    Being able to check in at 2:00 PM was very convenient. The hotel is not far from the station, and both the bathroom and the room were spacious enough for a comfortable stay.

    As always, this is a...

    As always, this is a relaxing Hotel. This time, I noticed the car noise for the first time. The orange juice at breakfast is my favorite.

    An excellent Hotel with everything you need

    We stayed in two rooms with my parents for a sumo viewing trip. I have stayed here before, and the hotel is perfectly located right in front of Ryogoku Kokugikan, offering excellent access. No matter how many times I stay, it is always comfortable and cozy. The rooms were very clean and tidy as always. The atmosphere was relaxing, and everything we needed was conveniently placed, making our stay extremely comfortable. The staff seemed to be mostly young but were very polite and provided pleasant service that left a positive impression. The meals were exceptional. Both the dinner course and breakfast accommodated my food preferences while being incredibly delicious. It was 120% satisfaction! The dinner course had a variety of dishes, each with exquisite flavors, culminating in a delightful dessert that made me feel truly happy through food after a long time. Breakfast allowed us to choose the main dish while enjoying salads, fruits, soups, bread, yogurt with granola or side dishes from the buffet—all handmade with high quality! As Diamond members, we also enjoyed complimentary coffee and chocolates as well as drinks at the lounge on the 9th floor while admiring Tokyo Skytree at night—a truly soothing experience. As someone who loves traveling and has stayed at various hotels recently, it’s rare to find one where all three aspects—room quality, staff service level & dining—are so outstandingly balanced like this hotel offers; hence overall satisfaction remains exceptionally high here! It’s evident how hard-working younger employees contribute towards maintaining such standards which deserves appreciation indeed! However only downside during this visit would be being assigned lower-floor-level accommodations despite requesting higher floors away from highway noise when booking early ahead-of-time (5th floor instead). Unfortunately due-to proximity near expressway outside window curtains open revealed traffic sounds disturbing sleep overnight compared prior stays overlooking solely Ryogoku Kokugikan views opposite direction quieter settings preferred previously chosen reservations earlier occasions instead trying new room type combining both Skytree alongside arena scenery simultaneously perhaps overly ambitious decision-making attempt regrettably backfired slightly affecting restfulness aspect negatively somewhat overall still wonderful experience nonetheless hoping return future opportunities again soon thank-you much continued hospitality efforts appreciated greatly forward-looking next visits warmly anticipated regards

    I stayed here for a ...

    I stayed here for a sumo wrestling event. The location is right in front of the Kokugikan, allowing me to enjoy different views of it both at night and in the morning, which made me very happy. Being along the Sumida River, I could also take pleasant walks—such a great location. The amenities and services were all excellent. I will definitely stay here again next time!

    Cost-effective Hotel

    Stayed in a corner room on the fourth floor with children. Having enjoyed the Yokohama Yamashita branch, we decided to stay here as well. The location is incredibly unique—close to the station, in front of the sumo arena, and adjacent to Sumida River. The staff were very friendly towards children, which was great. Like Yamashita, this hotel also has a rooftop space and offers well-equipped shared areas for a relatively small accommodation. It felt like it was somewhere between a business hotel and a luxury hotel in terms of grade. Our room faced the highway but had double-glazed windows, so it was completely quiet, allowing us to relax while enjoying views of Tokyo Skytree. Naturally, being newly built, everything was spotless. If I had to point out something minor, I’d say that while the wet area is spacious, it makes the main living space feel slightly smaller. Breakfast was semi-order style; their chanko hot pot was deliciously comforting! However, there weren’t many buffet options available. Late check-out was possible here too at an incredibly reasonable price—it actually surprised me when I saw how affordable it was! Definitely worth taking advantage of this option. After breakfast we visited Asakusa and then spent some relaxing time back in our room. With its relatively reasonable pricing compared to other accommodations nearby, this place is highly recommended for those who want an alternative to business hotels but still wish to keep expenses low while having a comfortable base for sightseeing!

    Maybe I expected too much.

    The reviews were very good, so my expectations were high, but I feel like I chose the wrong room. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, but the room and interior of the hotel felt dark. Considering other hotels were expensive during the year-end period, I think the cost performance was good.

    It was a pleasant Hotel.

