    Family Trip

    We stayed with our grandchildren and our daughter and her husband—8 people in total—in 2 Rooms. There was a festival event, and the kids were thrilled. We were also impressed by the staff’s warm and kind hospitality. We received lots of prizes. The dried horse mackerel at breakfast was outstanding—we were truly impressed. Dinner was delicious across the board, but it felt like the portions might be a bit small for men. The Room with a sauna was very comfortable, and being able to use the sauna anytime felt wonderfully luxurious. In the twin Room, however, the sink was inside the unit bath, which made washing hands after using the toilet inconvenient. Although there was an open-air bath, there wasn’t a place to wash up, so we didn’t really feel like using it. The public bath was smaller than expected, but the water was excellent and left our skin feeling smooth—just what you’d expect from Atami hot springs. Overall, we were very satisfied and would love to visit again. Next time, we’ll choose a Room with a sauna! Thank you very much!

    I was able to relax and take it easy!

    We stayed for one night starting on 7/29! It was just my son and me, and right after we arrived there were kid-friendly activities prepared—shaved ice and stencil-cutting—so we really enjoyed them together. After that we moved to our Room, and both of us were impressed by how spacious and clean it was. We didn’t use the Onsen in the Room, but the semi-private open-air bath felt almost like having it to ourselves, so I ended up going in three times during our stay (lol). After arriving, we took our time relaxing while visiting the different lounges. Dinner had slightly different menus for adults and children, but they were mostly the same, which made my son very happy. All drinks in the Room were included in the price as well, so we enjoyed a relaxed evening drink together with the provided beer and juice. Breakfast had an amazing variety of sides to go with rice—I could have eaten endless bowls. It was also great that refills of miso soup were available. Since it’s located up in the mountains, the view is incredible. This was our last day after traveling around various Hotels, and we had such a wonderful time that I genuinely felt sad to leave. The staff were also exceptionally polite and attentive—truly excellent service. Next time I’d like to come back with my wife.

    We stayed for 2 nigh...

    We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and the Room and amenities were excellent. We could also enjoy the Onsen and sauna in the Room, and there was an area to relax with a table tennis table, darts, and sofas, so we had a great time. The rooftop Onsen would have been perfect if we could see outside, but it was a bit disappointing because of the sunlight. Breakfast was delicious with rice cooked in a clay pot and seafood, but having grilled fish every morning made our child get a little tired of it. The bed in the Room was Simmons and very comfortable. The parking lot assigns a designated spot for each Room, so even when going out, we didn’t need to look for a space each time, which was great. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip. Thank you very much.

    It was an excellent accommodation for a relaxing stay indoors.

    We chose to stay here because we were drawn to in-Room dining and the in-Room bath. First, the Room was very spacious, and we could see the sea of Atami from the window. It can be hard to fully relax on tatami as my legs sometimes go numb, but there was a dining table by the window, so we were able to enjoy our meals and unwind comfortably. The in-Room bath was also wonderful—soaking in the hinoki bath while looking out through the screened window allowed us to take a long, relaxing soak. It was the perfect weekend. The drinks provided in the Room were delicious as well. We have visited many Onsen Ryokan, and both my husband and I felt this is an Accommodation we definitely want to return to again.

    I’m glad I chose this place for a special occasion.

    We stayed to celebrate my companion’s birthday. The Room amenities, meals, and service were all beyond our expectations. We requested Room decorations, and the pre-arrival communication was handled very courteously and attentively. We felt thoughtful attention to detail in every aspect, and the view from the Accommodation was even more breathtaking than we imagined. We are truly glad we chose Ishinoya Atami for such an important day. Thank you very much.

