    A Refined Stay

    As this was our first return visit in a while and also an anniversary, we stayed on the club floor. When I mentioned that our 1-year-old would be staying with us, the staff kindly prepared not only a baby cot but also a playpen, which truly impressed us. With such a spacious Room, both our child and we could relax comfortably without feeling cramped, and we once again experienced the hospitality of one of Japan’s finest Hotels. It’s clear this is a Hotel that thoughtfully anticipates what guests need to enjoy an even more refined stay—without having to ask. Compared with many other Hotel lounges, “The Capitol Lounge SaRyoh” may simply meet expectations, but both the food and drinks were consistently high quality, and we had a wonderful time. For breakfast we chose “ORIGAMI,” considering we were traveling with a young child, but next time I would love to enjoy breakfast at “The Capitol Lounge SaRyoh.” From both our Room and “The Capitol Lounge SaRyoh,” we could see the National Diet Building and the Prime Minister’s Official Residence—an experience that truly lets you feel you are in the heart of Japan. (It may have felt even more so as it happened to be during an election period.) Every time I stay here, I’m struck by how well designed the layout and furnishings are—everything is practical and exceptionally comfortable. We made full use of our Diamond member benefits for early check-in and late check-out. The music box gifted to us for our anniversary happened to play one of my favorite songs by coincidence. We will treasure it. The Diamond member sweets were also from a long-established confectioner, which spoke volumes about the Hotel’s excellent taste. I’m genuinely glad we chose to spend our anniversary at this Hotel. From Reservation through checkout, thank you sincerely for all your thoughtful care.

    Thank you for your support.

    I usually stay on club floors at Prince Hotels, or at the New Otani and Okura, but the service from the club floor staff at The Capitol Hotel—my first time staying there—was warm and outstanding. The gym and pool staff were also pleasant and made my time there enjoyable. Valet service was quick as well, so I was able to head home feeling great. I will definitely stay again.

    Wonderful Hotel

    There was nothing to complain about, and both the Room and the service were excellent—we were very satisfied. The food was delicious, and we were able to swim comfortably in the pool, making our stay truly fulfilling. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

    Your Annual Reward Hotel

    Every year during my birthday month, I stay here as a treat for myself and enjoy a relaxing time. Each year, the thoughtful hospitality and attentive service allow me to spend a truly luxurious stay. This is my favorite Hotel that recharges my energy and motivates me to work hard again. I look forward to staying again next year.

    From arrival to departure, every member of your staff was consistently flawless. We are truly grateful for the wonderfully fulfilling and relaxing time we had. Thank you very much. I could write the same thing every time, but this time there is one matter I would like to mention. This is in no way your hotel’s fault, so please do not take offense. At breakfast at ORIGAMI, when we arrived, a foreign male guest was complaining to a female staff member at the reception desk. From what I could hear, he was unhappy about having to wait and kept insisting on why he couldn’t eat in the lounge area near the entrance. No matter how much she explained, he refused to back down, and those of us behind him were left waiting with nothing we could do. It went nowhere, and eventually a manager came over as well; the manager explained firmly, but he still would not accept it. After some time—perhaps his turn finally came—he was shown inside. What a relief. When it became our turn and we were taken to our table, unfortunately we were seated right next to that same disruptive guest. For a while nothing happened, but then he started complaining again—this time that the air conditioning was too cold—even though he had come in wearing only a short-sleeved T-shirt in this season. Watching all of this made me feel how difficult things must be for your staff; at the same time, it also made me sad because I had never encountered such an unpleasant situation at your hotel before. With the current situation where it feels “almost taken over” by foreign guests—which may be very welcome from a business perspective—together with what happened with Chinese guests on our previous visit (I believe), at least for me it feels uncomfortable. Many people wear strong fragrances as well, which can be overwhelming. I know it may be unrealistic, but I can’t help wishing there were spaces reserved for Japanese guests only. Perhaps this is simply how things are going in today’s world: either accept it—or if you don’t like it, don’t come. I’m sorry for venting this time. Again, none of this is your hotel’s fault; if my comments have caused any discomfort, please forgive me. Finally, I wish you continued success and look forward to staying with you again in the future.

