    A One-of-a-Kind Hotel Stay

    Our family of four stayed after making a Reservation for two Rooms, 03 and 08. We’re locals, but since we couldn’t travel far this summer, we came for a refreshing getaway—and it exceeded our expectations. Even though I’ve been to Sakae many times, I had no idea there was such a different world inside the TV Tower. The space is chic and stylish, yet warmly welcoming. From check-in at 3:00 PM to check-out at 12:00 PM the next day, we fully enjoyed an extraordinary Hotel stay. The guest floor is on the 4th floor, but I was told it’s equivalent to about the 8th floor in a typical building. No wonder the views were great (especially to the north and south), and despite being in a busy downtown area, it was surprisingly peaceful. It’s a small luxury Hotel with only a limited number of Rooms, so I can see why there are so many Reviews. I think it’s because there are so many exciting experiences you’ll want to share with friends and family. I find myself talking about how wonderful The Tower Hotel Nagoya is every time I meet my friends.

    Staying at this Hote...

    Staying at this Hotel I’d always wanted to visit was a unique experience—being able to stay in a registered tangible cultural property. The art, space, cuisine, tableware, and overall experience were all wonderful. I stayed in a Room with an exposed steel frame, and I could really feel the story behind it—highly recommended. The staff were also friendly and approachable, and I left feeling truly satisfied. Next time, I’d love to stay in one of the other Rooms as well!

    It was a very nice Hotel!

    My long-distance girlfriend came to Nagoya for summer vacation, so I made a Reservation to enjoy a hotel staycation. The corridor from check-in to the Room was filled with many art pieces on display, and during my stay there was an impressive lineup of stylish bonsai. We also got to hear introductions to the artworks and the history of the tower, which I found very interesting. I especially recommend the Room on L10—one of the tower’s four main pillars runs right through it, so you can see this rare pillar up close! For one of the activities, we made a collage; I got completely absorbed in cutting and pasting, and took my finished piece home as a keepsake. We even received handwritten message cards from the staff, and I felt it was a truly heartwarming Hotel. Next time, I’d like to stay in a different Room as well.

    A truly special experience—stay at the TV Tower!

    Staying in the TV Tower was a truly special experience you can only have here. I used to live in Nagoya, so I was thrilled at the chance to stay in the TV Tower I used to see all the time. When I actually entered the Room, the tower’s steel framework was right there inside—I couldn’t help but get excited. It left a lasting impression. There were also lots of hidden doors, which made it feel like a little treasure hunt and was great fun. The view was beautiful too. The artwork by Mao Shirazawa in the Room we stayed in was wonderful and very much my personal taste. It fit perfectly with the atmosphere of the Room, and it was great being able to relax while enjoying art. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were attentive without being overly formal, so we had a very comfortable stay. We stayed in this Room this time, but I’d love to come back again and enjoy the art and atmosphere of a different Room next time!

    I was impressed by the excellent service and the staff’s attentive care.

    My wife unusually insisted that she wanted to stay at “The Tower Hotel Nagoya,” which she had seen featured in a book. I usually choose the Hotel myself, and since this was a theater trip, I was thinking we should stay near the venue—so I was also a little uneasy about such a unique style of Hotel. But the moment we arrived at the tower, its impact completely exceeded my expectations. Even though we checked in late, the staff welcomed us with genuine smiles, explained everything directly in our Room, and provided welcome services. The view, the tasteful Facilities, and the amenities—all of it struck a perfectly comfortable balance that left a great impression. And to top it off: breakfast. We’ve had opportunities to stay at many Ryokan and Hotels, and this is without question No. 1. (This is getting long—please experience it for yourself.) It also became a great opportunity for me to choose Hotels more broadly without preconceived notions. Thank you very much. Next time I go to Sakae, I will definitely make a Reservation.

    It was the best Hotel stay.

    I decided to enjoy a solo Hotel stay and made a last-minute Reservation. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally attentive, and I was able to spend a wonderful time throughout. The welcome drink and sweets pairing was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this Hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a luxurious time on their own.