    An Accommodation for the Right Season and the Right People

    Although I had seen some Reviews beforehand mentioning the meals, I honestly found the food delicious. However, perhaps because it was July and the property is surrounded by nature, there were a lot of insects, including pests, so you need to be prepared for that. During my stay, I never opened the Room window even once, but insects still appeared from who knows where. Even after repeatedly using the insect spray provided in the Room to get rid of them, they kept coming back, which left me constantly uneasy and made it hard to sleep at night. As for service, the overall impression is quite casual. In a good way, staff are friendly and approachable; in a bad way, I felt the service quality did not match the price. The staff member who served us showed warm consideration and provided very polite service. On the other hand, staff members—those greeting guests at the entrance, at reception, and waiting in the dining area—were chatting among themselves at various times and places. With all due respect, it made me feel there may be other things they should pay more attention to or work on.

    Wonderful Hotel

    I made a Reservation two days in advance and visited. I was traveling solo, but I thoroughly enjoyed the private Onsen, private sauna, and private dining. The staff’s warm hospitality was wonderful, and I would love to return.

    I’m satisfied!

    We stayed as a family. The Facility, Room, and bath were all clean, and we were very satisfied with the excellent attention to detail in the services. Our check-in was later than planned, but thank you to the staff for their courteous assistance. We would definitely stay again!

    Family-friendly Accommodation

    We visited with a child who will soon turn two and a 3-month-old baby. The Room was equipped with a baby crib, and at the dining area we were provided with a private room, a carrycot for the baby, and a kids’ chair, which made our stay extremely comfortable. Our older child has allergies, but they prepared allergen-free kids’ plates for both breakfast and dinner, and we were very satisfied. We were also impressed by the outstanding hospitality of the staff member in charge of our meals. As our children are still in diapers, we couldn’t use the public bath, but since there is an Onsen in the Room, we enjoyed that instead. It’s also close to Atami Station, with beautiful views of both the sea and the mountains—an Accommodation we’d love to return to again and again!

    It was truly relaxing. Thank you.

    Although the weather was poor and we couldn’t enjoy the scenery we had hoped for, we felt thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property and never got bored, so we were able to enjoy our short getaway. My wife suggested that we’d like to come again when we have time. Next time, darts and table tennis too. Everyone was pleasant, and we’re very grateful. The variety of food was great, the baths were small but nice, and the karaoke was great as well. Thank you very much.

    It was the best accommodation.

    I’ve stayed at many Hotels, and this was one of the best among them. This time, I was looking for a Hotel with a sauna, and a Room that also had a cold plunge bath and an open-air bath—and this Hotel met all of those requirements. We stayed in a suite Room, and the entire floor felt like a private space. It had a wonderful atmosphere, was very clean, and felt elegant throughout. We traveled with our 1-year-old child, and they provided bed guards and a baby chair. The dining area was also a private room, so we could eat with peace of mind. During dinner our child fell asleep, but they kindly prepared a bed for us and adjusted the serving pace to be faster—such thoughtful service. At first the bed guard was installed on only one side, but when we asked, they responded immediately and installed it on three sides. As for the large public bath, it is an open-air bath with three types: cold water, hot water, and lukewarm water—compact in size. You can enjoy ocean views while soaking. Since there aren’t many different baths, it may feel limited if you prioritize the public bath experience above all else; however, for us the sauna was the main focus and we also had an open-air bath in our Room, so it wasn’t an issue at all. The public bath was clean as well, so we were very satisfied. The staff service was excellent—I truly felt this is an outstanding Hotel—and my companion said it was the best Hotel they have ever stayed at too. We would love to stay again.

    In every aspect.

    I stayed here with my sister. Everything was perfect, just as expected. The staff are well trained and consistently kind and attentive. The meals were more than we could finish, but they were very delicious. The Onsen felt wonderful for my body, and next time I visit, I’d like to make a Reservation for a Room with amenities.

    The view is amazing!

    The location on a hill offered great ocean views. For the size of the Room, the outdoor bath was small and could only fit one person at a time. A cypress or stone bath would feel more atmospheric than a white bathtub. The entrance and lobby were narrow and felt underwhelming as the face of the Hotel. It did not feel worth the price (just under 70,000 yen per person).

