    High-rise Hotel

    The Hotel on the upper floors offers an extraordinary experience, which I really like. The view from the high floors is amazing. The Room was spacious and allowed for a relaxing stay. However, I noticed that the window glass was slightly dirty this time, which bothered me a little.

    The front desk staff provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like coming home. The view from the room is always soothing, no matter how many times I stay. I also love the cozy lounge! Looking forward to staying again.

    It was good, but...

    Stayed in the Upper Floor Club Corner King Room from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd with my wife and 2-year-old son for the Expo visit. Located on the upper floors of Abeno Harukas Building, it offers convenient access from Shin-Osaka and direct elevator access to Kintetsu Department Store. While slightly distant from the Expo venue, we chose this accommodation due to its variety of entertainment options beyond just visiting the Expo. The view from our high-floor room was spectacular, making a trip to an observation deck unnecessary. The amenities and facilities were well-equipped, offering a luxurious experience incomparable to other accommodations like Miyako Hotel Uehommachi. While there were no major complaints, a few points stood out: Firstly, car access is quite inconvenient as entering parking requires a right turn followed by a U-turn, which adds extra distance when using taxis. Additionally, since there are several floors between the car drop-off area and reception desk, it felt slightly disconnected. Perhaps allowing Club Floor guests to check-in at the lounge could be considered? Understandably it's busy during this period but worth exploring. Regarding breakfast arrangements: limiting breakfast service exclusively to the Club Lounge may not be ideal as lounges are not primarily designed for dining purposes. Compared with buffet menus in dedicated venues, options felt limited—especially noticeable during multiple night stays where variety becomes important. Offering guests an option between lounge or buffet-style breakfast might enhance satisfaction; some hotels already implement such systems successfully. That said, we appreciated how quiet and queue-free dining was in the lounge itself—a definite advantage! The presentation at your lounge was excellent overall. Lastly but importantly—thank you for promptly accommodating requests like providing a diaper disposal bin for our toddler; these thoughtful touches made our stay very satisfying. We would love to return as a family if visiting Osaka again!

    An Unforgettable Bathing Experience

    There is no large public bath, so you will use the bathroom in your Room. The bathtub in the Room has a soft bottom—not because of a cushion sheet, but because the entire tub is made of a soft material. It feels very pleasant. The staff at the front desk and lounge are numerous and all very friendly.

    Amazing view!

    My daughter planned this trip to celebrate my 60th birthday. The view from the high floor was excellent. However, it was a bit disappointing that the sunset could not be seen from the room. If staying here, I would recommend choosing a west-facing or north-facing room. Next time, I would like to specify the room when making a reservation. I used the club lounge, which had a calm atmosphere and felt no different from those in Tokyo. I look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

    The view was excellent, and the lounge was great.

    Stayed in a corner room on the 53rd floor. I was unsure whether to book through IKYU or Marriott Bonvoy, but since I had no particular upgrade requests, I chose IKYU. The view was outstanding, and the night scenery was spectacular. Enjoyed drinks in the room while admiring the twinkling lights of Osaka Bay. The lounge exceeded expectations in both quality and quantity. Amenities were also excellent. Would definitely love to stay at this hotel again if given the chance.

    The view makes everything worthwhile.

    Great location near the station and stunning views! The lounge's sweets and dishes were also very satisfying. However, I must say that the inconsistency in customer service is disappointing. Having stayed at other Marriott properties before, I've noticed a trend of somewhat impersonal service within the chain. Especially at reception. (The front desk staff were pleasant.) There was a lack of smiles and an assembly-line approach to handling guests. Two staff members assisted during luggage storage and check-in, both with similar attitudes. There was insufficient guidance about check-in when leaving our luggage, and we almost missed out on afternoon tea because we weren't informed about it beforehand. As a prominent Hotel representing Osaka, please strive for attentive and thoughtful service. One staff member seemed to be training another—however, conducting noticeable training in front of guests is not ideal. Additionally, the person replenishing food in the lounge appeared unfriendly. Regarding turndown service—does it not include tidying up linens? It felt incomplete. That said, it's not all negative! Spending time at the bar enjoying live music or simply relaxing in my Room while admiring the view made me forget some of these issues (though they shouldn't be overlooked). This Hotel has many great aspects; it's unfortunate that certain individuals' actions can impact its overall impression negatively. I look forward to staying again in hopes of seeing improvements by then!

