    A spacious, relaxing space

    Due to road closures caused by heavy snowfall, I ended up staying here at short notice. Even though it’s a Hotel right by the station, the hallways and elevators are spacious, and the staff were calm and attentive, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was also excellent—dashi ochazuke, dried fish, croquettes, and other local flavors—great value for the price. In the middle of a hectic schedule, this unexpected stay was truly relaxing. Thank you very much.

    It was supposed to be Tajima Glass’s Mt. Fuji tumbler, but…

    I stayed here again after a long time. My favorite Hotel in Mishima. It’s new, and as a Tokyu Hotel, both the Facility and service are outstanding. Above all, the bath on the top floor and the breakfast in the scenic restaurant just below it are exceptional. They even serve freshly grilled dried fish. The Mt. Fuji–side twin Room is spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling windows and a built-in sofa by the window where you can stretch out—perfect for relaxing in your Room. Of course, on a clear day you’ll have Mt. Fuji right in front of you. On lower floors, you can also enjoy watching the Izuhakone Railway (Izu-Hakone Railway), JR Tokaido Line, and Tokaido Shinkansen—surprisingly fun views. When I stayed on the 3rd floor before, I made eye contact with some young people waiting for their train on the platform; I waved at them and they waved back (lol). There are Mt. Fuji motifs throughout the Room. The provided glass was supposed to be a Tajima Glass Mt. Fuji tumbler... but it was just a regular tumbler. From what I’ve seen in Reviews, some Rooms do have the Mt. Fuji tumbler—maybe it got broken? A bit disappointing. Lately, though, prices have gone up so it’s not as easy to stay here casually anymore. But IKYU sometimes runs Point Rate-up promotions, which can make it quite reasonable if you time it right—this off-season stay was an incredible 50% off! One ongoing issue for me is parking: the parking lot under the Hotel is small, so you may end up using an outside coin parking lot, and it can feel like you’re searching for a spot. Since it’s directly connected to the station, this won’t be a problem if you arrive by train. I’d like to stay again.

    A hotel with views of Mt. Fuji

    The hotel is very close to the station, making it easy to get around by train! You can enjoy a hot spring bath on the top floor. The mountain-view room was truly beautiful—waking up to a view of Mt. Fuji in the morning was amazing.

    It exceeded my expectations.

    The location was great, and the Room was very clean. We were able to get to the nearby Sawayaka by taxi for about 1,200–1,300 yen one way. This is not the Hotel’s fault, but it was troubling that a boy who looked about 8 or 9 years old came into the women’s bath while I was bathing. Other than that, everything was great.

    Room with smoke film applied to the window glass

    We stayed on a Superior Double Plan with dinner (Japanese-Western course) and breakfast included. The Room we were shown was on the 4th floor, and about two-thirds of the window was covered with a semi-transparent white frosted film. I felt it was misleading to advertise this as a “city view” when the film blocks most of the view. I would have preferred it to be described as a limited-view Room or a Room with no view. Since it was a weekday stay on a two-meal Plan, I had expected a better Room. Disappointing.

    From the Room window—wow, it feels like you could almost grab Mt. Fuji!

    I had visited Mishima Taisha Shrine before and hoped to stay here someday, so I was thrilled to finally make it happen. In winter, with clear skies and a corner twin Room—everything lined up perfectly. We enjoyed nonstop views of Mt. Fuji and the trains passing by. At night, the half moon and the city lights were beautiful. Each dish in the meal was thoughtfully prepared and brought smiles to our faces. The appetizers, fish, and meat were all creative and delicious. As a Japanese-Western fusion course, it came with bread as well as takikomi rice, miso soup, and pickles—so we were completely satisfied. We always look forward to sweets wherever we go, and there were two kinds—both beautiful and delicious (we shared them half-and-half). It was clearly stated that the large public bath is not an Onsen, but the spacious open-air bath was hotter than the indoor bath and felt wonderful—it warmed us up nicely. Great food nearby plus plenty of sweets, beautiful views, a clean Room, and well-maintained Facility—we found a great Hotel! Thank you to all the staff for your thoughtful hospitality.

    Close to the station...