    First stay in four years

    It has been quite a while since so many new hotels opened in Tokyo, but once again you kindly arranged a Room next to the lounge for my husband, who has difficulty walking, and took great care of us with Diamond member benefits as well. I sincerely appreciate it. Seeing the experienced male staff member who previously showed us such thoughtful consideration at breakfast at ORIGAMI, and the woman who helped us at the pool, made me feel like we had come home—and we were able to stay completely stress-free. The lobby and restaurants are lively with inbound travelers, but both the lounge and the pool remain uncrowded and very comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone who simply wants to relax. The lounge food is still plentiful (this time, the hot item during cocktail time was lobster). The dessert cakes were delicious too, and there was so much that we couldn’t even make it to a restaurant for dinner. There have been some changes in what’s offered due to the weak yen and rising prices, but everything is covered by outstanding staff support—this is a Hotel I definitely want to return to.

    We were very satisfied with the warm hospitality.

    I stayed on the Club Floor for three nights. I love club lounges and have tried many Hotels, but this one was by far the best. They carefully poured champagne for me, and in the evening, as a “hot dish,” they even served abalone steak. The black cod in the Japanese breakfast set was also excellent. The food is wonderful, but what stands out most is their hospitality. There are plenty of staff members who are always attentive, and they are both refined and genuinely warm. In a way, they maintain—at a very high level—the true strengths of Japanese Hotels that seem to be fading away. With rising prices and labor shortages, I imagine it is extremely difficult to keep standards this high, but I hope they continue. With that in mind, I’ve decided to make this my regular Accommodation in Tokyo from now on. I was truly satisfied with the hospitality—thank you very much.

    The best club lounge.

    SaRyoh is one of the places I visit to enjoy an escape from everyday life. I sincerely appreciate all the staff for their thoughtful, personal service. I hope the orangettes and mendiants will be offered again.

    I’m glad I was able to relax and take it easy.

    We stayed as two women, and the Room was lovely and clean, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time. It would have been even better if there were a few more power outlets around the vanity area.

    The Capitol Hotel Tokyu

    I visited again after about six months and felt a subtle difference compared with last time. It’s hard to put into words, but it seemed to me that the staff’s level of enthusiasm toward guests had declined. While it can’t be helped that prices have risen so much that it makes you hesitate to stay, it is disappointing that services and amenities have been simplified in contrast. The turndown service has also been scaled back—no, rather than “scaled back,” I was surprised and disappointed at how it had changed to the point where it could be described as “gone.” This made me understand why the Review rating on IKYU has been dropping recently, and I feel those Reviews on IKYU are quite reliable. While staff motivation depends on each individual, I think many of the issues come down to the Hotel management’s approach. It is originally a wonderful Hotel, so I am considering staying again next time with high expectations. Suiren was excellent in every way and had evolved so much that I was genuinely moved.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    We stayed one night on the club floor for my husband’s birthday last year, and we had been hoping to stay two nights this year, so we were very happy that our wish came true. The view from the Room and the lounge was wonderful, and relaxing by the window with champagne and wine made us feel truly at ease, allowing us to unwind during our precious time off. The lounge staff greeted us with warm smiles and were very pleasant. My husband was also satisfied and said it was a great birthday. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

    We had a wonderful stay.

    I stayed the night after my birthday, and I was truly delighted to find a Hotel-original music box and a message card. Thank you very much. To match turndown time, I had origami pancakes, took a walk around the Hotel, then returned to my Room and had pork rib noodles via room service. After enjoying two of the Hotel’s specialties, I soaked in the spacious bath and went to sleep while admiring the night view. The next morning, I had a Japanese breakfast in my Room. Even though it was only about 2–3 minutes past the reserved time, the server said twice, “I’m sorry for being late,” which made me feel they were very conscientious. The breakfast was delicious. The strict security at the Prime Minister’s Office and what sounded like activists’ loud voices directed toward it created a sense of tension, making it a valuable experience as I enjoyed the wonderful view.

    I had some business ...

    I had some business in Tokyo and decided to stay one night, so I made a Reservation at this Hotel on the day. We stayed here with my family at the end of the year and it was excellent, and this time I chose it because I wanted to try the Japanese breakfast that I couldn’t have last time. The Japanese breakfast was delicious, everything was high quality, and I was able to relax. Thank you very much.

