    To celebrate my mother’s birthday.

    I stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Our Room was close to the elevator, which was greatly appreciated since my mother is not very mobile. The view from the Room was wonderful and instantly eased our sightseeing fatigue. The club lounge was relatively quiet and comfortable, and we were very satisfied with the wide selection of items at afternoon tea and cocktail time. The night view from the Room was breathtaking, and we enjoyed it for a long time. We were happy to have bath salts, which allowed us to relax properly. Breakfast was also delicious, and we ate plenty. Thanks to the great weather as well, we were able to enjoy the scenery in perfect conditions. Thank you for the surprise too!

    Just by staying at the Hotel

    They kindly showed me to my Room before check-in. After a hectic morning—traffic to the airport, a flight delay, then more traffic to the Hotel—I ran out of time and had given up on sightseeing in Osaka. However, after checking in at the Hotel, I visited the Abeno Harukas Observatory and had such a fulfilling time that I can honestly say I completed all my Osaka sightseeing there. For dinner, I used the buffet inside the Hotel, and I was very satisfied with both the view and the food. The bed mattress and pillows in the Room were also perfect—100 out of 100—and all my fatigue disappeared. I was traveling with my sister, and we even talked on our return flight about wanting to know the brand of the mattress and pillows. This time, my mother passed away at age 90 on New Year’s Day, and after completing her interment we planned this trip as a way to unwind. Even though our stay was short, thank you for allowing us to relax. It also happened to be my birthday month, so receiving a gift and card truly warmed my heart. If I have another chance to visit Osaka, I would love to stay again.

    Please don’t expect too much.

    I had high expectations, so it was disappointing. I’ve stayed at many domestic Hotels and expected this level of service based on the price and reputation, but first, check-in was slow. I had a suite Reservation and wanted to get in early. The lounge food is not replenished—once it’s gone, that’s it. When we went near the end, there was nothing left to eat. There is no TV streaming service. These days many Hotels offer Netflix and similar services, but when I asked the front desk, they told me to use my personal account. The Reviews were very positive, so we chose this Hotel for a family trip to celebrate my daughter, but I realized you also need to consider negative Reviews. Looking at the negative Reviews now, they were exactly right.

    I was completely satisfied with everything.

    Although I arrived after 7:00 PM, the staff welcomed me warmly. The Room was clean, and I was very satisfied. Sleeping while gazing at the sparkling city lights at night from the 42nd floor was truly unforgettable.

    Enjoy the Club Lounge

    I stayed here because there was a great Plan that included access to the club lounge. I also stayed last month and was so satisfied that I made another Reservation this month. At afternoon tea, I enjoyed delicious desserts and fruit, and at cocktail time, I thoroughly enjoyed salads, crab rice, spring rolls, and other snacks. The staff were also very attentive, and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to stay again.

    A sprawling metropolis seen from above through the first winter rain clouds.

    From Tennoji’s South Exit, you can cross the covered pedestrian bridge and take the elevator to the Hotel, allowing access without an umbrella. You can enjoy sweeping views from anywhere in the Hotel. Depending on check-in/check-out timing, there may be a line at the front desk. The staff are polite and efficient. A young staff member who escorted me to my Room removed their shoes at the entrance before entering, explained everything clearly, and even opened the curtains to kindly point out landmarks in the city below. Both the sunset and night views are beautiful. When it started raining, everything outside turned pure white under thick clouds; as it eased up, the clouds thinned and I could see the city through gaps below. Even if you can’t get a Reservation at a Hotel restaurant, there’s a dining area on lower floors and deli shops in the department store basement, and there is also a convenience store in the building. The Room was clean and the bed was large. The panoramic-view bath is very large (about 1.5 m), but it isn’t deep enough to soak up to your shoulders; it fills up in about 10 minutes. The view alone makes it worth staying here, and with such excellent staff manners, it’s a very pleasant stay.

    Unfortunately.