    The view is excellent.

    Stayed at the hotel for a dining event. I stay about once a year recently, and the view is always stunning, making it very satisfying. The food was also delicious. The only downside was that the room's TV was not a smart TV. Since I don't watch terrestrial, BS, or CS channels, it was disappointing not to be able to access the internet. Other than that, everything was perfect. I will use this accommodation again. Thank you very much for this time!

    The view is stunning!

    Stayed on the 50th floor, north side. The view was amazing, and the night scenery too! It was an extraordinary experience that I could watch forever. Thanks to all the staff and café team for their kindness and making my stay so comfortable. I’m glad I could finally fulfill my mother’s wish to stay at Marriott and visit Harukas. Thank you very much!

    For our second stay,...

    For our second stay, we chose accommodation with a club lounge. We enjoyed the afternoon tea time and cocktail time and were very satisfied. Although it was disappointing that there were no sandwiches or light snacks during the afternoon tea time, everything was delicious, and it seems the club lounge will be a must for our next stay as well.

    Excellent service!

    This time, we brought in food to celebrate in the Room, and the staff kindly warmed it to the perfect temperature and delivered it to our Room. The night view from the Room was stunning, and we had an unforgettable evening. We look forward to staying again when we have another opportunity. The cake in the photo was purchased at the Hotel for our second celebration on the following day. It was delicious!

    A Hotel surrounded by the best night view in Osaka.

    Last year during the Obon holiday, I stayed at the Hotel with my grandchildren and had a wonderful experience. This time, to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday, I decided to stay longer and chose the Upper Floor Club Corner Twin Room. Corner Rooms in any Hotel are always fantastic, but the night view from Marriott Osaka truly surpasses all others. From the bathroom as well, you can enjoy a stunning night view while experiencing a serene moment of peace. The Club Lounge was busy but the staff were kind and attentive, offering delicious light meals and drinks. Although it has been about 11 years since its opening, the Room was impeccably clean with not a single stain on the carpet. I am grateful for such a comfortable stay. Thank you very much!

    Only one complaint.

    It was a rainy day, but I was glad to be able to enter the Hotel from the subway without getting wet. The Room and the view were excellent and very comfortable, but there was one issue—the conditioner in the bathroom was almost empty. Since it was already midnight and I was soaking wet, I ended up pressing the pump repeatedly to get just a tiny bit of conditioner. Everything else was perfect, which made this one flaw stand out even more. I learned that amenities should always be checked for remaining amounts!

    The view from the Room is excellent.

    The Room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled smoky as soon as I entered. I considered asking for a room change, but my schedule was tight, so I stayed in the same Room. Fortunately, there was an air purifier provided, and after keeping it running while I was out, the smell became unnoticeable. At check-in, the staff assisting the guest next to me gave a detailed explanation about the morning newspaper service; however, my attendant simply asked, "Do you read the morning paper?" which felt somewhat impolite. Overall, an average Hotel experience—neither particularly good nor bad.

    Before you know it

    The initial nervousness about the height disappeared, and I enjoyed the view. The strawberry smoothie at the 19th-floor lounge had a refreshing strawberry milk flavor and was delicious.

During the day, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Osaka's cityscape, while at night, the enchanting night view is mesmerizing. The luxury of enjoying the night view while lying in bed was unparalleled. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. - Grateful for Thoughtful Staff When I informed them that it was a trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary and birthday, the staff warmly welcomed us. Their smooth check-in process and efforts to create a special atmosphere suitable for such an occasion left a lasting impression. The high level of hospitality truly stood out. - Indulgent Breakfast at Live Kitchen "COOKA" Breakfast was served at "COOKA," one of the hotel's restaurants located on a high floor with an open space where you can enjoy morning sunlight along with views of Osaka. It featured buffet-style dining with freshly prepared dishes unique to live kitchens as its highlight. The omelets were cooked right in front of us by chefs who allowed us to choose our preferred ingredients—fluffy and delicious! For those who prefer Japanese cuisine, there were plenty of options like miso soup, freshly cooked rice, grilled fish, and Kyoto pickles available too!     A long-awaited stay

    Stayed for the first time in 3 years? I have used this accommodation more than 10 times. The stunning night view, the staff's excellent service at check-in, the hospitality of other staff members, and the cleanliness of the room—everything is perfect. This time, I was assigned to the south side after a long time, and even the night view felt fresh. However, if I were to nitpick about this otherwise perfect hotel... The TV is outdated. Isn't smart TV standard nowadays? For those who don't watch TV, it might not matter much, but that's my only disappointment.

