    This is my second stay.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights. As a Diamond member benefit, my first night was upgraded to the Park Corner Suite (unfortunately there was no availability for the second night). Thank you very much. It was a wonderful Room and made for an unforgettable stay. For those considering a Multiple Night Stay: I learned later that if you contact the Hotel in advance, you can change breakfast from Japanese to Western style (it seems to be on the website, but I missed it). The Western breakfast shown in photos also looked delicious, so I would like to request it next time. This Hotel is truly one of a kind—an art Hotel. The view from the TV Tower, the breakfast, the exposed steel framework in the Room, and the hospitality (especially from a female staff member at the breakfast restaurant this time) were all outstanding. Please remain such a wonderful Hotel forever. I will definitely stay again.

    A Memorable Stay

    We stayed with my son, looking forward to the rare experience of staying inside the TV Tower. It was close to Sakae Station and in a convenient location for sightseeing. Having steel beams inside the Room made it feel truly special, and the interior was stylish and cool. A wonderful time began with the welcome drink, and it was also memorable to stroll around the Hotel and enjoy the many artworks displayed throughout. In particular, the experience of guests-only access to the observation floor at night and early in the morning through a secret door was thrilling and unforgettable. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious across the board, and we were able to savor it at a leisurely pace in a restaurant with a great view. I was especially impressed by the rice cooked in a Vermicular pot—I wanted one for myself. Above all, our stay was made truly memorable by everyone’s warm, heartfelt hospitality at this Hotel. Thank you for such a wonderful time. We would love to stay again.

    It was a great Hotel that offered an exciting experience.

    I stayed here on a friend’s recommendation. Since it was a same-day Reservation and slightly discounted, I chose the Suite Room. The entire Hotel is filled with art, and after arrival the staff kindly explained the Hotel and the Room. Their thorough guidance really impressed me. After that, we were served tea and sweets, and I was amazed by both the generous portions and the carefully curated selection—everything was delicious. Although the Hotel isn’t on a very high floor, it faces a park with an open view, so the scenery was wonderful. The Room also had a stylish atmosphere, and I was able to relax comfortably. The amenities and complimentary drinks were excellent as well. In addition, during certain evening and morning hours, guests can access the Mirai Tower observation deck exclusively; if no other guests are there, it feels like having it all to yourself. With great views and a calm ambiance, I was extremely satisfied. Also, since the elevator to the observation deck is located in an unexpected place, it makes for an exciting experience. I’ll leave the details for you to discover during your stay. This time I booked a Plan with breakfast included—and choosing breakfast was absolutely the right decision. The menu was thoughtfully prepared and tasted fantastic. With great views as well, I couldn’t have been happier. All of the Hotel staff were kind and approachable, and it left a strong impression how confidently they provided service with pride in their Hotel. Overall, it exceeded expectations for the price level, and if you come to Nagoya I highly recommend staying at this Hotel without hesitation. I would love to stay again myself.”

    Hospitality spirit

    We stayed here to celebrate an anniversary. As it was our first visit, we weren’t sure where the entrance was, but a Hotel staff member welcomed us in front of the TV building, so we were able to check in without getting lost. The welcome drink and the Room amenities were excellent, and we’re truly glad we chose this Hotel. Above all, we were deeply impressed by the warm hospitality shown by every staff member. We asked the Hotel to prepare a bouquet, and it was beautifully arranged—my partner loved it. The Hotel staff also suggested many ideas for surprise touches. It’s a Hotel we would definitely like to use again for another special occasion.

    I was able to refresh and recharge.

    I learned that a Hotel had opened inside the former TV tower, and stayed there out of curiosity about how it was designed. The Rooms are arranged without compromising the beauty of this Important Cultural Property, and the Facility is filled with playful touches throughout—I was truly impressed by the designer’s ideas. I was also deeply moved to see that some Rooms feature artwork painted directly on the walls by one of Japan’s leading artists. I was kindly offered an available L13 Room and chose to upgrade. From the Room, I could look out over the northern side of Hisaya-odori Park and fully enjoy the wonderful view. When the staff learned that I’m interested in architecture, they explained the interior design and structure of the Facility in a clear and easy-to-understand way. I also appreciated that everyone remembered my name when assisting me. Breakfast was excellent—I enjoyed both the tableware and the dishes, and the service from the staff was attentive. I was also happy that they took time to explain details about the restaurant’s décor after my meal. Grisine, which I had visited back when it was in Yagoto, has relocated here and is now operating at this location. It’s a Hotel I would love to stay at again. Thank you very much to all of your staff.