    The Onsen in our Room was outstanding. We had a wonderful time as a family.

    Every dish was delicious, and I truly looked forward to each meal during my stay. I also really appreciated that all drinks were available free of charge. In front of the large public bath, there were vegetable juice, ice cream, and a variety of drinks ready for guests to enjoy freely after bathing. The in-room refrigerator was also well stocked with beer, water, tea, and soda—plus even complimentary citrus juice that is also sold as a souvenir. Being able to relax without hesitation was a wonderful highlight. Most impressive of all was the private Onsen in the guest room. I could fill the bath myself and adjust the temperature as I liked, so I enjoyed it at my preferred timing and warmth. Soaking in the Onsen at leisure without worrying about anyone else was exceptional. It was also very helpful that they provided a baby crib free of charge—especially when traveling with a small child. This is a wonderful Accommodation with thoughtful attention to detail throughout, and one I would love to visit again.

    The view is spectacular.

    We stayed on the day of the fireworks festival. The Room was very spacious, and we had a spectacular view of Sagami Bay from the window. Drinks were available everywhere—in the Room refrigerator, in the bath area, and in the lounge—which was great. The meals were also delicious, and since we dined in a private room, we could enjoy them at a relaxed pace. We stayed in a Room where you can see the fireworks, but it felt like part of the view was slightly blocked by a building, so we watched from the terrace instead. The fireworks were perfectly visible from the terrace, which was wonderful. We also appreciated being able to relax without much interaction with other guests.

    This was my second stay, and it was amazing again!

    We relaxed in a spacious Room that was more than enough for two people. It was truly perfect for a mother-and-daughter trip, and both the bath and the meals were excellent. The service was very courteous, and we are grateful. Thank you very much!

    The sunset and sunrise over the sea below are beautiful.

    The ocean view from the Room was beautiful. The meal was a kaiseki course. A new staff member who had been with the company for exactly one month took care of us. Though nervous, they sincerely explained each dish, and their dedication really came through. Everyone at the front desk was also very courteous, making this a truly memorable Accommodation. Finally, having the private bath all to myself was a wonderful memory.

    The bed is too firm.

    I stayed in a Junior Suite. A mattress was laid out on what seemed like a wooden floor area, but it was so firm that I couldn’t sleep at all. The food was neither particularly good nor bad, and there wasn’t anything that stood out as memorable afterward. I was also surprised to see training equipment placed in the elevator hall. Personally, I wouldn’t stay again. For the same price, it might be better to stay at another Hotel.

    It exceeded my expectations!

    I stayed here after a business trip and may have treated myself a little too much! The Room size, the view, the meals, the in-Room sauna, and the Onsen were all wonderful. The staff service was excellent, and I especially appreciated the attentive woman who took care of us at dinner. Next time, I’d like to stay with my family during the fireworks season!

    It was a relaxing trip that helped us unwind and recover from our fatigue.

    We stayed for one night over the weekend. It was an Accommodation with stunning views just as shown on the Reservation site, and everything from check-in at the front desk to being shown to our Room went smoothly. Since my wife is pregnant, we informed them in advance, and we really appreciated that they adjusted part of the course meal for us. The food was delicious, the Room was spacious, and the baths were well equipped, making it a great trip. The large public bath was a bit small, but the in-house Facility such as table tennis and darts was well stocked, which was great. The Hotel staff were kind and treated our child warmly as well—we’re very grateful. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

    The view from the Room is amazing.