    The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was plentiful. The staff provided attentive service, which was greatly appreciated. Please note that cleansing products, face wash, toner, and lotion are not provided as amenities, so you will need to bring your own.

    Highly recommended.

    Stayed for the first time this New Year. We stayed in a room for three people, and even with three beds, there was plenty of space and it was very comfortable. The bathroom with a washing area had a larger-than-average bathtub. The amenities were well-stocked, which was great. I forgot my cleansing product, but when I asked at the front desk, they promptly delivered a skincare set to me. The night view from the exclusive lounge on the top floor along Sumida River was stunning! Of course, you can also see Tokyo Skytree. Would definitely love to stay again!

    Had a wonderful Christmas stay.

    I made a reservation the day before Christmas and stayed on Christmas Day. The staff provided kind service from check-in to use, and I had no particular complaints. I forgot something at the accommodation, but they kindly sent it to me the next day with postage paid in advance, showcasing their excellent responsiveness.

    I would like to use it again.

    Conveniently located near the station along the Sumida River with a view of Tokyo Skytree, it was excellent. The Facility is new, and the spacious bath made for a comfortable stay. Aside from being slightly bothered by the noise from the highway, I was satisfied overall. I would like to use it again if I have the chance.

    Highly recommended.

    I had always wanted to stay here, and since I had plans near Korakuen, I made a Reservation. The Hotel exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness and beautiful atmosphere, and all the staff were incredibly polite, making my stay truly pleasant! The breakfast was as delicious as its reputation suggests, but for someone with a small appetite like me, it was a bit too much... For men who want to eat heartily in the morning, I highly recommend choosing the "Chanko" option. I would love to make another Reservation at this Hotel when I visit Tokyo again!

    Stayed at the accommodation after a long time.

    We enjoyed a reasonably priced stay for the 5th anniversary. For dinner, we had à la carte with friends and tried the fish & chips, which was hearty and delicious. The location along the Sumida River was also excellent. For breakfast, I initially thought French toast was the only option, but they offered "chanko" as well. It was warm, satisfying, and paired well with rice.

    Comfortable Hotel

    This was my first time staying here. I arrived at night and was a bit confused at the entrance, but the accommodation was very clean, the room was tidy, and it felt very comfortable. The staff were all very kind and pleasant, making my stay enjoyable. The view from the top floor overlooking the river was exceptional. This is a hotel I would like to make my regular accommodation.

    This was a long stay, but I was able to relax in a clean and refreshing space. The staff are very kind, making it a great Hotel. The breakfast is also delicious.

    Everything about the environment and service is excellent.

    I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days due to an event in Ryogoku. The room was not only clean but also the quick and flexible response of the front desk staff and the overall atmosphere were excellent. It was a wonderful environment in every aspect. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I have any business nearby.

    The Hotel was conveniently located!

    I chose this Hotel because I wanted to take my time and enjoy the area around it. Access to various places was relatively smooth. The walk along the Sumida River was enjoyable. However, I was disappointed with the Hotel's breakfast. The food was delicious, but I wish I could have taken my time more. I couldn't get much coffee refills either... I wanted to leisurely enjoy the view, but the rushed atmosphere was unfortunate.

    Close to Ryogoku Sta...

    Close to Ryogoku Station and located along the Sumida River, the view was wonderful! I needed to use a computer, so I wish there had been a desk. Breakfast was relaxing and delicious. The orange juice was fresh! I’d like to visit the lounge next time, so I look forward to staying again.

    It's been a while si...

    It's been a while since my last stay. The modern interior and smart, comfortable service have remained consistent since the opening. The Room was spotless and well-maintained. While the size typically combines the bath and toilet, the efficient layout provides a spacious washroom and even includes a bath with a washing area. There’s ample space for luggage, making for a stress-free stay. Breakfast had temporarily declined during COVID-19 but now feels improved in variety and taste for both main dishes and buffet options. However, I would prefer if honey (or maple syrup?) for French toast were served separately so sweetness can be adjusted to personal preference. The proximity to JR Ryogoku Station, just minutes away, is another big plus. A convenient, stylish Hotel with modern luxury appeal!

    The bathroom with a washing area and a separate toilet was very convenient. It would have been nice to have a rotating hair dryer if possible.

