A long-awaited trip with friends
I visited for a trip with a friend for the first time in four years since the COVID-19 situation has calmed down. The Room was newly renovated, spacious, and beautiful, allowing us to have lively conversations and a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The staff were also very friendly and kind with their smiles. I would love to visit again.

All the staff are courteous and wonderful.
We used the property for sightseeing in Nara in autumn as a couple in our 50s. We chose it because the location of the stays seemed good, and it was convenient to explore various places on foot. Above all, the best part was the service from the staff. All the staff I met in the property were smiling and courteous, which I thought was wonderful. The room was also being renovated in stages, and it was very clean and comfortable. The room was barrier-free, making it easy to use even for older guests. We wanted to visit a restaurant in Naramachi, so we chose a plan with breakfast this time, but the breakfast was delicious, so next time we would like to choose a plan with dinner. It was also nice that we were allowed to park the car even after checkout. The weather was nice, and it was the holiday season, so all the surrounding parking lots were full, which was helpful. Thank you very much.

First family trip to Nara
We visited Nara for the first time during a three-day weekend with our 4-year-old child and stayed at this property. It was a wonderful stay with delicious meals, ice cream service, and warm hospitality. The onsen had both a large public bath and an open-air bath, and our child was delighted. I think it's a very good ryokan for families with children, as you can choose meals and yukata for kids, and there are picture books available. It was so lovely that it was a bit disappointing that check-in was at 10 AM.

The food is good.
Conveniently located near Sarusawa Pond, the staff's response was excellent, and I was able to relax greatly. The level of the meal content is high and stylish. The upgraded room was a corner room that had just been renovated in September, featuring a comfortable Japanese-modern style with white cypress wood. The futon and other fabrics felt good to the touch, and the pillow height was just right. The view of Kofukuji Temple from the circular window was wonderful. The in-room OSAJI shampoo and other men's cosmetics were also OSAJI. Women's cosmetics were Phytoncide. The large public bath featured POLA's Aroma Ess Gold cosmetics. All products were well-considered and pleasant to use. Just one thing, it would be nice to have a small chair in the room's washroom for women. Standing in front of the mirror for a long time is tough, so the mirror would need to be positioned a little lower.

Very good
It was an inn where everything felt beautiful. The entire facility was clean, and the room, which had just been renovated, was pleasant. With lovely plates, glasses, and cutlery, we enjoyed a comfortable time drinking in the room. At the restaurant, we were guided to a private room, and the food was both beautiful and delicious. The tableware was also lovely, making for a very good time. The staff were cheerful throughout, making it a pleasant one-night, two-day stay. Thank you very much.

The service and meals are excellent.
We stayed for one night in Nara as a couple. We visited with high expectations due to the good reviews, and from the moment we arrived, everyone we encountered, including the person who assisted us throughout our stay, provided attentive and considerate service, exceeding our expectations. The room was a bit old-fashioned, but it was well-cleaned and maintained, so we didn't feel the age and had a comfortable stay. The meals were as delicious as the reviews had promised, both in taste and presentation. We had booked a plan with access to the rooftop lounge, but unfortunately, Kofuku-ji Temple was under renovation, so we couldn't see the view we had seen on the website from the bath or lounge. However, the stay was so wonderful and satisfying that it didn't bother us at all. It's an inn I would recommend to many people without any complaints.

It was a very lovely hotel.
We stayed as a group of four women. The room was spacious and clean, allowing us to relax comfortably. The food was excellent, and everyone was very satisfied. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Japanese inns are wonderful.
The appearance of a historic inn located right in the heart of Nara's tourist attractions. I booked a plan with a Japanese-style room and a rooftop lounge. Upon researching, I found out it was a ryotei inn, so I upgraded the standard kaiseki dinner to a special selection! (An additional 3,300 yen per person) The meals far exceeded my expectations, with everything being extremely delicious, and there was a wide selection of local Nara sake, allowing us to have a wonderful evening. The old saying that there's nothing tasty in Nara seems like a lie! In the rooftop lounge, we enjoyed beer and wine while gazing at the endless blue sky. We were able to savor the quiet flow of natural time, something you can't experience in Kyoto. Booking with the lounge was the right choice! However, it seems that replenishment is not done frequently, so I would be happy if that could be improved. This inn makes you curious about the seasonal dishes and the climate for spending time in the lounge. It's definitely a place I want to visit again.