    This is a truly wonderful Hotel. The service, the Room, and the breakfast are all exceptionally attentive, and there are delightful surprises everywhere. The art pieces throughout the Hotel are also fascinating.     We stayed here for a marriage proposal. Thanks to the attentive, thoughtful service—something you don’t often experience—it became a truly special time for both of us! From the advance consultation to the schedule on the day, all staff supported us kindly and made us feel very reassured. What we liked Careful planning in advance: When we made our Reservation, they listened closely to our proposal plans and confirmed the detailed schedule by phone, so we could look forward to the day with peace of mind. The decorations were beautifully done and really enhanced the atmosphere. Teamwork and escorting by staff: The coordination among staff was excellent, and their escort during transitions was smooth and comfortable. Their subtle attentiveness throughout showed a high level of service. An art Hotel atmosphere: The room was full of playful design touches and creativity—it wasn’t just a place to stay, but a space you can enjoy like art. It was very photogenic and made for an unforgettable stay. Thanks to everyone on staff, our proposal became even more special. We felt this is a Hotel you can trust with an important day.     The staff’s service and attentiveness were excellent, and we were very satisfied. The view from the Room was great, and we could also visit the observation deck, so we had a wonderful time. We chose the plan with breakfast, and it was outstanding—every dish was delicious, and we were extremely satisfied. It was truly a great stay, so when we go to Nagoya again, we would like to stay here again.

    A Hotel You’ll Definitely Want to Stay At

    I had high expectations because the Reviews were so good, and it exceeded them. The staff’s warm smiles made me feel truly happy. You can enjoy easy hands-on activities like crafts and calligraphy, and before or after the TV Tower’s opening hours, Hotel guests get exclusive access. I was able to take my time enjoying the night view and the sunrise. Breakfast was carefully prepared and absolutely delicious, and the rice was served freshly cooked to match my reserved time. This is a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again.

    A Hotel You’ll Be Glad You Stayed At

    This time, I was able to stay in the Forest Terrace Room, and it was wonderful—very comfortable, with a calm interior of stone and wood. The sofa was incredibly comfortable to sit on, and the bed firmness was the best I’ve ever experienced. Relaxing on the terrace overlooking Hisaya-odori Park and office buildings felt like a special luxury. There were no mosquitoes. The toilet was also top-class—everything is automatic and spotless. It truly feels like an extraordinary, special Room. I’m also grateful that the Hotel staff told me what time sunrise would be. I was surprised at how beautifully it could be seen from the very center of Nagoya. I was deeply impressed that there is a Hotel in this location. Staying within Hisaya-odori Park is truly special. Thank you very much.

    A soothing, extraordinary retreat in an Important Cultural Property.

    Just one step away from the bustling streets of Sakae, and as soon as you open the door, a completely different world awaits. The staff in charge of the guest Rooms were incredibly charming and attentive. In particular, the person who looked after our breakfast seating served every dish at just the right time and showed thoughtful attention to detail—it was truly a pleasure. Overall, since many of the staff are young, their fresh and pleasant service felt wonderfully refreshing. The Diamond member benefit of a one-category Room upgrade was not available due to limited inventory at this popular Hotel, but our Room was still lovely. There is a lounge with wine and whisky, two kinds of juice, and a small selection of traditional snacks. In the evening, you can also enjoy ochazuke. With hidden doors and art throughout the property, we never got bored all day. We had heard that breakfast was delicious—and it really is! We have stayed at many Hotels, but this may be the best. We started with tomato juice, and it was surprisingly good—I was amazed. We were told it has been about six years since opening. This is a Hotel I’m excited to see how it evolves over the next 10 years. Thank you for your refreshing hospitality!

    A Stay That Traces the Memories of a Story

    I finally got to stay at this Hotel I’d been curious about for so long. Ever since I discovered it in the manga “Ohitorisama Hotel,” I’d been thinking, “Someday!”—and this time I actually made it. It was so much fun comparing everything to the scenes (“Ah, that one!!” haha), which made the stay even more enjoyable. What truly took my breath away was the top of the tower in the rain at night. Late at night, I climbed all the way up using the stairs to where the rain was blowing in. Looking out from an exposed steel structure—not through a window, but while actually getting wet in the rain—the rainy Tokyo Tower scene from Kazuo Umezu’s “I Am Shingo” came vividly back to me. When I looked it up later, I learned that based on this TV tower’s success as Japan’s first, it seems the same designer went on to design Tokyo Tower a few years later. Interesting… Knowing that made it even more moving. Breakfast was also delicious and enjoyable. The lounge snacks were great too—I loved trying various nostalgic sweets from Nagoya. I’m grateful for all the thoughtful hospitality as well. I’d definitely love to stay again someday.

    Just right.

    Rather than fully enjoying the Hotel, I used it mainly as a business-style base for getting around. The Room was clean, there was no noise at all from the neighboring rooms, and the bed was comfortable—excellent overall. I had high expectations for breakfast after reading Reviews, but it didn’t really suit my taste. The welcome food, however, was delicious.

    Take your time enjoying Nagoya’s history and art.