    Staying overnight in a TV tower designated as an Important Cultural Property was a truly special experience you can’t find anywhere else. Inside the Room, the exposed steel framework let me feel the tower’s presence even while indoors, which was genuinely exciting. Stepping out onto the terrace offered breathtaking views over Hisaya-odori Park, and at night, guests could exclusively access the observation deck to fully enjoy Nagoya’s night scenery. I also appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail in the Facility, furnishings, and amenities. Above all, the staff’s warm hospitality was outstanding; touches like a welcome service featuring tea and sweets pairings were deeply soothing. This Hotel perfectly balances extraordinary luxury with human warmth—I would love to return.

    As a base for exploring Nagoya, it offered a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

    I stayed here while sightseeing in Nagoya. I was really looking forward to it because you can stay inside the iconic TV Tower, a familiar landmark in Nagoya. Not only is the atmosphere—art included—modern and wonderful, but the service and hospitality were also excellent, making my stay comfortable from start to finish. What left the strongest impression was the observation deck that is opened exclusively to guests. Stepping into the dimly lit, quiet deck and having a nighttime view all to yourself as the city’s brightness and bustle gradually soften is a special experience you can only have at this Hotel. The location also makes it easy to explore the city, and I found it a very comfortable Hotel even for a longer stay. When I visit Nagoya again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

    Staying inside Nagoy...

    Staying inside Nagoya’s iconic TV Tower was an experience that far exceeded my expectations. The exposed steel-frame design was also incredibly cool and really conveyed the tower’s history. What impressed me most was breakfast. The rice, carefully cooked in a Vermicular pot, brought out the natural sweetness of the grains, and the tamago kake gohan made with it was simply outstanding. The welcome sweets and tea served on arrival were high quality and instantly melted away my travel fatigue. The ochazuke offered as a late-night snack was also a thoughtful touch that truly warmed my heart. In the guest-only lounge, I enjoyed a luxurious highball made with Chita whisky. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and it was a wonderful stay with attention to detail throughout. This is a Hotel I can confidently recommend to anyone looking to forget everyday life and enjoy something special—I’d love to return again.

    A one-of-a-kind experience: the only place you can stay in a nationally designated Important Cultural Property TV tower.

    A truly rare Hotel in Japan: the first TV tower in The whole country to be designated an Important Cultural Property—and you can actually stay there. I was told I could upgrade for 3,000 yen, so I chose an exposed steel-frame Room where you can really feel the tower’s renovation. Since 5/1 is Lily of the Valley Day, the Room had fresh lily-of-the-valley flowers. After check-in, we enjoyed a welcome pairing of three kinds of tea and sweets in the Room. Everything looked gorgeous and tasted great; sinking into the comfortable sofa instantly melted away my travel fatigue and heightened my excitement. The fridge was stocked with items like Japan’s first luxury beer and a Gamagori mandarin craft chuhai. In the guest-only lounge, sake, wine, Chita whisky, soft drinks, and more are available free-flow. There are also nostalgic Japanese snacks on hand at all times. After 9 p.m., light bites are served as well. That night it was dashi ochazuke featuring mackerel rice balls in a steamer basket—finished by steaming them yourself. After 10 p.m., the observation floor becomes exclusive to overnight guests. When we were shown around, we were surprised to find that the elevator entrance was hidden behind a secret door. Unfortunately it was raining so the view was hazy, but on clear days you can apparently go up even higher to the Sky Floor with drinks from the lounge. To reach breakfast, you go through yet another hidden door! A Japanese set meal made with top-quality ingredients from Aichi and Gifu is served on Mino ware tableware. The “Musubi no Kami” rice from Gifu cooked in a Vermicular pot had beautifully distinct grains with a glossy shine. For tamago kake gohan (egg over rice), they serve Kohaku Farm’s “Tamayura Kohaku,” and you can choose from five types of soy-based sauce. The one from Gifu was especially delicious. The foie gras pudding and lightly blanched sea bream were outstanding as well. It made for an elegant breakfast while looking out over Hisaya-odori. There are plenty of art experiences inside as well. If you get all answers correct in the art hunt activity, you receive a tower papercraft model. The smoking room features an illustration by Yoshitomo Nara. If you complete a survey before checkout, you’ll receive an A4-size tote bag. The base color is gray with three pattern options—I chose one featuring an illustration of the tower blueprints. All Hotel staff were very friendly; they shared recommendations for nearby spots and tips for my next day’s destination. Throughout my stay I felt their thoughtful warmth and hospitality. This is a Hotel I’d love to stay at specifically for the experience itself.