    A Hotel You’ll Want to Visit Again

    The front desk and restaurant staff, mostly young and refreshing, provided excellent and pleasant service that made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast we were looking forward to was not the typical buffet with numerous options but rather a selection of a main dish accompanied by several side dishes and desserts. The quality of the food was outstanding, leaving a lasting impression as an exceptionally delicious breakfast. With accommodation prices rising due to inbound tourism, opportunities to stay have decreased; however, I would love to visit again when the prices are as reasonable as they were this time.

    A quiet Hotel close to the station

    I stayed at the accommodation to watch sumo wrestling. The room overlooked the Kokugikan, and the sound of the drum tower resonated, creating a wonderful hotel with an Edo-era atmosphere. At the breakfast restaurant, most guests were from overseas, but everyone had good manners, making it a pleasant experience. The fresh orange juice was excellent, and the French toast was also delicious.

    Enjoy Ryogoku... However...

    This was my first time using this accommodation. The facility was clean, conveniently located just a short walk from the station, and the front desk staff provided excellent and refined service. In addition to the hotel stay, I had made a reservation at "Anchor," a restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. As an IKYU special benefit, they offered sparkling wine or non-alcoholic drinks. The riverside atmosphere was pleasant, and apart from us, all other guests were international travelers, making it feel as though we were abroad. There is a rooftop terrace accessible only to guests, offering an excellent view where we could clearly see Tokyo Skytree. However, one disappointing aspect was that upon entering the room, I noticed something near the foot of the bed on the right side—a small red cap from cosmetics had fallen there along with two small stones that seemed to have come off either nails or a bag scattered nearby. Additionally—and this surprised me as it has never happened in any other hotels I've stayed at—one of two cotton and swab sets provided in our room had already been opened with only cotton left inside. Since it was just my 6-year-old son and me staying that day and he couldn’t have reached or touched these items himself, it felt quite unsettling. I refrained from reporting this to avoid unnecessary trouble with reception but did take photos for reference. Other than these issues, both service quality (soft aspects) and facilities (hard aspects) were highly satisfactory overall!

    I love HULIC.

    At check-in, I was delighted to receive chocolates, coffee tickets for the 9th-floor lounge, and wine tickets as an IKYU Diamond Member. However, it was disappointing that the lounge staff placed iced coffee on the table without a word and without any syrup or cream. The night breeze was pleasant, making me want to sit on the sofa for hours or even fall asleep. Around midnight, I could hear loud conversations from the neighboring room; after calling the front desk, they promptly addressed it and it became quiet. Still, it's unfortunate that voices can be heard through what seems to be thin walls. I appreciated being allowed to extend my stay until noon when I made a lunch reservation at the 2nd-floor restaurant for the next day. The restaurant reserved a riverside seat for us and showed great attention to detail by ensuring carry-on cases were lifted rather than dragged over tactile paving designed for visually impaired guests. The housekeeping staff member (a foreigner) greeted us cheerfully in the hallway with a smile, and our room was clean as well. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. However, there seemed to be many foreign guests recently; aside from us, we only encountered foreigners in hallways or elevators. Unfortunately, some of them wore overpowering perfume and were noisy at times—this was bothersome.

    Authentic Double Stay

    I stayed at this Hotel for the first time when visiting Ryogoku to watch sumo wrestling! The room was spacious enough, and with the Kokugikan right in front, I had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious, and I was happy to find fresh fruits like kiwi. I would love to stay here again.

    A clean and cost-effective Hotel

    Amid the abnormal price hikes of hotels in Tokyo, this was a wonderful hotel offering accommodation at a reasonable price. It is clean, beautiful, and conveniently located near the station. I will definitely stay here again.

    Convenient Hotel

    I used this Hotel again for watching sumo wrestling. It is very convenient as it is located right in front of the Kokugikan. The benefits for Diamond members are also excellent. The bathtub is large, and there is a washing area, making it easy to use. This is a comfortable Hotel that makes me want to stay again.

    The staff, including the front desk, were very attentive and kind. The Room was spacious and clean, providing a relaxing stay. I also visited the lounge on the top floor, where I enjoyed a stunning view of Tokyo with the Skytree right in front of me. It was truly satisfying. I would love to stay here again next time.
