    It was a lovely Room.

    We stayed as a family. The wet area (bathroom and vanity) and minibar area can be separated from the bedroom with sliding doors. The wet area was very spacious, and in addition to a double-basin sink there was a makeup corner with a stool, so after our child fell asleep we could leave the lights on in that area, boil water to make tea, and read at the makeup corner without worrying. It’s an unusual layout, but it was functional. The Room was also spacious and clean, and we felt it was a great Room we would like to stay in again. The sweets and cakes served in the lounge were generally quite sweet, and the only savory snack option was nuts. We were also a bit disappointed that the coffee machine couldn’t make milk-based drinks such as café lattes. Cocktail time offered a limited selection—cold meats, cheese, and some fruit. There were few staff in the lounge and it was self-service, which made it easy to relax at our own pace. Breakfast was extremely crowded and didn’t feel very relaxing; for example, steamed rice wasn’t replenished promptly. However, we enjoyed trying local dishes such as kishimen noodles and hitsumabushi. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    This trip to Nagoya was to celebrate my elderly mother’s birthday. Since it was a special occasion, we wanted to stay at a nice Hotel and chose this one. We compared it with the Hilton, Gate Tower Hotel, and Royal Hotel, and decided on this property—and it turned out to be an outstanding stay. I’ve stayed at the Royal Hotel and Hilton before (though not in Nagoya), so their reliability felt reassuring, but this was my first time staying at a Prince Hotel. Not only are the facilities excellent, but the staff were also wonderfully polite and calm in their service. The entrance on the first floor has a high ceiling, and walking toward the lobby really builds excitement. When you go up to the lobby on the 31st floor, there’s a chic atmosphere and you’re greeted by a gentle, sweet scent that feels very relaxing. The front desk area is open to below, creating an exceptional sense of space. Our Room also had beautiful views from the window, and we could enjoy different scenery throughout the day—from morning to afternoon to night. Breakfast offered an impressive variety; over two mornings during our two-night stay, we were able to enjoy completely different selections each time. The quality of the food was high as well, and overall satisfaction was excellent. The staff consistently greeted us and checked in attentively in a way that showed they were truly looking after their guests, which also gave an inviting, home-like comfort. The club lounge had an elegant atmosphere too, making it feel like a real treat. It truly was a wonderful stay. Thank you very much for everything.

    A Highly Rated Hotel

    I stayed for one night. The Room was a comfortable size and felt clean. Breakfast also included Nagoya local specialties, which I enjoyed! I’d like to stay again!

    Stayed for two night...

    Stayed for two nights. The room was spacious and very functional. We dined at Sky Dining Tenku. Although we ordered the free-flow option, no one came to take drink orders at all, and we had to go to the back area each time to call a staff member. To make matters worse, they were squatting behind a partition chatting. A friend dining with me was also astonished. Without a fundamental change in mindset across the Hotel, I cannot expect any future potential here, and since there are many Hotels in Nagoya with far better service, I will not be staying again.

    Shocked by the terrible service in the lounge!

    How many years has it been since my beloved Prince Hotel opened in Nagoya!? I have stayed here many times since it first opened. I’ve stayed in every Room type and always enjoyed the view from the Room and the overall Hotel stay. This time, three families were planning to get together for a hospital discharge celebration and a birthday, so we decided on this stay at short notice. On the day of the Reservation, one family member who was supposed to join us came down with a fever. When we were at a loss, the Reservation staff kindly helped us, and we were able to proceed so that two families could stay. We came with sincere gratitude. This time, our plan included dinner with lounge access and breakfast included, so I was happy to be able to use the lounge again after a long time (the macarons here are delicious). However! I was surprised that the service style had changed from before, but after dinner we went to the lounge for coffee—and I was simply stunned by how rude the staff member’s attitude was. Then, when trying to use the lounge after breakfast the next morning, it still did not open even after opening time had passed (I went twice to ask what time it would open). It never opened on schedule. The lack of punctuality was unacceptable. I was also surprised that lounge opening time is 10:00—it feels quite late—but even so, is it really acceptable that only after front desk staff called out from outside did someone finally open the door? In the past I never felt uncomfortable like this and could enjoy a pleasant Hotel stay... Also, there were crumbs and debris between chairs at every table inside the lounge; it wasn’t clean enough to sit down until it was cleaned (we asked staff to clean it). This is unimaginable—at least for what Prince used to be like. We had made this Reservation for our family member who developed a fever. Not wanting them to have an unpleasant experience as well, we Cancelled the Reservation immediately. I don’t know whether your target guests have changed and that’s why service has declined like this. It’s such a waste because there are still wonderful points unique to Prince: an outstanding location, comfortable Rooms that are easy to use, excellent bathrooms and plumbing fixtures—so much good about this place. I believe you should be more selective about which staff members are assigned to handle lounge service. For now (until I can forget), I will refrain from enjoying Prince’s wonderful views.

