff members displayed outstanding customer service skills that left an unforgettable impression on us. This is undoubtedly one of Shinshu's finest accommodations—a place worth visiting repeatedly throughout different seasons!

    A blissful moment that satisfies all your senses

    Enjoy a relaxing stay away from pollen by booking a room with an Onsen at this Hotel. I found the last available room here, and from the warm welcome to the farewell, every detail reflected exceptional hospitality. The elegant interior design, sophisticated sound system, and soothing fragrances created a truly comfortable atmosphere. As someone with house dust allergies who often experiences symptoms even with air purifiers at accommodations, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable my stay was here. The private Onsen overlooking Lake Suwa and snowy landscapes was absolutely amazing. The water temperature could be adjusted by controlling the flow, allowing for long soaks without feeling overheated. The creative Shinshu French cuisine was heartwarming in every aspect—from the dishes to the tableware and cutlery. Even when substituting ingredients I couldn’t eat, each replacement dish showcased thoughtful hospitality. Meeting the Grand Chef during his greeting visit made everything fall into place! The silky curry was rich and exquisite; it would be wonderful if they offered it as a ready-made product for purchase. The variety of breakfast options added excitement to my mornings—while I enjoyed their simple bread selection, having one unique option might elevate the experience further. Additionally, all fabric items were of excellent quality; in particular, their fluffy bathrobes were incredibly soft and comfortable—a perfect choice! I also loved their shampoo and conditioner so much that I purchased refill packs as well; considering their quality ingredients, they are reasonably priced. This stay truly satisfied all five senses and left me feeling rejuvenated—thank you very much! If there’s any minor feedback: the pillow didn’t quite suit me perfectly, and having tea available in either the Room or lounge would have been delightful. I hope to visit again during fireworks season next time!

    It was a highly satisfying stay.

    I finally had the chance to stay at the lakeside Western-style mansion I had been curious about! Each Room is very spacious, allowing for a limited number of guest rooms and a relaxing stay. The private open-air bath in the Room overlooking Lake Suwa washed away all my daily fatigue. Dinner featured plenty of local ingredients, and the specialty Silk Curry was absolutely delicious. When my wife felt unwell at night, thank you for your sincere support. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy our trip until the very end the next day. As others have mentioned, this Hotel truly showcases the thoughtful care of its staff members.

    It was a relaxing moment.

    I was healed by the attentive service and thoughtfulness of all the staff. Especially since my mother is in a wheelchair, there were many times when we had to be careful moving around the facility, and I cannot express how much we were saved by the staff's consideration... Thank you very much. The meals were delicious, and the guest room and futon were comfortable, allowing us to sleep soundly. However, there is a reason why the evaluation of the Onsen and bath was slightly lower. There was a large fixed shower directly overhead, causing me to accidentally get drenched from above. The lighting was also dim, making it difficult for elderly people to see the faucet markings clearly; thus I felt it was an inconvenient shower for them. Additionally, if tire covers could be provided so that wheelchairs can be used indoors as well, it would be perfect. Other than that, I am very satisfied and would like to use your services again. Thank you very much once again; it turned out to be an enjoyable meal and Onsen trip.

    It was wonderful this time as well.

    We usually visit around my wife's birthday, but this time, we stayed because my wife suggested that we go for my birthday for a change. Although I didn't specify our food preferences in detail this time, they prepared everything perfectly based on previous information. We usually have steak grilled at the counter, but due to last-minute reservations worrying about snow, we had a table seat instead. As a result, the staff serving us at the table were wonderful and the meal was delicious; it was an excellent dinner. As always, they washed our car and we enjoyed a pleasant bath at Katakurakan Senninburo (Katakurakan Senninburo). The view of Lake Suwa was as beautiful as ever and we relaxed in the lounge hammock. Breakfast was also delicious and we're looking forward to coming again. Thank you very much.