    TV accommodation

    I never imagined I could stay in a TV tower. The staff’s hospitality was excellent. Thank you for upgrading our Room. We had dinner at the restaurant. The dishes were very creative, which was great, but for the final rice course I think it would be better to include a soup, or switch to pasta—something simpler. At a similar restaurant in Tokyo, they finished with pasta. Breakfast was very delicious, especially the eggs. The portion sizes were just right for us. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

    A Memorable Stay

    Conveniently located in the city center, it’s about two stops from Nagoya Station. One of the biggest highlights is being able to stay in a historic building. Artwork by local artists is displayed throughout the Hotel, making it feel like an exciting treasure hunt. From the playful design on the restaurant doors to the unique architectural forms that make use of its origins as a radio tower, it was an experience that’s hard to find elsewhere. In the evening, soft music plays on the observation deck, creating a wonderfully atmospheric time. The welcome drink and late-night snack service were also enjoyable, and breakfast was truly delicious! Including the pleasant hospitality of the staff, the Hotel’s concept is thoughtfully reflected in every detail, making for a highly satisfying stay. It offers more than just Accommodation—I think it’s a memorable Hotel you won’t forget.

    A resort hotel in the heart of the city.

    The location is outstanding—right in Hisaya Odori Park in the heart of Nagoya, surrounded by greenery and a quiet atmosphere. The concierge team was exceptional; the attentive service unique to a small Hotel was wonderful, and they kindly accommodated even our requests with a smile. I am truly grateful. The room was clean and uncluttered, with appealing steel framing, and the displayed art was lovely. The organic amenities felt great to use. The nightwear was comfortable as well, and I slept soundly on the Airweave bed. From the art throughout the Hotel to the night view from the observation deck, there were delightful surprises everywhere, making our stay truly enjoyable. Breakfast featured refined flavors using seasonal local ingredients enhanced with dashi, and we could feel the care put into the tableware—it was absolutely delicious. The only downside was that the stand in the bathroom for placing clothes was small; it would have been easier to use if it were a bit larger. A 12:00 checkout is perfect for a relaxed stay, and although it’s in the city center, it felt like a Resort Hotel—very soothing. I would definitely like to stay again.

    In the postwar reconstruction years, how many times did we look up at that silver tower standing tall in Nagoya’s sky? Meeting for dates by the nearby fountain when we were young—the “TV Tower” was, for Nagoya residents, a constant presence, like a lighthouse for the city. When we heard that the tower had become the world’s first “Important Cultural Property you can stay in,” my spouse and I decided to spend one night there to celebrate her birthday. After checking in, we were shown to a smoking Room. Inside was an original illustration that Yoshitomo Nara had spontaneously drawn during his stay—so striking that even non-smoking guests come just to catch a glimpse of it. The moment we opened the door to our Room, we both cried out without thinking. A powerful steel frame ran diagonally through the center of the space. It was the very “skeleton” supporting the tower we had always seen from outside. When I cautiously touched it with my fingertips, the metal felt cool—yet somehow alive with warmth. A mass of iron that has witnessed this city’s joys and sorrows for nearly seventy years. In my heart, I whispered, “Thank you for all your hard work.” What makes this Hotel truly special isn’t just the novelty of “staying in something old.” There is an invitation reserved only for overnight guests: access to the observation deck at midnight. After day visitors have left, climbing a secret staircase through a hidden door in a bookshelf made us feel like children on an adventure game once again. Holding our complimentary glasses of wine, we stepped onto a silent observation deck with no one else around. The view over Nagoya had transformed into a dazzling sea of lights—far more glamorous than when we were young. Yet when I looked down at the steel beams beneath our feet, they stood as solid and unchanged as ever. “Even if the city changes, this tower and we have grown older together,” my wife murmured softly. That time—leaning close in the darkness and gazing out over those lights—etched itself into our hearts more deeply than any trip before it ever has. The next morning’s breakfast was also exceptional as we looked down on Hisaya-odori Park’s fresh greenery: glossy rice cooked in an earthenware pot and an array of side dishes packed with blessings from local Aichi ingredients. Watching staff carefully explain each dish’s story made us feel proud of the culture this city has nurtured over time. By spending one night together with it, TV Tower came to feel like someone dear—almost like family—watching over us now instead of simply standing there as part of scenery.     The Reviews were great, so I was really looking forward to it—and the stay exceeded my expectations.\n\nAbove all, the friendliness of everyone working there was wonderful, and it made me feel truly relaxed.\n\nNext, the sweets in the Room were unbelievably delicious. I couldn’t believe I got to enjoy Valrhona chocolate!\n\nI also loved the nostalgic Japanese snacks in the lounge. The choice of F ORGANICS amenities was very tasteful as well. Breakfast was excellent, and I’m extremely satisfied.\n\nAs for the art, I’m not very knowledgeable and usually don’t know how best to enjoy it, but because it was set up like a quiz, I could engage with the pieces while having fun—and fully enjoy my time at this Hotel.\n\nEverything was so good that it makes me want to be a little picky, but if I had to say one thing: I’d be happy if you offered more carefully selected drip coffee options—such as coffee from Nagoya.\n\nMy mother, who came with me, was absolutely delighted too and immediately said she’d like to bring someone else next time.\n\nI’ll definitely be back!