    The only disappointment was that there was no omelet.

    Everything was great except that the breakfast omelet was scrambled eggs! It was clean, the staff were wonderful, and it smelled nice! It was conveniently located for visiting LEGOLAND.

    It was a clean and wonderful Hotel. The view from the Room was also great. I would like to stay here again when I visit Nagoya. Next time, I’d like to use the lounge.

    Not as good as expected.

    It had been a while since I last stayed in Nagoya, and we chose this Hotel as a family because of the great views. The view was wonderful, but there were a few areas that did not meet our expectations. Sorry—this is just my personal opinion. 1) There are only two elevators from the ground floor to the lobby and from the lobby to the guest rooms. With many guests traveling with children, it was difficult to ride smoothly. Since the Aonami Line runs every 10 minutes, if you miss it, it can feel chilly on the windy platform. 2) Breakfast tasted good, but the buffet area was narrow, and there was a long line for omelets so we gave up. This may be due to the open-atrium design, but I think it would be better to expand both the seating and serving areas. 3) The bed was firm and uncomfortable for me as someone with lower back pain. I also would have liked to be able to watch online streaming services such as YouTube on the TV. For those arriving by car, I think it is a good Hotel where you can relax and enjoy your stay.

    It became a wonderful memory.

    The view the moment I entered the Room was wonderful, and I had a very enjoyable stay. I also enjoyed alcoholic drinks in the lounge, and the staff interacted with me at just the right level of attentiveness. At check-out, even though they were busy, a housekeeping staff member stopped what they were doing to greet me, which made me feel truly valued. I will stay here again.

    It was a same-day reservation, but...

    Thank you for preparing a Room on the 35th floor even though it was a same-day Reservation. Last time, I stayed in a Room with a view toward Nagoya Station, and this time I also really liked the Room overlooking the canal. As I was staying alone, I declined an upgrade to a lounge-access Room, but I would like to consider it next time. In the evening, three of our employees dined at the Sky Bar and enjoyed dishes inspired by the Toyotomi brothers; they were very pleased and said it felt auspicious. I thought it was a very interesting concept. I look forward to staying with you again next time.

    A clean and sophisticated Hotel overall

    First, the open atrium lobby is wonderful. The Room is clean and well kept, and having a separate bath and toilet is a big plus. Breakfast also scores highly for offering popular local specialties like hitsumabushi and chicken wings. For the second night, I upgraded to a Deluxe Room for an additional fee, and it was excellent. With a price difference of 30,000 yen, it might have been cheaper to make that Reservation from the start.

    Travel time to see *Mamma Mia!* with my niece’s family from New Zealand and my cousin.

    Spending an elegant time in the Hotel lounge after a wonderful theater performance was pure bliss. I was impressed by the wide selection of premium alcoholic drinks, but what surprised me most was the amazing location of the restroom right as you step inside. I couldn’t believe such a beautiful spot existed—it was my first time seeing anything like it, and I was captivated. The Room also had a calm atmosphere, and with snow falling outside the window, it became a romantic night to remember. Breakfast offered a great variety and even included ice cream—I truly wanted to say thank you for such a happy morning. Thank you very much for all your thoughtful hospitality.

    I am satisfied again this time.

    Check-in was very busy, but the system of issuing numbered tickets was helpful and appreciated. The club lounge was full, so we were about to leave and return later when a staff member kindly informed us that a table had just become available. They quickly cleaned it and guided us to our seats, which made us very happy. We were also promptly served welcome sweets, and we are grateful for the hospitality of the staff. We look forward to visiting again during a less busy time. Thank you!

