    It is a good Hotel.

    I stayed at the Kamogawa Suite, and the Room was spacious and had a sense of openness, which made my wife happy.

    The Miracle of Sanjo, Kamo River!

    Kiyamachi, Pontocho, and Teramachi are all within walking distance. You will never get bored with dining and shopping. The Facility and cost performance are also excellent!

    Is it a basement?

    I chose it because the review said the view was excellent. Unfortunately, it was a basement room without external windows. I wish I had been informed that there was no view.

    Highly recommended!

    It is very clean, and the staff are very kind! This was my second stay, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and Kyoto specialties. There is a high-end tofu Kyoto cuisine restaurant nearby the hotel, and going there for dinner is always a pleasure. I would like to stay at the same hotel again next time!

    It was a very good Hotel.

    It was a quiet Hotel along the Kamo River, yet convenient for going anywhere. The Room without a view was a bit dark. The bath was nice, and I used it several times.

    New Year's Day Trip to Kyoto

    The Room was spacious and clean. The subway station was also nearby, making it convenient for sightseeing. It was within walking distance from Yasaka Shrine and Gion. The bath in the basement was relaxing and helped relieve fatigue. The breakfast was also delicious.

    I would like to use it again!

    I used the Superior Corner Twin with breakfast. The bath and toilet are separate, which made it convenient to use. I was able to enjoy the large public bath comfortably. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. Above all, every staff member was cheerful and pleasant. It is conveniently located and close to the subway station, so you can leave your luggage and go anywhere. The Room was on the road side, so next time I would like to stay on the Kamo River side.

    Thank you for accommodating sudden changes. The Room was very clean and comfortable. It was my first time using this service, but the location was easy to find. I will use it again when I visit Kyoto.

    Excellent location

    It was a very charming Hotel facing Kiyamachi. There was a large public bath and a washing machine, which made me very satisfied. I will definitely stay again when I visit Kyoto.

    A wonderful Stays.

    The location is excellent, the room is clean and spacious, and the bed is comfortable, so there is nothing to complain about, except for one point. I made the reservation without breakfast, and on the day, I requested to add it, but it was declined. It seems that there are only enough ingredients for the reserved amount. There might be situations where guests want breakfast on the day, so could you please consider customer service a bit more, not just efficiency? If it's a luxury hotel, this is something I would definitely expect.

    Unpleasant

    The reception's response was repeatedly unpleasant. I can't believe this is a Facility recommended by IKYU. I no longer want to visit Kyoto again. It would be better to retrain your staff properly before reopening.

    Stayed in a Superior Corner Twin

    The Hotel is conveniently located near Kyoto City Hall Station. With Pontocho nearby, dining was not an issue. The Superior Corner Twin Room was spacious and allowed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was mildly flavored and delicious. I ended up overeating with the chirashi sushi and dashi chazuke. This time, I enjoyed a leisurely stay until the 12 PM checkout with the Diamond Member benefits. I would love to stay again.

    Noisy Room.

    It was a Room on the city side of the 3rd floor. I could hear the voices of people walking on the road, the sound of motorcycles, and cars. I was surprised at how noisy it was. The staff's response was very good, so it was disappointing.

    Since the main purpo...

    Since the main purpose is sightseeing, I was looking for a Hotel where I could just sleep, but with separate bath and toilet, decent breakfast, not a typical Business Hotel, with indoor parking for my car, and easy access to the shops I want to visit... and found this one. I think it's a convenient Hotel for when sightseeing is the main focus. There are many foreign guests.

    Dissatisfied

    It is understandable that the furniture is old, but it is not well-maintained. Additionally, when using the hairdryer at the sink to dry hair, dust from the sink area rises. With these conditions, it is hard to say that the "price is reasonable."

    The service was excellent.

    I stayed after the Gion Matsuri Ato Matsuri. I appreciate the prompt response to my various requests. If you go to the bath early, you can relax and sweat it out. I would like to stay at this hotel again next time.

    The breakfast we were looking forward to... was not quite up to expectations!

    Overall, apart from the location (along the Kamogawa River), everything else is quite ordinary... It would be the best location if it were a bit further from the bridge! Now for the complaints! Breakfast) ① The start time (from 7:00) is late, and since the space is narrow, it gets particularly crowded right at the start (worst for a buffet). ② They escort you to your seat, but the seating arrangement feels crowded as it's concentrated in the back (not great). It should be more spread out... It might be due to a lack of staff, but if that leads to fewer guests, it's a lose-lose situation. ③ Is the curry lukewarm? It doesn't look like it, but it's disappointing. Also, while the omelet service is good, abroad they usually offer a full range of egg dishes... It's half-hearted. So, it was a disappointing result!

    View Bath Twin

    I stayed in a "View Bath Twin" Room. From the courtyard-like area, I could feel the brightness and the atmosphere of the plants outside, allowing me to stay indoors without feeling cramped. There were modernly designed geta provided along with the indoor wear for going to the large public bath, which was very helpful. I also had breakfast, and it was well-organized and easy to understand. I was able to relax and enjoy my time.

    The hospitality of the staff was good, but the cushions in the Room smelled very sweaty, and it seemed they probably hadn't been washed. Also, the trash bin next to the shower in the large public bath was overflowing, raising concerns about the overall hygiene of the Hotel.
