Kinosaki Onsen
Looking forward to crab dishes and Kinosaki Onsen, I made a reservation on IKYU as usual. The food at Nishimuraya was excellent in both taste and atmosphere, and I enjoyed the onsen at the property as well as the charming atmosphere of the town. If I had to mention one downside, it was that I could only secure a reservation at Shogetsutei instead of the main branch, and that property was more geared towards the general public. There were many families, and the breakfast venue and onsen were constantly crowded. At the time of reservation, I couldn't distinguish between the main branch and the branch, which was different from the usual stays with IKYU.

The best space
I stayed on the first day of the year-end holiday. Although I arrived early, they kindly took care of my car and luggage, allowing me to go out for a walk. The interior had a very calm atmosphere, with a pleasant scent of incense wafting through, and the lush greenery visible through the windows was soothing to the soul. Since it was a weekday, I was able to enjoy the large public bath privately and at a leisurely pace. The dishes were all delicate, and it was clear that each one was carefully prepared. The course allows you to enjoy crab in various flavors luxuriously. Additionally, the room, large public bath, and corridors were all impeccably clean, making for a very pleasant stay. The comfort of the bedding was also excellent. Although it's not a place where you can stay casually, I definitely want to use it again! Thank you for the wonderful time.

The best Onsen and crab!
I used to stay at Nishimuraya, but since they implemented a restriction on children's stays, Kinosaki felt distant. However, I learned that Shogetsutei also offers 1.5 servings of Matsuba crab, including raw, so I decided to visit for the first time! I wanted to savor the atmosphere of Nishimuraya, but I was more than satisfied with Shogetsutei! I would like to revisit Shogetsutei next time as well. The onsen and crab were excellent. Thank you very much. Compared to the onsen at Nishimuraya, I rated it 4 stars, but there are no particular issues.

High-quality Stays
After about 30 years, I visited Kinosaki Onsen and enjoyed a high-quality stay at the property. The room, onsen, meals, and the lobby café were all well-attended. The small touches, like the slipper markers in the bath and the towels prepared in front of the sauna, were wonderful. I was also impressed by the aroma of tea on the floor. The quality of the breakfast buffet was high, and I was very satisfied. The curry, in particular, was the best. It was the number one curry among hotel and ryokan breakfast buffets I've had so far. Thank you very much.

Is it too expensive?
The room is a traditional Japanese-style room. Since it's a hotel, tea is not served; instead, you receive a ticket and help yourself to tea. The crab I was looking forward to was frozen crab with the cheap plan, so I opted for the plan with one Matsuba crab per person, which cost 90,000 yen per person... The crab wasn't bad, but it's too expensive... The meat was delicious. I was surprised that the broth of the crab hot pot at the end was too thin! I almost asked for salt, but reluctantly ate it. Was that thinness calculated for when it thickens? It remained thin until the end, and the crab was disappointing.

The Room only had mi...
The Room only had mineral water, and I wished there was at least coffee available. It was very disappointing as it was too obvious that everything, including towels and dishes, was being economized.

Stayed for the first...
Stayed for the first time in three years. The service was courteous, and the meals were satisfying. Breakfast could be enjoyed quietly in a private room. The main attraction is being able to fully enjoy crab to your satisfaction. If I have a request, it would be to improve the quality of the toothbrush. I plan to visit again next year.

It was a very wonderful trip.
I had previously stayed with friends and had a good experience, so this time I visited with three generations of my family. The food was delicious, and in addition to the regular rice balls in the children's lunch, there were two with yukari seasoning, which my child left uneaten. I appreciated the offer to bring plain rice instead. The front desk and staff were courteous and provided excellent service, making me want to visit again.

A very lovely Stays.
The bath, service, room, and meals (breakfast and dinner) are all perfect at this property. The staff's service is particularly excellent, with everyone providing precise and speedy service with a smile. This time, I chose Western cuisine for dinner, and every dish was made with good ingredients and prepared carefully, making it very delicious. The bath and room remain clean, allowing for a relaxing stay. It feels like a property where you enjoy Nishimuraya Shogetsutei (Nishimuraya Shogetsutei) more than Kinosaki Onsen. The quality of the i...
The quality of the ingredients was good, and the elaborate dishes were delicious. It was very nice to be able to change the breakfast buffet to a meal in a private restaurant. Buffets can be tiring with all the lining up. It was nice that there was a partition in the Onsen shower booth. I got the impression that the service provided was worth the price.

Dinner is excellent!
I thought it would be inconvenient as it is away from the Onsen town, but with a shuttle bus running every 30 minutes on schedule, there was no inconvenience at all. We went to Sanpou for dinner by shuttle bus. The freshly prepared dishes were served perfectly in line with our eating pace, and the portions were just right, making it a highly satisfying course. Both check-in and check-out were smooth, and there was no stress from start to finish. The large public bath was spacious and clean, making it a very satisfying trip in every aspect. Couple's Trip
This is our second stay. Last time, I stayed with my daughter. This time, I decided to have a relaxing time with my husband, so it's our second stay. We used the private Onsen both last time and this time, and it was very nice. The food was more to my liking last time than this time. What was a bit disappointing was that the Room had a strange smell this time. Although there was an air purifier, it still smelled.

The private onsen "Forest Private Spa" requires an additional fee, but it is truly appreciated by everyone. On some days, it gets fully booked in advance. It is also highly rated by overseas guests. It was a relaxing time.
I arrived early, but was shown to my Room as it was ready. The Room was more spacious than expected, allowing me to relax. I was also satisfied with the meal at the restaurant. The front desk staff provided excellent service. I would like to use it again.
