    The atmosphere throughout the property and in the Room is wonderful.

    When arriving by car, the entrance felt a bit narrow, so I initially thought it was quite a small Hotel. However, once inside, a spacious lobby opened up like another world—almost as if I had time-traveled into the romantic Taisho era. Check-in was smooth and courteous, making for a very pleasant start. The Room was also spacious, and just like the lobby, it allowed me to relax as if I were back in the Taisho period. The public areas of the building and the Room felt seamlessly connected, creating a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The dinner we ordered with our stay was slightly disappointing. Despite being served quickly, some dishes were a bit lukewarm. Also, perhaps because we had eaten fresh seafood in Kanazawa beforehand, it felt somewhat lacking in freshness. I also wished there had been just a little more food. In contrast, breakfast was excellent—packed with great Kanazawa specialties. Nodoguro was of course wonderful, and the croquettes and fried chicken with tartar sauce were especially delicious. There is also a large communal Onsen bath inside the Hotel, and overall it was an extremely satisfying stay. Highly recommended.

    Optimal access to tourist attractions

    After researching various Accommodations, I chose this Hotel based on Reviews saying it offers excellent access to sightseeing spots. As expected, during our two-night, three-day stay—and with great weather—we were able to visit many places such as Kanazawa Castle, Omicho Market, Kenrokuen Garden, and the Higashi Chaya District. The Hotel and staff were wonderful, and the breakfast included local dishes and was delicious. If I have the chance to visit Kanazawa again, I would like to stay here again.

    I was able to relax.

    I stayed here recently. It’s close to Kenrokuen, and the Room interior is stylish, which I think will appeal to female guests. The bed mattress was an Airweave, and I slept very well. The bath was also an Onsen and felt wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful. However, since I’m sensitive to cold, I felt the bath water was a bit lukewarm and I wish the Room heating could have been warmer. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay again.

    Snowy Kanazawa

    This was my first stay, but the men’s bath was smaller than I expected and not very good. The snowy scenery at Kenrokuen Garden was amazing.

    Snow precautions

    The bath amenities were great, and there were plenty of towels, which was nice.\nHowever, the floor in the changing room was cold and my feet got chilled.\nAlso, the parking lot wasn’t cleared of snow and the slope felt dangerous, so I don’t think I can visit again on snowy days.

    We’ll be back.

    Our family decided on a last-minute trip to Kanazawa, and we were in a hurry to find a place to stay. We chose this Hotel because it has an Onsen. It’s not a large Hotel, but a long-established, quiet property with a calm atmosphere and an upscale feel. Everything was impeccably clean, and the staff were kind and professional—everyone was wonderful. The bed had an Airweave mattress and was so comfortable that my daughter could hardly get up (laugh). Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and we were very satisfied. After dinner, there was live violin and piano music in the lounge, which made for a truly elegant time. If I may mention one thing: I didn’t realize there were various types of shampoo in the public bath area, so I wasn’t sure whether it was okay to use them. Also, it was disappointing that ReFa products were only available for shampoo—I would have liked to try more since it was such a great opportunity. I was also looking forward to the sauna, but there wasn’t a washable mat; I didn’t want to sit directly on the towel laid out there, so I didn’t use it. (If there actually was a mat available somewhere, I apologize.) I was happy that ReFa hair dryers and Sekkisei amenities were provided in the public bath area. The thoughtful drink service also felt very considerate. Other than that, everything exceeded our expectations. The entire Hotel is filled with genuine hospitality, and if we stay in the city again, we would love to return. This was my second time in Kanazawa, and it has become one of my favorite places. I’d like to bring my parents here in winter—when we do, we hope to stay with you again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

    This was my second stay. This time, I only had breakfast. There was alcohol available at breakfast, but personally I would have liked beer as well. It may be difficult due to the location, but it would also be nice to have an open-air bath.

    We used it for a family trip.