    Close to the station to begin with, the property is new and spotless—and best of all, we could see Mt. Fuji from the front desk, the large public bath, and our Room. We only had the breakfast buffet. The horse mackerel was very delicious. If possible, I would be happy if there were a few more side-dish options. Also, this is due to my lack of awareness, but I wish I had known about the Green Coin program in advance—I would have brought my own toothbrush and other amenities. Overall, we were very satisfied. The staff were kind and helpful, and we had a comfortable stay. If we come to Mishima again, we would love to stay here again.

    Beautiful views of Mt. Fuji

    Mt. Fuji is simply stunning. We enjoyed its ever-changing views from the Room, the open-air bath, and even during meals. The contracted parking lot costs 1,500 yen for 24 hours, but you are charged each time you enter and exit. The Hotel was very clean throughout and well maintained. Breakfast was satisfying overall, but items like the French toast seemed to be made in advance and had become cold and firm. We were completely satisfied and would like to come again.

    I noticed a new hotel at Mishima Station while passing by on the Shinkansen and decided to stay there during the year-end holidays. Mishima Station is known as one of the best Fuji-view spots on the Tokaido Shinkansen, so I was curious if Mount Fuji would be visible. On the first day of my one-night stay, it was unfortunately cloudy, and I couldn't see Mount Fuji. However, the next morning was clear with no clouds in sight, offering a stunning view of Mount Fuji that left me very satisfied. The room was clean since it’s a new accommodation but felt quite small for this class of hotel. The unit bath and toilet were at a business hotel level—very basic—and I found the toilet particularly inconvenient to use. On the other hand, the large public bath facilities were excellent. Although not an Onsen, they included an open-air bath and well-equipped sauna facilities, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I opted for a breakfast-and-dinner set plan. Breakfast was very satisfying with plenty of delicious options like grilled horse mackerel fillets—a nice touch reflecting its location as a gateway to Izu. Dinner had an interesting mix of Japanese-Western fusion dishes. While French cuisine formed its base, there were Japanese-style items like mirin-glazed golden eye snapper in between courses. The meal ended with takikomi rice and miso soup—a unique combination. However, since bread also appeared during dinner due to its French base, it felt unbalanced and overly filling. It would be nice if simpler or lighter French-only course options were available as well.

    Mount Fuji was visible.

    Stayed for one night on a clear winter day, and the view of Mt. Fuji was stunning from check-in to check-out, except at night. The room was warm, so I kept the blinds open and enjoyed a lifetime's worth of Mt. Fuji views. Thanks to the weather, the scenery was absolutely satisfying. The hotel itself felt like a slightly upscale business hotel—new, clean, and overall very tidy. Now for some downsides: The clothes rack near the room entrance was too small; it became cramped with two coats and other clothing hanging there. Below it were shelves and bath basket sets that made it even harder to use efficiently despite plenty of unused space elsewhere—it felt wasteful. Breakfast was very disappointing. Even after being seated, there were no trays available. Dishes, food items—everything seemed delayed in preparation or restocking. The much-anticipated mackerel mentioned in reviews never appeared at all! Lines formed waiting for rice bowls or rice itself, causing further congestion that made getting food difficult. Since I booked an affordable plan, I could accept these shortcomings; however, if paying full price, this would have been unacceptable. If understaffed, they should not accept breakfast reservations beyond their capacity to handle properly.

    Satisfied.

    I was initially concerned about the year-end crowd, but I was very satisfied with the staff's courteous service and the delicious breakfast. Although there seemed to be a fair number of guests, the atmosphere was relaxing. The bath area was very clean, and both the washing area and changing room were pleasant. The amenities were well-stocked, which added to my satisfaction. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again.

    Stunning Mount Fuji View

    I stayed at the accommodation again as a "revenge" trip because I couldn't see Mt. Fuji during my stay in July. Although it wasn't visible upon arrival, the next day offered a beautiful view, which was amazing. This time, I stayed in a corner room that had a sofa and was very comfortable and relaxing. The bathroom also had a Mt. Fuji view, which was great. I made the reservation with breakfast and dinner included, but I felt that dinner took too long to be served. However, breakfast was excellent.