    This was my first stay here. The meals, facilities, and service were all excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the car wash service. The staff's hospitality was particularly courteous. I would love to stay again.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    I visited with my daughter. It was a new and clean Hotel with a small number of Rooms, allowing us to spend a relaxing and quiet time. Although there was no large public bath, there was a private Onsen in our Room with natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source. By adding cold water or hot water, we could quickly adjust the bath temperature to our liking, which made us very happy. It warmed us up thoroughly from the core of our bodies. Since it was an in-Room bath, we had the luxury of enjoying it as many times as we wanted. The Room was spacious and quiet, allowing us to sleep soundly. The bed sheets were smooth, and the futon was fluffy! The cleanliness was very comforting and healing. The staff were all very kind and provided excellent service. As for areas of improvement, the juice options in the Room were limited to tomato and apple, so it would have been nice to have more choices for children. I understand the SDGs initiative with the toothbrush, but the head was too large, making it difficult to use and causing discomfort, so I would appreciate it if you could consider other options. We enjoyed the meals. While there were some ingredients we didn’t prefer, that was our personal issue, and overall, the food was delicious. We would love to visit again.

    I was able to relax at this exquisite Stays.

    The hotel was within walking distance from the station, allowing us to explore the town of Suwa before being welcomed by a lovely entrance. The room was spacious, and the meals were visually appealing, using luxurious ingredients abundantly, making them very delicious. Above all, the staff's attentiveness was remarkable, and they even held our luggage after checkout. We purchased comfortable pajamas, making it a memorable stay. Thank you for your hospitality. Above all, I am always healed by the warm hospitality of the staff. I am grateful for the unexpected kindness this time as well. Thank you for cleaning the car thoroughly despite the severe cold.     Excellent hospitality

    Beautiful views overlooking Lake Suwa, relaxing onsen, creative and delicious cuisine, and heartfelt hospitality made for a wonderful time. It was perhaps the best Stays experience I've ever had, providing such a sense of satisfaction. We were also moved by the thoughtful consideration given to my mother, who has several food allergies, allowing us to enjoy the meal together. It is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

    It was a good Hotel!

    I stayed for two nights with my elderly mother who uses an assisted wheelchair. From the pick-up at Suwa Station to the send-off at Suwa Station on the final day's check-out, we received meticulous, kind, and courteous service, for which we are grateful. It was our first long trip using a wheelchair and the JR Azusa train, and I was worried, but thanks to the staff, I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. My mother was pleased with everything, including the room and the quality of the Onsen water, and she expressed a desire to visit again, so I believe we will be in your care once more. When that time comes, please take care of us again. The dinner was very courteous, but it seemed to be too much for the elderly (I ended up eating it because it would be a waste to leave it... I was quite full), so I thought it would be nice if there was a smaller plan.

    A cute white Hotel

    It was a cute Western-style hotel located with a panoramic view of Lake Suwa. It was my first time seeing Lake Suwa, and I enjoyed watching people walking and running in the crisp morning air, as well as the beautiful sight of the lake shining in the morning. The area around Lake Suwa is surrounded by mountains, giving it a sacred feeling of being isolated from the outside world, which was very nice. The room was charming with a white theme, and all the chairs were white, round, fluffy, and perfect. Being a new hotel, it was impeccably clean. The Onsen was private, with all rooms having their own source-fed Onsen, and there was no large public bath, making it feel very private and exclusive. I appreciated being able to enjoy a variety of drinks in the lounge, which might be limited to certain rooms, especially since there is only one convenience store nearby. The dining area was semi-private with soundproofing measures, making it a very nice place. All the furnishings were cute, especially the curtains. The soundproofing was also a great plus. The meals were realistically portioned for both breakfast and dinner, and each dish was very delicious, making the meals the most satisfying part. The stewed beef was particularly tasty. (I don't like Ryokan that serve overwhelming portions, so I appreciated the realistic portions with high quality.) Additionally, I felt reassured seeing many women around. One minor issue: Some people had communicated in writing that they were not fond of seafood. The day before, we received a call asking about shellfish and broth. While it's true that broth doesn't necessarily contain seafood, and I apologize for not mentioning it, shellfish are considered seafood. Also, receiving a call without knowing the purpose can be unsettling, and we had to return the call despite being busy. I would have preferred if the points of confirmation were clearly stated in a voicemail.