    We stayed in two twin Rooms with a university student and a junior high school student. The Facility featured Kutani ware and stained glass throughout, creating a charming atmosphere despite not being new. For breakfast, while the junior high schooler might have preferred more Western options, the three adults were very satisfied with dishes like grilled nodoguro fish, jibuni stew, and Kanazawa curry. With checkout at noon, we took a morning stroll around Kanazawa Castle before returning to enjoy juice & cake, matcha & traditional sweets, and coffee & iced toast at Swan on the first floor (which delighted the junior high schooler). The bath was unforgettable—known as "Bijin no Yu" (Beauty Bath), it was truly relaxing. Ice cream was also offered as a complimentary service. Located right next to Kanazawa Castle, access to Kenrokuen Garden was excellent. The front desk staff provided exceptional service as well. Next time, we hope to try Kaga cuisine at Mahoroba restaurant too. Thank you very much!

    Stayed at the accomm...

    Stayed at the accommodation during a trip with friends. The lovely lobby, clean room, and delicious breakfast made it a very satisfying trip. I would love to stay here again if I visit Kanazawa.

    We enjoyed the dinner and the live piano performance.

    Thank you for your hospitality. Overall, we had a comfortable stay. The kaiseki dinner in particular was outstanding and truly delicious—compliments to the head chef. The restaurant staff also provided pleasant service. However, the front desk staff seemed rather stiff; we somehow felt a somewhat cold, businesslike attitude, and there wasn’t much sense of hospitality. It would have been nicer to be welcomed with a warmer, gentler smile. My wife said the women’s large public bath was spacious and very relaxing, but the men’s bath was not as large and felt fairly ordinary. Also, as others have mentioned in their Reviews, when walking down the corridors we noticed an occasional musty smell (like mildew), which slightly diminished the experience. That said, we were able to enjoy live piano music at night, which left us feeling very satisfied and made for a wonderful time. Thank you again for everything.

    A Hotel with a Classic, Timeless Atmosphere

    We stayed here for a family trip right after the New Year holidays. Compared with the Business Hotels I use for work trips, there are more staff and the service is more attentive. The lobby and the view from the guest Room windows have a charming, old-fashioned atmosphere. Having an Onsen is a big plus, but it is not very large and there is no open-air bath, which was disappointing (there is a sauna). The Room has been nicely renovated and Wi-Fi is free, but I felt you shouldn’t expect much of a view. It’s conveniently close to Higashi Chaya District, Kanazawa Castle Park / Kenrokuen Garden, and Omicho Market, but Korinbo and Katamachi are some distance away—so if you plan to drink out late, using taxis would be best.

    Would love to stay again.

    The hotel was old but well-maintained, the front desk service was excellent, the meals were delicious and satisfying, and the Onsen was very relaxing.

    I was very satisfied with this wonderful Hotel.

    The location is excellent, within walking distance to everywhere. Even the standard Room was spacious enough and came with drink services, making our stay very comfortable. As it was a trip to celebrate a 60th birthday, they kindly prepared a red celebratory vest for us. We were also delighted to receive a small gift from the Hotel. Above all, the staff's hospitality was outstanding. Thank you for taking care of us! We would love to stay again!

    Heartwarming hospitality

    As a returning guest, I chose to stay here again because of my previous pleasant experience. The vibrant stained-glass lobby and the chic, calming interior of the rooms create a welcoming atmosphere. Being able to visit the onsen in comfortable indoor wear combines the best aspects of both a ryokan and a hotel. The meals were lightly seasoned, delicious, and highlighted the quality of the ingredients. The staff's warm smiles and exceptional service stood out, including their prompt and thoughtful handling of forgotten items. This accommodation truly embodies hospitality and has become one of my most memorable stays.

    Everything about this accommodation was completely satisfying!

    A wonderful space from the entrance. The traditional crafts and stained glass made it feel like an art museum. The staff were polite, efficient, and very helpful. The hand-drawn illustrated map we received was incredibly useful. The breakfast was abundant and everything was delicious. The seating area was spacious and bright, with attention to detail even in the rice bowls, which lifted our spirits in the morning. The bath being an Onsen was very relaxing. The complimentary drinks and ice cream after bathing were a delightful touch—absolutely perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable. It had all the necessary facilities, leaving nothing to be desired. Receiving newspapers in both the morning and evening added a nice touch. Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle were nearby, surrounded by beautiful greenery. We enjoyed a refreshing early morning walk through paths dotted with sculptures around Kanazawa Castle Park. Staying here was truly wonderful! I would love to stay at this accommodation again!