    We stayed for three nights. The Hotel was very clean, and the Room was spacious with a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. However, the public bath area was disappointing as the changing space was cramped and uncomfortable, so we ended up using the shower in our Room instead. We had meals at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Dinner consisted of course meals; for the first two nights, they were elaborate and satisfying both visually and taste-wise—absolutely delicious! However, on the last night, the menu was quite disappointing. Even the dessert felt like leftovers from afternoon tea and wasn’t enjoyable at all. It left us feeling let down as it should have been a memorable meal to end our stay on a high note.

    Conveniently located next to the station, the front desk is just a quick elevator ride to the 2nd floor. The Room felt more spacious than expected, thanks to the large windows, and the long sofa added a relaxing touch. The Mt. Fuji glassware was unique and gave a special feel. Our Room had a city view, so we enjoyed a leisurely view of Mt. Fuji from the 14th-floor public bath. The bath area had plenty of washing stations, and the changing room was clean and user-friendly. Breakfast on the 13th floor at "Ro" offered stunning views while dining. Both Japanese and Western options were available, catering to various preferences. Although I hadn't eaten grilled horse mackerel in years due to personal taste, it looked so delicious that I decided to try it—and it was indeed tasty!     Compact and Comfortable Hotel

    I decided to visit Mishima to enjoy eel and took the opportunity to stay overnight. The room was a bit small for three people, but it was compact and comfortable. The room wear was excellent. The large public bath was spacious with very nice hot water. (I was surprised to see a foreign guest bathing with a bath towel wrapped around them.) Breakfast was delicious while enjoying the view of Mount Fuji. Although I see tiny glimpses of Mount Fuji every day, seeing it clearly on a sunny day without any obstructions felt refreshing, and everything from dried fish to other dishes had no misses—everything tasted great. My family mentioned they appreciated having soy milk available as well. I would love to stay again and recommend this accommodation to my friends. Thank you very much!

    It was absolutely wonderful. Mount Fuji could be seen magnificently from the Room, the amenities were well-equipped, and the course meals were delicious—everything was perfect.     It was a one-night, two-day trip with my childhood friend after a long time. Located in front of Mishima Station, the room offered an amazing view of Mt. Fuji! I was thrilled to see Mt. Fuji in the evening, morning, and daytime. The room was clean and tidy, with a bed that had just the right firmness for a good night's sleep. The Onsen was excellent, and I fully enjoyed the open-air bath as well. The front desk staff were polite and kindly stored our luggage while we went sightseeing, which was very helpful.     Seasonal Accommodation

    Every year, I visit Shizuoka and stay at this hotel. Although it's not guaranteed every time, if you're lucky, you can enjoy a stunning view of Mount Fuji from the room window. Mount Fuji is great, but the dried fish served at breakfast might be the best part!

    It is a very good Hotel.

    This was my first time staying here, and both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. The design featured traditional Japanese elements, creating a calm atmosphere even with international guests. The staff were very polite, the large public bath was clean, and I enjoyed a view of Mt. Fuji. I accidentally left something in the Room, but the staff responded quickly, for which I am very grateful. The location is also excellent. I would love to stay here again.

    There are various Hotel breakfasts, but freshly grilled fish is always appealing. For someone like me who loves vegetables and fruits, the selection is abundant and delicious.     Convenient location & sparkling new for a comfortable stay!

    Stayed on a high floor with a view of Mt. Fuji during our summer vacation. Unfortunately, the mountain was hidden by clouds, but the location in the center of Mishima was convenient for nearby sightseeing. As a new Hotel, everything from the Room to the open-air bath and all Facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet on the top floor with great views offered a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes. Local fish, vegetables, and fruits were all delicious. The parking lot was small and first-come-first-served, so we had to park at a slightly distant lot when it was full; however, this resulted in lower parking fees. The Room was modern and comfortable, but the toilet seat size was quite small—my husband (180 cm tall) found it too small to sit comfortably. The mattress and pillows were on the softer side, which didn’t suit our preference for firmer bedding perfectly. Although prices were quite high during Obon season, overall it was a pleasant stay at this Hotel. The glassware featuring an image of Mt. Fuji stood out as unique and beautiful!

    Ruined at checkout.

    At check-out, the staff member gave strong instructions to other staff while assisting me. I believe it would be better to either finish attending to the guest first or, in case of an emergency, kindly ask the guest to wait briefly and handle it in the back office. Although this is a local Hotel, it is part of a reputable hotel chain, so I was quite surprised.