    Club Lounge Access

    Reserved a plan with Club Lounge access. I expected to check in and out at the lounge, but the procedures were done standing at the front desk. During the process, I was offered an upgrade for an additional 20,000 yen. Using a 3,000 yen hotel credit, I was able to enjoy a room with a great view and relax comfortably. Thank you for the small gift as well. After check-in, I was informed that welcome sweets would be available at the Club Lounge; however, I couldn't have them due to ingredients I am not fond of. In such cases, other hotels have provided flexible alternatives (such as offering different sweets), showing heartfelt hospitality from their staff. Since this was my first stay at Nagoya Prince Hotel and had high expectations, it felt disappointing. At breakfast buffet in the morning, I looked forward to egg dishes from the live kitchen but found no options like omelets or fried eggs—only scrambled eggs were available—so I skipped having any egg dishes altogether. The venue felt like a family restaurant with children running around everywhere; extra care was needed when moving from buffet tables back to seats without bumping into anyone. Overall food quality seemed standard and didn’t quite feel like "The Hotel Buffet" experience. While I've shared various thoughts about my experience here, I'm grateful for being able to relax in a spacious room with beautiful views. Wishing all staff members good health during these cold days ahead!

    The view from the Room is amazing.

    The view from the 36th floor was amazing, and the train view was excellent. The lounge was also great. Breakfast included local dishes, which showed thoughtful effort. However, one point to note is that while the bathtub was spacious and allowed for a relaxing soak, the vanity area lacked a door, making the changing space feel too open and slightly uncomfortable. Overall, it is a wonderful Hotel.

    Stayed for a birthday celebration.

    A birthday message card and baked sweets were prepared in the Room, which was very touching. Thank you. We used the lounge and were able to spend a comfortable time with two young children for an extended period. Since the lounge usage fee for children aged 4 and above is 3,000 yen, it would be nice if there were more drink options for children. The morning buffet was delicious, especially the hitsumabushi, chicken wings, and three types of soft-boiled eggs.

    Access from Nagoya S...

    Access from Nagoya Station is a bit inconvenient, requiring one stop on the Aonami Line, but Sashima Live Station was quiet and peaceful during the year-end season. I enjoyed using the Club Lounge at all times of the day, especially appreciating the cheese, gold-leaf champagne, chocolate, and beef stew. Breakfast at the bar counter offered stunning views; I particularly loved the hitsumabushi and salad with plum dressing. Additionally, the view from the restroom on the front desk floor was spectacular.

    The hotel's night view is stunning, and the breakfast is uniquely delightful, featuring a pancake machine and ice cream! While transportation may not be the most convenient, you can take the Aonami Line to reach us. Plus, there's a skybridge to ensure you stay dry even on rainy days!

    The room is on a hig...

    The room is on a high floor with a great view. The room setup is well-designed, spacious enough, and satisfactory. There is only one restaurant and no shops, making it ideal for a more relaxed stay. It is one station away from Nagoya Station via the Aonami Line railway; walking is possible but may feel slightly far if you have luggage. I used the breakfast restaurant, which offered standard options for this type of accommodation without any particular complaints. Most front desk staff are polite; however, I was surprised when the woman handling my check-in addressed me informally by name—this area could use some retraining.

    Always reliable, Prince Hotel.

    As always, Prince Hotel offers the utmost comfort. Great views, delicious meals, excellent drinks—the only concern is a slight weight gain. Surrounded by wonderful staff, you can enjoy a safe and secure stay. It's so relaxing that you might lose track of time and end up staying longer than planned.

    For my daughter's wedding

    Since my daughter got married and moved to Nagoya, I have been staying at this accommodation and absolutely love it. This time, we stayed in a connecting room as a family of four. The room was spacious, with separate bath and toilet facilities, allowing us to relax in the bathtub comfortably. The pajamas were two-piece sets, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything about this hotel is perfect. The breakfast buffet was especially outstanding with a wide variety of dishes that were absolutely delicious. On the day we arrived, one of our companions developed a high fever. When we consulted the front desk, they informed us that there is a clinic located below the hotel and arranged everything for us while guiding us there personally—it was truly helpful. As I will be visiting Nagoya frequently from now on, I plan to stay at this hotel again in the future.

    The view was great, and the lounge was comfortable and relaxing. The room was well-cleaned, making it very cozy. I will visit Nagoya again in March and have already completed the Reservation. I look forward to staying with you again.