    Ideal location for sightseeing

    This trip was for six women. We chose this Hotel because it offers rooms for three people, has an Onsen, serves local cuisine for breakfast, and is conveniently located for sightseeing. In these aspects, we were very satisfied. However, there were some disappointing points: the hallway smelled musty, the room walls were thin so we could hear our friends next door and their TV sounds, and there were no amenities like cotton swabs despite many places now offering more comprehensive amenities. The Onsen was great but the spacing between the shelves holding baskets in the changing room was narrow and a bit inconvenient to use. The Hotel kindly stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out, and we could use a limousine bus on our way back. Overall, it was a satisfying stay at this Hotel.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    The Hotel's lobby furnishings, as well as the tableware in the restaurant and Room, feature Kutani ware ceramics, which completely captivated me and turned me into a fan of Kutani ware. I was also very satisfied with the meals that included local cuisine. The elaborate dishes were incredibly delicious. There was live violin and piano music, which made me feel even more comfortable with its beautiful melodies. I was delighted to receive warm words from the staff saying, "Happy Wedding Anniversary." I truly appreciate their thoughtfulness.

    Very convenient for sightseeing in Kanazawa.

    I chose this place for my first visit to Kanazawa as it is within walking distance of Kenrokuen Garden and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art. While the age of the facility is understandable, there were two disappointing points. First, the design of the public bath. The security boxes in the changing area are small and cannot hold clothes, so I had to use baskets lined up like in old public baths, which made me uneasy. Inside the bath area, there were no partitions, so when someone next to me used their shower, water splashed over to my side, which was unpleasant. Second, the bathroom in my room was very narrow. It was difficult to do makeup there. Although there was a light on the desk in my room, it was too dim. Instead of placing a ReFa hair dryer there, I think more consideration should be given to overall layout improvement. I apologize for being critical; however, I must say that all Hotel staff members were very kind and helpful. Since you have such a great location and wonderful staff members already working for you, I hope you will continue striving for improvement!

    Accommodation after father's burial at Eiheiji Temple

    Stayed with my mother and my brother's family, a total of 6 people, including meals. We were very glad to have chosen this hotel for its service, facilities, and cuisine. When we requested a last-minute change to the meal time, the staff confirmed it thoroughly and accommodated an earlier time. Unfortunately, we couldn't take the Beaujolais Nouveau provided in the room as it would have been too much to carry.

    It was a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

    This Hotel offers thoughtful hospitality, making it a place I would consider staying at again. The Room was not very large, but with a sofa and bed placed around two TVs (a touch of luxury), it didn’t feel cramped. The pottery displayed in the Room, complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, and evening violin performances added to the sense of "hospitality," which was delightful. Having an Onsen at the Hotel is also greatly appreciated. The inclusion of Refa showed extra care as well. Breakfast had a casual atmosphere where I could enjoy my favorite dishes comfortably. Next time, I’d like to consider staying with dinner included. Thank you very much!

    I loved it.

    The location is excellent, allowing for sightseeing on foot while taking a stroll. It is in a very convenient area. Since we drove to Kanazawa, the free access to the parking lot was helpful (though we didn’t end up using the car for sightseeing). The facility and equipment are honestly quite old, but everything was kept clean and did not feel unpleasant. I usually sleep on an Airweave mattress at home, so I appreciated having the same mattress here and slept well. As someone with back pain, this was a big plus. The king-size bed was spacious and comfortable as well. Additionally, having a large public bath with an onsen was fantastic—it really helped relieve fatigue. They also provided ReFa shower heads along with shampoo and conditioner. This facility feels like something between a hotel and a ryokan. Do not expect concierge services here; if you need assistance such as restaurant reservations, staying at one of the major hotels near the station might be better suited for you. I would consider staying here again when traveling to Kanazawa by car in the future.