    I made a Reservation because I was drawn to the unique design, with exposed steel framing left inside the guest room. On the day of arrival, many staff members welcomed me warmly and kindly offered an upgrade. Inside the room, I could learn about the history of the radio tower and the art in the Hotel through a booklet and the in-room TV guide; if you’re interested, it’s worth taking your time to enjoy it. The six bite-sized welcome sweets and their paired teas were also delicious. The next morning, before breakfast, I enjoyed access to Nagoya Tower’s observation floor during an Accommodation-guest-only time slot. For breakfast, I sat by a south-facing window overlooking Hisaya-odori Park and enjoyed local specialties such as Okumikawa chicken and tamago kake gohan (rice with egg). Throughout my first trip to Nagoya, I was able to spend my time feeling relaxed and truly satisfied.

    Wonderful Hotel

    A Hotel I’d always wanted to stay at. The Room was spacious and comfortable. There are steel beams from the tower inside the Room, but they were beautifully incorporated into the design. To get to the restaurant, you open a secret door. Breakfast was Japanese cuisine, enjoyed while taking in the view. The rice topped with a special raw egg and soy sauce (choose from five options) was outstanding. Dinner was also at the Hotel restaurant. It was French cuisine with a Japanese twist, and it was delicious as well! I heard that after 10:00 PM, access to the tower observatory becomes exclusive to guests staying at the Accommodation. Again, you open a secret door, take an elevator, and head up to the observatory. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great, but it was quiet and relaxing. The hospitality was excellent too—this has become a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again!

    We made wonderful memories we’ll never forget.

    We stayed at the Hotel my child had always said they wanted to visit, to celebrate their university acceptance. It had such high Review ratings that our expectations were very high, but it exceeded them! The staff were truly professional, yet not overly formal or distant. They maintained just the right level of attentiveness and made thoughtful gestures so we could relax and enjoy our stay. We used a twin Room for three people, so we expected some inconvenience, but the Room was spacious enough. There were two TVs, and even a lyrics speaker system that displays song lyrics on a screen—making it a wonderfully luxurious experience. Above all, the breakfast was unforgettable! If you stay at this Hotel, I strongly recommend booking with breakfast included. Not only was everything delicious, but the staff’s considerate service felt genuinely wonderful. True to its name, it became a memory we will never forget. This is a Hotel we would love to stay at again.

    Thrilled by an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind experience unlike anything I’ve had before. I’d love to visit again.

    I’ve stayed at many Hotels, but this place has a story within the building itself, offering an extraordinary sense of escape unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The art and crafts by different artists in each Room felt like viewing works in an art gallery. I was especially moved by the original paintings by renowned artists displayed in a Room near the front desk that anyone can enter. At night, there were surprising features and experiences available only to guests, and even after returning home, I’ve never talked so enthusiastically about a stay with friends and acquaintances—it was truly that special. The service was also excellent; they kindly answered my questions, including restaurant recommendations for dinner, and their warm hospitality meant a lot to me. Thank you very much. The view of Central Park from the guest Room was beautiful as well, and I enjoyed the city scenery. When I visit Nagoya again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

    We stayed to celebrate a birthday. We checked in a little earlier than planned, and although it wasn’t on our schedule, we were guided on an art tour inside the Tower Hotel and were able to fully enjoy the artwork. For dinner, we usually stick with beer, but from the second drink onward they selected wines that paired well with the dishes—both the white and red were excellent alongside the delicious food. Unfortunately it rained at night, but there was a guest-only service that allowed us to visit the observation deck at night. Next time we’ll come when it’s clear. We were impressed by the staff’s courteous and prompt service. All of the welcome services were very satisfying. Because we definitely want to come again, when checking out we left “See you” using the flowers from the flower art we had requested on the bed.

    A Hotel where you can relax while enjoying art

    This was my second stay. I came to attend a recital at the Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater again, but visiting this Hotel was also part of the purpose of my trip. Since my last visit, a guest-only lounge and a wine dining service after 9:00 p.m. have been added, giving me even more to enjoy. The wine selection was unlike anything else, and I also enjoyed listening to the sommelier’s stories. I felt refreshed at the observation deck in the morning and evening, and the outstanding egg-over-rice left me completely satisfied. As with my previous stay, I joined the collage experience again and could feel changes within myself. The staff were kind while keeping just the right amount of distance, so I was able to relax comfortably. I would love to visit again. (Solo female trip #8)

    This is a truly perfect Hotel. The staff’s hospitality was exceptionally polite and wonderful. I was delighted from the moment they welcomed me downstairs upon arrival, and throughout my stay everyone always had a lovely smile and provided first-class attentive service. Even when I realized after checkout that I had left something behind and came back to retrieve it, they responded with genuine kindness and care—I can’t thank them enough. My Room wasn’t on the front side, but the front-facing park view from the breakfast restaurant was the most beautiful and absolutely amazing! Breakfast enjoyed with that view was incredibly delicious, especially the fish, which was outstanding. Next time, I definitely want to stay in a front-facing Room. In addition, the observation deck reserved for guests at night and in the morning wasn’t crowded, so it felt like a special privilege to relax and fully enjoy the scenery. The food, service, and atmosphere were all perfect. This is an exceptional Accommodation that I can confidently recommend.