    I am a Diamond member. I was informed that the ¥3,000 in-house voucher (per stay, per room) has already ended. Since other guests may also book for this reason, please remove it. This is disappointing, as I made the Reservation considering in-room dining using the voucher.

    Perfect.

    I stayed here for the first time because I had business in Osaka. As others have mentioned, the view was from a floor slightly below the top, but it was still amazing. Even more memorable was the wonderful service from the bell staff member who assisted me. She kindly answered my questions even though I wasn’t familiar with the area, and thanks to her I was able to get where I needed to go the next day and take care of my business without any trouble. Thank you very much. This is a place where you can truly feel genuine hospitality.

    Night View from the Sky Hotel

    This time, I didn’t have much time and my schedule was fixed, so I only stayed overnight, but the staff were kind and courteous, the amenities were well stocked, and I had a relaxing and comfortable stay. My Room was on the 44th floor, and the night view from the Hotel was beautiful and amazing. Since I came by car this time, I really appreciated that parking seemed to be free for Diamond members from the morning of check-in through the next day. The location is also great—it’s just a quick subway ride to Namba, Shinsaibashi, and Umeda—an excellent Hotel with nothing to complain about. I’d like to stay again.

    I stayed here for my mother’s birthday.

    Since it was Abeno Harukas, we chose a high-floor corner Room with wide windows. Luckily, the weather was great, so we were able to fully enjoy both the stunning daytime views and the beautiful night scenery. We could clearly see Osaka Castle, Kyocera Dome, Tsutenkaku, and even the ridgeline of Mt. Rokko in Hyogo, so we truly enjoyed staying on a high floor. My elderly mother doesn’t eat much, but she was satisfied with the light snacks and drinks in the lounge, and the bed was very comfortable so we were able to rest well. The bathroom also had a chair (bath chair?), which made it easy to wash. Also, access from the station is incredibly convenient, so when there’s an event in Osaka, we’d like to stay here again.

    View from the Upper Floors

    Check-in was around 17:30 and went smoothly without any waiting. We stayed in a King Room on the 52nd floor, and the breathtaking view was truly stress-relieving! Ordered mocktails at the bar, and we enjoyed a lively conversation while admiring the view of Tsutenkaku Tower. The shower pressure was excellent, and the scent of the shampoo and other amenities made bath time very satisfying. I would love to stay here again!

    A heavenly Hotel that leaves a lasting impression even after check-out.

    Thank you for your assistance with the order I placed over the phone the other day. The male staff member who brought it to my room was incredibly thoughtful and truly helpful. Additionally, the room service meals were exceptionally delicious, and I look forward to enjoying another meal through room service next time. What impressed me most was how remarkably smooth both check-in and check-out were. Having stayed at numerous hotels before, I was amazed at how well-prepared everything was—it went so seamlessly that I can only express my gratitude. The room offered a breathtaking view, and it was an outstanding hotel overall. It was clean and very comfortable to stay in. I definitely want to visit again!

    Dynamic Views and a Wonderful Club Lounge Hotel

    Last November, after the busy New Year period settled down, I planned a two-night hotel stay around mid-January and decided on Osaka. At that time, a limited-time offer for a Superior Room with Club Lounge access was listed on IKYU.com. Having stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed the Club Lounge, I felt lucky to make the reservation at just the right moment. I enjoy solo travel and have stayed at various hotels in Tokyo and Osaka. Finding a hotel that perfectly matches my ideal is challenging, so I choose based on what aspects of each hotel appeal to me. During my previous stay, there was an issue with the speaker integrated into the desk clock—it kept stopping intermittently. I had to call staff multiple times for assistance, which led me to bring my own speaker this time as a solution. In preparation for this trip, I exchanged emails with the accommodation reservation staff. They kindly reviewed my previous stay history and arranged for me to have a high-floor room with sparkling night views from the north side—something I truly appreciated as it’s one of my preferences. The Club Lounge at this hotel features high ceilings and spacious areas where you can relax comfortably. The food and drink offerings are abundant, especially their delicious desserts! During this visit as well, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves leisurely. I particularly love how freely relaxing it feels in their Club Lounge—it’s one of my favorites. The hotel's convenient access via limousine bus from Itami Airport and its direct elevator connection to department stores make it an excellent choice. Thank you very much to the accommodation reservation staff!