    On the second night of our Kanazawa trip, we stayed at this Hotel with an Onsen. The unique Taisho-era romantic atmosphere was delightful and enjoyable. The presence of an Onsen was a rare treat, helping us relax and recover from travel fatigue. Above all, the location was excellent—just a short walk to Kanazawa Castle Park, making it perfect for an evening stroll. The staff were incredibly kind, and the service was outstanding.

    Still as comfortable as ever.

    I was surprised to see an increase in foreign guests after staying here for the first time in 3 years! Maybe the secret about how convenient and comfortable this accommodation is got out. I still had a pleasant stay as before, but I did notice that the drinks in the fridge of my room grade were fewer, and the amenities like slippers were no longer as fluffy, which was a bit disappointing. (Sorry if I’m mistaken!)

    It became the best memory.

    We stayed in the Romantic Room for a mother-daughter trip. First, the stained glass inside the Hotel was so adorable and impressive. Enjoying traditional Japanese sweets from Yoshihashi there felt special. The luxurious touch of violin and piano performances at night, the delightful variety of fruits at breakfast, and the sparkling Japanese sake were all amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly and wake up refreshed after a long time. There are even more wonderful aspects I could mention, but it’s hard to list them all here. Above all, what made us happiest was feeling how much effort the staff put into welcoming us with smiles and hospitality. My mother kept saying how glad she was that we chose this Hotel; her joy is truly thanks to all of you on staff. Thank you very much!

    It was truly a wonderful Hotel!

    I made a reservation based on a recommendation from my friend from Kanazawa. Now part of the Sanraku Group, this charming hotel retains the elegance and calm atmosphere of a long-established accommodation, allowing me to spend an incredibly comfortable time. The stained glass in the lobby and rooms, as well as the ceramic furnishings, were truly beautiful and left me deeply impressed. Having live classical music performed in the lobby these days is such a luxury! I got the impression that this company is dedicated to supporting the arts (providing opportunities for artists is indeed commendable). The hospitality was outstanding, and I could feel the staff's kindness in wanting guests to have a comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, featuring plenty of local ingredients. The variety at breakfast was abundant, leaving me completely satisfied. The onsen had spacious baths with smooth water where I could relax thoroughly. The complimentary ice cream after bathing was also a delightful touch! My mother loved it so much that she said if we visit Kanazawa again, we must stay here! I'm truly glad I chose this accommodation!

    Excellent service.

    This was my first time staying here. At first glance, the exterior seemed a bit dated, but as soon as I entered, I felt a sense of elegance. True to that impression, the hospitality, service, and attention to detail were exceptional. My wife was particularly impressed by the thoughtful amenities (I won’t spoil the surprise) that were perfect for exploring nearby tourist spots. It’s clear that management prioritizes thinking from the guest's perspective. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff members. Thank you very much!

    The exterior is unas...

    The exterior is unassuming, but the Taisho-era romantic interior and furniture created a retro atmosphere! The room was a standard twin, so it was a bit small, but since we checked in late and left by 8 AM, it was sufficient. The room's toilet and bath seemed new and were great. Breakfast was a buffet and very delicious; we enjoyed Kanazawa's vegetables and local dishes! The bath included an Onsen and sauna, allowing us to relax. The ice cream was also delicious. The underground parking cost 1,000 yen but was spacious with plenty of spots available. It was convenient that we could leave the car there until noon even after checking out! It’s within walking distance to Higashi Chaya District and Omicho Market, making the location excellent!

    Excellent service, location, and hospitality.

    The breakfast was delicious as expected, and the Onsen was wonderful. The Room was not new, but the water facilities were updated, and the Room was spacious and comfortable. In the evening, there were violin and piano performances, and the Shuttle Service and other services were excellent. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Kanazawa.

    Amenities that delight women

    The guest rooms and large public baths are well-equipped with amenities, which delighted my daughter. Post-bath treats like Yakult and ice cream were a nice touch. While the wide range of options for women was impressive, the standard yukata as in-room wear felt slightly underwhelming. The staff were friendly, efficient, and provided excellent service. We only had breakfast during our stay, but the buffet offered a wide variety of dishes that left us satisfied. For dinner, we ate out; however, since the hotel is quite far from downtown areas and we had been sightseeing all day, I ended up feeling quite tired from all the walking!