    We stayed one night in the Sauna & Open-Air Bath Suite TAN -Awa- (28th floor). ・Shuttle Service The staff who provided the Shuttle Service were very polite, and the driving was also very careful. However, since the route goes along mountain roads, I recommend bringing motion sickness medicine if you’re prone to getting carsick. There are many slopes and curves. ・Room The Room was very clean, and above all, the open-air bath with a view of the sea in Atami was amazing. You can adjust the bath temperature as well, and we were very satisfied. There was also a wide variety of complimentary drinks, which we enjoyed. ・Facility There were activities such as a limited-time stamp rally, various lounges, and table tennis, so we could enjoy our stay even with children. Each lounge had its own drinks available, and we could relax at our leisure. They also had green tea, which gave us a nice taste of Shizuoka. The 28th-floor area also had solid security measures in place, which made us feel safe (a room key is required to unlock the automatic doors). The hallway felt a bit chilly because the air conditioning was turned off, so it would be nice if it could be switched on at least around dinner time in the evening. ・Dining Due to circumstances we couldn’t finish everything, but everything we tried was delicious. They were very considerate—for example, serving dishes early so our child wouldn’t get bored. The meal for our elementary-school-aged child was slightly different from the adults’, with some items changed to kid-friendly options. ・Overall When our child became unwell during our stay, they responded flexibly and kindly—we were truly glad we chose this Accommodation. We were very satisfied with both the Onsen in our Room and the view. Overall, it felt like a Facility full of hospitality. We’re already looking forward to staying again.

    I was disappointed, especially given the high price of the accommodation.

    We stayed here to celebrate his birthday, an important anniversary. We paid around JPY 95,000—certainly not a cheap amount—and arrived expecting a special experience, but honestly it turned into a very disappointing stay. First, we had made a Reservation for the Shuttle Service to pick us up at Atami Station at 4:00 PM, but the car did not arrive even after the scheduled time. We only received an explanation after we contacted you ourselves: “Please wait because the station area is crowded.” We were then told it would take even longer, leaving us waiting in the cold. Since it was a birthday trip and we could not keep waiting, we took a taxi to the Accommodation. You covered the taxi fare, but there should have been prior notice and proper time management in the first place. It is also concerning that no explanation was provided unless we reached out. Next, regarding the Room decoration (JPY 5,000), it did not feel worth the price and seemed very minimal. In addition, a gift that we had asked you to place in advance when entering the Room together was not there. When we asked about it, we were told “we forgot to put it in.” Since you said it had already arrived, this means no final check was done. Once a surprise is ruined, it cannot be restored. All of our preparation for this important day collapsed in an instant. While our belongings were being checked on the spot, I ended up crying out of frustration and sadness. That is how much we had been looking forward to it. Furthermore, there was hair left in the indoor bath tub area, which raised concerns about cleanliness as well. Given that this is a high-priced Accommodation where hygiene should be thoroughly managed, this was especially disappointing. The Room itself and the food were good; however basic service checks and operational execution were lacking overall, which felt like such a waste. Because this was for a special anniversary occasion, I strongly hope for careful attention to detail and responsible handling throughout. To ensure no one else has the same experience in future stays here as well , please improve Shuttle Service management , surprise arrangements ,and cleaning checks .

    A warm and welcoming Accommodation with exceptional hospitality

    We visited for a family trip. Traveling with small children can be challenging, and we had various concerns, but thanks to all the staff, we were able to relax and truly enjoy our stay. The Facility was clean, and since the Room also has an Onsen, we could unwind comfortably in the Room even with our child. Above all, the service during meals was outstanding. They prepared cutlery and rice for our child and even helped entertain them—we are truly grateful for all their thoughtful care. And the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return.

    A Moment to Feel Atami’s Town and Sea

    Relax at the café outside the entrance while gazing out at the sea. You can also enjoy ocean views from the large public bath. The Hotel is visible from Atami Castle, and you can take in magnificent scenery from the Hotel as well. The morning sun was pleasant, and I was able to spend a calm, unhurried time. I was satisfied with the meals too.

    We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. Since we both love saunas and baths, we chose a Room with both. We were very satisfied with the view from the bath, the sauna temperature, and being able to do löyly. The service was polite, and we were both extremely happy with our stay. We would love to stay again.

    The sunrise from the Onsen was absolutely stunning. The moment the sun rises from the sea is truly breathtaking. The entire facility was clean and comfortable, making our stay very pleasant. Thank you!