    We visited to celebrate my husband's birthday. Being a small Hotel, the staff's attention to detail was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals and the bath. We hope to visit again soon.

    A relaxing Hotel on the shores of Lake Suwa

    It was our first time using this Onsen Stays (Hotel), and it left a better impression than expected. During late autumn, the view of the lakeside from our corner room on the second floor was excellent. However, we used the bath with the shutters closed. The atmosphere and numerous exhibits inside the Hotel, along with the spaciousness of the room, made us feel relaxed. The meals were creatively prepared, and including the service, we enjoyed them both pleasantly and deliciously. The lakeside park was right across the road, so we also enjoyed a stroll. If we were to be extravagant, there would be no end, but since there are few rooms, the impression might vary slightly depending on the guests staying. Personally, it was a Hotel with a good impression, and I hope to use it again if possible.

    Feel free to relax and want to stay again.

    Third stay, inconvenient that meals cannot be taken in the Property's attire. Even though there is an Onsen in the Room, you still have to change clothes after bathing to have a meal. The Onsen is hot and difficult to adjust, but the meals are delicious, and the Room is not too small, just right. The car wash service allows for a pleasant morning departure, and parking is easy. I want to enjoy choosing from various Rooms.

    Among the various Stays I have used, this is one of the few I would like to repeat. The Room is calming, and the Onsen is excellent. Having a delicious meal while talking face-to-face with the chef is a very luxurious time. The staff are also very kind, and I can spend a very relaxing time. If I may say one thing this time, I wrote in the comments at the time of Reservation that "the stay is for my husband's birthday on the day of stay," but there was no particular reaction about it during the stay, so if you had said a word to my husband, he might have been even more delighted with the surprise. ...That being said, I am very satisfied. Thank you very much for taking care of us again this time.

    I was almost satisfied, but it was unfortunate that the floor staff during meal times were not well-trained. It's a minor issue, but during breakfast, they brought the main dish, rice, and miso soup while I was still eating the appetizer, so I expressed my dissatisfaction. Then, when they brought the main dish next, they placed the rice and miso soup in front, and had to place the main dish further away, so I ended up rearranging the positions of all the plates, rice bowl, and miso soup bowl. It was disappointing service, unbefitting of a luxury hotel. A good service was when they noticed my car was a little dirty and offered to wash it by hand. I appreciated this.

    I was able to spend a luxurious time with a calm elegance. The detailed explanation of the dishes allowed me to enjoy the taste in a rich mood. The free drinks were also plentiful, and I enjoyed them deliciously after indulging in the Onsen. The amenities were luxurious and pleasant to use. Additionally, I visited the "Kiku no Ma" and "Geihinkan," which evoke the history of a distinguished family, and reflected on the prosperity of the Katakura family. I took a walk in the lakeside park early in the morning and had conversations with the locals, creating lasting memories. I would like to visit again.

    A hotel where you can relax

    We stayed in two rooms for a family of five. The spacious rooms allowed us to relax and unwind. All the staff were kind and it was a healing experience. The bed mattress and pillows were very good, so I was able to sleep soundly and didn't have any body aches when I woke up for the first time in a while. The hot spring in the room was also pleasant. I would be happier if the price could be a little more affordable. Nevertheless, thank you for taking care of us. Thank you very much.

    You can spend time quietly.

    Although it faces a busy road, the room is quiet. You can't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms or the hallway, so you can stay comfortably. I was disappointed that there was no large public bath, but I was told that I could enter the hot spring facility Katakurakan in the adjacent building for free. They even provided footwear and a bag to put towels in, so I went there easily as if taking a walk. It is recommended for those who like a retro atmosphere. The meals are not rigid Western or Japanese cuisine, but are sprinkled with various elements that keep you from getting bored. The dishes were served at perfect timing, and I was impressed by the staff's attentiveness. I was also pleased that the car was sparkling clean when I departed.