    Enjoy the Club Lounge all day

    My wife wanted a Hotel, so this time we splurged a little more than usual and made a Reservation for a Junior Suite with Club Lounge access, and we came by car. I didn’t realize the Diamond member benefits, but they kindly accommodated early check-in (we could enter the Room at 13:30) and late check-out (13:00). Since we wanted to have lunch nearby, they also allowed us to use the parking lot free of charge until after 14:00. We used the Club Lounge for afternoon service, dinner, and breakfast. I could enjoy drinks and relax all day—it was perfect. My wife is usually quite picky and often says there’s nothing she wants to eat in club lounges, but this time she was satisfied. The Room was spacious with a great view, and we were able to enjoy a real vacation feeling for the first time in a while. The only disappointment was that the jacuzzi Facility was unavailable that day. Next time, I’m considering using the Club Lounge again, and I’d like to try the Japanese restaurant on the first floor that we didn’t visit this time.

    Every time I stay, I...

    Every time I stay, I’m reminded that all the Hotel staff always greet me with a smile. From the valet service upon arrival to our conversation on the way to SaRyoh. The concierge’s accurate and attentive assistance. And the warm greetings whenever I visit SaRyoh. Their thoughtfulness goes beyond hospitality—they offer solutions before I even have a chance to be troubled. I am especially grateful to T for always doing everything possible to ensure I have a comfortable stay each time. Words cannot fully express my appreciation for the conversations and suggestions T has kindly given me. Thank you very much. When we meet again next time, please let me hear the rest of our usual conversation. I’m looking forward to it. It seems the cold weather will continue for a while longer.     I’m glad I was able to stay here.

    Early check-in, delicious food in Hoshigaoka, excellent service from the staff, a clean Room with a great view, delicious food at Suiren, excellent service from the staff, and the French toast at Origami was also delicious. The wonderful service from all the staff made for an outstanding stay. Thank you very much.

    The Perfect Stay for Your Special Anniversary

    We stayed to celebrate our wedding anniversary and a birthday. They also accommodated Diamond member benefits such as early check-in and late check-out, so we were able to enjoy a longer stay. The staff member who assisted" us at check-in was extremely courteous, which raised our expectations even more. In the Room, there were sweets as a Diamond member benefit, and the Hotel had prepared a commemorative music box for us. At the lounge, we even received an anniversary celebration plate; everyone was so kind that it became an outstanding stay. We have stayed at several Hotels with lounge access before, but this one is the best. Without going anywhere else, we fully enjoyed our time at the Hotel. The only disappointing point was breakfast at ORIGAMI. The table where the dishes were laid out wasn’t stylish, and I was disappointed by the atmosphere as well. They also didn’t offer coffee refills unless we asked. At the Imperial Hotel where we stayed the day before, even with a similar buffet style they checked in before our cups were empty. For that reason, I rated “Hospitality & Service” minus 1. We chose the buffet because we wanted salad, but there weren’t many options and the taste wasn’t to our liking. We slightly regretted not choosing Japanese breakfast or having breakfast in"the lounge. Even so, everything else—such as the Room and lounge,"the service outside of ORIGAMI,"and facilities like"the pool—was wonderful,"so we'd like to stay again."

    Very satisfied again.

    I stayed on a great-value Plan exclusive to Diamond members. My friend, who was visiting The Capitol Hotel for the first time, thoroughly enjoyed the stay and seemed very satisfied. From the Akasaka Shiono Japanese sweets and matcha, along with champagne at check-in, to the hojicha and banana bread at check-out, we also enjoyed the lounge. Being able to look down on the National Diet Building and the Prime Minister’s Official Residence is something unique to this Hotel. We could feel thoughtful attention from every staff member. We will definitely return.

    A cozy Hotel

    It was a long time since our last stay, but once again, the Club Lounge staff remembered our favorite juice and promptly brought it to our table. Their attentiveness is always impressive. Spending time in the Room or Club Lounge while enjoying views of the National Diet Building and Prime Minister's Office is truly exceptional. We used the pool twice and felt refreshed. For breakfast, we always enjoy ORIGAMI's Japanese cuisine, which is not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. Once again, we were comforted by the warm hospitality of all the Club Lounge staff. Thank you very much for taking care of us so well. We would love to stay here again!

    The services were perfect. However, I was a bit disappointed with the comb provided in the room. It tangled in my fine hair and hurt (ouch). A plastic brush would have been better.

    I stayed for a Multi...