    I use it several times a year.

    I enjoy spending the whole day relaxing in the lounge, indulging in an extraordinary experience without going anywhere. It’s a bit inconvenient that there is only one face towel in the Room, but overall, I am quite satisfied. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

    Just like last year, combine it with a New Year's shrine visit.

    It's enjoyable to walk to Shitennoji Temple after breakfast. Last year, I waited an hour to check in, but this year it was smooth. I was looking forward to CUKA's breakfast, but it felt catered more towards international tastes. Late check-out and parking were available until 15:00, allowing me to shop at the department store and leisurely enjoy Abeno. The staff's attention to detail made for a pleasant stay. However, it's disappointing that the soap and shampoo are on par with those of a Business Hotel.

    I was a bit disappointed.

    Stayed for our wedding anniversary. We usually stay at Nakanobo ○○ in Arima Onsen for our anniversary, but this time we decided to try this Hotel. Due to a mistake, the Room we thought was a Deluxe Twin turned out to be a standard Twin. We paid an additional 2,000 yen to switch to the Deluxe Twin, but honestly, the standard Twin was better. The reason is that the window direction in the Deluxe room was poor and the night view was dark—very disappointing. We stayed on the 53rd floor with Club Lounge access included, but it wasn’t as expected. After watching YouTube videos about Hotel dining, I had high hopes for delicious food; however, it was just average. The variety of dishes was limited; perhaps those who drink alcohol might find enough snacks available and enjoy it more. In our Room: The air purifier wasn’t working; one of the downlights didn’t turn on; and when using the shower in the bathroom, its floor became slippery—this felt unpleasant. The water smelled strongly of chlorine and made my skin rough after just one bath (making no use of having a view bath). As an IKYU Diamond Member, I received free drink tickets for use on the 19th floor lounge—but despite all seats being empty at that time marked as reserved—we were seated at an unappealing corner table with no view whatsoever meant for two people only! This upset me greatly—it ruined my mood entirely. Since my company uses this Hotel often during conferences/events—they asked me how staying here felt—and unfortunately—I couldn’t recommend them doing so anymore compared against other options like Amagasaki’s Miyako Hotels where service quality remains far superior even though pricing there costs less comparatively!     Unbelievable

    I stayed for 2 nights during the New Year. When I arrived late at check-in, I requested that my family check in first, but it was declined. I had no choice but to email the hotel to request room access, but they said it was not possible without verifying my identity. As a result, my family could not enter the room until I arrived. Eventually, after showing my ID and the reservation details on IKYU.com to confirm the reservation, we were finally allowed to enter. By the way, I am a Japanese citizen of Japanese nationality. This was my first time experiencing such an issue and I was very surprised.

    The staff service was satisfactory.

    I visit every year-end. This year, I enjoyed the sunset and night views from the room as well. It seemed that more people used the Club Lounge this year. Compared to previous years, I felt it was less relaxing. When compared to other Hotel Club Lounges, it felt a bit too casual, which was slightly disappointing. If possible, I would appreciate an upgrade in the quality of the Club Lounge. The service provided by all staff at the bell desk, front desk, and Club Lounge was satisfactory.

    The view was excellent, as expected from a high-rise building.

    During the check-in process, I was informed that the final check of my Room was being conducted and asked to wait for about 10 minutes. However, I was never called, and while others were promptly guided to their Rooms after completing their procedures, I ended up waiting at the front desk for about an hour. I wanted to leisurely enjoy afternoon tea in the club lounge, so if it takes that long, guests should be directed to the lounge instead of being made to wait at the front desk. Other than this issue, everything else was satisfactory.

    Elevator transfers a...