    The view from the Room is truly wonderful! Located within Central Park, it was a valuable experience to get away from the hustle and bustle of Sakae. The tea snacks were delicious; I considered buying them, but unfortunately they were not for sale. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the chance.

    I made a Reservation for a hotel stay. Each guest room is decorated with artwork by a different artist, which made me excited to stay again and again. The Hotel’s interior also features surprising touches throughout, creating a one-of-a-kind space you can only experience here.     Perfect for special occasions!! But...

    Staying in Nagoya TV Tower was a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Although it was raining, having the observation deck reserved exclusively for guests was amazing. The staff’s service and the welcome amenities were excellent—truly on par with a first-class Hotel. However, I was disappointed that the anniversary towel decoration I requested as an IKYU option had not been prepared. Aside from that, we had a wonderful day overall.

    A memorable stay with warm hospitality and one-of-a-kind views

    We stayed for one night for my husband’s graduation ceremony. The location was excellent, with plenty to enjoy nearby, including Hisaya-odori Park, Oasis 21, and the HARBS flagship store. Access to public transportation such as trains and buses was also very convenient, making it easy to get around. Thanks to the IKYU Diamond benefits, we were upgraded to the Park Corner Suite (L10). The night view from the Room was stunning and made our stay feel truly special. It was also a great perk that guests have exclusive hours to visit the observatory. You can reach it via a direct elevator without ever going outside the Hotel, which was very convenient—and the hidden-door gimmick in the elevator was exciting. We also enjoyed the complimentary drinks in the in-room refrigerator (which also seemed to be a Diamond member benefit). In the lounge, we had red and white wine, Chita whisky, nostalgic Japanese snacks, and Nagoya sweets (such as Shiruko Sand). The welcome sweets and Japanese tea pairing served in our Room were wonderful. In particular, the rose-scented hojicha was delicious—I would be happy if Japanese tea were also available in the lounge. The Room felt stylish throughout, with art displayed inside and automatic curtains. When I mentioned at check-in that we were staying for my husband’s graduation ceremony, they surprised us with a celebratory plate at breakfast. I was truly touched by this unexpected kindness. All staff members were consistently courteous as well, and we had a very comfortable stay throughout. Thank you very much. Being able to stay in a Registered Tangible Cultural Property was a rare experience; combined with this one-of-a-kind location and heartfelt hospitality, it became an unforgettable trip. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Nagoya.

    Ever since reading *Ohitorisama Hotel*, I had hoped to stay here someday. This was the Accommodation for a mother-and-daughter trip, and it was the first time I’ve ever stayed somewhere that felt so deeply fulfilling. More than the rare experience of staying in Nagoya’s iconic TV Tower—a designated cultural property—I believe it was thanks to the perfectly balanced service and hospitality, with nothing lacking and nothing excessive. The extraordinary, special atmosphere and little surprises throughout were paired with an exquisite sense of relaxation that somehow coexisted effortlessly. In the very heart of a tower in the very center of Nagoya, we felt completely immersed in the city. Beyond the bookshelf…