    Enjoy a truly unique getaway!

    I stayed here for the first time out of curiosity—what kind of Room has part of a steel tower inside it? Thanks to the Diamond member benefit, my Room was upgraded, and it was a wonderful Room with a great view over the park. The staff were courteous, and everyone’s thoughtfulness felt genuinely warm. I also enjoyed the playful passageway to the restaurant and how each Room had a different designer’s touch. The restaurant was so good I’d like to go again. The bread was delicious, but since I had another meal planned afterward, I couldn’t eat much. Personally, I found it inconvenient that the sink was outside the bathroom, which was disappointing. Everything else was excellent.

    It became a wonderful memory.

    The staff’s thoughtfulness and dedication really came through, and we had a wonderfully comfortable stay. Unique art objects were displayed throughout, the interior design was distinctive and stylish, the Room was clean and very functional, and the view from the balcony delivered an unforgettable experience that only Tower Hotel can offer. The meals were elaborate—like works of art that delighted the eyes as well as the palate. The taste was outstanding!! The chef’s handmade sweets were also surprisingly delicious across the board, and we enjoyed every dish with a truly happy heart, feeling the warm hospitality of everyone in the kitchen. Access to the Hotel is excellent, and with modern Facility options and parks nearby, it’s very convenient. Being able to stay in a tower beautifully illuminated at night became our best memory.     This is my second stay.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights. As a Diamond member benefit, my first night was upgraded to the Park Corner Suite (unfortunately there was no availability for the second night). Thank you very much. It was a wonderful Room and made for an unforgettable stay. For those considering a Multiple Night Stay: I learned later that if you contact the Hotel in advance, you can change breakfast from Japanese to Western style (it seems to be on the website, but I missed it). The Western breakfast shown in photos also looked delicious, so I would like to request it next time. This Hotel is truly one of a kind—an art Hotel. The view from the TV Tower, the breakfast, the exposed steel framework in the Room, and the hospitality (especially from a female staff member at the breakfast restaurant this time) were all outstanding. Please remain such a wonderful Hotel forever. I will definitely stay again.

    A Memorable Stay

    We stayed with my son, looking forward to the rare experience of staying inside the TV Tower. It was close to Sakae Station and in a convenient location for sightseeing. Having steel beams inside the Room made it feel truly special, and the interior was stylish and cool. A wonderful time began with the welcome drink, and it was also memorable to stroll around the Hotel and enjoy the many artworks displayed throughout. In particular, the experience of guests-only access to the observation floor at night and early in the morning through a secret door was thrilling and unforgettable. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious across the board, and we were able to savor it at a leisurely pace in a restaurant with a great view. I was especially impressed by the rice cooked in a Vermicular pot—I wanted one for myself. Above all, our stay was made truly memorable by everyone’s warm, heartfelt hospitality at this Hotel. Thank you for such a wonderful time. We would love to stay again.

    It was a great Hotel that offered an exciting experience.

    I stayed here on a friend’s recommendation. Since it was a same-day Reservation and slightly discounted, I chose the Suite Room. The entire Hotel is filled with art, and after arrival the staff kindly explained the Hotel and the Room. Their thorough guidance really impressed me. After that, we were served tea and sweets, and I was amazed by both the generous portions and the carefully curated selection—everything was delicious. Although the Hotel isn’t on a very high floor, it faces a park with an open view, so the scenery was wonderful. The Room also had a stylish atmosphere, and I was able to relax comfortably. The amenities and complimentary drinks were excellent as well. In addition, during certain evening and morning hours, guests can access the Mirai Tower observation deck exclusively; if no other guests are there, it feels like having it all to yourself. With great views and a calm ambiance, I was extremely satisfied. Also, since the elevator to the observation deck is located in an unexpected place, it makes for an exciting experience. I’ll leave the details for you to discover during your stay. This time I booked a Plan with breakfast included—and choosing breakfast was absolutely the right decision. The menu was thoughtfully prepared and tasted fantastic. With great views as well, I couldn’t have been happier. All of the Hotel staff were kind and approachable, and it left a strong impression how confidently they provided service with pride in their Hotel. Overall, it exceeded expectations for the price level, and if you come to Nagoya I highly recommend staying at this Hotel without hesitation. I would love to stay again myself.”