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay over the weekend and holidays. Even though it was an extremely busy time, the valet service and staff always greeted me with a smile. I heard that SaRyoh was as crowded as during the year-end and New Year holidays, but I never felt uncomfortable at all. I am always grateful for the exceptional service provided by SaRyoh's staff. Tokyo is undoubtedly a mature luxury hotel market, yet every stay here exceeds my expectations in remarkable ways. It feels as if ethnography has been seamlessly integrated into their business approach—whether at SaRyoh, the front desk, or room service. They consistently understand and cater to guests' needs with great care. For both mornings of my stay, I opted for room service breakfast instead of dining out. There is one male staff member who frequently delivers breakfast; his table setting skills and demeanor are impeccable—truly admirable! When he serves breakfast, it somehow makes the delicious meal taste even better. This time, I purchased some items from Hoshigaoka as souvenirs. The SaRyoh staff who assisted me not only understood my request but exceeded my expectations with their response—it was both surprising and delightful! As it involved an allergy concern, their attentiveness gave me great peace of mind. Thank you so much for everything!

    Pleasant Service

    From the entrance to the reception, porter, fitness center, and restaurant, all staff greetings and service were pleasant. It had been a while since my last visit, but I was able to relax completely and felt glad to have chosen The Capitol Hotel Tokyu.

    For Your Next Visit

    I had a really great time again. However, I would like to mention three points that were a bit disappointing and hope for improvement. 1st Point: I entrusted my scarf and jacket along with my luggage, and they were placed in the Room. However, the scarf was placed directly on the suitcase storage area. Since this is a place where not-so-clean items like tires are placed, it was honestly unpleasant to see something that covers around the face being put there. I think more care should be taken in such cases. 2nd Point: There were noticeable fingerprints on the magnifying mirror. Because everything else was cleaned so well, it stood out even more. 3rd Point: I requested a newspaper but did not receive it. While it wasn’t something I absolutely needed to read, it was still slightly disappointing. Despite these points, I had a very comfortable stay overall. Looking forward to staying again next time!

    Breakfast at the Club Lounge is highly recommended.

    I was able to make a Reservation for the Club Hollywood Twin on IKYU again and enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay after a long time. For breakfast, I usually had Japanese cuisine at ORIGAMI, but this time I used the Club Lounge. Although there were fewer options compared to ORIGAMI, the fish, rice, and miso soup were of high quality and served warm. The salad and yogurt were also fresh and very delicious. I was able to enjoy a relaxing morning. Thank you to all the staff. Previously, shoe sponges were provided in the Room, but it seems they are no longer available.

    I want to visit again.

    The service was excellent. The Room layout was convenient and easy to use. The bathtub felt slightly narrow, but the shower booth nearby was convenient to use. The bathroom floor drained well and was comfortable. I had high expectations, so I was a bit disappointed with the country of origin of the skincare amenities. For turndown service, pajamas were placed on the bed, which made it easy to notice. At another Hotel, they were placed in a drawer, and I missed using them because I didn’t notice—this approach is much better. I would love to visit again!

    We visit every New Year.

    A wonderful experience

    I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I chose this Hotel because I had plans in Tokyo, it was New Year, and I thought, "Why not stay at a nice Hotel?" I'm so glad I made this choice. First of all, the view of the National Diet Building from the Room was breathtaking as soon as I entered. At night, it was beautifully lit up. At the breakfast buffet, although we arrived around 9:50 AM (it ends at 10 AM), some items were already out of stock. However, a staff member noticed this and kindly brought freshly prepared dishes to our table—this thoughtful gesture made me very happy. On the second day, we enjoyed a Japanese-style breakfast which I highly recommend. It was visually stunning and each dish was incredibly delicious. One small issue: on the morning of the second day, an older staff member who took our order seemed slightly unfriendly or perhaps in a bad mood? It left a bit of an intimidating impression. That said, I believe this is just an individual case; overall, it’s truly an excellent Hotel. I definitely want to stay here again! Thank you for such a wonderful time!

    Comfortable Stay

    Thanks to the quiet period after New Year's, I was assigned a truly stunning Room with a view of the National Diet Building. Beyond the incredible view from the Room, I was deeply impressed by the elegance and professionalism of all Hotel staff across every department. It was also an opportunity to learn from their exemplary approach to guest interaction. Additionally, during my stay, I made several requests which were met with promptness and kind attention, for which I am very grateful. I would love to visit again in the future.