    Elevator transfers are inconvenient; at least two types would be better. A chair at the washstand would be appreciated as it’s inconvenient for women to do makeup. For breakfast, I prefer a hearty meal with meat dishes and rice options like curry. Staying in the connect room on the 51st floor allowed for good interaction with members. The view was great, and the Room was clean and nice.

    The view is amazing!

    I stayed on the 52nd floor, almost at the same height as the observation deck. At one point, I noticed that the height was the same as a plane flying outside, and it made me realize just how high up I was! Honestly, I didn’t feel the need to go up to the observation deck. The view from my room was absolutely stunning. I even decided to skip visiting Osaka Castle and relaxed at the hotel instead (since I could see it clearly from my room and felt like I'd already been there). All amenities were uniquely designed by the hotel with great attention to detail, and all staff members were highly motivated, making for a very satisfying stay. I would love to stay here again.     The Iconic Marriott!

    I had the opportunity to stay at the Marriott I’ve always dreamed of! I stayed for 2 nights. At check-in, I received 2 breakfast tickets, so I initially thought it was one ticket per room per night, but it turned out to be one ticket per person. (When I received the tickets and thought "huh?", I should have asked then.) At breakfast reception, they informed me about this, and later I went back to the check-in counter to pick up additional tickets. (It would have been nice if they could bring them to me.) The Room was clean! The night view from the Room was also beautiful! Having a completely separate toilet was a plus as well. One disappointing point was the seating arrangement during breakfast. Both days, we went around 7:30 AM when it wasn’t crowded, but we were seated next to an already occupied table. Shortly after that, other guests were seated at a table on our other side as well. During less busy times like this, it would have been nice to eat without neighbors on both sides. Since it was year-end and there were many families staying at the Hotel, I wanted to enjoy my meal quietly while appreciating the view. I found out after checking out that gelato could only be eaten in-room or outside of the Hotel; next time I'll plan on enjoying it in my Room. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this Hotel!

    The Skyscraper View Ruined by the Club Lounge

    I often stay to enjoy the view from the high floors of the club floor, and while breakfast is satisfactory, the aperitifs served during cocktail time in the lounge referred to as "The Dining Room of a Residence" are unfortunately not very enjoyable. Perhaps due to cancellations by visiting guests from China, cocktail time tends to be quite quiet. Would it be possible to consider changing the supervision for aperitif offerings?

    Satisfaction Beyond the Price

    During a previous stay on the Club Floor, it happened to be a busy period, and the lounge was crowded, making it less relaxing. This time, I chose a Junior Suite on the Regular Floor to enjoy a more peaceful stay in the room. Since there are fewer tall buildings around Tennoji compared to Kita, I could still fully enjoy the view even without staying on the Club Floor. From my room, I could see Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and enjoyed beautiful sunsets as well as nighttime views from the bath. The breakfast at Cooka was delicious, and combined with the attentive service from staff members, it made for an entirely pleasant stay.

    Room Guide After a Long Time

    Check-in took some time, but I was guided to the room (even though I had no luggage). When asked if I had any questions, I inquired whether the curtains were manual or electric. They replied they were manual and kindly opened them for me while explaining the view in detail. This was my second time staying here as I usually use different hotels in Osaka, and it felt very refreshing. When the TV audio unexpectedly switched to English, we called for assistance. My companion mentioned that they explained how to fix it over the phone and even offered to come by and resolve it if needed, though it might take some time. The amenities were sufficient (though environmentally speaking, reducing them might be better). However, unlike other hotels where pajamas are not initially provided anymore—which can be a bit disappointing—this hotel assured us that everything would be prepared next time since we registered during this stay. Overall, we had a relaxing experience. One thing to note is that restaurant reservations should be made early as preferred times fill up quickly—a lesson learned this visit!

    Today, my husband and I are staying at the accommodation, but the day after tomorrow, I will be staying with my sister. Checking in at night felt like a bit of a waste. The view from the high floor on the 54th floor is absolutely stunning—such an experience is rare and truly appreciated. I'm already excited for the day after tomorrow!
