    An incomplete impression

    If considered as a Business Hotel, it's good; if considered as a city or tourist Hotel, it feels lacking. Overall, it left a somewhat incomplete impression. This time, I stayed for tourism purposes, so the disappointing points stood out. The amenities are not fully equipped in the Room but are selected and brought in from the lobby, there is no wardrobe or desk in the Room, and the clothes locker is almost wall-mounted. If these are improved, I think the satisfaction level would increase even if the accommodation fee rises slightly. As for breakfast, although the variety is limited, everything was delicious and satisfying.

    Although Kyoto can b...

    Although Kyoto can be visited as a day trip, I chose to stay overnight to enjoy a leisurely time. The Room and public areas were very clean. The large public bath was especially wonderful.

    It is a relaxing Hotel.

    It was unfortunate that there were no larger Rooms available. Although it was simple and without waste, it was convenient to use. I was pleased that there was a large public bath. I also enjoyed the breakfast.

    This is unlike any Hotel you have experienced before! Be sure to try it.

    The entrance features a design reminiscent of a traditional Kyoto townhouse. Is this really the Hotel where you'll be staying tonight?! Hesitating for a moment, you enter the outer door to find a courtyard adorned with a flower basin. Entering the inner door, you arrive at the lobby, where another courtyard composed of Kyoto's native trees welcomes you. The Hotel and guest rooms are subtly decorated with modern yet Kyoto-esque art, creating a soothing atmosphere. Kyoto in winter is bone-chillingly cold, so head to the large public bath. The water feels silky, and upon closer inspection, you notice fine carbonated gas bubbles rising from the bottom of the tub. Letting your body be enveloped by the tiny bubbles warms both body and soul. The subtle yet well-understood hospitality of the Kyoto region makes you want to return. There are also many dining establishments in the area with modern yet Kyoto-like designs, which are another delight to explore.

    It was a Room for three women, but it was spacious enough for three people. The breakfast was renewed and tasted good, and we were very satisfied with our stay. (We were healed by the smile of Y-kun who served us during breakfast.)

    This was my second stay following last year. It's a bit of a distance from the station, but it's flat and just one train from Kyoto Station, so it's convenient. The luggage delivery service is excellent. If you leave your luggage at checkout, they will take it to the Mitsui Garden Hotel in front of Kyoto Station (for a fee), allowing you to enjoy sightseeing hands-free and pick it up before boarding the Shinkansen while enjoying a drink in the lounge, making it effective for a short break and time adjustment. Additionally, the large public bath, which is rare for a hotel, is great for recovering after walking around sightseeing. The breakfast offers a wide variety, making it hard to choose. There are also many restaurants around the hotel, so you won't have trouble finding dinner. There are still many places I want to visit in Kyoto, so I think I will use this service again. Thank you very much!

    The meals were also delicious.

    The Room was clean, the security was solid, and it was convenient to be able to send luggage to the affiliated Hotel in front of the station. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff's attentiveness was excellent, allowing us to have a pleasant time.

    The breakfast is amazing. I felt like staying multiple nights because I couldn't finish it all.

    The staff's response was very good, and the room was clean. It was very hot outside, and I got drenched in sweat from sightseeing, so it was very pleasant to wash off the sweat in the spacious public bath. However, since the public bath is open from 3 PM to 9 AM the next morning, I thought it would be nice if it could be used after a morning walk before checking out. The baggage service is also very good. It's one of the reasons I chose this place. It was a great service to be able to leave my luggage at the station upon arrival and enjoy work and sightseeing hands-free. However, it was inconvenient and disappointing that if you miss the 11 AM reception before checkout, you can only pick up your luggage at the station after 6 PM. I think it would be nice to have two services at different times. But overall, I was happy to see the staff's dedication. I will use it again.