    I always feel relaxed.

    I have been visiting the Marriott Miyako Hotel since it opened. I don't usually eat much fruit, but in the club lounge, it's cut and easy to eat, so I always enjoy plenty. The Room is clean, and I love the bath; it helps me relax. I'm always very grateful for the staff's assistance. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

    We visited for my daughter's birthday. We stayed with lounge access, enjoyed our favorite drinks during cocktail time, and had a very relaxing stay as we could spend leisurely time in the lounge for both nights. The location is also convenient for sightseeing and shopping, making transportation very easy. I would love to stay again.

    The second rewarding Hotel life I visited 2 and a half years ago and stayed on the 55th floor facing north. This time, I stayed on the 55th floor facing south. Both views were amazing. Next time, I would like to stay in a corner room. The lounge was also very nice.

    Please experience it at least once.

    If you go and experience it, you will find the cost, content (meals, facilities, scenery, convenience), etc., to be satisfactory. I was familiar with the old Tennoji and Abeno areas, so I was surprised by their transformation into a novel city and found it deeply thought-provoking.

    The third time at Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel

    Last time, I stayed in a Room on the 55th floor, and this time it was a Japanese-style space on the lounge floor. The Room on the comfort floor was bright with wooden flooring, making it feel like home and very relaxing. I felt there were slight changes in the lounge offerings. Having a club lounge made a big difference in satisfaction for a stay-in experience. This time, I enjoyed bar time by making cocktails. I would like to revisit when there are changes in the lounge offerings again.

    If you are staying in Osaka

    Limited to Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel. Last time I stayed, I could only stay for one night, so this time, since I'm on a business trip for two nights, I definitely wanted the club floor and made a reservation. Unfortunately, due to my mistake, I made an error with the breakfast reservation. However, I was able to enjoy the breakfast buffet using the club floor breakfast and diamond benefit discount voucher. The bellboys were very kind and it made me happy. The ReFa shower head in the bath is also good! Since I'm not fond of going out much, having a department store below the hotel where everything can be taken care of is also attractive. I definitely want to choose Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel again if it's Osaka next time as well. Thank you for taking care of me for three days and two nights.

    A luxury sky-high Hotel representing Osaka

    I travel to Osaka on business very often, and I finally stayed here at the perfect time when the rates dropped. I’m a Marriott Bonvoy Gold member, but this time I made my Reservation through IKYU because the IKYU Diamond member benefits were more generous. In the past, even if you didn’t book through Marriott’s official website within Asia, it felt like elite benefits still applied—but that no longer seems to be the case. The rules change frequently, so it can’t be helped. Still, booking via IKYU came with more perks, so I was glad I chose it. I stayed in a Superior Double Room. A room upgrade wasn’t applied, but the Room was more than high quality enough. It was on the 43rd floor; I had just stayed on the 39th floor at another hotel in Shizuoka recently, but this one has full glass windows throughout, so the view was truly outstanding. The lobby is also on an upper floor and feels luxurious—it almost feels like stepping into another world. In Osaka, I’ve stayed at all of Marriott’s top-tier properties—the Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and W—and they’re all excellent. But if I had to choose just one favorite, this would be it. For dinner as well, I ate at COOKA on the lobby level. Despite being such a gorgeous space, it was reasonably priced and very satisfying. Some may feel there are many part-time staff and that they don’t quite match this Facility’s atmosphere, but considering the location plus the food quality and pricing overall, it’s more than acceptable. Next time, I’d love to bring my family here.

    The facility was satisfactory, and the view was excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. However, there were several disappointing aspects regarding the staff's service. While it is understandable that many of them are young and lack experience, a simple smile would have been appreciated. I hope they aim for more pleasant customer service rather than just completing tasks.
